Hello again guys and gals and thank you for reading this story, now I for one like to express what I think about your reviews and such I would comment, if I see any review I'll happily comment this here.
Anonymous= My dear reader, one can't just simply stop me once I'm drawn to something and you'd be reassured (or not) that I'll keep on doing it in some parts of the story.
FoShow506= I'm really glad you're liked this story and of course I'll plan to keep this up (or down). About the cliffhangers I can't help it, I got to enjoy sometimes, right?
So that's my comments so without further ado, let the story begin! (P.S Future chapters would be in Narrator's P.O.V)
"Who am I?" Chrome repeated chuckling, "Who I am doesn't matter, the only thing that matters here are you." Chrome then cocked his revolver and aimed at Red, "Let me get rid of the problem." Chrome said as he shot at the mad jester. The said jester dodged it like a gymnast as he bends backward.
"Get the civilians to safety!" Chrome shouted as he charges at the jester, throwing a knife at him only to be deflected. Red was laughing maniacally as he runs up the stairs, Chrome hot on his heels as he shot at him multiple times until reloading once more. The jester then went inside the room and locked it, Chrome could only spartan kick the door open as it busted the hinges. The room was dark but definitely spacious, wisps showed up one by one illuminating said room. The room was a ball room and in the middle of the room is the mad jester himself with the creepy wide smile on his mask.
"Had a change of scenery? Hm?" Chrome asked as his left hand went closer to throwing a knife at him, "Hohoho, it's no fun if we don't have a wide space to kill each other." the jester answered. Chrome then gripped on his bone-tooth necklace to see an ominous purple coming out of the jester. Chrome could only grin at the one in front of him, one less target to think about as he shot at the jester.
"The exit is this way, don't push each other!" Stella said as she and Grace help evacuate the citizens, "Hope Chrome's alright." Grace said worried lacing her tone, "He's always alright, one way or another." Stella said as she reassures her rival/friend. No sooner than later a body almost hit Stella and as she looked to where the body flew from was Leo hammering the assassin's with the help of Rexir and Corona as they take out every last assassin. When the citizens evacuated the area Grace and Stella soon joined the fight.
"Are the citizens alright?" Rexir finally spoke shocking the three a bit but shrugging it off and continued on, "Yes they're already miles away from the castle." Grace answered as she threw a potion of blinding at a group of enemies; Leo took the chance and jumped up then landing back down on the group of blinded enemies crushing them effectively. Leo then gave a mighty roar as he charged at a large bulky man with a giant war hammer. The bulky man swings the hammer at the side of Leo who jumped up and landed on the hammer pinning it to the ground. The man then started to punch the beast only to get bitten and thrown up to the ceiling and landing again as Leo swings his paw, making the man fly towards a group of enemies who tried to dodge the human projectile.
"Good job, Leo!" Stella congratulated Leo as she shot an arrow to someone's head, "Thank you Mistress." Leo telepathically said to Stella, "W-what?! Why're you calling me 'Mistress'?!" Stella was shocked with what Leo called her and even the fact that a lion talked to her, "You will know one day Mistress."
"Stella! Look out!" Grace warned, Stella looked around and notice a foe already about to swipe at her but dropped dead as his head was pierced by an arrow, Stella looked to where the arrow came from; it came from Rexir who gave a two finger salute and charges at a group of enemy with his spear, "Thanks Rexir!"
"I'm glad that we were able to give them their weapons back." Motor said to Andr, they were on the castle walls watching the fight, "Should we help them?" Andr asked worried for her friends, "If you want. I'm not a fighter but you are, so help them if you wish." Andr just nodded and teleported in to the fray holding a darkened sword with an ender pearl on its hilt. She teleported near Rexir who had an enemy behind him, Andr slashed at the enemy, killing the enemy and saving a friend.
"Thanks." Rexir thanked Andr with a quiet tone, "No problem." Andr then teleported besides Corona and began to fight off the enemy.
"Where's Chrome?" Andr asked Corona, "He went upstairs to fight the clown." Andr looked a bit worried and teleported away back to Motor, "What's wrong?"
"Chrome doesn't have his weapons." Andr answered shocking Motor, "Hurry give this to him, I saw him went to the ball room." Motor handed two guard-less swords and the elephant gun together with the ammo pouch, Andr took it immediately and teleported back and run up the stairs. Andr could only teleport to where she was been and for a limited distance. Andr then was in front of the broken door and notice Chrome dodging attacks from the mad jester, "Chrome! Here!" Andr threw Chrome's weapons back to Chrome as he catches the weapons and immediately unsheathes the swords.
"You can go help there others now! Let me handle this sicko!" Chrome said as he charges at the jester once again, Andr left and it's the two of them alone once again.
"Can't fight without your weapons?" The jester sneered, "Then what's the point of fighting if there's no weapon? Surely there is no such thing as a weaponless war." Chrome retorted grinning as he noticed the calm and crazy jester stiffened in anger, "I think I struck a nerve, I'll strike another then." Chrome lunges at the jester once again, he sneakily put away his left sword back to its' sheathe and pulled out his revolver. The jester blocked Chrome's first attack but noticed Chrome's left hand have a revolver. The jester immediately bends backward again, kicking Chrome in the gut; Chrome was then thrown behind the jester due to the jester carrying Chrome with the initial kick.
