Ok folks something will happen on this chapter and it will be a bit weird! You know I believe paranormal stuff so beware!
How Joana will cope with her injuries, will survive or die, How her family will cope with all this? How Optimus will react?
So many questions just for one answer...
I will not tell you things, could spoil this chapter for all of you.

Between worlds
All are visibly worried about Joana's condition, she's in a drug-induced coma for not to due the serious injuries she sustains, the pain is much if stays awake.
When was admitted to the hospital was in cardiac-respiratory arrest, had to be reanimated and attached to machines, and was admitted to the operating room to be able to deal with the trauma that had suffered during the attack.
The doctors who treated her were able to see the severity her injuries, head trauma, a punctured lung, two cracked ribs, a broken arm with an exposed fracture and bruises on the face.
"It's a miracle she survived an accident as serious as this, she should be in pretty bad shape." Observes one of the surgeons, "in fact you're quite right, but what saved her was the seat belt!" Agrees one of the surgeons, "the paramedics managed to stabilize her here, since she was admitted with a cardiac-respiratory arrest, and they had to revive and tube her before giving entrance to the operating room."
They saw the Lusa's girl tattoos, "even the tattoos are unharmed, despite the condition of her clothes." And continue to treat her.
The operation lasts a few hours, and she took a blood transfusion to replace what she lost, and they decided to induce the coma for her not cope with the pain, when finish of operating her.
"We have to break the news to the family who's out there, they still don't know anything." One of the doctors left the room towards the awaiting room, the surgeons continue deal with Joana.

When he arrives, sees that everyone is sitting up or lying down, but a woman is standing looking towards to the emergency room, he approaches.
"Madam, you are her relative?" Graça looks at the doctor, "I am her mother doctor! I want know my daughter condition." He just says, "I bring you good news." When Optimus hears the doctor goes to her side, using his human holoform, he wants to know about Joana.
"We apologize for not having informed you earlier, because we were busy saving the life of his daughter Mrs..." The other just says, "Graça De Vasconcelos doctor ..." The doctor just says, "Edgar Morrison." And look at the man who is next Graça.
"Your daughter was admitted to this hospital in cardiac-respiratory arrest, being reanimated and successfully stabilized, but had to go in emergency surgery to due with serious injuries that she was sustaining." Graça asks, "what kind of injury Dr Morrison? She escapes this? " He continues.
"She had a not-too-serious head trauma, a punctured lung, two cracked ribs, a broken arm with a exposed fracture and some bruises on the face, and lost a lot of blood. She was operated on to treat these injuries that could be worse if she didn't have the safety belt. " Graça asks again, "she's out of danger Doctor?" He replies, "For now yes Mrs De Vasconcelos, her heart stopped for a moment, it was too weak and he could stop again, and due her blood loss had to receive a blood transfusion, so the next 24 hours will be very crucial, right now we have to wait and then we do the final prognosis.
We had to induce her a coma to not deal with the pain, will be easier on her recovery. " Graça sigh of relief, "thank heavens!"
Morrison just says, "Someone or something is watching your daughter, Mrs De Vasconcelos, then we will inform you." Graça turns to him, "when can we see her?" She listens, "tomorrow." And Morrison left the awaiting room.
All she says those who are present, "Joana sustains very serious injuries, but will survive." Lennox sigh of Relief, "it's a miracle she survived." Graça raises her hand, "I am not finished yet, for the time being is free of danger, but the first 24 hours will be very important for her recovery.
The Doctor told me that they had to induce the coma for her not to deal with the pain and that would easy their recovery. Then we will know more. " Optimus says only, "I will stay here with you Mrs De Vasconcelos, I want to be aware of Joana's condition." She turns to him, "I appreciate your concern Optimus, but is not necessary." He blurted out, "But I would rather stay, you can't persuade me or otherwise." She grumbles, "Fine...fine, I can't argue with you."
And sits on the bench, "Now is just pray that these 24 hours pass quickly." Optimus leaves his holoform active, Graça leans against him, she's tired. Emmanuel is also relieved, and goes to the restaurant to get some food to those who would stay overnight in the hospital.

