I hope you all enjoyed last chapter, and here is another one from the great (sort of) Sam!

You guys should seriously PM, like to talk or whatever, I'd love that. Just to chat about ships and sob over the fact that Homestuck exists ^.^

I'm thinking of making an Instagram for roleplay and posting spoilers for the next chapter and new stories I'm working on, would any of you that have accounts follow me and be interested in that? Please review with your opinion my lovelies :D

I think I can write a decent Tavros…
Anywhore, enough of my boring talk! Let's get to this chapter, shall we?

Read on~

John was watching a Nic Cage movie that had just so happened to be playing on TV when the doorbell rang. He stood up and stretched before walking over and opening the door. He was surprised to see Tavros on the other side of the door, looking nervous and scared.

"Hi, what's up?" He questioned as he stepped aside, letting the wheelchair-bound troll to roll inside. Tavros bit his lip, tears filling his eyes.

"I—Karkat's in the hospital." He blurted out, and John's eyes widened in shock at the words.

"What—how?!" He sank down into a chair, looking highly concerned as he stared at Tavros.

"Gamzee and I got into a fight and then he hurt Karkat. I'm so sorry." Tears rapidly slid down the troll's cheeks as he explained the situation.

"Which hospital? I need to go see him." John got the address from Tavros and then called for a taxi to take him to the hospital. Once arriving there, he checked in at the front desk.

"Hello, I'm here to see Karkat..?" He spoke to the girl behind the reception desk, who looked at something on her computer before giving him the room number. John cleared the set of stairs in two big jumps, nearly breaking down the door in order to see the troll.

"What the hell? John, careful, that door is probably expensive." Karkat scowled weakly at him from the bed, propped up against the pillows. His left eye was covered with a bandage, his leg was wrapped in gauze, and his arms were covered in cuts. John took one look at him and burst into tears.

"Whoa, calm down. I'm fine. Don't cry…seriously, don't cry…" Karkat quickly took the boy's hand and squeezed it gently.

"Y-you're in the hospital, how is that fine?" John sniffled and wiped away his tears, lip quivering dangerously.

"Calm down, Egbert. Seriously. I'm fine, I swear. Just a little banged up, that's all." He relaxed when the younger relaxed, eyeing him curiously.

"How did you know I was here?" He questioned John, who told him about Tavros visiting him and filling him in on what had happened.

"So you know Gamzee went a little psycho then. He's somewhere in this hospital as well. They might let me out tomorrow or the day after." Karkat shifted in the bed, watching as John shuffled closer to him and pulled a chair from the side of the room so he could sit and hold the troll's hand.

"I'm staying here until they let you out." The raven-haired human spoke with a determined expression, and Karkat rolled his eyes.

"No you aren't. You're going home, and I'm going to have Sollux stay with you while I'm here." He replied, pulling his hand away and crossing his arms. John pouted, shaking his head as he scooted closer to the bed.

"Do me a favor and lay down with me." The troll grunted as he shifted over, and John curled up next to him, resting his head on Karkat's chest. The older of the two relaxed at the comfort he was receiving, petting the human's head lightly.

"I'm not leaving you." John repeated stubbornly, looking up into Karkat's glowing yellow eyes.

"Alright, alright, if they let you, you can stay the night. But don't expect me to share the bed." He gave a small grin, and the raven-haired human looked triumphant at this, knowing he was going to be allowed to share the bed anyways.

They watched a movie and ate the crappy hospital food together, John eventually falling asleep on Karkat. The troll smiled a bit and stroked his soft black hair; seriously, did the human use a special softening conditioner or something? He fell asleep soon after, holding John close to him.

I know it's short, but I had writer's block at the end, ok? This is like a filler chapter. Next chapter will be much more interesting.

Review please!
