chapter 14
"hey ave what's up?" she smiled when she heard that all too familiar voice "ruby! I didn't think you would pick up. How's everything? How's sapphire are you two still friends" ruby chuckled "well she's more than a friend now, me and her have been dating sense you left and there is something I need to tell you" the other line went quiet for a moment before the girl asked "what is it man?" ruby breathed deeply before saying "umm s-so you know how me and sapph have been dating?" she heard a "mmmhm you literally just told me" ruby chuckled "well I kind of uhhh g-got her pregnant" the other line went silent for almost a minute before saying "r-ruby how did you manage to get her pregnant.. well I know how it happened but I just don't understand, look I'm going to be in town in a few days and I have to talk to dad about moving back into my old room" ruby chuckled "why? Did you get kicked out of another collage?" the girl was quiet for a moment before saying "yeah" ruby rolled her eyes and smiled softly when sapphire walked out wondering where she was ruby put her arm around sapphire looking down when she said "come back to bed, will you rub my back?" ruby nodded and she chuckled "sorry sis but I have to go" ava laughed softly from the other line "go take care of your pregnant girl ruby" ruby rolled her eyes "she's barley even pregnant, but whatever man love you ava" sapphire looked up at her when she hung up the phone and quietly said "you where talking to ava?" ruby nodded with a smile, "yeah I told her about the pregnancy and she said she's going to be in town soon and may be moving back in." sapphire led ruby back to bed and got into the bed. Ruby pulled sapphire close and pulled her close rubbing her back lightly "we should go get some coffee and then go to your dads?" sapphire nodded getting up giggling when ruby pulled her back into bed kissing her, "baby do you want to do something?" sapphire blushed and smiled softly when ruby got on top of her kissing her neck, "my dad isn't home" sapphire blushed looking to the side "later, let's do it later and just be quiet about it. We have to go to my dads house and then your moms house, we have to meat up with ava and our friends" ruby nodded before saying "do you want to tell the gang when we have ultrasound pictures?" sapphire nodded "yeah, let's just tell our parents today and ava said she wanted to meet up with us today right?" ruby nodded getting up and helping sapphire up before handing her some clothes as she was getting dressed herself. They walked downstairs and got into ruby's car, they got to james' apartment and came up knocking on the door waiting for him to answer. Eventually he did and let them in, ruby and sapphire sat down on the couch and talked. Eventually they got to why they where there "so the real reason we came here is to tell you that sapphire is pregnant" james coughed as he was drinking his coffee "sapphires pregnant? How… well I know how but…" he sighed "ruby you better take care of this, and I don't think that you won't but you better not leave sapphire alone with this kid" ruby nodded "trust me james, I would never do that to your daughter. I can honestly say that I love your daughter more than words can describe" the old man nodded "ok, I approve of your choise and I approve that your keeping the child." Sapphire smiled softly and hugged her dad and re-joined ruby when she said "look I hate to say this but we have to go break the news to my mom and then we have to go meet with my sister ava" the taller man nodded "I didn't know you had a sister" ruby nodded "yeah, she's going to be back moving in soon" james nodded and gave the two a hug before they left. After half an hour of driving they got to scarlets apartment and were surprised to see har moving boxes back out of the house ruby jogged up to her mom "mom what are you doing? Why are you moving boxes of things out of your house?" the older woman looked up at her daughter a tear running down her face "I'm getting kicked out, they checked my credit again and said I don't have enough money for the apartment." Ruby pulled her into a hug "I'm so sorry mom, you could move back in to the house and just have your own house. Things have calmed down between you and dad" scarlet nodded wiping her tears away "you really think that's a good Idea? I mean ava's moving back in" ruby nodded and put her arm around sapphires shoulder "she's going to be getting her old room, you can take the guest bedroom" sapphire looked up at ruby and smiled catching up on what was going on. Sapphire softly said "ruby there was a reason why we're here" ruby nodded "oh yeah, mom we have something to tell you" scarlet smiled and nodded listening to ruby as she said "you may already know but sapphire is pregnant" scarlet smiled brightly and hugged ruby tightly before looking down at sapphire and giving her a gentle hug looking down at her with a soft smile "you two are going to make amazing parents" sapphire smiled and stepped back to ruby and checked the time "we have to go meet with ava" ruby nodded and looked at her mom "look mom as much as I would love to help you move we have to go meet up with ava" scarlet chuckled "you're a horrible liar, but go meet up with your sister" ruby nodded and left with sapphire meeting up with ava at a coffee shop. Ruby sat down with sapphire at the table that ava was at, the taller girl smiled at ruby then at sapphire "it's great to see you both" ruby nodded putting her arm around sapphires shoulders ava looked at sapphire "so you're preggers?" sapphire chuckled "yeah almost six weeks now" ava nodded and looked down at her stomach guessing it was not any bigger than it had been six weeks ago. Ruby talked with ava for about an hour and a half before sapphire softly mumbled "I'm tired" ruby chuckled "sorry ava but we have to leave, sapphire needs a nap" the taller girl nodded with a soft smile "I'm going to be there in a little bit, I have bring my things back from a friends place" ruby nodded and got up and grabbed sapphires hand as she got up before walking back to her car and driving back home.