"Clever." The jester commented as he throws a couple of daggers at Chrome, Chrome could only have a little panic attack as he moves back faster than one can say 'no' while still lying down. Once his little panic attack was over he got up as quick as he fell, "I almost died there!"
"That's the point, no?" Red said as he charges at Chrome, Chrome charges also clashing blades with the mad jester. Chrome then hit the jester in the head with the hilt of the his sword dazing the jester, Chrome then drop kicked him in the head knocking out the jester. Chrome then walked towards Red and when he finally reached the body, he stabbed it right in the heart but it disappeared like smoke.
"Smoke and mirrors are a magician's best friend." The jester's voice was heard in the ball room, "Just need to use it in the right PLACE!" Red shouted the last part as he appeared out of nowhere beside's Chrome and punched him, when Chrome punched back the jester disappeared once again.
"Show yourself!" Chrome said as he hears Red's crazed laughing from around him, "Peak-a-boo!" Red said as he appeared behind Chrome and Spartan kicking him, making him tumble forwards, once Chrome regained his footing and looked back he was gone, "Stay calm, can't find him if you're frustrated."
"Staying calm won't help you." Red said as if he can read Chrome's mind, "Nobody can't against me." Red said as reappeared and backhanded Chrome's scarred cheek then disappearing again before Chrome can lay a hit, "Anybody who fought me ended up insane or..." Red appeared once again and tripped Chrome on his back, "Ended up dead!" Red then was about stab Chrome but was deflected by tripping Red and Chrome then did a cartwheel side flip intending to decapitate the jester with style only to disappear once again.
"You can't simply think that you can kill that easily." Red said, "Same goes for you, you mad bastard." Chrome retorted seemingly pissed about his target, "Aw, did I make you mad?" Red said taunting him, Chrome decided to find him by using his necklace, he unsheathe the left sword and held tightly on his bone-tooth necklace. The aura of Red making him visible as Chrome charges at him.
"What?!" Red exclaimed, "You can't find me while I'm invisible!" Red dodges every strike Chrome was giving, "Pissing purple from your body gave it away." Chrome said as he thrusts his sword which Red dodged but wasn't able to dodge Chrome's roundhouse kick making Red visible again and slide to the direction of the kick. Chrome pocketed his necklace back and unsheathes his left sword again, "Aw, did I hurt you?"
"Burn in hell." the jester sneered, "After you." Chrome retorted making Red lunge towards him daggers poised to strike. Chrome then readied his swords for the inevitable clashing of blades, "Jeez, you said you're a magician but you're acting like a berserk monkey." Chrome could only chuckle making Red angry but then calmed down and had a malicious grin behind his mask. Red then disappeared and reappeared with a lot of clones of himself
"Can you find the right one?" Red said with a manic laugh, "You'll be dead before you find me!" the clones then started to charge at Chrome, he can't find any possible way to live out of this so desperate times comes desperate measures, "Well master, I'll have to break my promise." Chrome said as he wore the bone-tooth necklace he then started sprouting a wolf's ears on his head and a wolf's tail on his rear also his fangs growing larger.
"What?!" Red exclaimed shocked, "Outnumbering isn't such a great thing if you ask me." Chrome said as his attacks becomes even more brutal and faster as he's able to amputate the limbs of the clones. Chrome's necklace came from a druid who blessed his wolf companion. The said wolf companion died and the druid mourned for his companion's death so he took the wolf's tooth and half-cursed and half-blessed it. The curse/blessing will give the wearer enhance capabilities of wolves but will have extreme blood lust thus making it both a curse and a blessing. How did it get the ability to make the holder/wearer see aura? The Hunter's enchanted it. Red hid behind one of the pillar's trying to formulate a plan against Chrome, when he didn't hear the constant sound of clashing blades, he took a peek and saw the barrel of a gun in front of him.
"Whoop!" Red exclaimed as he took cover once again avoiding the gun's fire in a millisecond. Red ran from column to column dodging Chrome's constant firing. When Red was at the last column, Chrome walked closer and suddenly confronted Red, who wasn't there at all. Taking the mad jester's place was a box with a crank on the side. The crank suddenly started moving in a circular motion accompanied by a child's music. When the music stopped a stick of dynamite and a note came out reading "Happy New Years!" Chrome suddenly threw it away but it exploded and Chrome was near the radius, damaging nothing but knocking him out cold. Red appeared once again and had a sinister grin behind his mask.
"Hehehe, The plan failed but I did get another soul to torture. Hohoho." Red then slung the unconscious Chrome on his shoulders and then the gang appeared in front of the door, "Too late slowpokes!" Red said to them as he disappears in a cloud of smoke, when the smoke cleared Red nor Chrome was there any longer and the wisps disappeared making the room darker than before.
