Hi y'all what up. So here's another chapter and since I have a computer here with me in NJ this is probably one of many chapters that I've had completed ahead of time. Here we go with another chapter that I hope is loved by many of you.

Isabelle P.O.V

I walked out of Clarissa's room and drew the locking rune as mom had instructed before going to my room. I put my makeup bag back on my dresser before changing into a long, curve hugging black dress. It had a long slit that nearly reached my hip and it was strapless, showing off my breasts. I applied a heavy amount of makeup on me and applied some cover-up over my runes that showed. There was a knock on the door followed by Jace's voice,

"Hey Isabelle, you ready yet?"

I groaned before replying to him,

"No, now leave me alone so I can get ready in peace!"

Jace grumbled to himself before leaving. I put on a pair of heels and headed to my moms room. I knocked before entering and waited for a response, when none came and it was obvious that my mom wasn't in there I looked around. After checking her bathroom, the kitchen, and the training room I decided to try the library. Sure enough there she was talking to Hodge. They hadn't noticed me as yet so I decided to make my presence known,

"Mom, can I talk to you?"

Her head whipped to the side and she nodded her head while motioning me to come to her. I swiftly made my way to her and sat down on the chair that she was on. She looked at me curiously asking,

"What brings you here Isabelle, I thought that you were going demon hunting with your brothers?"

I nodded my head,

"Yea we are but there's something that I wanted to talk to you about."

Mom nodded her head, motioning for me to continue. I glanced at Hodge out of the corner of my eye before saying to my mother,

"In private."

She nodded then got up and left the library. I followed her to her room and made sure to draw a soundless rune behind me. I turned to her and clasped my hands together behind my back,

"Clarissa threatened me, and all of us... She also said something about shadowhunters working for Valentine. She said that she could get out anytime and that she was just observing us. I just wanted to let you know in case this was important to you."

Mom had her eyebrows drawn in concentration and let out a deep sigh. She brushed a hand over her face before facing me once more. She said,

"It's good that you told me this Isabelle. But it just doesn't sound like Clarissa would straight out threaten everyone and spill all this information. Did you say anything to her at all? Even if it was a small, 'you're not allowed to leave your room', speech."

I let out an exasperated sigh before saying respectfully,

"I told her not to make any escape attempts so that I wouldn't have to subdue her."

Maryse rubbed a hand over her head and looked at me with an annoyed expression,

"Isabelle you are nearly an adult. This immaturity needs to stop. Your job is to make sure that she doesn't escape and sees the good in us. That way she'll tell us not about Valentine and his plans."

I furrowed my eyebrows at the clave's ultimatum. They didn't give a rat's ads about anything but brining Valentine. They'd even force teenagers to befriend the enemy just to support their petty vendetta. I kept my thoughts to myself and nodded at my mom before leaving. Shadowhunters respected their elders. Unlike mundanes, it was uncommon for a teenager to lash out at her parents.

I walked downstairs where everyone was waiting. While Alec turned to discreetly glare at Clarissa Jace tried to discreetly stare at her. Clarissa seemed oblivious to the both of them and stared awkwardly at her shoes. Jace heard me coming and his head snapped up at the sound of my heels clicking on the stairs. He smirked,

"Isabelle. Decided to join us after half an hour?"

I scoffed an placed my hands on my hips.

"Like you noticed, you were to busy staring at her to notice."

Jace chuckled while shaking his head while Clary remained emotionless. We walked to pandemonium in silence, decked out with weapons and ready to kill.

Clary P.O.V

Once we entered the club I felt not exposed then I really was. Although I was used to dressing skimpily to attract demons it was never me. I was always in someone else's skin so that I was never remembered as one person, never myself.

"On the dance floor to your bottom left."

Jace said over the music, pointing to a small dark corner where many people who probably didn't know each other were making out upon other things. I looked over to where he pointed and sure enough there was a demon trying to lure a pretty girl, most likely until young to be admitted in pandemonium, outside to the back door.

"I don't suppose that I get to use a stele to change my appearance?"

I asked, not wanting my face to be remembered as 'the bitch at the club' for that little girl. Isabelle shook her head. Sighing I held my head up high and strutted over to where the demon had his hand wrapped around the girl who was giggling at something he said. I placed my hand on the demons shoulder and his attention immediately turned onto me. I smirked before glaring at the girl. Although I didn't mean any of what I said I had to make sure that she didn't get harmed by the demon,

"Move it little girl, unlike like you I know how to please a man."

