Epilogue

Unknown

A dark haired woman walked up to the gate. She couldn't have been more than twenty-two at the most. From the way the woman held herself she seemed nineteen. She wore black pants, a black button down long sleeved shirt, boots that came a bit past her ankles, and dark sun glasses over her eyes. The woman pulled a key from her pocket and unlocked the gate and walked in, closing it shut behind her.

You must be thinking, why someone would use a key when you can simply type the passcode in to unlock the gate. Well some people are used to tradition. This woman didn't know the passcode, and didn't realize that there was one, so she used her key.

The woman, or really, girl, strode up to the door of the towering mansion and walked in. A few looked up, but no one said a thing. It wasn't unusual for people to just walk in, uninvited. They continued to let this strange girl let her find her way to whatever it was she was looking for. No one offered to help her. The girl expected as much from these people. She wasn't surprised by their attitude either. The girl grew up with these kind of people, she glared at them, but not one of the kids in the house took notice.

The stranger found her way to the second floor and entered a study in the middle of a long hallway. She didn't knock, but then again, it wasn't in her nature to. The occupant didn't look up from his book when this mysterious girl entered his study.

"I see you still haven't learned to knock. I would have thought that when your mother put you under her curse that you would have learned some manners at least," the dark haired boy at the desk said. He smirked at her.

"You shouldn't be talking. If you wanted me to have manners, you should have raised me to be more polite."

"You are here for a reason, and I don't think that it is because you wanted to say hello to the person you have known your entire life."

"I have a right to know what exactly is going on. My mother, how loosely I use that term with that horrible woman, tried to take over the minds of two people I hold closely to my heart. I want to know why they both freaked out so much that they had to flee the country!" the girl shouted.

"The young girl that your mother tried to put under control is the Avarice."

"What?" the girl whispered.

"I am afraid that our search is completed, but we had planned on moving her in another few weeks, originally. But things had come up to push the date further ahead."

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!" the girl shouted.

"You were unable to reach, seeing that you couldn't remember anything from your past. I couldn't waltz up to you and tell you what was going on. It was too risky. And with your mother sneaking around all the time prevented me from telling you."

"Are you in the least bit sorry for you actions?"

"Not really. You need to understand my reasoning."

"I understand that you are trying to sell me a load of crap, but at least I know that you are more sincere than mother and the man she forced me to marry."

"Do you want to go and find them?"

"Eventually. Right now, I think I have some things that I need to settle with what's left with my family." The girl didn't meet the boy's eyes.

"You wish to come home, don't you Zyla?" The boy asked her. She looked at the boy.

"Yes, Father. More than anything else in the world."

"You came here for two reasons, to find out what is going on and to ask to and live with me again. Did you already leave your husband and daughter?"

"I left the papers on the table with my signatures on all of them. They weren't up when I left this morning. They probably haven't even realized that I am gone."

"Well, then. If you are so sure of this, then, you know where your room is, go get unpacked." The teenaged boy smiled at his daughter.

"Thank you Daddy!" The girl squealed.

"Anything for you, Samantha Zyla Black."

"I'd do anything for you, Daddy, or should I say, Jesse Black."

Was it good? Was it terrible? Was it not what you were expecting? Did I surprise you? Let's don't worry, that isn't all of it. The second story should be out within the next few days, or weeks. It isn't titled yet. Please tell me what you think! I really had fun writing this chapter. I know that I and terrible at third person. Please review! –Delta
