I'm so sorry for not updating in such a long time. Things have been crazy the last little while and I've had massive writers block but I'm back and here is the next chapter. Hope you enjoy and remember to review!

Chapter 12: Aftermath

Brooke headed for her car trying to get as far away from the school and her mother as fast as she could. She had Haley, Peyton and Rachel hot on her heels not letting her leave without them, they had already messaged the guys and they all agreed to meet at the house to help Brooke calm down. Brooke knew the girls were following her but she was not in the mood to slow down she just wanted to get the hell out of there before her mother had the chance to stop her. Finally Rachel tried yelling to get her attention.

Rachel: Brooke, would you slow down please

Brooke: No I need to get the hell out of here

Haley: Brooke please just talk to us

Brooke: I will when we get back to the house and far away that bitch

With that Brooke got in the car and waited for the other three to climb in as well before she speed out of the parking lot heading for their house where she knew she would be safe for the time being.

Once back at the house they all piled inside to find the guys already there and Brooke made her way to Lucas waiting arms and just shook.

Clay: What happened?

Rachel: Well we were in Professor Hudson's class which we all knew was going to be a guest speaker just not who it was going to be till this morning. Once class started he made the introduction of Mrs. Victoria Evans. Brooke screamed while the rest of us just sat there in shock not sure what to say or do. Now as I'm sure you all figured out yes the Mrs. Victoria Evans is actually Victoria Davis Brooke and Clay's mother, if you can even call her that. Anyway our professor gave Brooke and Victoria ten minutes in his office and I have no idea what was said but by the time Brooke came out of his office she grabbed her stuff and stormed out of the classroom with us following her and now were here.

Clay: Brookie are you okay?

Brooke: No, that women has no right to be anywhere near me or you and yet she says she's been living in New York with her husband.

Clay: Brooke please start from the beginning im so lost.

Lucas: I'm going to go make you some tea

Brooke: Thank you Lucas, well as Rachel has already said we were to have a guest speaker in class today and it turned out to be our horrible witch of a mother. When I had my outburst she tried to tell me we would talk after class but I told her we would be talking than otherwise I would not be staying in class, she we went into the professors office and she wanted to explain but I didn't want to hear it so I told her I was the one who's was going to be talking and then I said...

Flashback

Brooke: "I've hated you for so long, I probably always will for the way you treated me and Clay, I hated you for Clay leaving, I hated you for daddy leaving, I just plain hate you. You never loved me, I was a mistake and you never wanted a daughter so you took the opportunity to ship me off to daddy which I'm thankful for but you weren't there for me when he died and Clay wasn't around either because you chased him away when we were living in California and I needed both my mother and brother I shouldn't have had to deal with Dad's death by myself. I don't want you in my life or anywhere near me so please go back to California and let's forget you were ever here".

Victoria: I'm sorry you feel that was Brooke but I'm not going back to California this is my home now, I've made a life for myself here, my husband has his family and business in New York and I moved here to be with him.

Brooke: WHAT? I should have known you would get a new husband; you probably had more kids that you actually love too

Victoria: Now Brooke I'm still your mother

Brooke: you might be my mother but you are not my mom, all I feel for you is pure hate and disgust I don't want to see you around here or my family again, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME...

Brooke: then I stormed out of the office and classroom.

Lucas: Here baby have some of your tea it'll help calm your nerves.

Brooke: Thanks babe your amazing

Clay: What do we do now?

Brooke: you do absolutely nothing I however have to go back and talk to professor Hudson seeing as how I walked out before class really even began.

Rachel: we all have to go back, cause we all left

Brooke: you guys should have stayed, I would have been fine

Haley: nonsense we are family and family sticks together especially now

Rachel: Brooke is it okay if I go call uncle Cooper and fill him in on this new development?

Brooke: please do I don't think I could go through the whole thing a third time

Rachel got up and headed to the kitchen to call uncle Cooper and fill him in on Victoria showing up in New York at the school, when the door bell rings. Since Clay was closest to the door he got up to answer it and almost fell over when he saw who was standing on the other side.

Clay: What are you doing here Victoria?

Victoria: Nice to see you to son, is my daughter home?

Clay: now why on earth would I let you in this house when I know for a fact that Brooke said everything she has to say to you at school. I think you should leave your not welcome here and your most certainly not welcome in our lives anymore. You have never been a mother to us and there is no point in starting now that you have a new husband and obviously want something from us.

Victoria: Clay Richard Davis that is no way to speak to your mother. You and your sister need to learn some respect when it comes to how you talk to me.

Clay: Respect? You want to talk about respect? How about the fact that you never cared about us even when you were with Dad or the fact that once you and Dad divorced you still never bothered to pay attention to Brooke or myself and then after I leave you didn't even try to come looking for me to make sure I was okay and then not long after that you shipped Brooke of to live with Dad which I must admit was probably the smartest decision you have ever made as our mother but now after years you show up and claim that you have a new husband and you moved to New York to be with him but you would have never done that for Dad. Brooke needed you when our father died and you couldn't even be bothered to call your daughter to see how she was doing with everything you left her to handle it all on her own.

Brooke: Who's at the door Clay?

Clay: nobody important just stay in the living room Brooke

Brooke: to late... What the hell are you doing at my house?

Victoria: I just want to explain a few things

Brooke: I'm pretty sure I told you earlier to stay the hell away from me and my family. You have no right to be here nor do I want you here, now please leave before im forced to call the police and have you arrested for trespassing.

Victoria: Now Brooke you listen to me, you're going to have to talk to me at some point I live in New York...

Brooke: I will never have to talk to you nor do I want to see you anymore you have never been a mother to me and there is no point in starting now, so just leave

Victoria: fine I will leave but you can't get away from me that easily I'm going to be at the university for the rest of the semester helping Professor Hudson with his class.

Brooke: you have to be kidding me

Victoria: afraid not, seeing as how I'm apart of a multimillion dollar company your Professor has asked me to help in teaching you students what it takes to be successful.

Clay: I think its time you left Victoria

With that Clay slammed the door shut before Victoria could even respond. Brooke was staring off into space not sure what had just happened.

Clay: Brooke, you going to be okay?

Brooke: huh? Oh yea I'm sure I'll be just fine once I find a way to get that women far away from me and my school

Brooke left clay standing there speechless not sure what exactly his sister was up to but he knew it was going to be something that got Victoria out of their lives forever and he can't say that he blames Brooke for wanting her gone he just hopes she doesn't do anything to drastic.
