Location: Los Angeles, California

"Susan, are you in there?" Mrs. Benchy called.

All she heard was crying from the other side. She slowly open the door to see Susan on her bed, still having her head on the pillow, covered in her tears. She slowly walk up to her and gently placed her hand on Susan, causing her to jump.

"What the—" Susan turns around to see Mrs. Benchy, "Mrs. Benchy, what are you doing here?"

"I came in to see if you girls are alright?" she said with concern.

Susan wipes her tears from her face, her eyes was red and puffy from all of the crying.

"I miss him", she whimpered.

Mrs. Benchy hug Susan tightly, as Susan begins to cry again. It wasn't long till Elsa, Anna, Johnny, and Nikki enter Susan's room and join the hug as they begin to cry.

"We miss him too", Mrs. Benchy whispers sadly.

Location: Outside of the Senin Village

Aang slowly got up, trying his best not to wake up his friends as he tries to reach to Appa. Appa instantly woke up and roar lowly, causing Aang to shush him.

"Appa be quiet", Aang hissed, "We can't wake the others up."

"Too late for that Airhead." Ricky grumbled.

Aang turns around to see his friends waking up, all thanks to Appa's growling. Katana was the first one to get up and looks at Aang with horridness in her eyes.

"You can't leave Aang, we need you", Katara says worriedly.

"Listen to Katara Aang", Ricky told him, "You can't fight those firebenders to reach Avatar Roku."

"But I have to talk to Avatar Roku before the solstice begins. And it begins today!" Aang retorts.

Aang jump onto Appa's head and turns him around, but they were stop by Ricky and Katara.

"You are NOT going to the Fire Nation!" Katara scolded him, "Not without us!"

Aang looks at them curiously.

"She's right", Sokka added, "We're in this together and we are not leaving you behind."

"That's right, we got your back Aang", Sari agreed.

Aang smiles, but begins to laugh when Appa licks Sokka causing him to moan.

"Ew!" he complained.

Everyone laugh as they begin to pack their things onto Appa's saddle. The Senin Village leader walks up to them, gives them a map to their destination.

"Heading to Crescent Island is going to be a long journey. You must get going in order get their before the sun sets", the village leader explains.

"Thanks for everything sir", Aang thank the leader.

"No time for thanks, you have to leave now."

Aang nods his head and Appa begins to fly off to the ocean, leaving the village far behind.

Ricky stares out in the sky out of boredom, since heading to the temple of Avatar Roku will take all day and they can't risk resting because that will kill time. They needed to get their before the solstice begins. That's when Ricky smells smoke from the distance.

"Hey guys, do you smell that?"

Sock begins to smell the smoke as well and follows it and his eyes widen in fear.

"Aang, we got company!" Sock yells.

Katara, Ricky, and Sari turns around to see what Sokka saw. It was a Fire Nation ship and standing on deck was Zuko.

"Aang, we need to go faster NOW!" Ricky yells.

Aang begins whipping Appa's reins getting to him to go faster.

"THEY'RE GETTING CLOSER!" Sari panicked.

Aang has kept pulling on Appa's reins to avoid the fireballs kept on flying towards them. Luckily, Ricky has been firing his own fireballs to destroy the giant ones, causing multiple explosions behind them. Everyone try their best to hold on from falling off of Appa.

"Can you make Appa go any faster?!" Ricky roars.

"Yeah, but we have ONE problem." Aang reply.

Sari quickly crawl towards Aang and rows of boat only circling.

"It's a blockade!" Sari yells.

Everyone begin to panic, worrying on how are they're going to get through.

"We need to ram through the blockade", Ricky suggested.

"But if we head north, we'll avoid the Fire Nation and the blockade", Aang argue.

"We don't have time for that!"

Aang growls in frustration, "This is WHY I didn't want to bring you guys. It's too dangerous."

"And this is WHY we came!" Katara counter.

Aang didn't have time to argue with his friends. He needs to get Avatar Roku before the solstice begins.

"Fine", Aang sighs in defeat, "We'll do it."

Sokka fist in the air with determination.

"YEAH! LET'S RUN THROUGH THAT BLOCKADE!"

Aang whip it reins as Appa begin to descend quickly at high speed, his feet barely scrapping the surface of water. Ricky saw some of the Fire Nation soldiers igniting a giant boulder on a giant catapult.