Joana is transferred to an isolated bedroom at the request of Lennox and Optimus, who put a soldier at the door to watch, Drift is assigned to guard the hospital exterior, they never know what the Decepticons will try next if discover that Joana lives.
In the hospital chapel
Albertina is praying, asking God to guide her cousin on this hard probation, and to bring her to the world of the living, the Portuense stay there all night.
While sleep feels someone touching her on the shoulder, "You are Joana's De Vascocelos cousin?" Albertina opens her eyes seeing a young blond girl, "who are you?" She extends her hand, "Tessa Yeager, Drift told me about you, and also told me you were here!" Albertina motions to Tessa to sit, "Thanks Tessa Yeager." The other girl just do that, "I arrived about 20 minutes ago at the hospital, Optimus gave me some feedback of everything ..." The Portuense just says, "Albertina de Vasconcelos, but you bring news right?" The other nods, "Yeah, she escaped but sustains serious injuries, I think they induced her to a coma." Albertina's look gets more intense, "Joana will survive, Miss De Vasconcelos." Albertina cries of joy, "thank heavens that she survived." And embraces Tessa, "thanks for the news!" Tessa reciprocates the gesture, "she is my friend." She Mumbles.
Joana's room.
Joana's body is immobile, but her spirit isn't, she could see everything, including her rescue and resuscitation.
She sees a light and follow it until it goes into a very dark place, but what is that place,and why is it so dark? She can't see anything in front of her, not even herself.
Then starts seeing flashbacks of her life, including her more recent past, the happy life she lived with Jazz, Tears come to her eyes.
"Jazz."
Suddenly goes dark again ...
"But what's going on here?" Question intrigued.
Looks like someone is mocking her, then there's another flashback, and the expression changes to pure terror ... She sees the moment when Lockdown appears and provoke them , see the confrontation of Jazz with him, when he threatens to kill her, and Jazz went to defend her, when she hits him with an iron bar in his ankle, which leaves Lockdown infuriated and advances to the kill.
See Jazz defending her ,screaming her to escape, but she doesn't obey preferring to stay and fight while listening to the horrible words out of Lockdown's mouth, and the worst time ever had in that fateful day; Jazz's defeat and his brutal death, and when the bounty hunter removes the spark of Jazz staying with it as a trophy.
"Stop showing me these horrible images, I've suffered so much for losing someone I love." And falls to the ground, beginning to cry as she never did.
She cries uncontrollably when sees those horrific images, "what did I do to deserve all this my God? I'm being punished for loving a Cybertronian? "When look around, everything disappears including the horrific images.
She looks around, everything is so dark she can't see anything, "I'm sure I'm dead, or worst in Hell!"
A bright light appears but while she approaches starts to disappear, and find herself in a meadow full of tall grass, lots of flowers and clear blue sky, "Must be the Paradise." On a hill in the distance sees two figures, and walks up to them by taking the greatest shock of her life.
"It is not possible!" A woman approaches, "Finally you arrive." Joana begins studying the young woman, she seems very familiar, "who are you?" The other loose a smile, "you don't recognize me child?" Joana puts his hand on my mouth in shock, "great Grandma Gracinda?! B ... but how? " Gracinda smiled, "Oh my daughter, good to see you! I think being here has its advantages. " And loose a little smile, then look at her from top to bottom, "you look beautiful Joana, and the dress you're wearing suits you well." Joan look at her clothes, bring a plain white dress with lace around, similar of Gracinda's, and the fabric is soft to the touch, "I thought I was in jeans and a tunic!" But she looks around, "Well here the fashion color is white, and your clothes were a mess, and I think the dress suits you well!" Joana does another question, "am I being punished for doing what I believe or love someone who's not from Earth?" Gracinda shrugs her arms, "Oh ... Jazz? Nah I think God would not do such a thing! " Both walk, "but I can tell you that Jazz is a outstanding Cybertronian!" And continue to walk slowly.
"Grandma you are very pretty, always met you as an old lady, but I never thought I'd see you so young!" Gracinda only jokes, "I'm not bad for an 105 years old lady huh?" Joana laughs, "Yup, you are great Grandma." And they laughed.
