Rachel's blood-shoot eyes opened and she just stared at the wall over her. Santana saw that, and tried to talk to her, till she saw that all of her eyes were dark black, and she stopped trying to talk to her. She turned around and shouted at the nurse to give her something to put Rachel to sleep immediately because it wasn't safe for any of them anymore. Rachel's state of mind was now such that she thought she could do whatever she wanted; she could kick Brittany and Santana to the ground for no apparent reason, just because her body had so much adrenaline. But thank God, she was just lying there in the bed, and as soon as Santana gave her the ibuprofen, her eyes closed. Santana sat down on the floor next to the bed and took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself down.

Brittany sat down next to her and took her in her arms to give her a big hug that, somehow, she knew Santana would need.

After the incident with Rachel, they all kept an eagle's eye on her all the time. While Quinn got a little better every day, Rachel struggled with almost every given task or argued for a long time. It didn't matter what the doctors tried- Rachel didn't wanted to cooperate with them under any circumstances. The only routine she had, was seeing Quinn. When Brittany mentioned that to the person that was in charge of the station they all had a long meeting with Santana as well as the nurses that usually were working on that floor. In the end, they all came to the decision that it would be best to not allow Rachel to see Quinn for a while; maybe that could get her to help them, and herself, more. Staying at the same weight, or even losing a little, wasn't the goal they had here. It was to get all the girls healthier and not feed them with a tube, which they now had to do with Rachel as well.

Quinn was another task. She still had her tube through her nose but Dr. Lopez hardly ordered food for her to be given through the tube, and now the goal for her was, as well to gain weight, to eat healthily on her own. That's why Dr. Lopez woke her up on Monday morning to go to her first class where she would learn all about healthy food, how to prepare it and how much calories are needed for her for each day.

When Quinn walked into the room, which was long with 3 sets of kitchens like a stove, free space to put cooking utensils, a dishwasher and a sink with water to clean pans that aren't allowed to go into the dishwasher.

Quinn was still standing in the doorway when a young woman with ginger, shoulder-long hair walked towards her and stopped a couple feet in front of her. Doctor Lopez was still standing behind her and started to talk to the nice looking lady that was wearing an apron.

"Hey Amber, I have somebody here for you who I think should cook with you guys today."

"Hey Santana! It's nice that you inform me beforehand, that we will have somebody new cooking with us today, but I still can manage that. What's your name, sweetheart?"

Quinn looked up to Santana because she wasn't sure that she wanted to be here but didn't really see a way out, so she looked up at the ginger haired women and spoke in her soft voice

"Hello, my name is Quinn."

"It is really nice to meet you Quinn, would you like to come with me to the kitchen on the left? I can introduce you to the other girls and then we can start with our lesson today. Does that sound ok?"

Quinn just nodded her head and walked behind the woman to the kitchen, where already 4 other girls were sitting and looking at her. Two of the girls had chin length black hair, but one of them clearly colored their hair while the other one was naturally raven haired. They looked almost like twins, but they were probably just best friends and met here, just like she and Rachel did. Only, she wasn't allowed to see her anymore, which made her a little sad, and she looked to the floor. Quinn only looked up again, when she heard the voice of Amber again telling them some things about the food they would be making for breakfast today. On the menu today was Oatmeal, fruit salad and fresh Orange juice. The two girls with the short hair went to make the fruit salad, the other two went to squeeze two dozens of oranges, which left her alone in the middle of the kitchen, standing next to Amber.

"So are you ready to make the oatmeal?" asked Amber with an attempt at enthusiasm after she saw that Quinn didn't make any move to start to cook anything.

"I've never cooked anything, so I don't know what I should do," admitted Quinn, looking to the floor, ashamed that her parents had never really shown her how to cook. Her mother didn't like it that much either, so they ordered food quite often.

"That's ok, most girls never stood in the kitchen before! That's why we are here- to teach you that. So come on; we need a pot, some oatmeal, two measuring cups, milk from the fridge, a big glass of water and some sugar." Amber showed Quinn where to get everything and when it was all on the counter before them, they began. In the next 15 minutes, Amber explained some things to Quinn and told her to try some dry oats, which didn't taste that good in her opinion, till they made a perfectly cooked, unburnt oatmeal. Then, Quinn listened to everything Amber told her and checked everything 3 times over, not wanting to mess anything up and embarrass herself at the end. Amber was surprised that the only one of the girls that didn't burn their oatmeal the first time they had to cook it, was Quinn. After talking about nutrition, proteins and other important blocks in the food system, they all portioned the different meals into six equal portions and set the table. Everybody was surprised at how good the oatmeal tasted this time, when Quinn sneaked in a little sprinkle of cinnamon that she had seen while getting all of the other ingredients. Her mom had always put that on hers when she was little. For the next week Quinn went each morning to the room which had the kitchen in it and actually enjoyed herself there; cooking was really easy for her and to each meal she put some things in it that weren't on the list but that made it all extra special, and everybody loved it. Santana didn't even have to come and get Quinn from her room the next Monday morning; by then, she was already at the kitchen, and by the time she finally went back to her and Brittany's room, once there, she overslept a little.

AN: I am really sorry that there was such a long break between updates but life came in the way. Add to that writers block and you know how it is. But I found some new inspirations to write and I hope that the next chapter won't take that long.