"We've got a lot of company!" Ricky yells.

As they about to enter the blockade, Ricky begin to fire at the catapults as fast as he can, causing them to the catapults to explode on contact. He continues to fire t the catapults, sending some of the firebending soldiers flying from the explosion. It was one of the explosion cause Sokka to fall off of Appa.

"SOKKA!" Ricky yells, grabbing Sokka before falling with him.

Luckily, Ricky saw Appa did a somersault and began to catch Ricky and Sokka. The two boys quickly lands on Appa's saddle, not long till they saw Katara and Sari stretch their arms out to catch them. They collide one another, before slowly sitting up.

"Is everyone okay?" Katara asks.

"Yeah", the boys answer.

Aang looks behind him to see his friends were alright, until he saw a giant fireball heading straight towards them.

"RICKY! INCOMING!"

Ricky looks behind him to see the giant fireball getting closer to them, he quickly got up and reach to the end of Appa's saddle about to fire until he turns around and looks at his friends.

"AANG! I NEED YOUR HELP!"

Aang quickly got off of his seat and quickly jump in the air, standing next to Ricky as they begin to fire their respective elements at the giant fireball. Ricky's blue fire engulfs Aang's gust of wind as it contacts with the giant fireball, causing the fireball to explode. Everyone cheers as they begin to leave the blockade behind.

"WE DID IT!" Katara cheers, hugging Ricky.

Ricky was a bit surprise but he took the hug and he begin to hug his friends as they head towards to Crescent Island.

"Where are do you think they're heading Commander?" the captain ask.

"I don't know", Zhao said gritting his teeth.

He clench his hands into a fist out of anger, seeing that the Avatar and his company have escape. But one of them was a boy with dark brown hair, shooting blue fire at the blockade's catapults as they pass by his ship. He remember what General Iroh had said two weeks ago about a boy who can bend blue fire joined the Avatar.

'So, what the old man said was true.' Zhao thought.

"Admiral Zhao, the boarding party is ready to board the ships. They are ready for your command", the captain spoke up.

Zhao looks at Zuko's ship as it begin to come into a collision course, that's when we have a plan.

"Cut the engines." he command.

The captain looks at him confusingly, "What?"

"Let them pass by, let's see where the banished prince is going."

The captain slightly nods and order the soldiers to cut the engines. Prince Zuko's ship easily went through the blockade, as it follows the Avatar. Zuko smiles confidently that he made it through the blockade, while Iroh stroke his grey beard curiously as he saw Zhao grinning devilishly from a distance.

Location: Crescent Island, Fire Nation

The Gaang safely landed on the volcanic crescent moon-like island, as they got off of Appa. Aang hugs his giant, six-legged friend with a smile ear-to-ear.

"We made it! Good job Appa", Aang congratulate.

Appa roars happily until he fell out of tiresome and lean on his side and sticking his tongue out. Katara begins to rub Appa's belly, with a smile on her face.

"Aw, you must be tired."

"Nope! I'm all good and ready to kick some Fire Nation butt!" Sokka determinedly says, stretching his legs and starts flexing, not listening to Katara.

Sari and Katara looks at Sokka with annoyance on their faces.

"She was talking to Appa, moron!" Sari groans.

Sokka stops flexing, sweatdrops.

"Well, I was... Talking to Momo", Sokka points at the flying lemur.

The Gaang begin to walk towards to a Chinese-looking temple, near the giant volcano, noticing there were no guards anywhere.

"How come there is no one guarding this place?" Sari ask.

"I don't know", Aang responds, "Maybe after Avatar Roku died, they must've abandon it."

Ricky and Aang pushes the giant doors to open, looking the inside of the chambers of the temples. They stood in the center, admiring the scenery until Sokka heard distant footsteps.

"Guys, someone's coming", Sokka whispers.

Everyone turn their attentions to the footsteps, revealing old men wearing red robes and weird looking hats.

"We are the Fire Sages", one of men spoke, "We are the guardians of the Temple of the Avatar."

Aang smiles confidently, "Great, I'm the Avatar."

"We know." the Sage reply.

That's when the Fire Sages begin to fire at the Gaang, but Ricky was able to deflect the fire from harming his friends.

