It was until she put the other chapter up, did she notice...SHE FORGOT THE REST OF THE DAMN OMAKE!
Obi: U idiot.
I know, I should die, my stupidity knows no bounds. I guess it could count as a cliffhanger. Right?
*Angry glares*
Senpai, pls.
Obi: They don't want your sorry excuses, baka. They want your chapter.
Yeah. They just like me for mah chapters. Geez, that's sounds mean.
Obi: Fool. e.e
Whateva, I do wut I want.
"Oi...Onna-san...Onna-san~...OI!"
Ringo shot up hitting whatever had called her name in the forehead with hers. "Owwwies!" A boy hollered in pain, Ringo ebbed the pain away with a little bit of Kyuubi-chakra. She rubbed her eyes to get used to the morning light, a boy no older than Naruto was rolling on the floor holding his forehead with prin-prick tears in the corners of his eyes a white dog was on the ground by him whimpering in sympathy for his friend. "G-gomenasai! Are you okay?!" Ringo had wanted to use Medical Ninjutsu, but since she read the books about healing and things but she never actually had time to practice her chakra control or medical jutsu. After all, she wouldn't want to hurt anyone. Ringo kneeled down to the boy on the ground and pulled his hands away from his forehead she slowly rubbed the heel of her hand to her forehead gently and smiled kindly.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't aware of you...where am I? last time I knew I was walking away from my house and searching around for a clearing to look at the stars..." The brown haired child shook his unruly mop of hair and gave a fanged grin, "It's okay! 'M Kiba! And this-" he lifted the white dog with brown ears "-is Akamaru! Your far away from home lady. This is Inuzuka land! You should really happy I found you!" Kiba shouted as he sat up and put Akamaru in his lap, "Oh? Why is that?" Was there something about the Inuzuka clan unknown? Could it be note worthy? "Because Inuzuka men are terri-terry-" "Territorial?" "-Yeah! And they think they own women! But my mama and Nee-chan beat them with a stick!" Ringo laughed, but in relief and the hilarity about grown men getting the tar beaten out of them by a clan head who happen to be a woman and her nine year old daughter.
"Then I should be grateful to you, Kiba-kun. How about I make you some breakfast...what time is it?"
"Ah...it's seven." Ringo froze, slowly did she try to remember her schedule, oh! Work was at eight! She could easily get dressed and cook, unless Tsu-baba had already made food...no! Tsu-baba could not cook to save anyone's life. She could burn water. Ringo was the only one in the house who cooked, it was an unwritten law. She cooked, Bakakashi did laundry, Yama-nii cleaned, Naru-chan did whatever he felt like doing, either helping Ringo in the kitchen or being outside with Kakashi-nii. The blonde-red head nodded and stood up, "Come on, let's go make you and I some breakfast, maybe my little brother is awake..." Ringo tapped a finger to her chin.
What would be for breakfast? She could make pancakes from scratch, or she could just make bacon and eggs...meh, they had a guest. In the Uzumaki house, if you have a guest, you go all out. "Eh?! A little brother? How old is he? What's he like? What's his name?" Ringo was a little bit apprehensive about telling Kiba, there is no denying the Inuzuka has a loud mouth. "Well, I'm Uzumaki Ringo. My Otouto is Uzumaki Naruto. He's very shy at first, but then if you know him well, he gets all hyper and excited. You become part of the family after that." Kiba knew that name from somewhere...Ah! Several Inuzuka men were talking about Naruto and his unfair life style. Kiba however only saw Naruto Uzumaki from afar he never knew he had an older sister, a cute one at that, his declares of being Hokage never went on deaf ears when it came to Kiba, he didn't know about anyone else, he actually believed the Uzumaki could become Hokage one day.
An annoyingly loud Hokage.
They were walking along the path back to the Uzumaki house, Apparently they were bordering the Hyuuga, Nara, and Akimichi lands. To the far south was the Uchiha land, an easy layout for a simple girl. She could remember it easily, and if she could, she might remember the layout like the back of her hand! Exploring had always been on of her favorite hobbies back at the orphanage! Plus it was a good way to get away from the nuns and one priest that worked, since many girls were jealous of her 'warm oceanic blue eyes with exotic amethyst mixed with happiness that could bring the most heaviest of hearts joy' and 'luscious blonde hair with bright crimson ends that was a natural boy magnet'. She couldn't see it, apparently she had quiet the following of males back in the dimension.
