University has been really hectic, and I feel apologetic for not uploading for so long when you have given me so much help. I'm sorry to say that updates will become more sporadic from now on, but I'll try my best to upload and type when inspiration hits me or when I have free time. Thanks so much again! Love yall :)

***Start***

It was a sunny afternoon when Killua had cheered up and decided to go out shopping with Hisoka because he felt like making chocolate himself on a whim. Or all sorts of chocolatey baked goods at any rate. Hisoka hadn't seen him so chipper ever since the whole Gon fiasco, and he knew it was still a taboo topic because Killua was obviously just pushing it to one side and not thinking about it. But at least at the present, the snowy haired boy was humming to himself, checking a list, and happily throwing all the ingredients in.

Killua was ecstatic just imagining the thick smell of chocolate in the air, of a warm oven freshly opened, and chocolate that would just cause mouth watering orgasms on his tongue. Hisoka found himself watching every little easy smile that came so quickly to brighten Killua's face, and he felt his own facial muscles move to mirror that smile. He was just satisfied to watch Killua being happy over every little thing so easily and he was glad to make it happen and actually watch it happen.

"Brownies are so good. So are chocolate fudge cakes. And cookies," Killua rambled as he went ahead taking all the ingredients, plopping them into the shopping cart that Hisoka dutifully pushed behind him. Somehow Hisoka was perfectly content to go along with the boy's every whim, as long as it made him happy. "Awesome! I love binge eating chocolate!" Killua exclaimed with glee, shaking a box of cocoa powder.

"You'll get fat," Hisoka teased, and Killua finally gave him sorely wanted attention away from his chocolate fantasies.

"No I won't," Killua stuck his tongue out. "I can always work it off anyways. Anything for chocolate."

Anything for you, echoed Hisoka in his mind, giving an indulgent smile as Killua gave him a mischievous victorious smile; Hisoka would always let him win, he knew. And since Hisoka was going to pamper him and sponsor all his chocolate needs, he was practically on cloud nine, and it showed in the happy glow of his bright eyes and pink cheeks.

It was good to know that chocolate fixed all of Killua's unhappiness, even if it was just keeping his worries at bay. But if Kurapika's words were to be trusted (which he did trust the blond), Kurapika would be helping out to mend Killua's broken heart by talking to Gon's side. Now all he had to do was suitably distract Killua until Gon came begging on his knees for forgiveness. And then Hisoka would whisk Killua away to be his forever because Gon was an unappreciative piece of shit who couldn't see the absolute beauty and adorableness that Killua embodied by simply existing. And Killua would be happy to be with him, because he made Killua happy and-

"Helloooooo, anybody in there?" Killua waved his hand in front of Hisoka's dazed face, pouting cutely. "Stop daydreaming and push this cart will you? I wanna have my chocolate fix soon."

Killua was just so childish and demanding and somehow Hisoka loved it. He chuckled lowly to himself and said in an indulging tone, "Yes, master. I will follow all of your orders."

"You better," Killua replied haughtily, putting his hands on his waist. "Or you're not getting any of my chocolate."

Ridiculous. Ridiculously cute. Hisoka shook his head with mirth, the mirth that danced in Killua's hypnotic eyes, and pushed the cart to the check out counter for the eager boy. Killua could hardly stay still, his eyes watched the scanning of the items, his fingers thrummed against his own arms as he crossed them, and his feet tapped incessantly- it was like he was on a sugar high before the sugar even entered his system. But that sweet smile, that smile was what did Hisoka in, the smile made him melt into a gooey mess inside and he was the complete opposite of a murderous psychopath, so much so he was surprised himself. What changed?

And as Killua looked up at him and gave him a cheeky grin, he knew that Killua had changed him entirely the moment he noticed Killua for who he truly was. Hisoka ruffled's Killua's hair, and Killua sulked and gave him an affronted look (all staged of course, and that made it all the sweeter), as he sorted his hair back to its spiky state. Carrying all the bags of grocery, Hisoka followed Killua who was skipping and just being a boy, in all its simplicity and joy as he laughed and looked forward to the day. It warmed Hisoka's heart, when he contrasted it to the mere hollow puppet Killua had become.

