Hey it's been a while, been extremely busy. Sorry for the wait!

LAST TIME ON OF HOTTIES AND BOYFRIENDS:

"Wait...you... born greek...had a child with a roman god?"

"Yes, Sammy is half greek half roman. Born into a time when interaction between the two side was..."

"Forbidden..."

Sam's POV

I felt numb, horribly, extremely, and unfathomably numb. My mother's words rang through my ears and my heart felt like it was leaping out of my chest.

Percy and Annabeth sat on the couch, eyes scrunched with concentration. I can't even begin to comprehend why they weren't surprised by this. I mean, I'm ILLEGAL. Illicit, forbidden, prohibited, legitimate, taboo, unacceptable and pretty ever other synonym in the english language.

I felt a boil of anger rise in her, how could my best friend not care? How could they not even care? My eyes burned and I felt a waterfall pushing at the back of my eyes. I was angry, so angry, but most of all I was ashamed.

Ashamed to be the product of an unauthorized affair. All my life, I hated my father for leaving her, for being an ass and for breaking my mother's heart. But now, well, I don't even know what to think anymore.

Emotions boiled up in me and I snapped my head down to stare at my feet.

"Sam?" I heard Annabeth calling out to me.

Silence filled the room.

"Sam?" This time it was Percy, his voice quite a bit deeper than his girlfriends. "If it helps, you should know that you aren't the only one, I'm illegal too."

I turned her gaze to face him and he flashed me a tentative grin. "What do you mean?"

"Well, 60 years ago, after World War II, the Big Three Gods made a pact to never have children. They were simply too powerful. The birth of each usually brought on destruction, or another great prophecy. They all swore on the styx, which is the most serious oath you can make."

Annabeth placed a hand on her shoulder and continued the story.

"Well, before the oath was taken, Hades sired 2 more children. Nico and Bianca Di Angelo. For fear that they would become Gods, Zeus ordered them to Camp Half-Blood where they could be watched. When the deadline passed, Zeus tried to kill them, but instead killed their mother. The children were sent to safety in the Lotus Casino. As story for another time."

Percy took over. "Than, decades later Zeus fall of the bandwagon, sires a baby girl by the name of Thalia Grace. She ran away and found her way to camp with 2 other demigods. On the hill, she took her last stand. As she was dying, her father took pity on her and turned her into a pine tree."

A puzzle piece clicked in my brain and I stared at him. "Wait, the tree on the hill is Thalia?"

Percy chucked wryly. "Yep, that's her. Well not anymore but...getting off track."

"Anyway, years after that, than comes me. Poseidon is the last to break the oath. Well, I come along and, well, my story is still being written. Point is, you aren't the only one of your kind. We all felt ashamed for a while, but sooner or later, you realize that it really isn't that bad. Life is still good."

I smiles and shook my head. "But, does it ever...still...bother you?"

His expression darkened. "Oh yeah, all the time. The first time I met Poseidon, he told me that he regretted that I was every born."

"Oh.."

"Yeah..oh.." He shook off the frown and turned it upside down. "Well, we get along fine now. So I leave the past in the past."

I inhaled deeply and turned to my mother. "Mom..why?"

Tears filled her eyes and looked at me kindly. "Why? Well darling..I loved him."

I instantly felt my heart break as I watched the women who raised me break down.

"I'm sorry Sammy, I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault. You loved him."

Percy spoke out softly. "You can't control that kind of love." Even as he said that, he wasn't looking at my mother, he was gazing at Annabeth with the kind of adoration that was so rare in life.

Annabeth gripped his hand tightly and rested her head on his shoulder.

My mother got up from the couch and moved to sit next to me. She looked at me silently. We both gazed at the couple sitting across from us. They were currently in their own little world. Totally consumed by each other.

"Sammy, that kind of love is so hard to find. Especially in people as young as they are. The way that he looks at her...that special look that says...'I'll do anything for you, even if it costs my own life', gods I wanted that so bad."

Tears flooded her face a look of complete grief crossed her features.

"Than he came along, and he was so sweet. He told me he loved me and that was that. I was hooked. It was like being in quicksand. I was in too deep and the more I struggled to stay away from him, the harder it became to leave."

She placed a hand on my palm. The tears in my eyes made my vision go blurry.

"I'm so sorry baby. I can't even tell you how sorry I am. I don't regret having you, but sometimes I wonder, if I just waited a few more years..." She gasped for breath "Just a few more years and you wouldn't have been in this mess."

Heartache racked through my body and I reached over to grab my mother's hands.

"Mama..I love you."

"I love you too baby, so much."

-MEANWHILE-

Percy's POV

I looked away from Annabeth for a second to see Ms. Russo lead her daughter out of the room.

"Seaweed Brain?" I heard my girlfriend murmur.

