YAY! New chapter! I just had to update this story ASAP! XD

How dare he. HOW DARE HE! I was gonna kill him!

No, no I wasn't going to kill him, I was gonna do so much worse! I was gonna make his life miserable.

…Well okay, not miserable, maybe slightly unbearable… slightly.

I could ruin all his meals. Oh! Put a whole bunch of salt in his tea! That would taste terrible.

Reaching into the bag next to me, I pulled out a potato. Grabbing the peeler I began to peel said potato.

How could he do something like that? I mean… he knew how I felt on the subject, yet he still denied it?! And what is worse… Splinter let Mikey go off and met some guy he hadn't even met before!

How messed up is that?!

Peeling the potato angrily, I didn't even realize I was mumbling.
"Stupid Splinter… How about I stop buying you tea? How would you like that, huh?"

I jabbed at the potato, which was forced to face my wrath.

"You stupid… stupid… You stupid head!" I growled. "You're just fat. Really fat. Super fat. Fatty fat fat. Fatso. You and your fat."

Behind me, Leonardo and Raphael moved into the kitchen. Pausing when he entered, Raphael blinked to find me with my back to him, peeling a potato.

The problem was, the potato's skin had long been removed. Yet I was still peeling the poor thing. I kept mumbling insults to it too.

"Uh-oh." Raphael mumbled to his brother.

"What?" Leo blinked.
"Mom is talking to the potatoes again." He whispered.

"She must be angry." Leonardo noted, looking at my back curiously. "Wonder why?"
Shrugging, Raphael moved into the kitchen. "Hey Mom. What is for dinner?"

"Potatoes." I grumbled, slamming the now peeled potato onto the plate. It was only a tiny little thing by then.

Exchanging looks, the boys took their next few steps carefully, knowing it wouldn't end well to anger me.

They stood there for a few seconds, before Raphael nudged Leo forward. Glaring at his brother, he carefully moved towards me.

"So… Mom? Are we having anything with the potatoes? He asked slowly.

"…" I slowly lifted my head, my anger forgotten only for a few seconds.

Something with the potatoes? Hmm, I suppose we could. I've never really heard of people only having potatoes for dinner.

"…Yes." I nodded

"What?"

"…Roast?" I ended up asking. He blinked, not knowing if that was the answer or not.
"So, roast." He concluded with a nod.
"Yes, roast." I agreed as well, turning back to the potatoes. Looking back at his brother, the two smirked.

"We could have ice cream as well." Leonardo said with a grin.

"Ice cream…" I thought it over. "Yeah, ice cream sounds nice."

I didn't realize that behind me, the two were high fiving in victory.

Placing a second potato on the plate, I glanced over at them over my shoulder.

For a moment, I felt like asking what they would do if they were in my position. How would they handle Splinter? Would they go against his back even when he said no, or would they find some means of convincing him to say yes?

I'm sure Leonardo would pick the second option, and Raphael might go with the first.

None of that would help me though. Cause I wasn't Leo or Raph.

"Why are you boys back so soon?" I ended up asking instead.

"Fearless here lost the Kraang we were spying on." Raphael explained, plopping down on a chair at the table.

"I lost them?" Leo gawked at his brother.

"If Donnie and you, just did as you were told, we wouldn't have lost them."

"Oh, now it is all my fault." Raphael rolled his eyes.
"Well you don't seem to have a problem instantly blaming me, so I should be able to do the same." Leonardo explained simply, glaring at Raph.
"Boys." I soothed. "It doesn't matter who lost them. What's done is done."

Lifting their heads to stare at me, the two nodded. Smiling, happy they would stop arguing; I paused at their words.

"Wait… Donnie and Raph? Where is Mikey?" I blinked.

"Oh. Mikey went to go hang out with his friend." Leo explained.

I nodded. "Oh, I see." I looked to the clock. "Dinner will almost be ready. Can one of you call him to get him to come home?"

Pulling out his T-Phone, Leo began to do as I asked, but lifted his head when Mikey's ringtone for him began to play. Looking to the counter, I sighed to see Mikey's Phone lying there.

He had forgotten it.

Knowing Mikey he might never come back if he is having fun with his friend. Fun was like a magnet to that kid.

I guess there was only one thing left to do.

"Okay well…" I looked to the clock. "It is almost Dinner. Since Mikey left his phone here, I'm going to go get him." I placed my T-Phone in my pocket and moved to the exit.

"You're going? Why?" Raphael questioned.