"You guys go ahead, I'll hold them off." Ricky told them.

His friends begin run off as he begins to throw some fire at the Fire Sage. They created a firewall, literally, to block Ricky's attack. But he took their defense as an opportunity and begins running after his friends. The Great Fire Sage saw Ricky running away from them, knowing what they're going.

"If the Avatar is able to contact Roku, who knows what will happen", the Great Sage warns his comrades, "We must not let them reach Avatar Roku."

Ricky was able to catch up with his friends, as they continue running away from the Sages.

"Do you know where you're going Aang?" Ricky ask.

Aang shook his head, "Nope!"

Aang took a sharp turn, but then ran the opposite direction.

"Wrong way!"

They look and saw a Fire Sage coming out of the corner and they begin to turn the opposite direction as well. They heard the footsteps running towards them, Ricky saw he was getting closer.

"Wait, come back!" the Fire Sage cry out.

Ricky wasn't taking any chances right now, they need to find Avatar Roku and fast. But that's when he saw a dead end, causing him and his friends to skid to a stop, turning around, preparing to fight the Fire Sage. But what caught them off guard was when the Fire Sage raise his hands as if he was surrendering.

"Please I'm not here to harm you, I'm a friend", he said.

"Firebenders aren't our friends!" Sokka spat out angrily.

"I'm right here moron!", Ricky scolds.

"I know why you're here, I can help you." The Fire Sage explain.

Aang steps forward in front of his friends, preventing any of them to attack each other.

"How?" he raise his eyebrow in questioning.

The Sage grab a latern and pulls it down, to reveal a secret entrance in the wall.

"This will lead you to Avatar Roku."

They heard footsteps coming closer, knowing all too well who it was.

"We can't let them reach Avatar Roku!"

"Hurry!" The Sage warns the Gaang to quickly ran into the secret entrance.

The door instantly closes behind them, as they heard footsteps passes by the secret entrance. They held their breath what felt like an hour, until the footsteps begin to fade. They sigh in relief as they tried to gasp for air.

"Thank you" Ricky thanks.

The Fire Sage bows down to them with respect, "You're welcome, but we are running out of time! We need to hurry, follow me!"

They began to run up the stairs, hoping that they are not too late.

"So, how long did you know Avatar Roku?" Aang ask.

"I have never met him, but my grandfather has. Many years ago, the Sage were extremely loyal to Avatar Roku, when he died they were eager for the new Avatar to return."

"They were waiting for me", Aang solemnly said with guilt flowing in his mind.

"Hey, you were a century late", Sokka pat Aang on the back.

"So, why are they attacking us?" Ricky questions.

The Sage sighs depressingly, "You see, they begin to lost hope. When the Fire Lord declare against world, my grandfather and the others were forced to obey his orders. I knew if that I help you, then I will consider a traitor to the Fire Nation."

"By the way, how did you know we were coming?" Ricky remembers.

"It's actually simple, yet it's was so bizarre. A few days ago, Avatar Roku's eyes glowed white."

Ricky was confused, but then he process the thought until he realized what he was saying. He looks at Katara who shares the same expression on her face.

"By the way, we didn't get your name?" Aang said.

The Fire Sage chuckles as he turns his head to the Gaang.

"My name is Shyu."

"Hi there Shyu, my name is Aang", he cheerfully introduce, "Thess are my friends: Sokka, Katara, Sari, and Ricky. He's, uh- not from here."

"I know" Shyu nods, "Rumors about a boy that bends blue fire was traveling with the Avatar. The only one who can bend blue fire is the Princess Azula."

Katara and Sari shudders on hearing the Fire Nation Princess's name.

"So, Scar Face has a daughter?" Ricky asks cringingly.

Shy raises his eyebrow in confusion.

"He means Prince Zuko", Sokka explains.

Shyu nods his head.

"Yes, but I'm afraid she's much like her father."

They all hold their breath, not wanting to breath a word. They continue climbing up the flight of stairs, almost reaching to the top.

"Once we reach to the top, you have to wait for the light to touch Avatar Roku's head. That's when you are able to talk to him." Shyu explains pushing the secret door above him. They climbed up the ladder and found themselves another room, this time, it had giant columns with dragon statues in front of a giant door. Shyu looks up and his eyes widen in disbelief.