"Where am I, in Hell or in Paradise" She hears a very familiar voice , "None of that, you are between two worlds my love!" She sees Jazz in all its splendor, "B. .. but how between two worlds? I don't understand. " But Jazz explains, "You left your body right now, and I know you feel lost ..." Then open his arms, "Joana ... come here." She is hugging him crying, "Oh Jazz ... I missed you so much!" He caresses her face and long black hair, "Also I my love ... sorry not have survived." And give her a kiss full of passion, Joana deepens the Kiss, clinging to the Mech, feeling every detail.
"Jazz." Finally both break the kiss.
"Wow ... you're still awesome as ever." He shoots her, "and you are beautiful as ever." And they both laughed.
Joana looks around, "If I feel lost, what am I doing here, which is the purpose of me being here?!" Gracinda explains, "so many questions for only one answer my daughter!" Joana is very moved, "thanks for supporting me on this." And embrace them, "those words are very important to me." But you proved to Decepti-thurds that you are hard to crack, throughout the attack. " Joana raises her brow, "How do you know?!" Gracinda opens his arms swirling, "remember that here we see everything child." Joana gets a little embarrassed, "Oh I forgot." Gracinda gives a little smile, "crazy as always." Jazz approaches of Gracinda, "Oh Yes." Joana looks at both, she embraces her great-grandmother and gives a peck on Jazz's lips, "but I can tell you that Optimus Prime is a nice piece of robot!" Jokes, but Jazz correct Gracinda, "A Mech... a Mech Gracinda." She only let a smirk, "Oh Yes ... and I think he will do rave you with pleasure Joana! His...ahem... is huge!" Joana puts her hand on her forehead, embarrassed, "spare me the details Grandma! I will have the opportunity to see his ... "phallic tool". " Continuing embarrassed.

Then raises her head with one of the talons, "Primus wants me to tell you to love Prime, and try to take Galvatron to the right path." She holds her hand, "I will try to do it!" After both alienated the other two, getting a little far, Barricade passes her a talon on the face, "Joana you know WHY Primus put me here?" She leans her head, "but it was not to give you a chance?" He approaches more, "Yes in part, but he did this because he knows that I would do anything for you." Her head, "I know you've always loved me, Barricade and I think I know why Primus gave you a chance."
The Decepticon just says, "Yes ... you guessed, since I couldn't have you, at least don't close your heart to Prime, love him like you've never done it, and as for the bucket head ... he is a lost cause." Joana look into his red eyes, "you've always been my friend, and if ..." He puts the same finger talon on her lips, "Joana I know, and I'm sad about that, maybe didn't work." And that proved that you're a true friend, and like I said before, you saved me." Moments later both return with the other two.
What you've wanted with her ' Cade' grinding her? You know she doesn't need that right now! " Barricade devalues Jazz's reprimand , "Yeah ... Yeah, you are such a aft head"
"Thanks for helping me!" Joana tells to everyone, all three just say, "you have our blessing Joana!" The Lusa girl embraces the three, and she begins to feel something change in the landscape, "it's time to return to life Joana, you haven't reached your final hour! Now God wants you to open your heart to love and want you to live! " Reports Jazz, Gracinda says, "say hi to the guys, and prosper!" The three begin to disappear.
"Jazz ... grandmother, Barricade go back ... I have so much to tell you!" Suddenly she gets in a total darkness but not for long, a light appears.
"Follow the light my daughter." Says Gracinda's voice, and she does exactly that, and moments later is back to her body. That experience was very strange for her, she only heard about but never dreamed of going through.
Feel something in her hands, and recognize what it is, "A Rosary ... I'm sure this is mom's work." Then whispers in her own voice,
"I'm alive." Who's next to her look to the bed making a big fuss, "my daughter has awoken from her coma! Call the doctor! " Minutes later appears Dr. Morrison, "what's up?" Graça points towards her daughter, "She awoke from the coma." He starts to examine her, "it's incredible!"
Joana opens her eyes, seeing everything out of focus, and a very intense light invades her sight,"Turn off the light you moron." Think the girl, "Don't has any damage Mrs De Vasconcelos." Says Morrison while turns off the light, "welcome back Miss De Vasconcelos." Joana look at Graça, she can't talk due the tube in her throat.
