Ok, so I know that I haven't updated in a really long time, and I am going to try harder to not procrastinate….. but any ways, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEARS!
I can't make any promises, but I might, just might, if I get inspiration, get one last chapter in before 2014.
Have fun reading, and enjoy AllenxRoad! ~Inferno
Once Allen and Road had eaten their fill, Road decided to show Allen around some more. Allen was more bored than anything, which definitely wasn't a good thing when Allen was in his Black form, but Road was enjoying herself greatly. To her content, Allen had let her drag him everywhere, and had yet to protest to the fact that she had yet to let go of his hand. By now, Black Allen knew what was going on, and he planned to do something about it.
Road, still pulling him was walking down a seemingly abandoned hallway, trying a 'shortcut' to get to their next unknown destination. Allen took this as an opportunity.
Suddenly, Allen stopped in the middle of the hallway, flinging Road over towards the wall.
Trapping Road between his arms, he looked down upon the shorter girl in front of him.
"Now, I think that we have been in this situation before, have we not?" stated Allen playfully, staring down at his counterpart.
Road, who was now flustered and not quite able to speak at the moment, only looked up into his eyes. Her heart beat, which Allen could feel in her wrists, was frantic.
The white haired Casanova slowly brought his head down along her face, his lips just barely brushing her face as he did so. This insured that Road was now frozen in place, unable to move. Not that she really wanted to.
Without looking, Allen took both of her hands in one of his and moved his free hand down to wrap around her slim waist (he never figured out how she stayed so skinny, considering how many sweets she ate).
With the young girl firmly in place, Allen brought his lips hard against hers. She responded immediately pushing against him hungrily, wildly. Both of them were caught up in their own world, neither paying much attention to anything else.
"You two are really going at it, aren't you?" came a sudden voice to their left. To be more specific, it was right beside them.
Startled and now off balance the couple toppled over within seconds, landing in a heap of limbs on the floor.
"You guys really shouldn't be doing that where people can see you. You guys are supposed to be like siblings. Plus, you never know when someone might go and tell dear Sheril. I know that I, personally, would not like to suffer the wrath of Sheril when it comes to Road."
Now that they were sitting upright, Allen and Road could now see there guest. Leaning against the wall, wearing an impish smirk on his face, was Fildora. His blue hair was spiked up and his elf like ears showing, which only made Allen's belief of him being an actual elf stronger.
"What do you want Fil?" whined Road, rubbing her head which had been hit in the fall.
"Oh, I was simply taking a stroll when I happened to to hear a suspicious thump. I, being concerned, simply came to check it out. I did not expect to find you two snogging, but I decided to make the best of it."
"Well, what do you want?" asked Allen, who was now getting slightly annoyed at the blue haired Noah.
"Nothing much. I was just thinking that this would be a great time to gather some data on you, since no one really knows much about you," stated Fil as if it were obvious.
"Now that you know, SHOO!" said Road angrily, not able to hold down her anger at not getting what she wanted. And right now, all she wanted was for Allen to kiss her.
"I don't think so," mocked Fil, "You might not get in trouble if I tell Sheril about this, but Allen sure will. And you wouldn't want that, now would you?"
Allen and Road both paled at the thought of the over zealous adopted father.
"So, what would you like?" asked Allen.
"Right now, I am just revealing the feeling of Road being in debt to me, since it doesn't happen often."
"What do you want you impish jerk!" demanded Road.
"Nothing at the moment, but you just wait. Oh, and I suggest that you start moving, 'cause Sheril is looking for you right now and he is coming this way. You wouldn't want him to get suspicious, now would you?"
Allen got up quickly, and reached down to pull his young companion up too. When they were both standing, they ran.
The Black Order: Kanda
Kanda paced.
When Kanda started pacing, there was definitely something going on. Lavi had been watching him go back and forth for the last ten minutes, and he had yet to show a sign of slowing down.
If Lavi had to guess what Kanda was thinking about, it would probably be the same thing that he was thinking of.
Allen.
To think, only a few weeks ago, Allen was with them, oblivious. They certainly had not expected the reaction that they had gotten from him. Where they right to keep him in the dark, to trick him? As a bookman, he had no say in the matter, he just followed orders.
From what Kanda was doing, Lavi could tell that the blue haired samurai was really tearing himself up inside about it.
No one could have expected the past that Allen had. Had they been informed of this, they might have treated him better, maybe tried to change him for good instead of waiting for him to break.
"Why was I so blind!" yelled Kanda suddenly making Lavi fall from his seat.
"I thought that he was just like everyone else, but of course, that stupid idiot had to hide from us! Where we wrong to follow orders? He actually cared about us, and we just threw him away!"
Kanda continued to rant for a few minutes, letting everything that he had been thinking manifest into words.
They might have actually gotten along ok if he had known. But no, they had to keep it a secret. If Kanda had somewhere else to go, he would have left the order by now, but this was his only home. He still agreed with what the what the Order did, but just not with how they did it.
If only things were different. If only he hadn't been….. no, he wouldn't think about that.
If he ever met Allen again, things would be different.
Even if Allen didn't believe him he had to say it.
He, Yuu Kanda, was sorry.
Black Order: Lenalee
Unlike her counterparts, Lenalee wasn't pacing, nor pondering what may have happened or what it might have been like to have Allen as a friend.
No, she was happy.
She loves everyone in the order, and has always been nice. That's just how she is. But she didn't see Allen as a friend. No, she saw him from a different position.
He was an enemy.
A time bomb.
A monster.
An accident.
He was a threat to all of her friends. She thought of him as a spy.
But of course, if anyone saw her interacting with him, they wouldn't have seen any of that. No, they would have seen a loving friend, caring and laughing. Always asking about how he was and if he was ok. Secretly, when Lenalee asked if he was alright, she wished that he would say no, or even that he wouldn't be able to respond at all.
It was her little secret. Her deepest, darkest desire. If he were to die, she would watch him. Of course, for appearances, she might have shed a tear or two, but only one of two.
The next time that they met, there would be no sympathy, no calm words, only wrath.
Only revenge, for making her pretend.
Only fury, for all of her frustrations.
Only pain, for it was all he deserved.
