Yellow watched Arceus from across the field. During combat, Arceus's movements were rigid and precise. However, between fights, Arceus moved about oddly, as if it were trying to shake something off. Somehow, she knew that Arceus was fighting against Orpheus's control, and that it didn't want to fight Yellow. Looking at her palm, Yellow could feel the new power that she had gained. It pulsed through her body, flooding every ounce of her being with strength (Not HM04). I promise that I'll free you. Yellow thought. She looked behind her and saw Red's hand offering to help her up. Yellow took it and got to her feet.

"Does everyone understand the plan?" Green asked, "Good."

Without another word, he jumped on his Charizard and flew into the air. Red and Yellow leapt out of the way as Blue got on her Blastoise and charged at Arceus.

"Blasty, Surf!" she shouted. Blastoise pointed its hydro cannons at the ground and fired a huge volume of water at the ground. The water swelled and piled together, turning into a huge tidal wave. Arceus began to move, but Orpheus put his hand out.

"No," he said in an almost bored tone, "Their foolish plan is doomed to fail. Let them try."

Orpheus released a drifblim and flew out of the way, but Arceus merely watched as tsunami crashed into him. As the waves passed over Arceus, Blue called up to Green.

"Quickly, it's your turn!" she shouted.

In the sky, Charizard stopped flying and let itself fall. Then, it spread its wings and coated itself in a blazing inferno that crashed headfirst into Arceus.

"Out of the way Green!" Red shouted, as Venusaur fired a solarbeam Arceus. The resulting blast send a shockwave out and threw up dust, obscuring Arceus from view.

"Did we get him?" Blue asked. Suddenly, they heard laughter coming from the smoke.

"Oh yes, you got him alright. You didn't hurt him, but you got him!"

The smoke dispersed and, to their shock, Arceus and Orpheus emerged unharmed.

"That's impossible!" Red exclaimed, "We hit him with everything we had!"

"Calm down Red," Green replied, "Don't lose your head."

Red took a deep breath and relaxed slightly. "Alright, how about if we try-"

"Wait!" Yellow interjected, "I have a better idea." Red looked at her incredulously.

"You don't even know what I was going to say!" he exclaimed indignantly. Yellow smiled weakly.

"I know, but I still have a better idea."

Red, who could not come up with a retort, crossed his arms and fumed silently. Meanwhile, Blue was struggling not to laugh. Even Green smiled a little.

"I can't fault her logic Red," Green smirked. Red glared at him.

"Me neither, you're not really know for your brilliant plans Red." Blue added.

Red gave her the you're not helping face and signalled for Yellow to continue.

"I can feel that Arceus doesn't want to fight us." Yellow began.

"Then what the heck is it doing now, painting?" Red interrupted.

"Shut up, Red." Green told him.

"If we attack Orpheus directly, it could break his control." Yellow suggested.

Green nodded.

"I had a similar thought." he admitted, "But the problem is that none of us have gotten anywhere close to him since Arceus came out."

"We'll need to find some way to separate him from Arceus." Red added. Then,

Blue perked up.

"I've got it!" she exclaimed. The others turned to face her.

"Back when I used surf on Arceus, Orpheus flew away on a Drifblim to avoid to

attack. If I use surf again, you guys can attack Orpheus in the air."

"Correction," Red interrupted, "Green and Yellow will attack Orpheus, Aero can't fight anymore, he's too tired. I'll help Blue attack Arceus to drive away Orpheus."

"You know," Blue said, "Even though we're in a lot of danger and everything, it's

nice to see the whole group together again. Right Yellow?"

Yellow looked at Blue in surprise, then nodded, "Yeah," she replied.

Then, Red, Yellow, and Green stood back as Blue hopped onto her Blastoise and

set up another surf attack. Yellow released Kitty and Green climbed onto Charizard.

"Do they really think that another pathetic barrage is going to defeat Arceus?" Orpheus laughed. He released his Drifblim again and avoided to wave. Suddenly, a fireball whooshed past him.

"Damn! I missed," Green said.

Realizing his mistake, Orpheus called down to Arceus. Then, from the ground, huge vines erupted and wrapped themselves around Arceus, immobilizing its body. Orpheus cursed and looked up to his drifblim.

"Use ominous wind," he ordered. The balloon pokemon shivered, then created a turbulent gust of wind that surrounded Orpheus. Kitty and Charizard recoiled sharply, turning away from the prevailing winds.

"We have to break through this wind!" Yellow shouted over the whistling air. Green studied the wind closely and nodded. Yellow couldn't hear him, but he said something to Charizard and the fire lizard flew skyward. When it came back down, it used its wings and momentum to make a powerful gust attack. The attack was powerful enough to disperse some of the wind, revealing Orpheus floating in the center. Yellow released Chuchu and poised her ready to attack.

As she held, Chuchu, Yellow inserted a pocket of energy into Chuchu. Then, Chuchu jumped from Yellow and let loose a thunderbolt. Unlike a normal thunderbolt, this thunderbolt made the air around it sting and created an incredibly loud static noise. The bolt made contact with Drifblim, surrounding it in a sea of lightning. The drifblim took the attack for a moment, then it violently exploded. The explosion sent Charizard and Kitty tumbling out of the air. Yellow fell through the air like a brick, with nothing to break her fall. Suddenly, some vines came out of nowhere and wrapped around her waist, stopping her from hitting the ground. She turned and saw that Green was saved as well.

"We did it!" Blue exclaimed as Saur put them on the ground. "We really won!"

Yellow looked back at where Orpheus was. All that was left were a few wisps of smoke. Is he really gone? she asked herself. Then, she realized, Arceus! The God pokemon had long since broken free of its plant restraints and vanished. Yellow turned from side to side in hopes of finding it somewhere in the flat seemingly endless grassland that they had been transported to.

"If you're looking for Arceus, you won't find him here." said a voice from behind her.

The pokedex holders all turned around in shock to find Orpheus standing behind them. The explosion had taken its toll on his body. His hat was gone and his hair was mangled and wild, resembling an angered lion. Where his right hand was supposed to be, there was a blue crystalline growth covering it. His black coat was torn and burnt, but the biggest difference was his face.

The left portion of Orpheus's face was badly burnt and scarred. He glared at the pokedex holders with his remaining eye, withholding an unspeakable amount of hate.

"I didn't ask for very much, you know!" he shouted, all pretense of calmness now

gone. "Maybe some destruction here, a new world there, and some dead bodies in between!"

"You're insane!" Red shouted. Orpheus's eye glinted dangerously.

"How true!" he exclaimed manically, "And now, I'm going to turn you all to dust!"

With that said, he vanished into thin air, leaving the confused Pokedex holders to their fate. Red looked at the others curiously.

"What did he mean by that?" Red asked, "Do you think he meant it?"

"Maybe he's just threatening us?" Blue wondered. Green shook his head.

"Our opponent is an insane man with total control over the most powerful pokemon to ever exist." Green noted, "Whatever he's got planned, we need to be careful, or else the whole world might be in danger." Blue shrugged

"Yeah, but maybe he won't be thinking strai-" Suddenly, she stopped talking. Her eyes grew wide and she fell to her knees.

"You've got to be kidding..." she murmured. Everyone else followed her line of sight and breathed in sharply.
