She's facing homophobes that bag on her parents, coming out of the closest, friends, and fights, and maybe a helping of true love? Meanwhile: Mark struggles with coming to grips with the fact that he may not be the same person he was when he was dating Muaren. Mimi and Roger prepare to bring a new life into the world, how will the rest of the BoHo's respond? Maureen and Joanne take on the task of rson. Angel/Collins, Mimi/Roger, Mark/OC, MoJo, and of course Ashlynn and Leah.

Authors notes: Okay, so I realized last night that the only two chracters in my story that hadn't had a POV yet, are Alicia and Roger, so I rectified that. Breifly. So this is the long awaited "Coming out" chapter! Poor Leah and Ashlynn.. Feel free to hate me after you read this chapter. Alright, I'm sorry this took so long, but my internet is down, and is still down, and I had to retype this entire chapter. Unforseen is going to be a while, sorry.
Ashlynn's bedroom, early Monday morning, Ashlynn's POV
I sighed and handed Leah a tank top and smiled as she pulled it on and slipped a sweater on over it. I walked up to her and slid my arms around her waist, I kissed her neck and bit her playfully. I was rewarded with a little moan of pleasure and a gentle shove away.
"We have to go to school right?" I muttered, smiling at her. She nodded and picked up my brush, combing her hair into a ponytail and snapping a rubber band around it.
"Let's come out, I want everyone to know how much I love you Ashlynn." Leah pulled a old leather jacket of mine on, one I gave her when it had gotten cold because she had forgotten to take one from her house. She tried to never wear it and just wear three sweaters, because Ihad worn it every single day before we had started going out.
I stared at her like she had grown a second head.
"BIlly is in all of our classes, Babe, are you sure?"One good thing about school was that Leah and I had all of our classes together and she had really mellowed me out this past year. One bad thing, Billy really wanted me to fuck him up this year, and, he was in all our classes.
"Yeah, come on, we're going to be late."
I walked out the bedrom and frowned breifly at the sight in the living room, our pullout couch was open and and Aunt Maureen was curled up on her side, a heavy blue blanket clutched in her arms, I bent over and kissed her cheek. she stirred in her sleep and rolled over, curling instinctively around Joanne's unmoving body. Aunt Joanne was staring blankly at the wall. I sighed and walked around to the other side and kissed her cheek as well. She didn't even acknowledge my presance, just kept satrig, stroking Maureen's hair now.
"Bye Aunt Joanne. Love you." I whispered the words and ducked my head sadly. Then I picked up my bag and headed for door, and follwed Leah out to the bus stop.
Outside the school, a half hour later, Alicia's POV
I leaned against the light pole across the street from Ashlynn's school, it was my turn to patrol around the school today, the area was badly known for dugs and weapons.
I sipped on bitter black coffee from the Life. I spotted Ashlynn and Leah sitting on a bench in the school yard, talking to each other. Ashlynn reached up and cupped Leah's face gently, earning a few disgusted looks from students and falculty. three guys headed toward them, Leah whispered something to Ashlynn and Ashlynn nodded.
I had moved closer, so I could hear them, "I love you." Ashlynn said, almost sadly. She pressed her lips against Leah's firmly and slid her hand around to the back of her neck. I gasped as the three boys approached them.
"Wow Leah, I expected better from you," the boy in the middle sneered, placing his hands on his hips. "But, not you Collins, I'm not surprised, I mean look at what raised you." Ashlynn stood up, moving protectively in front of Leah, scanning the three of them while Leah stood as well, obvisoulsy looking for some way to avoid them.
"Oh yeah Billy because straight parents always raise straight kids." I put a hand to my forhead, oh please Ashlynn no... "OH! I get it now, that must mean your folks are gay too huh?" I rolled my eyes. Of course.