"Because I wish to." I answered simply. Opening his mouth, not actually getting an answer from me, Raphael closed his mouth, thinking better of it.

To be honest, I had many reasons for getting my son. Bring him home for dinner, get out of the house, get some fresh air and finally, getting to final meet Mikey's 'Friend'.

"I'll be back soon. Can you boys finish peeling the potatoes and just place them in that pot on the oven?" I inquired.

The two nodded. "Bye mom." They waved.

As I turned to leave, I paused to see the Dojo doors open. Splinter had just opened them to step out, but stopped when he saw me. Staring at each other for a few seconds, I narrowed my eyes.

"May all your bacon burn." I mouthed at him. (I thank redangel2463/ Howl's Moving castle for this line!) Blinking at me, looking only slightly irritated at my behavior, Splinter slowly reclosed the Dojo doors.

With a satisfied nod, I continued out of the lair and to the surface above.

When I reached the top, I pulled out my phone to help me find the address. Well, at least the address to his Dojo, which is probably where Mikey and him were.

Pulling out the address it didn't take me long to get there. Stopping in front of the building, I looked at it curiously.

Koch Bottom Boxing Club

Weird name. What does Koch even mean? Well, I guess the meaning doesn't really matter since it is just a name for a place. If it was an actual word someone would use in a sentence, then that would be different.

Like if I said, "Dude, this is so Koch," or something, then someone would wonder what in the world that word meant.

Adjusting my jacket, I moved towards the building, pausing at the steps.

Okay, here we go. Time to see who this 'oh so amazing' friend of Mikey's is.

Moving up the steps, I slowly opened the door into Bradford's Dojo. "Uh… Hello?" I called. Hearing no reply, I walked inside.

There was a creek from upstairs, and I looked towards the steps to see a tall man with dark brown hair and matching beard moving towards me. He had light blue eyes, which matched his shirt.

Pausing, he looked at me with wide eyes. "Oh.' He suddenly smiled. "Well hello there." He moved towards me gracefully, extending a hand of greeting.

"Hello to you as well." He took it. Shacking my hand, he placed his other hand on top of my own, patting it.

…Weird

"It is an honor to have such a beautiful women in our presence."

Hmm, flattery, good way to start of when meeting someone… I think.

"Uh… I'm actually looking for someone who said they were coming here today." I announced.

"I see. Well, I am the only one here as of right now. Perhaps you just missed them?"

Oh man. Mikey might already be back at the lair. Or… he is still here and Bradford just doesn't want to tell someone he just met there is a giant turtle in his house. That one might be the case.
"Oh." I looked towards the door. "I see. I guess I will just-"

"I'm sorry Miss, but I don't believe I caught your name. I am Chris Bradford." He suddenly spoke up, interrupting me.

"Oh. Arinna. My name is Arinna." I gave him a quick smile.

"Arinna. What a beautiful name."

...Huh, well, no one has ever really said my name was beautiful. Well, only once, but my Brother was the one who told me that.

"Thank you." I decided to say anyway. "I'm sorry to disturb you. I'll just be taking my leave." I turned to the door.

"I did just make some Pizza for Dinner." Bradford suddenly announced. "Since you came all the way here, would you care to join me?"
"Pizza?" I lifted my head.

Seeing my reaction, he smiled. "Freshly made."

I glanced at the door once more.

….Going home, or Pizza. Pizza. I love Pizza. Oh but wait, I'm making dinner at home. I would ruin my dinner. Oh but it is Pizza! And this is Mikey's friend, right? Mikey said he was a cool guy, so I guess I could trust him. This might be my only chance to get to know him anyway.

"Just a few slices." I concluded.

With a bright smile, Chris Bradford led me towards a table, rushing to get the pizza.

While he was gone, I took that moment to look around the room.

It actually had a really nice environment. Clean too. Towards the side of the room though there was a large row of trophies, all most likely Bradford's.

Above the trophies, hanging on the wall, were several photos of Bradford as well.

I couldn't help but get the feeling this guy was a little egotistical.

Straightening a bit when the door suddenly opened, I watched Bradford return with a plate of pizza in his hands. "Here you are." He practically smirked at me.

Blinking a few times, I slowly nodded. "Thank you." I gave him a weak smile.

Okay, this was definitely weird.

Slowly reaching out for the Pizza, I took a small bit, trying not to look Bradford in the eyes as he stared at me.

"So um… Mr. Bradford-"
"Please, call me Chris."