Graça hold her hand while the doctor grabs in her medical file, "the girl was i a very bad shape , had injuries that required a lot of care." Morrison has not yet finished talking about, when FirstAid entered using his human holoform , "I see that Miss De Vasconcelos has awoken." Morrison passes him the record, "Yes Dr. awoken by her own" FirstAid is very thoughtful and run a scan with a strange device, "is recovering beautifully, the human body never cease to amaze me." Morrison replies, "Was in a medically induced coma for a month, has done wonders in the recovery of her injuries ." Joana gets bug-eyed, a month? She was unconscious for a month? It seems like only yesterday that the attack happened.
Probably the place where she was, the time must pass differently, It must be the only explanation of that phenomenon.
FirstAid just says, "If awoke by itself, she can breathe without the aid of machines." Morrison calls a nurse, who quickly comes up with everything, "is to take oxygen tubes Dr?" Morrison nods, "Yes." Then look for Joana, "Miss De Vasconcelos, we're going to get this off, if you feel any discomfort, sign to us. " She signs to continue, and the tubes are removed, she cough a little while inspires the air that surrounds her, "Success Dr. FirstAid, the patient breathes normally." The Autobot doctor just look, "of course, her lungs are almost healed." Joana says only with a faintly voice, "Sorry mom." Graça stroke her face, "don't worry about it now!" FirstAid and Morrison came out of there, "we will leave both of you alone."
When both found themselves alone, "daughter, I'm glad you survived." Joana said slowly, "I think I had someone watching over me." Graça smiled, "God watched over for you my daughter, our prayers have been answered." And gives a kiss on the forehead of her daughter, "Now rest, you have a long recovery." And get out of there.
Graça goes to the hallway, watching Optimus's holoform , "we hear that she's awake." The Portuguese woman nods, "Yeah thanks God." Optimus opens the door, "don't strain her too much, she needs her rest." He only responds, "I will." And enters.
When he sees Joana, go to her side, holding her hand, "How are you feeling right now?" She responds with a faint voice, "as if I were hit by your Alt-form." He gives a little smile.
When she is about to grumble he puts a finger on the lips, "don't strain yourself, you need to recover from your injury!" She nod her head, looking at him with a disapproving look, she doesn't like that he uses the holoform, but it's for a good cause and says nothing, realizes that he cannot shrink, for security measures, and outlines a smile, he on the other hand caresses her face.
Optimus sits next to her, "I feared losing you Joana." She holds his hand with her good hand, "don't beat yourself up Optimus." He sees that she's getting very fatigued, "Rest Joana, you'll need of all your strength." She gives a little smile, "later." Optimus crouches giving her a kiss on the forehead, "I'd rather have your real you doing this, but unfortunately you can't." Replied Joana with some weariness, "Everything in good time Joana, now I just want you to sleep." Advises Prime. When closes her eyes falling asleep afterwards, Optimus goes out of there to stay with Graça.

At the Otherworld, Jazz question Gracinda, "I wonder if those two will declare each other?" The young woman says, "relax Mech ... first she has to recover from the accident, then we shall see!" Barricade intervenes a bit incredulous, "You are dumb or what?! It seems you don't know her! " Gracinda says smiling, "Damn, I like you even more Decepticon!" Barricade crosses his arms. " Humphf... " Gracinda looks at the two Mechs, "They both will not outlast, and as you said ... give them time.
I bet then he will jump on her! " And loose a laugh leaving both speechless staring at her, they never thought that the human was so depraved.
In Joana's room everything is in complete silence, she sleeps peacefully, needs a lot of rest to recover from the accident, but is guarded by Optimus's watchful eye and human soldiers.
In her mind, just think, "I need to talk with mother and Optimus about my out-of-body experience." But not at that moment, she's taking a nice... nap.
Funny isn't it? Joana never thought is seeing her Great-Grandmother so young in the Otherworld, and she saw Jazz and our buddy Barricade.
They had to talk with her about love... with a reason, they saw her close her heart to the true love and decided to act.
I never thought that Gracinda was so depraved... "Optimus Tool?" ahahahahah! Try guess what it is folks!