"Chrome!" Grace and Stella said as they ran towards a window looking for the mad jester and the unconscious Chrome, "We need to find him." Andr said as she comforts the two.
"Let's go then!" Corona said, "We don't have time to waste!" she was stopped by Motor just appearing at the scene, "We can't go looking for him blindly."
"Then what else can we do? Huh?!" Grace asked anger evident on her tone, "I'm just saying that we can't search for him like a blind man on the streets, we need to get a clue to where that clown took Chrome." while the two were bickering Rexir was investigating the explosion and found something interesting.
"Motor." Rexir said trying to get his attention which failed. "Motor!" Rexir said even louder which Motor still didn't heard, "MOTOR!" he finally shouted and finally took Motor's attention, Rexir ushered him closer and Motor's eyes went as wide as a saucer as he noticed what Rexir was holding, "Is that a Blood Crest?!" Motor then suddenly grabbed it from Rexir's hands and examined it. The Blood Crest looks like black and red shield badge with a maroon colored droplet in the middle and has ripples underneath it giving the impression that it's dropping.
"It is!" Motor exclaimed happily, "I know where that clown took Chrome to!" Motor then hurriedly went out of the room ,"Hurry we need to prepare!" they then went out of the castle and their first destination is Motor's home to prepare for to invade a mercenary group's one of their many headquarters. While on top of the chapel's towers, a very young lad was perched on top and watched the entire scene.
"Tch! I was too late." he said as he disappears on top of another roof top and began running from roof to roof, "I better hurry before he becomes a shell of himself!"
Meanwhile, Chrome was in a neat dungeon, he was stripped of his armor and clothing only leaving him bare chested and a prisoner's ragged pants as his wrists; chained to the walls behind him. His stuff was placed neatly on one of the corners of the room; he woke up and noticed that Red was sitting on a box grinding his dagger on the grindstone.
"So, you're awake." Red said as he stops and inspects the sharpness of his dagger, he then threw it at Chrome barely missing his head by an inch, "What do you want you psychopath?!"
"Hohoho, what do I want?" Red asked as he went closer to Chrome, "I'm here to torture you unt-" Red was interrupted by a woman's voice, "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Hm?" Red could only groan in annoyance, "Not know Ambrosia!"
"Rude as ever Red." the woman came out from the dark doorway revealing, a woman that looked like she's in her early 30's, pale white skin, and wore a red skimpy dress with long sleeves, showing her shoulders, showing a fair amount of her G-cup cleavage, her dress also showing her hourglass figure, her belly and her legs. She also has black lipstick and eye shadow on, her hair was jet black and reaches down to her waist, her accessory was a bat colored black dangling down on both of her ears "Well she's horrifyingly attractive." Chrome thought.
"What do you want Ambrosia?" Red said his tone hinting annoyance, "I want to have fun with him." the woman known as Ambrosia said in a sultry tone, "You can't have him, vampire! He's not yours to seduce!" Red said anger lacing his tone, "Vampire?! Seduce?! To hell with this bloody place!" Chrome was mentally panicking but being stoic up front. The two foes bickered with each other as Chrome was trying to think of a way to get out of here.
"Fine!" Red finally said stopping the argument, "You can have him... after I'm done with him." Ambrosia folded her arms together and shifted her weight to her right leg, "Okay but keep. Him. Alive." Ambrosia said stressing the point which Red just shrugged and went closer to Chrome. While that was happening Ambrosia exited out of the room.
"Now, where were we?" Red said, holding his dagger near Chrome, "Oh right, about to torture you."
"Can't we talk this out? Hm?" Chrome said delaying the inevitable, "No." Red deadpanned as he was about to make a cut on Chrome's shoulders, "Wait!" Red could only groan in annoyance, "What?!" Chrome then pointed behind Red, "Who's that?" Chrome asked, triggering Red to look behind him only to be the receiving end of a sonic punch knocking him out and making him fly and hit a table. The savior immediately cut the chains that was holding Chrome with an intricately design dagger.
"Thanks. What's your name?" Chrome said as he rubs his wrist, "Not now, we got to go before he wakes up." The savior was wearing a white t-shirt with a green and white checkered hoodie with his hood over his head, blue jeans, and green and white checkered shoes underneath the hood you can see his red eyes. Chrome went to the corner and wore his gear immediately and was now armed once again, "Let's go then." they then ran through the dark doorway to reveal a long staircase going up. Once they reached the top of the stairs they were then met with the color red infested insides of a mansion, they then started to run out but was stopped.
"Well aren't you two such naughty boys." Ambrosia floated down, Chrome and the stranger was backing away slowly from her, "You need to be punish for that kind of behavior." she then clapped her hands as a mutant zombie came down the roof and, "Please get fetch them for me." the mutant zombie roared and charged after the two and grabbed Chrome and roared at his face.
"Have you ever considered breath mints before in your life erm... undeath?"

Is this a cliffhanger to you? I hope it is, well anyways Chrome was taken hostage and was half-saved by a stranger, who is this stranger? We will never know! (unless you're me or you're the sender of the OC)