"NO!"

"Shyu, what's wrong?" Aang asks.

Shyu points at the door, "The doors, they're lock!"

"Well, can't you just open it like the secret door you did?" Ricky asks.

Shyu shook his head, "No. The only way for the door to open is if the Avatar is fully realized can open this door alone, if not then only five sages can."

Sokka stroke his chin, begin to thinking for a moment. That is when he got an idea.

"I think I can fix that."

Mere minutes has passed, Sokka and Ricky pouring some oil in the leather bags and placing them inside the statue's mouth.

"This little trick should work, Ricky and I will seal the animal skin casing. Shyu and Ricky will light them up and ta-da! Fake firebending!"

"Wow Sokka, that might actually work" Sari complimented.

Sokka smiles pridefully and begin to walk away from the door for Shyu and Ricky to light up the explosives. Katara was holding Momo and place her hand on Aang's shoulders.

"Are you ready for this?"

Aang nods determinedly. "Definitely."

"The explosion will get the Fire Sages' attention, once the door's open, you have to enter quickly." Shyu explains.

Everyone nods, stepping away from the door. Ricky and Shyu snap their fingers and lit the small ropes and begin running away from the door as fast as they can and hid behind the pillars. The homemade explosives made contact with the burning rope and it explode, causing the room to shake. Ricky blew the smoke from his face to see the door was still intact, only black powder spread on the door.

Aang yells in frustration, "Augh, I'm never going to talk to Roku!"

"Great, now what?" Ricky questions placing his hand on his chin.

Sokka just shook his head, "I don't get it. That blast should've been as strong as those Fire Sage's firebending."

Katara's eyes widen in realization, "Sokka, you're a genius!"

Everyone looks at her with confusion.

"Uh Kat, did the blast somehow damage your brain", Ricky asks, "The blast didn't work."

Katara smiles as if they should know what she's thinking, Sari caught on then so did Sokka and Ricky. Aang looks at them, still confused.

"Uh guys? How's Sokka a genius?"

"Here me out." Katara explains.

The Fire Sages came up, seeing Shyu waving his hands in the air.

"Everyone, come quickly! The Avatar is already inside!" Shyu shouts.

"What?! How?!" The Great Fire Sage gasps.

"I don't know, but look!" Shyu points out, showing the burnt door and a shadow underneath the door.

"The Avatar can't speak to Avatar Roku!"

Shyu and the Fire Sages lined up and begin to fire at the door, unlocking it as it slowly opens. However, what was behind the door was Momo.

The Fire Sage leader's eyes widen in shock.

"IT'S A TRAP!"

Without thinking, Katara and Sari grabbed the rug underneath the Fire Sages and yank it from the Sages causing them to fall.

"Now Aang!" Katara signals.

Aang jump out of his hiding spot and begins to sprint towards to the room, but he was grab by the collar and was put in a headlock. He looks up to see Zuko.

"The Avatar is coming with me!" Zuko roars.

"Oh no he's not Scar Face!" Ricky yells.

He jumps over the Fire Sages and punches Zuko in the face releasing Aang from his grip. Aang then trips Zuko and begins running towards the door as the door closes behind him. He looks to see a light above the statue of Avatar Roku, he look around with confusion on his face.

"Well I'm here, so what's taking so long?"

It was then the light hits Roku's head and Aang was then engulfed by light and right in front of him was Avatar Roku and the golden winged lion.

"It's good to see you Aang", Roku spoke.

Ricky, Katara, Sokka, Sari, and Shyu were chained up on the pillar, seeing Zuko and the Fire Sages trying to open the door but to no avail.

"Why is the door not opening?" Zuko demands.

"It must be the light", the Great Fire Sage explains, "Avatar Roku won't allow us to enter."

The Fire Sage leader looks back at the prisoners and looks down, literally, at Shyu wooing pity in his face.

"Why have you betrayed us Shyu?"

Shyu looks up at him, not answering. Zuko then walks towards him, grabbing his collar aggressively.

"Why did you help the Avatar?!"

"Because it's the Sages' job and it's still is." Shyu answers.

"I'm glad the Fire Lord will understand once we bring you in traitor." A voice chimes in, revealing to be Zhao.

"Commander Zhao!" The Fire Sage gasp as the sages bows.

