Chapter 14

Hinata walked slowly in the deserted halls , wondering how on earth did she end up stuck in such situation , she was supposed to be learning how to stop an attacker from taking her down from behind , but here she was, showing around this huge building to the silent transfer student behind her

'Maybe he's just shy' thought Hinata

"So Gaara-san , are you happy with your new High school?" said Hinata trying to start a conversation

No response

When Hinata turned around to make sure he was still following her, she finally understood he wasn't shy at all , as he gave her a why-the-hell-are-you-talking-to-me look , it was more of a dead cold glare then a look.

Great..

"so this is the cafeteria, it's empty for now, but it will turn into a huge fair once it's lunch time, same for the halls" said Hinata with a smile , but she got no change on the boy's emotionless facial expression

They continued the guided tour , with Hinata being friendly , well it was in her nature, she would always be friendly even to someone who seemed cold hearted and that had absolutely no interest in being her friend , and besides Hinata never judged a book by its cover.

And it was some intimidating cover, thought Hinata , with his strong jaw, his red like fire hair and his aquamarine intense eyes . She also noticed some piercings in his right ear and his 'love' tattoo on the side of his forehead. Any girl good tell he'll be classed in the bad boy category with such a badass look, but it wasn't Hinata's type to categorize people.

"And the Dojo?" said the 'bad boy' pulling Hinata from her thoughts

"heh?" said Hinata he had caught her out of surprise

"Where's the dojo?" he said with his cold voice , it was obvious he was annoyed

"emm…ex-excuse me I wasn't focusing…this way" said Hinata gulping , it seems like she will be having a hard time avoiding him after all.

This is really not helping

'Why am I even nervous? It's just Sasuke' thought Hinata

'it's never just Sasuke , it's Sasuke Uchiha, the one and only, the one hunting your dreams lately' said her subconscious ,if it could materialize right know , she was sure she'll see her smirking or maybe it's a he , Hinata didn't care much but it interfered too often these past days .

Shaking her head from the thoughts, she focused her gaze at the dojo's door , about two minutes from where they were standing, it wasn't supposed to take that long but the crowd will slow them down

Wait what?..

Hinata was too lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear the bell ringing a few minutes ago, Sasuke is such a distraction this days , she noted that even her best friend said she was zoning out too often, he was just too confusing..

'And too sexy!' mocked her subconscious again

'no , not at all' thought Hinata blushing, shaking her head again she looked at the boy next to her

"so you're interested in material arts?" asked Hinata to distract herself from her disturbing thoughts

No response

"we have one of the best teams in the country" said Hinata smiling

"I know" said Gaara with a cold voice

"you do?" asked Hinata

"that's why I transferred , there was no one left to beat in my old school" said Gaara

"oh" said Hinata with a gulp , another troublemaker

They both stood in front of the door , Hinata took a deep breath and opened it , she was right the lesson was over and the fighting team was there , she saw her cousin in the corner pretending to listen to lee , Kiba a few steps away doing some pushups , some other guys she didn't know were laughing

"oy, Hinata!" said Naruto approaching her with a grin

"hello, Naruto-kun" said Hinata blushing , he would always have that effect on her , the feeling he'd give her, like the sun was burning in her stomach if that made sense, well it did to her, it was like living a teenage dream

"who's that? Is that your boyfriend?" asked Naruto with a curious look

"w-what? No" said Hinata her face red

"That's good" said Naruto grinning , for a brief moment Hinata's face lightened up

Does it mean he's interested in me?

"Because Kiba will be so pissed out if he was" finished Naruto

"oh"said Hinata with disappointment "why would he?"

"nevermind Naruto , you know he talk non sense sometimes" said Kiba coming from behind with a nervous smile

"Bullshit! everybody knows you li…hnnnmmmmph" said Naruto before being shut by Kiba who put his hand over his mouth

"so who's that?" asked Kiba looking at the red headed boy who looked annoyed

"That's Gaara-san , he's knew here and he'll be joining the team" answered Hinata with a genuine smile

"Really?" asked Naruto

"Yes, if you need anything Gaara-san just ask me, good luck" said Hinata turning around to leave

"Not so fast Hyuga" said the smirking guy leaning against the wall, he assisted to the encounter since it beginning

Hinata closed her eyes took a deep breath then turned around

"I never thought you'll quit" said Sasuke smirking

"I didn't, I was busy showing Gaara-san around" said Hinata biting the inside of her cheek

"for two hours?"asked Sasuke raising an eyebrow

"I was with Sakura before that" said Hinata looking at her feet , this is why she wanted to avoid him to avoid awkward situations like this one

"so you were playing truant" said Sasuke taking a few steps closer, he noticed the girls took a few steps back

"I was late…so" said Hinata playing with her fingers nervously

"Leave her alone already, Sasuke you're such a control freak" said Naruto

"Shut up dope" said Sasuke glaring at his friend who rolled his eyes

"I'm s-sorry but i-I've got to go" Said Hinata she was heading toward the door but Sasuke blocked her way

Damn he's fast..

"I can't let you stop the progress of the group so I'll train you later" said Sasuke

"em?"

