A.N. I have no excuse for the gap of time between chapters but for school work and general anxiety about life. Here is a new chapter, I hope you all enjoy it because it was a pain in the ass to write. I will try to update more often as the summer break is starting up now and I will have possibly more free time, or at the very least I will be having far less tests.
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Ghost Hunt. If I did harry woulda Sparta kicked Voldemort off of the astronomy tower.

Severus was shocked, to say the least, that this boy was able to put to rest one of the larger fears he had about this meeting.
"I see, then if you all do not mind, I will move right into it then shall I?"
At the nods from all gathered Snape began to explain to them the world of magic, who Harry was and what they should expect to happen if they decided to send their children to Hogwarts.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*HPGH~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"So, let me get this straight, our kids have to go to this magic school in England, of all places, to learn how to control their magic otherwise the world will explode? More or less right?" Monk questioned with a look of shock on his face and a worried crease to his forehead.
"I don't think the world will explode dad, just the office," Hana smiled and turned around to face where her father was sitting on the couch. Harry just rolled his eyes at his friend and flicked her arm, ducking under a pillow that she threw at his head.
The adults in the room, excluding Snape and Naru, chuckled at the antics of the two children.
"Are there not any other schools that they could go to? Say one closer to home?" Ayako piped up here, giving Snape a critical look. "How will our children get to and from the school, will the school reimburse us travel expenses or is there a setup for international students?"
Snape blinked in shock at the redheaded woman. He had never expected the large group to be this calm about the situation, even if they were self-proclaimed ghost hunters, most parents would be having major freak outs at this point.
"Yes there is a set up in place for international students. The Ministry of Magic is always willing to extend the olive branch out to include any international students that wish to attend Hogwarts. We have portkeys available to any and all who have need of them. Hogwarts also offers to allow the students to stay over winter and Easter holidays," Snape explained. "The year starts on September first and students depart from London's King's Cross Station, Platform nine and three quarters. The platform is accessed by an illusionary barrier located between platforms nine and ten. Of course if you wised to send your children to Hogwarts we would give you a tour of Diagon Alley and how you are to access the platform."
Naru had a frown on his face, as usual, as he thought over what they had been told. Mai had a similar look on her face as she studied the strange man before her. The rest of the adults had similar looks as well. The children, however, looked rather excited about the whole situation. Gene was practically bouncing up and down where he sat, his sister looking similarly excited.
Harry and Hana stared down at their letters, Harry studying the seal on the back of his and Hana with hers out in her hands, looking at the letter enclosed.
"I have a question," Hana piped up after the silence had stretched out too long for her tastes. "What exactly is a portkey, and why can't you just pay for an airplane ticket?" She looked at the strange man sat before them square in the face, not backing down from him as he scowled slightly, a move that would send most of his students running for the hills.
"A portkey is a magical device that can look like anything. It is usually something like an old boot or a discarded napkin, they are used to transport a person from point A to point B," the surly man explained. "The magical world does not have much contact with the Muggle world and so muggle technological advances are not very well known…also portkeys tend to get a person where they are going much faster than air travel does."
Hana nodded, satisfied with the answer she had gotten. "That explanation makes sense, thank you."
Ayako looked to her husband during the exchange between their daughter and Professor Snape and raised her eyebrow in a silent question. Monk's only response was to raise an eyebrow of his own, returning his wife's look in equal measure. Mai and Naru were having a similar exchange where they were sitting. The children, being able to pick up on the silent exchange between their parents turned their attention from the letters and the strange man towards their parents. Their eyes shone with a strange sense of anxiety and anxiousness, all four of them uncharacteristically quiet as they waited for the decision from the adults.
"Hana/Harry will go to Hogwarts," all four sets of parents spoke up at the same time in perfect synchronization. Mai and Ayako shot each other a look before bursting into laughter while their husbands looked at each other incredulously.

Diagon Alley saw a strange assortment of people quite often, but most people still stopped to stare at the strange assortment of people that had just entered the alley. It was a fairly large group of people that included eight adults and four children, though only two of the children looked old enough to be starting school. The largeness of the group wasn't even the strangest part of the situation, no the strangest part of the situation was that Professor Snape, the infamous surly bat of the dungeons was the one that was leading the group around. Even odder was that one of the men in the group was matching his scowl with one of his own, and were it not for very noticeable differences most people probably would think them to be related.
"We will be going to Gringotts Bank first, there you can access the trust vault that was left for your son, and you can exchange some money for the girl as well," Snape spoke softly, pitching his voice so that the parents of the children in his group would be able to hear him, but no one else would.
"That is acceptable," Naru was the one to speak up, his voice equally soft, though he did shoot a glare at a family of white blonds that were sneering at them. The family quickly looked away at the look, falling prey to the glare of the Great Narcissist Naru.
Snape made no reply to Naru, though he did notice the Malfoy family looking away in defeat from the glare of a Muggle man, and had to work hard to hide his amusement at the situation. Instead of the reply he walked towards the bank, leading the rather large group inside and to a teller. Harry and Hana stood on tiptoes to try and see over the large desk at what the creature behind it was doing while Snape simply fished a small golden key out of his pocket and silently placed it down on the countertop. The strange creature looked up from where he was weighing a large pile of rubies and lifted a single eyebrow at the key before looking at the professor and the large group with him. The small creature leaned over the desk to look at the children. Emiko and Gene hid behind Harry and Hana at the slight glare on the face of the rather intimidating creature.
"Very well," the creature spoke in a gravelly voice that sounded more than a bit intimidating, "Griphook!" At the call another creature scurried forwards, this one looking nearly indistinguishable from the first one, the only difference being in the length of his rather large looking ears and the color of his tie. "The boy will be going down to his vault, will that be all of your business with us today?" The creature, Goblin, turned back to the group of humans with a slight sneer on his face, already wanting to dismiss this large and really rather absurd looking group of muggles.
"No, we must exchange pound sterling to galleons for the girl," Snape spoke to the goblin at the teller's desk with a matching sneer, placing a stack of bills on the desk, everyone having previously decided that it would be best to let the surly man deal with most things to do with the wizarding world.
"Very well," the goblin snatched the wad of cash from his desk and ruffled through some drawers to the side of his desk, pulling out a bag that when moved clinked and jingled with the unmistakable sound of coins. "Griphook, take the boy and his guardians to his vault," the goblin growled out at the one he had called up, shoving the bag at Snape rather rudely.
"Follow me please," Griphook spoke with a slightly nasally sounding voice, gesturing for the group to follow him to one of the doors lining the sides of the hall.

A.N. OK, that's where I'm going to leave it for now, sorry about the delay the school thing killed me, well that and writer's block is a thing. I will try to be better about updates, but there are no real guarantees as I still have work and I applied for a different job recently that if I get it will mean less hours to write. I will try my best to update though.