"…Okay, Chris." I could just feel the awkwardness surrounding this conversation. Chris Bradford didn't seem to notice it at all though. "You have a very nice Dojo."

Yeah, that was my fail in communication.

"Thank you." He beamed. "Here we strive for only the very best. As I am sure you realize, I am quite famous."

I nodded, looking towards his trophies. "Yeah. I've heard a lot about you."

"Really?" he leaned towards me a bit, intrigued. In response I leaned back with a nervous chuckle.
"Y-Yeah." I took another bite of Pizza to avoid talking.

"Perhaps you would enjoy coming to visit me again? We have practices every day. I could even…" he paused. "Teach you a few moves." He sounded cocky.

No thank you Mr. Weird. I already have a teacher and he is all I need. But I mean… really. How could Mikey handle this guy? It was so awkward talking to him for some reason. He just gave off a weird vibe. Maybe it was just be, and that was why it is so awkward?

"…Maybe." I shrugged, not really wanting to be rude. I

"Then it is a date." He concluded.

"Yeah- wait- A what?" I gawked at him, realizing what he said.

"Perfect. Then come again tomorrow. One in the afternoon?"
"I…Huh?"

WHOA! WHOAAA! What is this? What the shell is this?! A date? A…

Wait a minute…

Oh my gosh! This guy is hitting on me! That is why it is so awkward!

"…I… Um…" Glancing at the watch, desperate to find a way out of this, I laughed nervously. "Oh, well, the time has just seemed to fly by. I'm going to be late."

"Oh of course. I apologize for keeping you." Bradford rose from his chair as I did, leading me to the door. He didn't even seem fazed that I didn't even reply to his date questions. It was like he already knew I was going to show up!
"No it's alright." I struggled to smile. Just as I turned to leave for the door, Bradford grabbed my hand. Startled, I was about to pull away, or hit him, but paused when he kissed it.

"Till we meet again." He winked.

…..I think I'm gonna throw up….

"….Yeah." I squeaked, slowly covering my mouth and rushing for the door.

AHHH! GROSS!

Stepping out of Bradford Dojo, I rushed down the steps. When I reached the bottom and heard the door close behind me, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

That… was extremely awkward. I mean, don't get me wrong. It isn't that I am afraid to date or anything, far from it. It is just… well, that guy just gave me the creeps. He was handsome, I'll give him that, but something about him just felt off.

Maybe it was because he was so cocky. I never really liked people who were cocky or thought they were better than others. So maybe that would explain my weird feeling.

"Mom!" I jumped at the sound of a voice. Turning towards the ally to my right, I was surprised to see Michelangelo appear from the fire escape. "Mikey." I greeted, relieved to see a familiar face.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, jumping towards me.

"I came to get you." Remembering the whole reason I came here, I folded my arms. "You forgot your phone at home." I narrowed my eyes.

He flinched, platting his belt a bit to find that his phone was indeed gone. "O-Oh…. Sorry." I grinned nervously.

With a huff, I felt myself sigh. "…It is okay." I smiled warmly at him, wrapping my arms around his shoulder. He did the same and grinned at me.

"Did you meet Rad Brad? That is my little name for him." Mikey explained.

"Yeah, I met him." I grumbled. "He's uh… interesting." I didn't really want to talk badly about Mikey's first human friend, excluding April. So I kept my mouth shut.

"Isn't he just awesome! And guess what!" Mikey bounced excitedly.

"What?" I blinked.
"He taught me his secret Kada! The Death Dragon!" Mikey wiggled his fingers in front of my face.

"The Death Dragon?" I asked. Oh, that name sounded a little cool.

"I have to show the guys! It is so awesome." He grabbed my hand and pulled me along, wanting to get home as fast as possible.

"You can show them after dinner Mikey." I chuckled.

He didn't stop running, and let out a loud laugh. "Come on Mom, hurry!"

I laughed with him, picking up my speed to run side by side with him.

...Alright, a lot of you were saying I should have Bradford flirt with Arinna. So here it is. I hope you are all happy now. I just realize, Bradford is sort of hard to write about. 0.0 I mean, i hope I got his character down. He always seemed like a cocky sort of guy to me, So I figured he would try to act charming/cocky when trying to flirt with a person. I dunno.

Anyway, there will probably be two more chapters for this episode. :D

A lot of Potatoes were hurt in the making of this chapter. Poor potatoes. Arinna will apologize to them later XD