Never again, Hisoka swore to himself. Never again would he let anyone hurt his precious Killua.

Returning to the hotel suite (the highest class, purely thanks to hunter privilege), Killua hovered around like an excited puppy as Hisoka set the grocery bags down, and he immediately ripped into them, preparing all the items he needed (and secretly eating some chocolate syrup first.)

But of course Hisoka watched him too closely to let him get away with it. "You better keep enough for all your baking," Hisoka snorted in amusement, giving a light warning as Killua instantly gave him a look of a guilty child caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Killua's expression quickly morphed into a naughty look, and he smirked as he said, "You can always go back and fetch me more..."

Hisoka shook his head in utter disbelief at the audacity of the boy, though amusing as it was. Killua seemed to have utter and complete confidence that Hisoka would be at his beck and call no matter what. But it seemed like Hisoka ought to remind Killua that his services had to have rewards.

Killua turned on the electric whisk, and instantly sent chocolate syrup flying all over the room. Hisoka burst out laughing at the bewildered and betrayed look Killua wore on his face, and Killua turned to him with wide eyes which showed his distress over all that wasted chocolate.

"Pfft," Hisoka snickered, and Killua could feel Hisoka's laughing breath as he took a pale hand and licked the chocolate coated fingers. Killua flushed instantly, and he took a step back, but Hisoka held his arm in a tight grip. "We can't let all this precious chocolate go to waste, can it?" Hisoka whispered huskily, watching Killua turn shy and flustered as he failed to meet his gaze. He knew Killua would never argue against that, and he snickered again as he cupped Killua's face to tilt it upwards.

"W-Wha... Mm..." Killua squeezed his eyes tightly shut as Hisoka licked a splash of chocolate off his nose. And because it tickled, Killua scrunched his nose up and giggled. "Hey, wait..."

Hisoka licked down Killua's pale neck, and Killua shuddered violently, letting out a groan, before he bit his lip tightly in embarrassment.

Then, he felt small hands rest on his shoulders, and now Killua was lapping at the chocolate on him like a tiny kitten. Hisoka relented on his teasing and let Killua eat his chocolate. Killua was already as red as a tomato, and if he went any further, he might not be able to stop himself...

"Is it yummy?" Hisoka's voice sent pleasant vibrations to Killua's ear due to their close proximity, and Killua let out his soft, aroused mewl that almost ripped Hisoka's self restraint to shreds, along with Killua's clothes.

"Of course, it's chocolate, it's always yummy," Killua retorted with false bravado, but the tremor in his voice and his body betrayed him.

Curious to see what Killua looked like, Hisoka leaned back and saw the most attractive face he had ever seen. Killua's face was glowing, his eyes full of vulnerable love and pleasure, his lips pursed with shy determination to stop blushing and failing terribly. Embarrassed by the fascinated and loving gaze that Hisoka had completely directed to him, Killua stuttered and barely made out a sentence to escape.

"I-I uh... I'm g-gonna go... gonna go clean up!" And he ran off, almost bumping into a chair, almost tripping over a step, and almost falling over his own wobbly legs. Hisoka laughed unabashed, wondering how on earth he could feel so intensely for someone else with emotions that were so soft and warm and just... heart rending. He wished days like these with Killua would continue on forever.

Looking at the recipes quickly, Hisoka decided to surprise Killua as he was washing up. It wasn't like he didn't know how to cook, he was usually just too lazy to do so. Besides, he hardly had a permanent place of residence since he was always on the road as a hunter and it was always a question of convenience when it came to food. It was not necessary to cook when there were restaurants everywhere. However, since Killua wanted to make his own chocolates...

Hisoka tied back his hair his a rubberband, and quickly surveyed the mess they had made, and sighed. He felt slightly sorry for the hotel staff he would call up eventually to clean up the mess, but well, it wasn't anything to fret over. Hunters were treated like vips in here, and if anything they should be glad they were cleaning up chocolate instead of blood. Chuckling to himself in good humor, he started to mix the flour and eggs together to make cookies. He followed the recipe closely, and by the time Killua came back, the cookies were already baking in the oven.