Zhao grins maliciously and looks at Zuko. "And Prince Zuko, a noble effort but it didn't last for long."

The sages step aside and grab Zuko.

"Two traitors with one stone, the Fire Lord will be pleased."

"Well you're too late Zhao! The Avatar is inside and you can't get inside!"

"Doesn't matter, one way or another he has to come out." Zhao smiles sinisterly.

Ricky gulps silently watching Zhao walking straight towards him, kneeling down at his eye level.

"So, you are the 'Legendary' boy who can bends blue fire." Zhao rhetorically asks.

Ricky gave him a sneer and grits his teeth with anger across his face. He spits at Zhao's face, causing the Fire Sages and Zuko to gasp in shock. Zhao didn't do anything, wipes the spit off from his face and stood up from his sitting position.

"Well then, someone has lost his manners. Once I capture the Avatar, I'll give him not only two traitors and the Avatar but a little gift as well."

Ricky growls, not letting his eyes separate from Zhao.

"Now listen Aang, we don't have much time. You remember my dragon?"

Aang nods his head, "Yeah, he's the reason why he led me here. But what does this have to do with me?"

"Listen a hundred years ago, Fire Lord Sozin used a comet to harness his powers to devastate the other nations."

"So that comet gave the firebenders a boost?" Aang raise his eyebrow.

"More than ever you can ever imagine."

"But what does this have to do with the war?"

Iroh's face begin to turn from his calm face to a concern and serious one.

"Listen closely, Fire Lord Ozai will use the same comet to win the war and it will arrive at the end of summer. If you do not stop him, the world will be destroyed."

Aang's eyes widen in horror, he needs to stop the Fire Lord from taking control of the comet's power. But one question remains.

"But what does this have to do with Ricky?"

The lion then walk towards him and finally spoke.

"Listen Avatar Aang four hundred years ago, the very same comet appeared and a threat was inevitable. A figure, forgotten to time, came to aid Avatar Kyoshi to stop the threat. This figure came from the same world as Paul Cole Richards, but he came from a different time."

Aang didn't know how to react to it, all the stories from Monk Gyatso was true. He needs to master all four elements before the end of summer.

"But how am I suppose to master the other elements? I don't have enough time!" Aang questions.

"It only take years of practice and discipline, but if this world needs to survive, you must finish it until the end of summer." Roku warns Aang.

"But I have so many questions, how am I suppose to contact you?"

"You will find a way Aang", Roku reassured, "But now the solstice has come to an end."

The door slowly begins to open, Zhao and the Fire Sages stood in front of the door.

"Once the Avatar steps out of the door, unleash everything you got!" Zhao orders.

White eyes glowed from the darkness and then the Fire Sages and Zhao begin to launch a huge flame. Katara, Ricky, Sokka, Sari, and Shyu's eyes widen in horror as they see the flames engulf their friend.

"AANG!" Katara screams.

But what no one expects, was the flame being put out within seconds showed Avatar Roku with white glowing eyes. Zhao's eyes widen in total fear and begin to step back, next to Avatar Roku was the golden winged lion. Shyu was surprised to see the previous Avatar next to the mighty beast.

"Avatar Roku."

The lion roars begin to shake the temple, spreading its wings as the force of the roar pushed Zhao and the Sages and breaking the chains holding the Gaang. Roku begin to move in a circle motion and blast the room with burning fire, causing the room to collapse.

"We need to get out of here! The temple is going to explode!" Shyu warns.

"Not without Aang!" Ricky spat out.

Zhao begins to blast at the winged lion, but the flames showed no affect to the powerful spirit as white sparks and static came from his mouth and charges at the Fire Sages and Zhao. Suddenly, lava came out of the floors causing the temple to collapse. Zhao and the Sages used their firebending to escape the falling temple, Zuko began to fall to the ground as the winged beast came towards him. The beast stops as it looks down at the scarred prince showing no signs of aggression. Zuko didn't know what to do, but he could do was to stand still and do nothing. The beast roars in his face and then disappear without a trace. Zuko didn't know what to think, but he begin to run away from the falling temple.

The sun begin to set, Roku exhaled heavily as a bright light consumed him leaving nothing but the exhausted Aang. Ricky quickly ran to him and pick him up and ran straight towards his friends.

