Tracy sister
Chapter 14: Epilogue
The jury didn't know what to do. They knew that these people in front of them had helped the Hood, but they had no evidence to support it. The judge was even more confused. Wanting to convict the 2, but having no evidence or cause to do so. It seemed that the pair knew they were going to get away from the smug looks on their faces.
"Does anyone actually have any evidence against them?" He asked, looking at the defence councillor. When no one said anything he sighed. "Are you telling me that these 2 are stood in front of me and the only evidence that they did something wrong is that 3 federal agents said they are involved?"
"Actually." Someone said, stepping through the doors. The judge couldn't believe his eyes. Walking towards him was John, Evelyn and Gordon Tracy, John's arm in a cast, Evelyn carrying a laptop and Gordon wearing a smirk. "I think we have some pretty substantial evidence." Evelyn said, walking up to the judge and pulling out her badge. "Special agent Evelyn Tracy. What I have here, can only be seen by you and the jury." She said. He nodded his head and everyone except himself, the jury and the 2 accused, Transome and Mullian, left the room.
"Before we start, we need everyone to sign this sheet." John said as Gordon handed a sheet to the jury and judge.
"What is this?" He asked.
"This, states that what you see and hear in this room is to stay in this room and not be told to anyone." Gordon said. "And if you even consider telling anyone, my darling sister here carries a gun and is not afraid to use it." They all shared slightly scared looked before signing as Evelyn plugged the laptop into the projector.
"Ok. Transome and Mullian here, helped the Hood to find our island and attempt to kill my family." Evelyn said. "This, is footage from the island's cameras."
"Why do you have cameras on an island?" Someone in the jury asked.
"Because we have secrets to protect. And someone has a habit of disappearing." She said with a pointed look at Gordon.
They watched the footage with wide eyes. The first thing they realised, was that the Tracy's are the Thunderbirds. They watched as they got trapped on Thunderbird 5, Evelyn escaped from the control room, Alan and 2 unknown kids nearly got burnt by Thunderbird 1's engines and they got thrown into the freezer. This was the first time John and Gordon saw what actually happened on the island. They knew it was bad, but they didn't know how bad.
They then saw Evelyn running into Thunderbird 2, dressed in a flight suit and carrying a backpack. They saw the Hood, Transome and Mullian go into the green bird and take off. They saw the footage from the freezer where Lady P cut Parker's binds with an icicle she hit with her shoe, Parker picking the lock and them saving the stranded Tracy's on Thunderbird 5. They saw the kids and Lady P take off in Thunderbird 1 and then the footage cut out.
"Well, that is pretty conclusive evidence." The judge said as Transome and Mullian glowered at Evelyn.
"That's not all." She said. She bought up another feed and they realised that it was the footage from the bank. Not even John or Gordon knew she got that.
"How did you get that?" John asked, knowing it couldn't be legal, and here she was, showing it to a judge.
"I have high clearance. If you want, you can call the director of NCIS and ask him." She said looking at the judge.
They watched as the mole broke through the floor and the Hood, Transome and Mullian jumped out. They watched as they broke into the various vaults and took out the gems and money. They saw Lady P get locked in the cage and Evelyn arrive. They saw Jeff get thrown into the cage and then Alan being held above the ground by his throat. They couldn't see the platform where Evelyn was fighting the Hood, but they saw when she lowered him down and had the heart-warming reunion with her family. They saw Transome and Mullian try to free the Hood and get arrested, where the footage cut out.
The judge shared a look with the jury and then the Tracy's. "Ok. If the jury would like to retire to make their decision, I will call the court back in and you can give your verdict."
"Evie, where did you get that footage?" Gordon asked as the jury walked out of the room.
"Copied it from the Island's security feed." She said with a wink.
"Does Dad know?" John asked, looking slightly worried.
"He'll be fine with it." She replied.
10 minutes later, they were all stood in the court room again with the 3 Tracy's stood by the judge while the jury gave their verdict.
"Based on the information we received from Miss Tracy, we believe that the defendants, Transome and Mullian, are guilty." They said, making the Tracy's smile.
"Transome, Mullian. You are both sentenced to 30 years in a federal prison. Court is adjourned." The judge said, slamming his hammer on the table. John and Gordon slapped Evie on the shoulder and messed her hair, unaware of Mullian.
"You bitch!" He yelled, breaking free of the officer holding him and pinning Evie to the wall behind her. "This is your fault!" He spat. John was about to protect his sister, when she kicked Mullian in the balls and bought him to his knees, pulling her gun out and pointing it at him.
"No! This is your fault." She spat at him, hatred clear in her voice. "I didn't ask you to attempt to kill my family. I didn't ask for my little brother to be so close to death! And I certainly didn't ask for you to kidnap me!" She said. The officers grabbed him and hauled him to his feet. "All I ask, is that you stay away from my family. Or I will not hesitate to pull the trigger." He was pulled away and the judge walked up to her.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah. He'll hurt more than me." She said. "Thank you. You have no idea what those 2 have put us through."
"I have an idea." He replied with a smile. "After all, your father let all of us know." He said. John, Gordon and Evelyn looked at him with wide eyes. "Agent 20, at your service."
"You're one of IR's agents?" Gordon asked, a little too loud.
"Shut it Gordo!" John snapped.
"And yes. I am. Your father let me know you were on your way when he found Evelyn had copied the camera footage." He said, making the girl blush as John and Gordon looked at her.
"You said dad knew what you were doing." John said.
"Actually, I said that he will be fine with it. I never actually asked him." She replied with a smile.
"Well, he was right when he said I needed to keep an eye on you." The judge said.
"What is your name by the way?" Gordon asked, making Evie hit him round the head.
"It's ok. My name is James Hardly." He replied, shaking their hands.
"We'd better go. We need to get the supplies while we're here." John said. "And we need to get you back so you can start the repairs on 5." He said to Evie.
"Well, if ever you are in trouble, let me know." James said.
"Thank you James." Evie said. They left and quickly got the supplies before heading back to Tracy 1.
"Hey Evie, How did you get that information? Truthfully." John asked as they got settled. Evie went straight to the pilot seat with John in the co-pilot. Gordon stood behind them for a minute, wanting to know the answer.
"I hacked into the bank's systems. But Director Vance owes me a favour and promised to cover for me." She said, making her brothers laugh. "Come on. Let's get back." Gordon left the cockpit and sat on the sofa as they took off. They headed back for home, unaware of the troubles that were just around the corner.
