Emotions when entering the building seemed to be settled. That though alone would be incorrect as both a buzz of excitement and fear cut into the group like a sharpened blade and it was because of the unknown ahead that they felt this way. Danny followed by Dani and then Valerie entered the house and made their way to the door leading to the lab downstairs.

"Are you sure you want to ask him. I mean we could always stick to the original plan and have some ghosts haunt a place and then have me save the day," Valerie said and Danny knew that she was a bit worried about what her dad might think but more so what his parents might think.

"Don't worry, things will work out," Danny said with a smile on his face. Dani made her way and jumped onto his arm clinging on before speaking.

"And it's not this is a normal situation. Danny is the savior of the entire town and Valerie you a great ghost hunter. Your dad is a top scientist and neither of you have caused great distress on either of his parents," she said and her little speech had much truth in it.

"There is still a small problem that needs to be addressed," Valerie said pausing for a moment and looked at Dani before continuing with what she was saying. "Danny also has to explain you Danielle to his parents. But not just you being here anymore but now that you two are more than just very close friends or even cousins there is nothing either of you can do to soften the blow of the news," Valerie said and her words had infected both of them with some form of worry though it was Dani who was hit much harder than Danny himself.

"Let's just go as you dad what he thinks," Danny said trying to break the tension fear had caused and they made their way down into the Fenton lab where they saw several gadgets built by the adult Fenton's along with that there were a variety of tools and over at a counter stood a busy Damon working on an experiment. He must not have heard them coming down because when Valerie put her hand on his shoulder he jumped a little but didn't damage what he was tinkering with.

"Hey dad," she said and Damon smiled.

"Hey Valerie," he said and turned and noticed Danny and Dani being with her. "Oh hello Danny and Dani, I didn't notice any of you coming down here… but if all three of you are here it must mean something important," he said and he turned to continue tinkering a little more.

"What's that you're working on?" Dani asked him and the older man turned around with a smile on his face and a twinkle of some kind in his eye. To Valerie this look made her father look younger than he was now. Much like when her mother was still around and it was this sight that made her very happy.

"I am working on a device that would and mind you so far only in theory have the ability to convert ectoplasm or ectoplasmic energy into solid mass," he said and Danny looked confused but didn't say anything.

"So it can bring ghost back into a human form?" Dani asked him and Damon shook his head.

"No what it is designed to do is make them in a solid and tethered state… to allow the ones who want and choose to live a normal life the chance at that. Granted you were close with the thought of a fully human form that so far would be impossible without sacrificing some form of life in the process. Think of it as giving them a body stay in that wouldn't attract unwanted attention. There are some draw backs though," he said and looked back at the small device that was in the shape of a sphere.

"What kind of draw backs?" Danny asked him and Damon rubbed the back of his neck for a short moment.

"When they are in this state or solid body they will have no access to any ghostly powers as that would cause the converted cells and energy to disrupt and convert back into full ghost related energy," he said.

"But that doesn't sound like a bad thing. I mean ghost not being able to use their powers and looking normal sounds pretty good," Valerie said but added quickly after looking at the two halfa's next to her, "not counting you two of course," she said and there was a bit of an awkward silence that followed.

"It might cause problems for some of the ghosts who are willing to change but at the same time either isn't willing to give up their powers or convert over and find out what using their powers would mean for their physical appearance," he said and Valerie slowly nodded her head understanding.

"You said in theory?" Danny both said and asked him.

"Well yes. I have yet to find a good tester as it could be dangerous to test without some kind of back up," Damon said and the others understood. "Anyways enough about that, there has to be a reason for you three coming down here," he said and Danny nodded.

"I wanted to talk about you and Valerie's living arrangements," Danny said and Damon looked at him.

"Ah yes of course. Wasn't there a plan of some sort to get us a living space? I being down here for long periods of time have wiped at my memory. But are you bringing this up because we have over stayed our welcome?" He asked in a good nature.

"Actually no," Danny said and paused to take in a breath and doing so caused Damon to raise an eyebrow at him. "We came down here because I wanted to ask you if you would like to live here permanently," Danny said and Damon's eyes were wide.
