He froze. His brain shut down. Dear Arceus, is that her? If it was, then what had he done to deserve her? Her ethereal green eyes froze him in his place as she stared down at him, scrolling down from head to toe. He felt oddly nervous, palms sweaty and hands shaking.

Dressed in a dark blue dress shirt, a black vest thrown over it with black slacks and a skinny white tie topped off with neatly polished leather black dress shoes, he looked handsome. But compared to her, in his opinion, he was no more than a peasant. She looked, she looked magnificent, otherworldly, a goddess in human guise.

Handing her a bouquet of flowers, he hoped she liked them.

Larkspur (Delphinium)… the July birth flower, it symbolized open heart and ardent attachment, a feeling of lightness and levity. It was she who convinced him to open up, she her brought out all of these emotions inside of him, making him feel a freedom he thought was gone when he became chained down with responsibilities.

Amaryllis… her namesake, it was a representation of pride, determination, and radiant beauty. She never gave up, even when she was given the opportunity to forfeit, her pride as a trainer and coordinator stopped her, and it was her determination and that of her pokemon that made her a champion. It was her beauty that caught his attention first, that and her eyes.

Queen Anne's Lace… sanctuary, she was all of this to him, everything he ever needed, everything he loved, she accepted him for who he is, and he accepts her, faults and all.

Gladiolus… strength, moral integrity, infatuation, it mean the recipient pierced the giver's heart with passion. It was true.

She was striking. From her beauty to her personality to her heart, she drew him to her like a child to candy, she was his addiction.