"A private session" finished Sasuke with a smirk

"A…p-private…session?" said Hinata face red as she recalled her dream of last night

"Meet me at the akatsuki training place" said Sasuke

"Oh"

"yes, I know you followed me the other day , Itachi isn't good at keeping secrets you know" said Sasuke

"at six" he said putting his hand in his pocket

"ok, sex is good.. I meant SIX…. is good….six o'clock… I've got to go" said Hinata her face's redness matching gaara's hair, she exited the dojo quickly leaving the Uchiha fighting his smile

"The Akatsuki training place! you refused to show me where it was, saying it was secret" screamed Naruto at his friend, who only rolled his eyes at him and walked away, as he passed by him he felt the glare of the new stranger at him , so he did what he would usually do, he glared back.

Hinata walked her way home, wondering when did she become such an awkward person? Maybe she was born awkward, or maybe it was the Sasuke effect.

What kind of effect makes you mix up six with sex?

The sexy dream effect. Or is it the sexy Sasuke effect?

Shaking her heads from her thoughts, Hinata opened the door of her Hyuga mansion , but before she could slip inside

"I'm still waiting for the thank you card" stated Itachi Uchiha surprising the girl, who closed the door with a smile

"Thank you for being such a stalker" said Hinata joking

"I thought I was a womanizer?"

"You are a womanizer with an incurable stalking tendency, and I'm very grateful you are" said Hinata walking toward him

"You know what I'm grateful for?" asked Itachi

"what?" said the blunette

"You being good at giving advices , because I'm totally lost in the girls topic" said Itachi, he may be a posed young man that can discus for hours the meaning of life, but when it comes to the heart matters he wasn't really qualified despite all his many, many relationships ; if you consider a one night stand a relationship

"Finally , I thought you'd never ask" said Hinata humoring , she was feeling particularly funny today

"Don't get so excited it's not for me, it's for my..Friend" said Itachi

"He must be some important friend since you're asking for him" said Hinata

"Yep, we are particularly brothers" said Itachi

"So this friend like this girl who only has eyes for his best friend , so instead of asking the girl out he was mean to her" started Itachi

"Why would you be mean to the girl you like?" asked Hinata

"I don't know, it's the way boys function, so he wants to fix things but he also can't ask her out since she's in love with his best friend , add to the equation that some other guy wants to ask the same girl out and that he got all his chances, what should he do?" finished Itachi

"Well that's one messed up situation" commented Hinata

"Tell me about it" said Itachi

"Does the best friend like the girl back?" asked Hinata still not able to make the connection

"Let's say it's a no" responded Itachi

"if he doesn't than sooner or later the girl is going to find out, you're friend needs to make sure he'll be there to catch her when she falls, he first need to earn her trust back , tell him to start with first basis; to be her friend" said Hinata taping her chin with her finger

"And for the other guy?" asked Itachi

"Well let's just hope he does his first move before the girl gets heartbroken, that way she'll shut him down because she's still in love with the best friend, in that same time you're friend will be supporting her as a friend, so even if the guy try to win the girl after she gets heartbroken , he won't have as many chances as your friend since he already started scoring before the game was on, a few weeks after the breakup he makes his first move and checkmate" finished Hinata with a smile , proud of her over analyzing mind

"Well played" said Itachi raising his eyebrows

"All from the romance novels" said Hinata grinning

"That's another mystery I couldn't solve , how come you hate romance movies but like to read them?" asked Itachi

"Now that you mention it , I have no idea" answered the girl smiling, her favorite womanizer sure knew how to cheer her up and distract her from all the prickly topics turning her head into a battlefield

"Thank you Hinata, you saved me from looking like a fool in front of Sa…my friend" said Itachi

"you're welcome , wish your friend a good luck" said Hinata before walking away

"sure" said Itachi walking his way toward his house as well

As he entered his living room he grabbed his phone and called his brother who answered after two rings he must be expecting his call

"so?" asked Sasuke

"I've got your answer from an expert" said Itachi turning on the TV

"I told you it's not for me it's for Naruto" said Sasuke slightly annoyed

"she says he needs to cool down and get down to the friendzone at least for now" answered Itachi

"Hinata said that?" asked Sasuke raising an eyebrow

"not those exact words… she thinks that you're going to break Haruno-san's heart , so Naruto has to provide the support of a friend , he'll do a come back later and BAM the girl is begging for him" said Itachi standing up and walking around the room

"Nice, you made sure you didn't tell her it was an advice for Naruto right?" asked Sasuke

"of course I don't want her getting hurt, I still have no idea why I'm helping him be with another girl" said Itachi with a sigh

"because you own me one" answered Sasuke

"but why are you helping him?" asked Itachi

"because it makes one least fangirl for me" lied Sasuke , his brother had no idea that this precious advice was for him and what better source than the first person concerned with the situation; the girl herself

"and?" asked Itachi

"I deserve some peace and Naruto deserves to be happy" finished Sasuke, it was partially true since it was a win win situation

"Hinata deserves to be happy too" said Itachi sighting again

"no she deserves someone better than that clueless dope" said Sasuke before hanging up. But do I deserve her?

'be friend..easier said than done' thought Sasuke
