Chapter 14
Faux Company Building
The hallways and offices in the building were currently empty because it was lunch time. The employees were either outside the premises or in the cafeteria to eat their lunch. But there were a few people who were left in the main conference room in the building. These people were Haru and some of her guardians. They were casually chatting until the doors opened and there entered Tsuna and his friends.
Haru turned her head towards the doors with her poker face on and said, "Good Afternoon, Sawada. Glad you and your friends could make it in such short notice. I'm really sorry for not informing you sooner."
Tsuna smiled at her which shocked Haru but kept her poker face on.
"Good Afternoon to you and the others too, Miura-san. It's fine. We know you didn't mean to do that."
Tsuna proceeded to sit at the seat on the other end of the table where he was directly facing where Haru was sitting. Gokudera followed him and sat on the seat on his right.
"Stupid woman, you shouldn't forget important details like that." Gokudera grumbled as he sat down.
Haru just looked at him and said, "Don't worry. This won't happen again, Gokudera."
Gokudera glared at her and so she glared at him too but her attention was suddenly shifted at the door when she smelled something delicious. She saw Yamamoto entering the conference room with the sushi that he promised to bring. Kyoko was behind him and was carrying a plastic bag.
Haru couldn't control the smile that appeared in her beautiful face as she saw what Yamamoto was carrying. Gokudera saw this and scoffed. 'The stupid woman still loves sushi from the baseball idiot's shop. Some things just never change.'
Yamamoto put what he was carrying on the table and sat down on the seat on the left of Tsuna. Kyoko sat down beside him and then looked at Haru and saw the smile on her face. This made Kyoko giggle as she remembered how much Haru loved the sushi that Yamamoto's father makes.
Yamamoto looked at Haru and said, "Hi Haru! Here's the sushi. Dad made a lot for you and your friends."
Haru smiled and said, "Thanks Yamamoto-san! Let's eat!"
This made everyone in the room except Gokudera smile. Kyoko open the plastic bag that she was holding and distributed chopsticks and paper plates. Haru eagerly took one and went straight for the sushi.
"Haru, slow down. No one's going to steal all those sushi." Frau laughed at Haru.
Haru turned towards Frau and pouted. "Mind you own business, Frau." Haru stuck her tongue out like a child and everyone laughed at her.
Haru frowned and said, "Don't laugh at me. It's been so long since I last ate this and no one can stop me. Hmph."
Haru turned her back on them and started putting sushi in her paper plate. Once she thought she took enough she sat back down on her seat and started eating.
"This tastes so good! Your father makes the best sushi ever, Yamamoto-san."
Everyone just smiled at Haru as she continued eating.
Soon everyone was done eating and Athena together with Kyoko was tidying up the room.
When the girls were done, they went back to their seats and Haru's smile disappeared.
"Thank you for the food, Yamamoto-san. And please excuse my childish acts a while ago."
'She's back to business mode.' Thought everyone in the room.
"You're welcome, Haru." Yamamoto grinned at her.
Haru sighed and said, "I was about to say that you call me Miura-san but since you provided me with the best sushi in the world then, I'll allow you to use my given name just for today. That goes only for you the others must still call me by my family name."
Yamamoto was surprised but smiled at Haru.
"Since we are all done, let's start talking. Where are the others?" Haru raised an elegant eyebrow at Tsuna.
"Ryohei-nii-san and Kurokawa-san are still on their way here. As for Reborn…" Tsuna was cut off.
"Ciaossu. Sorry for arriving so late." Reborn suddenly appeared on Tsuna's head.
"I knew you'd suddenly appear out of nowhere." Tsuna sighed.
"We can't start this without them. Please tell them to hurry up."
"Now, now. Calm down, Haru. Waiting for a few minutes won't hurt. And it is still basically lunch break." Frau faced Tsuna and said, "Please excuse Haru. She doesn't tolerate tardiness."
Tsuna smiled and said, "It's alright, Frau-san."
Kenji attempting to break the tension caused by his boss stood up and suggested, "Why don't we start first with the girls' idol group, Haru-sama? I think by the time that we're done talking about them, the two would've arrived already."