"We got him." Ricky said.

Aang's eyes groggily open, looking at his friends and the room.

"Where's Shyu?"

"We don't know", Sari answers, "But we need to get out of here."

Aang nods as they begin to walk out of the temple but a pillar collapse in front of them, causing the girls to scream. It was then a bright light shine behind them, Ricky turns around to see the winged lion standing firmly.

"Do you need help?"

Ricky and his friends nod as the lion came to them as the temple begin to collapse around them. The temple fell to the ground with lava engulfing the temple, the winged lion flew across the sky with the five kids on its back, with Appa and Momo following pursuit it. Zhao look up with anger across his face.

"No Prince. No Avatar! All I got is five SPIRITS DAMNED TRAITORS!"

"But Commander Zhao! Shyu was the ONLY traitor!" the Great Sage argue.

"Well save it for the Fire Lord, you are ALL traitors! Take them away!" Zhao orders his soldiers.

The soldiers grabs the sages as he look up to see the Avatar flying away. Zhao was more determined to capture the Avatar and the strange boy. Dead or Alive.

The winged lion landed on a small island, far away from the Fire Nation as the kids got off of the spirit. Katara looks at the golden spirit and bows down to him.

"Thank you for helping us Spirit", Katara spoke.

The lion bows his back at Katara.

"It is always a pleasure to help the humans."

Aang looks at the spirit with a smile on his face, but then he heard a roar coming from behind him. He turns around to see Appa landing and Momo flying off of the saddle.

"Appa! Momo!" Aang smiles.

Ricky smiles to see that everything was alright, but he couldn't felt that something's wrong. He felt a warm, comforting touch on his shoulder causing him to slightly jump but felt strangely calm down from the touch. He looks to see the winged lion, almost reminds him of Alsan from the Chronicles of Narnia books his father read to him when he was a child. The spirit puts his paw down and begins to walk away from him and pass right through Appa. Ricky look at the size comparison at the spirit and Appa, the lion was just as big as the six-legged bison which caused Ricky to look at the spirit in awe.

"Listen everyone, there isn't much time now. A comet will arrived at the end of summer and Fire Lord Ozai will use its powers to win the war. You must help Aang to master the elements before the comet arrives."

"But how are we going to do that?" Sokka asks.

The lion raises his paw and then places it back down.

"You will in due time Sokka, but the only who can help him stop is Paul Cole Richards. If the Avatar fails, only Richards can stop him."

Ricky rubs his arm, cringing to hear all that about him.

"Don't you think that's a bit Gary Sue much?" Ricky questions.

The golden spirit chuckles at Ricky's question.

"To you it may looks and hears like that, but you are not a 'Gary Sue'. You are only human. You have flaws like everyone else, but I have faith in you.'

"But why him, no offense", Sari points at Ricky.

"Because he must prepare to fight his inner fears and demons. Like how he went in and put out the fire in Kyoshi Island and help the earthbenders on that isolated prison. Those are just his personalities of what he is, but there will be times he must face his demons. Only in due time."

No one argue back, listening to the spirit's word and knowing that he might be right.

"Richards. If the prophecy didn't exist, the Avatar will still have to stop the Fire Lord from winning the war and time would take an alternate path. This timeline or Alternate Universe your scientists theorized, is one of many. Remember that children. You and only you can stop this."

The lion's wings spread like a graceful crane and the flew up into the night sky, leaving the Gaang behind. They still can't help but to admire the spirit as if it is one of a kind.

"So what now?" Sokka ask, not removing his gaze to the sky.

"We have to reach to the North Pole for me to master waterbending", Aang informs them, "And figure more about this prophecy Ricky is somehow involved."

They nod in agreement as they begin to set their sleeping bags and begin to sleep.

"Hey Ricky", Katara whisper, "Is it alright if I can sleep next to you?"

Ricky blushes a bit, but nods his head. Katara placed her sleeping bag next to Ricky's and begin to sleep deeply. Ricky looks at the others, Aang was also sitting next to him as well, but he didn't seem to mind if any of his friends to sleep next to him. He lays down and looks up to the sky, hoping he could find a constellation he could recognize. But he hasn't seen this much stars in all his life, including the galaxy lying across the entire night sky. His eyes begin to droop and begin to sleep soundly.