She had also gained a fan club here as well. Boy and girls alike! Apparently she was great with children, could cook like a chef-they had been sneaking around the house smelling her food! The nerve!-and looked like a princess out of a fairytale dream! Several boys had already taken to calling her their 'Exotic sunflower princess with cherry ends that has a majestic singing voice!' Apparently they had also been around when she was singing to Naruto as well. Since no of them were actual ninja yet, Itachi had written them off as nuisances. Don't get him wrong, he would rather put Ringo on lock down and keep her to himself. He tried on time, Ringo had smacked him upside the head and warned him what would happen if he tried again, who would have thought a simple frying pan could do that! Apparently she had given ideas to Ibiki, he had later applied them to an interrogation later that evening and had found where an international crime boss was hiding. Apparently the new places to hide would be deep freezers that had a secret compartment that lead into the basement.
It was quite clever, but not when the idiot forgot to put the panel on right.
Like Ringo said, "Only two things are infinite...the universe...and human stupidity." true to that testamate, said crime boss was now in Ibiki's care...
When they walked in the front door, Ringo was tackled into a hug from a flying blonde mass. With a loud cry of "NEE-CHAN! YOU'RE BACK!" made little Kiba flinch and back up into the door frame, "Yes, yes. I missed you to Naruto, oh! We have a guest! His name is Inuzuka Kiba! He's gonna be loining us for breakfast!"
Naruto felt several emotions. Fear, excitement, happiness, curiosity, and possessiveness. He was indeed afraid that Kiba would tell the villagers where he and his Nee-chan lived, meaning he would get a mob-beating and she would probably die. Naruto didn't want that. At all. The orange lover gave a small shy smile and bowed to the newcomer, Kiba grinned a doglike grin and bowed back, Naruto took in the appearance of this 'Inuzuka Kiba'. He had chocolaty brown floppy hair that swooshed in his eyes (like nee-chan) and curled at the ends (not like nee-chan), tan, more so than his, skin, his eyes were...interesting. They were silted, and dark brown, Naruto thought it was cool he was wearing tan capris with ninja sandals and a long-sleeve shirt. A small white puppy was sitting on top his head. Staring at Naruto with interest. While he was doing this Kiba took in Naruto's appearance. Tan skin, sunny blond hair, azure eyes that seemed endless, granted he was short, a little too short for their age.
All in all, Kiba thought this 'boy' was a 'girl'. And this 'girl' needed to be protected by Kiba! Big brother Kiba to the rescue!
"Ohayo Naruto-chan!" Naruto's eye twitched, he knew he was pretty for a boy, but Nee-chan had told him when he grew up he would look more like a boy! The blond BOY turned to Ringo, and she was shaking in laughter! How dare she laugh at his irritation! 'You do look like a girl at this age...remember small one, you haven't stopped growing yet, your sister has in height...she still needs to develop her body more. Height wise, she's done. Something stunted her growth at a young age.' Kyuubi said, chuckling at the thought of an older Ringo getting mad at her children for being taller than she. "Haha. I'm a boy. Nee-chan you shouldn't be laughing...a certain fox said you were finished getting tall." Ringo's eyebrow ticked as she narrowed her eyes at Naruto, Kiba looked dumbfounded, boys should not be pretty!
The sound of thunder in the distance caused Naruto to flinch and hide behind Ringo, Kiba looked confused. "Ringo-chan, why is Naruto-kun afraid of thunder?" Ringo smiled sadly, "Well...nothing good happens when it rains." Naruto, still shaken up, nodded into her thigh as an answer. "Nu-uh! After it rains flowers an' trees an' aminals get water! That's good right?" Kiba protested, at least, that's what Hana-neechan said. "He's got a point, gakis." Tsunade said coming up from the basement-apartment-thing, Jiraiya trailing behind her. "Oh yeah! Kiba! Met our Baa-chan and Jiraiya-Jiji!" Ringo said happily, "What do you mean by 'Baa-chan'?! I'm not that old!" Naruto laughed and Kiba laughed, once the little blond chibi saw that Kiba meant no harm he shuffled over and waved shyly. Kiba grinned and waved back, the onslaught of rain and thunder (which Naruto tuned out, Nee-chan had taught him how!) did nothing to damper the warm mood of this home, Kiba liked it.
At the Inuzuka compound when it rained, that meant you had to clean the kennels in the outside shed, he didn't like that shed, It was just four walls of concrete and metal baths with matching cages. He thought it to cold for the nin-dogs, to put it short, Kiba hated the kennels with all his might. It's why he let Akamaru sleep in the same room as him. Ringo ushered both boys into the livingroom to play with Naruto's accumulating toys while she fixed breakfast, "Hm, seven thirty...I'm cutting this job thing close." Ringo muttered as she cracked eggs and made a clone to take care of the rest, the real Ringo left to take a shower.