Haru smiled at Kenji. "Very good suggestion, Kenji. Alright. Let's start this."
Kenji mentally sighed and sat down then he texted Gokudera.
KENJI: Tell those two to hurry up. Please.
GOKUDERA: Alright. Thanks. I hate to admit it but I know the stupid woman is terrifying when it comes to late people.
Gokudera then preceded to text the two.
GOKUDERA: Hey lawn head! You and Kurokawa better hurry up. You're late and the stupid woman is already pissed.
RYOHEI: Damn! Alright. We're already in front of the building. And stop calling me lawn head, Octopus head to the EXTREME!
Gokudera just grumbled and locked his phone. He looked at Tsuna as if to tell him that the two would be arriving shortly. Tsuna caught on and nodded his head towards Gokudera.
"Kyoko was already introduced as a new comer during the party but that was just to the company. She will be officially introduced as part of the Faux Company next next week on the show of Calvin-sama's girlfriend. Her name is Caroline Diaz and her talk show is called 'What's Next?' Kyoko, you'll have to prepare two songs because you'll be singing at the start of the show and midway through it. You'll also be interviewed so you better prepare yourself for that too."
Kyoko suddenly frowned. She was getting nervous after hearing what Athena just said. Hanna noticed this and said, "Don't worry, Kyoko. Athena and I will help you with your preparations. We've been there and we know how nerve-wrecking it is to be in your position."
Kyoko turned to look at Hanna and Athena. Hanna smiled at her and Athena nodded her head towards her. Kyoko smiled and said, "Thanks."
"Sasagawa, you can choose your songs from my compositions but if you have some songs that you wrote then you can use those."
Everyone was surprised to hear that from Haru but no one dared to react.
Kyoko smiled at Haru. "Thank you, Ha—" Haru started to frown. "I mean Miura-san. I only have one song but it's not yet finished so I'll be choosing from your songs. Thank you again."
Hanna was about to speak when the doors opened and there appeared Ryohei and Hana.
"Sorry we're late. What did we miss?"
"Not much, Kurokawa. Thanks for finally gracing us with your presence. Now, take a seat."
"Haru, stop being rude. They are just in time. And it's actually your fault for informing them just now."
Haru pouted at Frau and said, "You're supposed to be on my side, meanie." Frau just sighed at his girlfriend.
Hanna faked cough to get their attention while Hana and Ryohei sat down next to Gokudera.
"As I was about to say before I was interrupted, two weeks after that will be our debut together with Sawada-san and Haru-sama's band so we better start practicing. But before that, we must think of the name of our group and choose a song from Haru-sama's collection or we can write our own. We'll discuss that later. That will be all for us, Haru-sama."
Haru rested her elbows on the table and leaned forward. "Does anyone have any objections or suggestions for them?"
No one spoke up. "I'll take that as a no then. You girls can go to your practice room to discuss and practice. Good luck."
After hearing that, Hanna, Athena, Kenji and Kyoko stood up.
"Please excuse us, Haru-sama. We wish you luck with your activities too." Hanna and Athena bowed to her and turned to leave.
"We'll be going, Miura-san." Kyoko bowed towards Haru then turned to Tsuna and the others. "See you later." Kyoko then started to leave too.
"I'll be leaving with them, Haru-sama. I'll be in the training room. Do you have something that you want me to do?"
Haru turned to Kenji and said, "Tell Leonard-nii-sama that I'll go to him later after our meeting here. And please check everyone there for me."
"As you wish, Haru-sama. I'll be taking my leave then. See you later."
Kenji bowed to her and then left the room.
Haru faced Tsuna and said, "Now, let's start our meeting. Unlike Sasagawa, Sawada and I will be introduced as the vocalist of the band next week on the same show. At first, I will be interviewed and then I will announce that I will be joining your band. That will be the time that you will be introduced, Sawada. We'd have to prepare two songs. One will be for when you're introduced and another one for the closing of the show."
"So what songs will you and Dame-Tsuna sing?"
"That's a good question, Reborn-san. I'll let you guys decide that later while I go meet with my brother. Frau will be there to help you guys in my place. Is that alright, Frau?" Haru turned towards Frau.
"That's fine with me, Haru." Frau smiled at her.