"That smells delicious!" Killua grinned, excitedly entering the room to peer into the red hot oven with wonder. "But I wanted to make it too," Killua pouted, "Why didn't you wait for me?"

"So you can eat these while you make the others," Hisoka replied with an indulging smile as Killua's lips turned up again.

"That's true," Killua hummed, pleased. He moved back towards the dining table in anticipation of making more sweets, but found himself slipping forward as his foot landed on a trail of chocolate syrup.

"Whoops," Hisoka caught him easily in his arms, and Killua blushed from the close proximity and the embarrassment of being so clumsy when he was supposed to be a light footed assassin. Or an ex-assassin, at any rate.

A loud 'ding!' sound was heard and Killua quickly pulled himself from Hisoka's encircled arms, putting on an awkward smile. "Um, let's eat!"

"I'd rather eat you though," Hisoka teased with a smirk, and Killua moved back instantly, face flaming red.

"You perv-ah!" Killua slipped at the exact same spot, and Hisoka laughed without restraint as he moved to catch Killua again. Killua mumbled unintelligible curses under his breath as he held onto Hisoka tightly and hid his face in Hisoka's chest. He heard the rumbling sounds of Hisoka's laughter, and its pleasant vibrations through his chest. Killua smiled sweetly at that, but Hisoka couldn't see it.

Hisoka ruffled the snowy white hair, snickering. "You're getting pretty soft. Have you been training at all?"

Killua looked up at Hisoka and pouted. "Shut up. It's just because I lowered my guard around you."

That was such an indirect and sweet way to declare his trust for Hisoka, and Hisoka couldn't help but feel a warm tingling sensation which once was foreign now became so familiar to him now.

"Yeah?" Hisoka smiled, hugging Killua tightly again, resting his head atop the fluffy nest. "Then I guess I'll have to be twice as much on guard to protect you."

"Baka," Killua whispered, so softly that Hisoka almost didn't catch the words.

Hisoka couldn't resist it this time, and he moved his hands to cup Killua's cheeks and tilt head up. Killua complied easily, and held an abashed face.

"Why are you looking at me like that, you idiot?" Killua smiled softly as Hisoka looked at him with the gentlest expression Killua has ever seen.

"Because I love you," the words tumbled out of Hisoka's mouth before he could stop them, but Killua didn't look very surprised by the sudden proclamation of love.

"I figured," Killua replied with a cheeky grin. Then his face mellowed out into a tender expression as well, and he smiled quietly as he leaned up. He kissed Hisoka softly, and pulled back with his mischievous expression back in place. "Me too."

Hisoka leaned down to kiss him again, but Killua pushed his face away with an alarmed look. "Wait, my cookies! I have to eat them while the chocolate on them is gooey and hot!"

The anti-climatic stop was at once disappointment and endearing, but Hisoka couldn't help but laugh anyway as Killua hurried to the oven to get his precious sweets. In his hurry, Killua pulled out the tray with his bare hands, and was immediately cursing. In an instant, Hisoka was by his side, pulling him over to the tap to run his fingers beneath cool water.

"It seems I can't take my eyes off you for even a moment," Hisoka sighed, watching the pale fingertips slowly turn scalding red.

"Yeah, you better not," Killua pouted, with that little edge of possessiveness that made Hisoka instantly drop all feelings of worry.

"I won't," Hisoka promised with a chuckle, kissing those sensitive, red tinged fingertips. Killua flicked Hisoka's nose and stuck his tongue out teasingly, and quickly escaped from Hisoka's grasp.

"Why you little..." torn between a frown and a smile, Hisoka made a weird expression that sent Killua into fits of laughter.

Killua picked up a cookie and held it in front of Hisoka's face with an apologetic expression, using those puppy dog eyes he was so adept at using. "Here, I'll give you the first one, so forgive me?"

Hisoka couldn't resist that compelling expression, so he took the cookie away with his fingers and leaned in to steal a kiss before Killua could react. Pulling away, he ate the cookie in front of a stunned Killua, smirking haughtily, "I told you I'd rather eat you."

"Baka," Killua giggled, turning away hoard the rest of the cookies for himself. "Then you won't get anymore."

That was fine with Hisoka, because Killua was his, and what more did he need?