My hand moved from the demons shoulder to his chest as I pressed myself up against him. The girl's eyes widened and instead of crying like I expected her to she just rolled her eyes before muttering the world slit and stalking away. I kept the smile off of my smile off my face, happy that I hadn't hurt her feelings even in the slightest but would still be able to get the kill. I smirked at the demon and pointed at the storage room,

"How about we go somewhere more private?"

The demon smirked but there was something off about it. Instantly I was on high alert and led him towards the storage room. When I opened the door I was shocked at the sight of at least 20 demons all cramped up in the room. Before I had any time to react the door was shut behind me and I was shoved onto the floor. I looked up and smiled,

"You probably shouldn't have done that."

The demon didn't respond as it started to transform into its true form. It looked like that monster that attacked Anabelle in The Sea of Monsters. I cursed myself for thinking of something as stupid as that in a time like this before front flipping back onto my feet and grabbing a seraph blade that was strapped under my dress.

"Now we can do this the easy way... or-"

I didn't finish my sentence as I threw a hidden blade at an unsuspecting demon. It caught him directly in the heart and he withered away to wherever he came from. I whipped out another seraph blade before shouting,

"Iutherial!. Casstiel!"

Both blades blazed to life and I ran towards a random demon that was blocking the door. Instead of attacking him I jumped over him and ran up the wall. Using the momentum I gained from my run I flipped over all of the demons that had rushed at me. Now I had all of them in sight. I gave out a battle cry before running towards them all as they all ran to me. I impaled the first two demons with my blades.

Using their bodies I flipped over them and let go of my swords, grabbing two daggers from my chest. I flung them at the two closest demons before ducking and avoiding a blow to my head.I flung my fists out wildly and smiled when I heard a grunt of pain, signaling that I hit something hard.

I ran back to wear my blades were covered in demon ichor and swooped them up, ignoring the pain that shot up my arms due to the contact. The demons decided to change tactics and slowly surrounded me so that there was no escape. The closer they got the more anticipation filled up in me. Demons like these didn't usually travel in large numbers like these, nor do they think much, it was mainly attack and then think.

The demons started advancing and a plan had already formed in my mind. Just as they were about to charge I went all Xena warrior princess on them. I twirled on one foot and kept my arms out straight, decapitating all of the closest demons. I ran at the remaining demons which seemed to be ten and took my whip from my wrist. I slashed off the head of two demons with literally the flick of my wrist.

Just as I was about to block a blow to my chest from a demons sharp claws the storage room door was flung wide open to reveal Jace, Isabelle, and a scowling Alec. I was caught off guard by their abrupt presence and wasn't able to block the demon who hadn't stopped his actions. I gasped when I felt a burst of pain explode in my chest, I heard my name being called but my full attention was back on the demon. I snarled at him in anger as my energy started to leave me,

"You'll pay."

Without thinking I grabbed the demons arm and discreetly wrote a rune on his arm. He screamed in pain and Dell to the ground. He started laughing before sobbing uncontrollably. He had no control over his actions. The rune had one meaning and I didn't know what had possessed me to draw it on the demon instead of killing him.

Torture.

The effects of the rune wouldn't wore off unless whoever placed the rune on the victim ended their lives which was me in this case and I didn't plan on killing him any time soon. I smiled evilly at him as he writhed in pain. There was a demon who approached me but made no move to attack me. The rest had gone after the Lightwoods. All but him. He made his way towards me before looking at me with his dull lifeless eyes,

"Your brother said to send you a message. He said he'll see you soon and that when he does he'll make sure your incapable of leaving him again. He said to tell you that when you decided to leave you jump started his reign and when he gets you back he'll-"

He didn't get to finish his sentence before I stabbed him in his eye with a bloody dagger. As he howled out in pain I stabbed him once more in his next eye. I was breathing hard and turned around. Alec was helping Isabelle against the few remaining demons and Jace was making his way towards me. Suddenly my chest started itching me and I started to raise my hand to itch it when Jace called out anxiously,

"No! Don't!'"

I didn't hear the rest before I itched my chest where it bothered me the most. I nearly screamed out in pain when I realized what I'd done. The demon blood that was already in my system because of my cut on my chest prevented me from thinking clearly and I had put more into my cut when I had itched it with my ichor filled hand. I fell to the floor and everything went black. But ironically the last thing I saw was gold.