"Miura-san, will the band be introduced there as well?" Asked Ryohei.
"Oh. I forgot to mention it. For next week, it'll only be the two of us. The week after Kyoko's introduction will be Sawada and the rest of you. I won't be with you because we have modeling work on that day. Don't worry, I'll make sure that Athena and Kenji will assist you guys there."
'By we does she mean her and Frau?' Thought Tsuna.
Hana noticed the frown on Tsuna's face and she decided that she'll ask what he's probably thinking.
"We?" Hana raised an eyebrow at Haru.
"We. Frau and I. Any problems with it?" Inquired Haru.
'Just what I thought.' Tsuna thought as he sighed mentally.
Hana shook her head. "None. I'm just asking."
"Now let's move on to the next topic. Our debut. As what was told a while ago, our debut will be with Athena and the others. It will be held at the Namimori Stadium. The girls will sing two songs and so will us. There would also be guests like Frau and other artists from the Faux Company. Any questions?"
Everyone except Reborn and Frau shook their heads.
"Good. Frau, take them to the practice room. You know what to do. You guys talk about the songs. Anything is fine with me. Please excuse me. I have to see my brother. I'll just follow you to the practice room after I'm done talking to him."
Haru stood up and so did everyone in the room. Haru went to Frau and said, "See you later." She kissed him lightly on the lips and then smiled at him. Frau smiled back at her. After seeing this, Haru went straight to the door.
"Sorry about that, Tsuna-san." Frau smirked.
Tsuna sighed. "It's not like I can do anything about it. You are after all her boyfriend."
Frau chuckled and said, "Don't worry. I'll make it up to you as compensation for what you saw earlier. So shall we go to the practice room?"
Everyone nodded. Frau went towards the door and everyone followed him out.
At the Practice Room
The practice room was very spacious. There was a recording room at the end of the room. The room was also complete with instruments that can be used. Currently Tsuna and his friends were sitting on the couch at the left side of the room. Reborn was sitting on the center table near the couch.
Frau walked towards them and he was carrying gold clear books and one black clear book. He put the clear books on the table but did not let go of the black one.
"So about the songs, you can either choose from Haru's collection or you can write your song. I suggest that you choose the songs from these gold clear books for Tsuna-san's introduction because you don't have time to write one since its next week. It will have to be a duet with Haru. Normally, Haru would only let you choose from the songs there but since I have to make it up to you, I'll let you choose from this black clear book. And for the introduction of your band, I'm sure you guys already have songs that you've written before. You can use that. And lastly for your debut, I suggest that you write a song with Haru, Tsuna-san."
Tsuna suddenly stood up and said, "Haru would never agree to write a song with me!"
Reborn kicked Tsuna in the forehead and said, "Shut up, Dame-Tsuna. Let him finish. Please continue, Zehel-san."
"Never is going a bit too far, Tsuna-san. I know she won't agree with it for now. She'll probably be angry for this but she did say that she's letting you guys decide. She can't say no. And besides, in order to perform properly next week, you'd have to at least make Haru forgive you."
"I can't do that by next week!" Tsuna was now pacing back and forth.
"Calm down Tsuna! You can do it." Yamamoto looked at Gokudera for support.
"I hate to admit it but Juudaime the baseball idiot is right."
Tsuna still didn't listen to the two. Hana stood up went straight to Tsuna and smacked his head with her bag.
"Ouch! What was that for?" Tsuna glared at Hana.
"Don't glare at me! You better calm down or I'll smack you again. This time with my shoes."
Tsuna looked down and saw that Hana was wearing heels. "Alright. Alright. No need to go violent on me."
"Tsuna, you said that you'd get her back right? Then you better keep you shit together and do whatever it takes for Haru to forgive you this week."
"Hana is right to the EXTREME! Man up to the EXTREME!"
Everyone nodded at what Ryohei said.
"I know you can do it, Tsuna-san. Believe in yourself." Tsuna looked at Frau and Frau smiled at him.
"Alright. So what's the plan?"
Frau's smile turned into a smirk. "So Tsuna-san, can you dance?"
Everyone's eyes widened as Tsuna screamed, "WHAT?!"