After Ringo's shower and the rain stopped, they -meaning Naruto, Kiba and Ringo- left to the Inuzuka compound for her job. "The rain came~ The rain came~! The dirt turned into mud! The rain came~ The rain came~! It's muddy and funny! The dirt turned into mud! And the mud I love!" Naruto sung as he splashed into a puddle the size of Ringo laying on her side. His neon orange rain boots splashed water onto Kiba's borrowed blue rain boots, Ringo followed them smiling with all the radiance in the sun. Kiba ran around both boy's ankles as the splashed muddy water, and mud all over themselves. 'Thank Kami for raincoats.' Ringo thought as she lead them to the Inuzuka compound, as much as she hated to admit it, she wanted to see Itachi at the moment, just to see him. She could faintly sense him up in the tree to the left, how? Jiraiya-Jiji had wanted her to be aware of her surroundings at all times, meaning she spreads a thin layer of chakra thirty feet in each direction of her body.
Cool, huh? Ringo hummed slowly under her breath as she watched both three year olds run around in the muddy ground, Kiba's bright blue raincoat had splashes of mud and water, in contrast to Naruto's bright orange, he had cut back on the color in his wardrobe and wore pastel and darker colors. He had been listening to Tsu-baba and Jirai-Jiji when they gave Ringo tips on how to dress like a ninja, he found he rather liked burnt orange and wearing the color in moderation opposed to wearing a freaking jumpsuit. Ringo looked up at the sky, Naruto, Kiba and Akamaru noticed her stop and they too looked up at the sky. The nine year old blonde began to talk, "Everybody wants happiness, nobody wants pain. But, you can't have a rainbow without a little rain."
Naruto and Kiba silently took in the words, she was right. For some reason Ringo always had something inspirational to say...unless she was with Jiraiya-Jiji. Like last Friday they had a fight about ketchup.
Last Friday
"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit," Jiraiya said as he held up a perfectly ripe tomato from Ringo's vegetable garden. Since today was 'harvest day' they all had to go out and pick fruits and vegetables. Much to Naruto's chagrin. "Wisdom is not putting it into a fruit salad." He finished, he turned to his godson, who was pulling -read: yanking- up potatoes that wouldn't budge, with a smirk plastered on his aged face. "Wow Jiraiya...that was pretty deep." Orochimaru sassed from the patch of carrots, "Philosophy is wondering if that means ketchup is a smoothie." The white haired man said as he placed another tomato into his basket, "...That was even deeper..." Tsunade sassed back from the orange tree where Shizune was by her side also picking oranges off the tree.
"Common Sense is knowing that ketchup isn't a damn smoothie you nasty." Ringo said as her and Itachi came around the house, fresh flowers and spices in their baskets. The adults all shared a laughed as Naruto giggled, Itachi shook his head in amusement, a small smirk on his face. "Alright! Who's up for pizza!?" Ringo shouted as Itachi took the basket of flowers from her hands, painted the upmost masculine picture known to man. A nine year old ANBU, mask strapped to his hip, a basket with a red ribbon around the rim of rosemary, and other spices in one hand. In the other a basket with a pink pastel ribbon around the rim of wild flowers.
Only men carry pink, dammit! Cheers of happiness rang out.
END
Neechan!" Kiba shouted as he jumped up and down, not paying attention when Naruto zipped to his sister side and hid behind her legs. Hana turned to the sound of her brother and ran to his side, checking him for nonexistent injuries and what not. "Take a message to mom and tell her I found Kiba and he's safe, chan!"
"Kiba!" A woman's voice barked (A/N: Haha, lol. U get it? No? Well I never!) the seven bodies turned to an angry feral looking woman, a very big dog-wolf-huskie by her side with an ear missing and an eyepatch. "Kaa-san! Meet Ringo-chan and Naruto! They said they consider me family now 'cause I was nice to Naruto!" He shouted with glee as he ran to his mother and hugged her legs, Ringo gave an awkward bow, Naruto as well, seeing as he didn't want to let go of his big sister. "Uzumaki Ringo? The girl who was gonna work for me today?" Tsume Inuzuka said with an eyebrow lifted in question. "H-hai, forgive me, last night I went wondering in the woods and fell asleep in a clearing, Kiba-kun found me and as a token of my gratitude I made him breakfast...we were suppose to leave after that but it rained, and Naruto's afraid of thunder so we stayed inside. I'm sorry." Ringo said as she apologized Naruto smiled shyly.
Naruto was hiding behind his sister's back when he felt something behind him, Ringo felt it was one of Hana's dogs so she allowed it to go past her defenses, the blond boy turned only to meet face to fac-er snout with Gin, one of Hana's three dogs. A surprised yelp left the lips of the small boy, as he backed into his Nee-chan's leg, almost tripping her. The dog took two steps forward Naruto slipped aroung Ringo and continued to back up. The giant dog lunged at the small boy, whose face had the same look of terror as his sister.
BOOOM! CLIFFY! WHATCHA GON' DO 'BOUT IT!?