Billy must've glared or something, because Leah clutched at Ashlynn's arm. "Get 'em!" The dark haired boy swung his leg up and slammed his foot into Ashlynn's stomach knocking the wind out of her and brining her to her knees. They had to have known that none of them stood a chance against Ashlynn and Leah in a fair fight. He twisted her arms behind her back and forced them to a nasty angle, forcing her to look Billy. Ashlynn was forced down on her knees, and Billy tilted her face so that she had to watch as the redhead on his other side did the same thing to Leah. The both of his goonies dragged the girls up by their arms. I was frozen in place. Billy carressed Leah face and kissed her forcefully. Leah pulled away and jerked her head to the side, screaming as Red grabbed her hair and forced her to look at Billy. Leah glared at him heavily and spit in his face. Billy glared again and pulled his hand back, slapping her so hard that it turned her head. She snapped her head back and glared at him. I winced at the bright red slash mark across her face.
Ashlynn struggled against Brown, putting up a pretty good fight, I was stil frozen on the spot. Se pulled forward sharply and Brown placed a knee into her back and pulled back sharply on her arms. Ashlynn grunted. "Keep your filthy fucking hands to your self Billy!" Brown slammed her to her knees again and I finally found my footing and started toward them. Billy walked over to her, bringing his leg back and kicked her sharply in her stomach. Ashlynn cried out sharply in pain, Leah looked at her and winced.
"NO! Leave her alone!" Leah cried out, closing her eyes in pain as Red punched her in the side, holding her slim wrists easiy in one hand. I couldn't seem to move fast enough.
"Leah, hush my Love. Stay out of this." Ashlynn sothed, lifting her head back up and spitting a bit of blood out of her mouth and glaring up at billy from the ground. "You leave her the fuck out of this. Let her go, this is between you and me Billy." Billy crouched down and cupped Ash's chin, Laughing when she pulled away. He suddenly stooped laughing and punched Ashlynn, hard. The sound from it sounded around the court yard and I imagined how it must've hurt her. Especially as he started hitting her more and more. As he pulled his fist back for the fifth time, I grabbed his hand and twisted it sharply, grimicing as Leah was thrown bodily to the ground and Red took off. Brown slammed Ashlynn down as hard as he could and she raised her self up on shaking palms. Leah was by her in a heart beat.
"I would strongly suggest you never lay a finger on her again." I said forcing him down on his knees. Leah was helping Ashlynn up. Once she was in a sitting posistion, she threw up. I waited a few seconds, just to give the two time.
"You okay Honey?"
"'m 'fraid so."
Leah pulled a tissue out of her pocket and went to wipe Ashlynn's nose off, but Ashlynn held up a hand to stop her.
"'M fine Leah." Leah nodded and helped her up to her feet. Ashlynn wiped under her nose with the tissue Leah offered her and then grimiced and spit some of the red fluid onto the ground.
"Ash, you wanna press charges sweetie?" I asked. Ashlynn nodded and I looked into her eyes, searching for a confirmation of what I was about to do. Billy used my distaction and wrenched out of me, jumping behind Ashlynn and shoving her into me, knocking the wind out of both of us.
"I'll be back to deal with you dykey," then he took off after his friends. Leah pulled AShlynn up and wiped a little bit of blood off her forehead.
"Are you okay baby?" Leah helped Ashlynn stand straight, but she bent over with a little bit of pain. I stood, grimicing and rubbing my back. Ashlynn closed her eyes, then opened them again quickly, throwing up again. Leah gasped and pulled her back a little bit. Ashlynn looked from me to Leah and back again, she closed her eyes and fell to the concrete with a sickening thud.
Hospital, Angel's POV
I rubbed my eyes and sighed, holding Ashlynn's hand. Tom was out in the hallway, trying to calm Leah down.
"I shouldn't have let you two go back to that school. I should have known." It was my fault that my baby was hurting, my fault my daughter was lying in this hospital bed. "I'm so sorry, this is all my fault." It had been two hours, and she had still not woken up yet. I rubbed cirlces over the back of her hend with my thumb. "My fault."
"Mom, shut up. I've listened to you blame yourself for forty five minutes, and it's kinda startin' to piss me off." I gasped and looked up in to Ashlynn's beautiful eyes.
