Gabriel's P.O.V
Today was finally the moment that I had been waiting for since I had laid eyes on Eva Sanchez, taking her as my wife. I was up and dressed in my usal attire. I had enough time to pray before the ceremony. I waited by the door of the sanctuary and prayed for the safety of and protection of my beautiful soon to be wife.
The archbishop finally approached me and told me "Gabriel, it's time." I could hear the soft sounds of Mendelsohn's wedding processional playing as I followed to my place at the altar. The backdoors of the sanctuary opened and there stood my Eva. She looked like an angel and I watched each careful step she took as she made her way to me.

I carefully made my way down the aisle under the watchful eye of the Order and to the altar where my true love stood. Once beside him, I placed my hand in his and I knew that I was with the one I was meant to be with for the rest of our lives.
After a prayer and a scripture reading; it was time to exchange our vows. I listened as Gabriel recited the vow he was told. When he had finished, it was my turn to give my vow. I took a deep breath before I finally recited "I, Eva Sanchez, pledge to you, Gabriel Van Helsing, my heart, loyalty, and all I am. I vow here before our creator that I will, love, honor cherish, and surrender to you as long as we both shall live."
Once I had spoken my vow, Gabriel and I dropped the rings into the bowl that the archbishop held and he blessed the rings before Gabriel took the ring for me and slid it into place on the fourth finger of my left hand where it would remain for the rest of my life. The moment still felt like a dream as we stood facing each other. Now, one blessing stood in the way of the kiss that would seal our union as husband and wife.
At long last, we came to those official words as the archbishop closed the bible and told us "May your union be blessed and the vow that you have made before the Lord be held close to your hearts. By the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. Gabriel, you may kiss the bride."
Gabriel held me close as he kissed me softly before we let go to be respectful for now. He finally escorted me out of the church and we stopped at our room to take my veil out and remove my necklace so I wouldn't lose it or stain it during supper.
When at last I was ready, Gabriel led me out the gardens where a table and chairs had been set up. We sat across from each other and a servant brought us our supper and two chalices of wine. Over dinner, we talked and vowed that we were going to work through everything that would come our way.
