Yes, Roxas/Roxitas finally gets to go to that coveted beach. Now I'm having to make this up as I go so if this shows up in Kingdom Hearts III and it varies from what I have, oops. Also being the feedback whore I am, could I have some more reviews; so far I've gotten one on this story, and unless Fanfiction traffic thingy lies, I have more readers than that.

I sat at my table, looking over my map of the world as usual, trying to find some sign of my old friend when the doorbell rang. I quickly stood up and walked towards my front door, wondering how someone got past my gate.

Once I opened the door I saw Hayner Pence and Olette standing outside with a large duffle bag slung over Hayners shoulder.

"What are you guys doing her?" I asked; my right eyebrow cocked.

"You said you'd come to the beach with us today." Pence said, a big smirk spread across his face. "We do it every summer."

"Sorry, I completely forgot about that." I said, taking my hood off of my head. "I forgot to get a bathing suit."

"After you disappeared with Lea we thought you would." Olette said, smiling and tilting her head the way she had when we were kids. "That's why we brought an extra one of Hayners. You are around the same size after all."

"Okay then, I'll grab my money pouch and we can get going." I said, turning around and walking towards the stairs on the left. "You guys make yourself at home in the meantime."

When I came down stairs I noticed that my three friends had set up a few wooden chairs and were talking about how Sora hadn't shown up for the Struggle tournament.

"Sora's on a training mission." I said, not sure if this was a complete lie or not. "He'll be back soon, but I wouldn't expect any word from him until then."

"What a bummer, I was really looking forward to practicing with the guy." Hayner said, slouching forward in his chair so that his for arms rested on his knees. "That guy has to be one of the strongest fighters I've ever met."

"He is; He beat me a few times back in the day." I said; walking towards the door as my friends began to stand up. "To bad we haven't fought in a while."

"That would be a fun fight to watch." Pence said as I pushed my front door open to see my Dusks training. "Speaking of fights, what are these guys training for?"

"Nothing you need to be concerned about." I said, gesturing for them to make a path for us. "Let's just get to the beach; I've never been to the one here."

I walked off the train and onto the platform, which was about the only thing not made of sand around here. Across the beach were pretzel and other types of snack stands, as well as a few changing rooms, but not a single building.

"So the beach, is just solid sand and ocean?" I asked, the wait of my coat suddenly becoming apparent to me. "I think I'd like to get to the ocean part as quick as possible."

"Then go get changed silly." Olete said with a giggle. "It's not like we're forcing you to stay in that outfit."

"Seriously man, why do you wear that leather coat any ways?" Hayner asked, looking at my slouched form. "It doesn't seem to be good for your health."

"I have my reasons, now can you give me the bathing suit." I joked, holding out my left hand to my punkish friend. "The sooner I change and get cooled down, the sooner we can get some pretzels."

"Okay Mr. secret." Hayner said, taking a green pair of swim trunks out of the duffle bag. "Just wait for the rest of us if you get done first."

It didn't take me long to get changed, despite all the layers I had on. When I walked out the only other person on the beach was a girl in a black strapless bikini whose face I didn't get the best look at. All I knew is that she had short hair.

A few seconds later Pence walked out wearing red swim trunks and a white T shirt. "How did you get changed so fast?"

"I'm pretty used to moving quickly in a small place." I said, thinking about the first battle I had once I got back into the world of light.

Next came Hayner who was wearing a pair of swim trunks that looked exactly like mine. "Well aren't we two of a kind."

"Only because I'm borrowing your swim suit." I said, looking at the only girls stall with a closed door. "What's taking Olete so long?"

"She always takes a while." Hayner said; leaning against the white wooded shack he had just came out of. "Probably because of all the layers she needs to put on and take off.

"You do know I can hear you right." Olete said from behind my back. "The doors aren't exactly thick."

I turned around to see Olete wearing a two piece orange swim suit with her hair tied up in a ponytail. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect a majored teenage girl to be standing in front of me, especially I had last seen her when she was fourteen.

"Hayner, I think you might have some competition." Olete said in a joking tone.

"No no no no, it's just, I wasn't really expecting you to look... seventeen." I said in an extremely brisk and flustered manner. "Not that you're not beautiful or anything, it's just I don't think of you in that way."

"Calm down Roxitas." Hayner said, grabbing me by my neck and putting me into a neck hold. "It's just a joke."

"Oh, that makes me feel better." I said, looking up at my friends face. "Now could you let me go and maybe, not noogy me."

"Sure, now why don't we get to swimming?" Hayner let me go and quickly ran towards the watter, the others at his heels. "Last one there buys the pretzels!"

I slowly walked down to the water to join my friends when the girl that had been sunbathing stood up and turned around. She walked towards me and we bumped into each other. When I looked back I got a quick glimpse of her face, and I recognized it. I couldn't find a name a place or an event that I knew her from, but I knew her.

I turned around and walked up to her, grabbing her shoulder. When she turned around my vision changed, and so did she. Instead of having short black hair it was bluish grey and covered her right eye, and her face lacked all of the cuteness of the other one. Even her now one piece strapped bathing suit had turned blue.

"Sorry I thought you were someone else." I said, right before I fell onto the hot sand behind me, my eyes closing.

A figure in a black hood sits in front of a grand piano in and empty void. They begin to peck at the keys, a melody forming from the notes they form, and then a sweet innocent girls voice comes out.

"Pleading with fate, to be forgiving. Allow the shattered Hearts to be regathered. Fighting for love, to have a meaning. Without a promise, to embrace the Darkness. Hoping for a Dream lost in Light, so distant.