"Hm?" I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her onto my lap.

"Do you ever wonder about our future?"

I looked up from her bouncy blonde curls and adjusted her so that I could see her face. I swiped a piece of her hair out of her feature and smiled at her. "Of course I do."

My grin only widened when I watched the smile I fell in love with so long ago grace her features. Then I felt my heart break when it disappeared just as fast as it came. "Oh Percy, who knows if we will even survive for that long."

I place my palm on her cheek. "We will. I know it. Just as long as we stay together, because united we are stronger than anything that will try to stand in our way."

A blush crossed her face and she looked away, embarrassed. "Do you...Do you ever think about children?"

Panic seized me as the full weight of the question processed in my brain. Gripping her tightly I chose my words carefully. "I don't know about now...but in the future it's definitely a possibility."

"I don't know Seaweed Brain. Would we be strong enough to watch him or her grow up the way we did? Loosing innocence so young?"

"Well, he or she will have something we didn't."

Annabeth looked curiously at me. "And what's that?"

"Our protection and love. The protection of 2 capable parents. I'm not saying that the gods aren't capable, but what have they done to help us? As for our mortal parents...well, I don't think they have enough training to protect us."

"Of course Seaweed Brain, that's why they send us to camp" She knocked my lightly on the head.

"But in all seriousness. Dead or alive, children or no children, I will always love you."

-LINE BREAK OF AWESOMENESS-

Hours later, the four of us found our way back in the airport. Our plan was to get to Mt. Olympus and talk to the Gods directly about this problem.

"I see no reason in Sam's dilemma, so what if she was illegal back than? It's perfectly normal for Greek and Roman to mix now."

The second I finished my statement Annabeth slapped me straight across the back of my head. "Seaweed Brain, have you got any logic? That's like saying that you sell a drug before it becomes illegal. But then they pass a law that makes it illegal, but the dealer doesn't get arrested because he wasn't selling the drugs while they were illegal."

"...That doesn't even make sense! But what reason do they have to kill Sam? It's not like she's dangerous."

"The Gods may beg to differ." I jumped as Ms Russo spoke out. "She is the first of her kind. They don't know how she will turn out. They may be afraid."

"Of what..a world revolution?" My tone was totally sarcastic but Sam's mother remained totally serious.

"It is a possibility."

My eyes bounced back and forth between Sam and her mother.

Annabeth cleared her throat. "She is right Percy, you never know what will happen will the Gods."

Flight 210 from San Francisco to New York is now boarding

I glance up as the intercom blasted out our flight number and stood up, slinging my satchel over my shoulder.

Annabeth gripped my hand reassuringly as she led our little group to the door. A lady in a blue fight attendant uniform took our tickets and swiped them against a machine. Then, tearing of the stub on the side she handed it back to me and ushered me to the tunnel.

A familiar wave of panic crossed me as I stepped into the plane. Suddenly, I felt Annabeth grip my hand.

Immediately, a bit of the panic alleviated and I squeezed her hand with such vigor that she let out a yelp.

I promptly dropped her hand, with guilt. "Sorry Wise Girl."

She smiled warmly at me and plopped into her seat, pulling me closely behind her.

The second I sat down I instantly leaned over and buckled my girlfriend's seat belt then turned away to buckle mine. I heard her laugh amusedly and she bent towards me, head resting on my shoulder.

"It's gonna be ok Seaweed Brain, I promise that it will all be ok."

Putting blind faith into her words, I closed my eyes and the plane took off.

-LINE BREAKKKKKKKKKK-

The second we landed I unbuckled my seat belt and leapt out of the chair. If it weren't for my girlfriend, I would have probably ran to the door and cut it open with Riptide.

Annabeth, who had been sleeping on my shoulder shot up with a crazed look in her eye when I sprung up.

She placed a hand over her heart and gasped out "Gods..Perseus you scared the Hades out of me!"

I flashed her my trademark grin and answered "Sorry babe.."

Her eyes narrowed. "Don't call me that."

I raised my hands in surrender. "Ok, just don't give me that look."

As the crowd of people began to slowly exit, I grabbed my girlfriend's hand and led her out of the death contraption. As soon as my foot made contact with ground I gasped and inhaled as much air as I could.

"Thank the Gods! I made it out of that death contraption...TWICE!"

Annabeth's POV

As soon as Percy and I found Sam and her Mom we took of towards Olympus. Standing in the elevator, I could see Sam shaking with apprehension.

A ding rang out in the tiny space and the golden door slipped open. I led an awestruck Sam down the stairs, pride running through me at my creation.

With Percy's arms around my wait I pushed open the door to the throne room and the four of us stepped into the grand space.

Ms. Russo let out a shaky breath.

"Samantha Russo...We have been waiting for you..."