Srry...i had caffeinated chocolate...We forgot the ending to the omake in the last chapter...so...yea. We're just gonna fix that.
Obi: 'we'
...fine. Me...Yes. You didn't remind me of the ending.
Obi: get on with it you twit.
Jerk.
Itachi felt several emotions, fear, nervousness, apprehension, anger, and malice. In the doorway stood three drunken Sannin and two top ANBU. All bearing family meanings to the two 'orphans' were angry, and no one likes angry families. Apperently the overbearing feeling of rage was unfeeling to the asleep Ringo. How he envied her right now, a murderous intent filled the room coming from the people that stood in the door way. Ringo, the ever so heavy sleeper was numb to the feeling and held on to Itachi tighter. Itachi let out a nervous chuckle, ANBU should never loose their cool, but he could make an acceptation here. Three angry Sannin, and two top ANBU? Yeah, he could afford to freak out a little.
Ringo shifted in bed, letting the ANBU member go. Said ANBU member leapt outside the open window and made a mad dash for town. That night no one in Konoha had gotten any sleep, les you were a child or heavy sleeper.
The actual Omake!
The calm summer breeze rustled chocolate brown hair, a gentle smile graced the rosebud lips of the small boy, an orphan. He knew there was more like him. Parentless. Lonely, sad, in pain. He wanted to become a ninja to protect his family, now that he had none, he didn't see the point. All he was doing was signing his death warrant. Not that he cared. He wanted it again. To be loved. Wanted, maybe needed. He didn't like the feeling of being unloved, no cared for orphans. A fact. No loved him. A lie. Far from where he was sitting, up in a tree, a silver haired jounin stared at him, he had fallen in love with the nameless beauty.
Kakashi could remember how long it had been when he first stared him, his chocolate brown hair was pulled up in a high-ponytail a scar marred his perfectly tan skin-oddly fitting-, his melted chocolate eyes held no luster, no shine. Kakashi hated that. He wanted his crush to have light in his eyes! Kakashi wanted him to be happy, even if it wasn't with him. Just to see his smile once would be enough. "Hey...come out...Your not hiding right." Kakashi was startled, he had hidden his chakra and made sure he was pushed back into the shadows!
Kakashi gave a silent sigh, but on the inside of his mind chibi Kakashi was jumping off the walls, screaming at him to jump the boy's bones. Kakashi was actually going to let his carnal desires lead him, NO! That's wrong!
Iruka gave a dull stare at the boy in front of him, he looked the same age, but his eyes, his posture, how his right hand was ready to quickly grab a kunai and chuck it hinted at him being a ninja. "Can I help you, Senpai?" Kakashi shivered involuntary. "Eh...ah...what's your name?" He tried to play it off casually, Iruka's lips quirked up at the ends. "Umino Iruka, chunin." He held a hand out for the silver haired mystery to shake. He heard alot about him from several squealing girls in his class last year. They always talked about how 'cool and sexy his hair was' or 'his muscular body at their age' and his personal favorite, 'if he has nin-dogs there is a good possibly he's good with children!'
Now that he was up close Iruka could prove the rumors true. His silver hair did indeed defy the laws of gravity, naturally of course. His one eye was a deep storm grey with shards of obsidian. His pale complexion was flawless, he himself was the true meaning of beauty. All in all, Hatake Kakashi was perfect. Iruka was not. He had scars, one physical, the rest were emotional. He was disgusted with himself, and he hated himself for it. He wasn't anything special. He was just...Iruka...the orphan...the unwanted...
Kakashi noticed Iruka's face darken, shadows covered his eyes, those eyes he had come to love. "Hey, what's wrong?" Kakashi inquired, Iruka absentmindedly told him his entire life story whilst sobbing. At the end Kakashi's heart was broken. True he had seen Iruka in pain, but not like this. It was too much for him, so Kakashi did what was natural. He embraced the chunin and buried his head in the soft hair, hell, it even smelled like chocolate. If it were possible, Kakashi had just fallen more in love. Iruka numbly grasped onto the green flak vest and sobbed into the silver haired boy's shoulder. Kakashi's little dolphin had been too alone for to long.
True, Kakashi had been alone for a long time too, but still! "I...ruka..." he whispered, said boy sniffled and lifted his head from the other's chest. "H-hai?"
"...nevermind." Kakashi tightened his hold on the small frame even closer to his chest. Iruka wanted to blush, to pull away, to hit Kakashi-senpai for comforting him. They were shinobi dammit! Slowly Iruka lifted his face, his wet chocolate brown eyes meeting stony grey, slowly he lifted his head to Kakashi's who leaned down.
A kiss.
Sweet, full of meaning and love.
From then on they were never separated. A love that transcended through time.
I had fun with that one...my cat won't stop staring at me...okay I think she's glaring now...halp...pls...
