Hey guys this is imasmartie, with two more chapter. Thanks to that one person that supported me, anyways, I do not own Harry Potter or anything publically known.
Chapter 14
My eyes widened at what Draco had just done, he protected me. Shiela screamed, "Draco! Expellimarus!" Bellatrix was now disarmed, but Shiela had also blown her out of the door. She jumped down from the portrait, "Come on Hermione, let's go. We'll have to levitate his body in."
I couldn't find words, she put her fingers on his wrist, "His hearts still beating, we only have some time. Let's go!" She levitated him into the air, and we ran through the portrait, straight into the Room of Requirement.
When they saw the three of us they all cheered, when they saw Shiela and Draco, they gave us questioning looks. Harry just said, "They're on our side."
I saw Shiela run out of the room, still levitating Draco, probably going to the infirmary. I wanted to follow, but I stayed still. Harry said, "You all need to leave, Voldemort will be coming in soon and-"
Neville stopped him, "No way Harry, we're going to help you fight, until this war is over." I looked at all of them, they all nodded in agreement. He smiled, "Okay then, we need to find something lost, something hidden in the castle, it probably belonged to Ravenclaw. We don't know what exactly, any ideas?"
A small voice came from the back, "The lost diadem of Ravenclaw." They all turned towards that direction, it was Luna. "The lost diadem of Ravenclaw, Daddy's trying to duplicate it. If you want to know what it looks like, I can take you to the Ravenclaw common room, there's a statue of it."
He nodded, and followed her. I left the Room of Requirement, and headed my way to the infirmary. I saw Shiela headed my direction, "Hermione! I was coming to get you." I said, "How's Draco?"
She looked surprised, "Umm-" I stopped her, "I need to get this off my chest." I walked straight into the infirmary, and saw Draco's sleeping body.
Shiela said, "Hermione, I need to tell you-" I cut her off again, "It can wait for later, if I don't get this out, I never will. It will have to be now, we're going to go into battle."
She was about to say something, but I gave her a glare and she closed her mouth. I sat next to Draco's body, it was still. I felt tears down my face, I felt my heart beat rapidly, I finally managed to get the words I've been wanting to say.
"You know, you made me feel horrible for the last six years, called me mudblood and so many other things. Then when I went to your manor, you put me on a roller coaster of emotions, emotions I've never felt before. When you told me you loved me, I was in shock, I've never had someone tell me that one phrase that way. Then you risked your life to protect me, I'm not going to say that I love you, not yet, I'm not ready for that, but I'm saying I could give it a chance, and that I don't hate you anymore. I forgive you."
I was full on sobbing, I put my head down, I heard a fragile voice, "Really, you mean that?" I looked up, right into his grey eyes.
