Almost at the end. I hope everyone is enjoying this so far, though enjoying it might be too big a word considering how the fic is going.
If there are any confusion moments in this chapter, such as I say something that a previous chapter said otherwise, let me know.

Cat POV
"What are you doing out of prison?" I asks, back against the door, wishing my mom hadn't left as I was heading up to the door.
"My father's laywer and attorney got me out on bail. Don't be afraid." Jade says, noticing how I'm acting. "I'm doing this for us. I'm getting Vega out of the way so we can be friends again. Everything will go back to normal. I promise." She says, walking past Tori's bleeding body and advancing towards me.
"What did you do to Tori?" I asks, jumping to the side and slowly heading towards the kitchen, hoping to keep distance between us.
"It's okay. She's not a problem for us anymore." Jade says, walking towards me, eyes on mine. "She'll be out of the way, and everything goes back to normal." She says, holding a hand out to me.
"What do you mean, not a problem anymore?" I ask, starting to cry. "She never was a problem Jade. For no one. You just couldn't accept the fact that we all like Tori because she's nice to us. You think she stole us from you, but it's your fault, not Tori's. You pushed us away, Tori didn't steal us." I say, backing away and inching towards the stairs.
"You're wrong." Jade says darkly, grabbing her scissors from the couch, where she must have dropped them. "That fucking bitch tried to steal my boyfriend, and when she failed, she stole my best friend. She stole my friends, she stole my spot in school. She stole EVERYTHING from me." She says, getting louder as she talks. "And with her out of the way, Beck will be mine again. You'll be my best friend. Everything will be as it was before that stealing little bitch joined Hollywood Arts." She says, clutching the scissors tightly.
"How is killing her going to do anything to help you? You'll only end up going to jail for murder, and everyone will hate you, me especially." I tell her, watching her scissors more than her face. "All you did was screw up your life because you couldn't accept that all Tori wanted was for people to like and appreciate her. She never wanted to steal anything from anyone." I say, shifting so I'm closer to the stairs.
"You're wrong. I know why she came to MY SCHOOL!" Jade yells, scaring me. "That fucking bitch tricked Trina into taking that gargle with something she was allergic to in. She tricked Eikner into giving her a spot in this school. She tricked everyone into thinking she was a nice little girl next door. She's a fake, and a bitch, and now, she's nothing." She says, her smiling twisting to something dark.
Not saying anything, I sprint towards the steps, trying to get away from Jade. Ignoring the yells of Jade for me to not run, I run as fast as I could, hiding in her parents room, spotting Officer Vega's spare gun under the pillow. In an act of desperation, I grab the gun and hide it in the waist of my jeans, barely getting my shirt over the grip when Jade opens the door.
"Don't do that again. You're starting to piss me off Cat." She tells me, holding the scissors like a knife. "Maybe I should teach you a lesson about ignoring me and trying to run away from me." She muses, staring at me with a dark grin.
Not giving me a chance to run or say anything, she lunges at me, scissors arching in an attempt to stab me. Barely getting out of the way, I run past her, slamming the door to the Vega parent's room, before rushing to Tori's room, quietly closing the door behind me, hiding in her closet.
"Cat. I know you're in here." Jade says from somewhere in Tori's room. Taking a quick glance into the room from the blinds on the closet door, I see Jade standing in the middle of the room, looking around. Ducking before she potentially sees me, I hide in the side of the closet, by where she keeps her long jackets and stuff. "I'm not stupid, Cat. I will find you, and I will make you pay for running from me." She says, her tone angry. "Are you really stupid enough to hid in the closet?" She taunts, her footsteps heading towards the closet. "Come on out, little lesbian Kitty Cat." She says in a fake gentle tone. "I won't hurt you. Not as much as I hurt your little girlfriend anyway." She says, opening the closet door. "Where the fuck are you Cat?" She says, her tone angry now.
After she enters the closet and walks past where I'm hiding, I run out, closing and locking the closet door using the lock Tori bought to keep Trina out of her closet. Ignoring her yelling, I run downstairs and grab my phone, which fell out of my pocket when I first started to run from Jade. Finding my phone at the bottom of the stairs, I go to dial 911 when the back of my phone falls off.
"Did you really think that feeble lock would keep me in?" I hear from the top of the stairs. Turning around, I see Jade standing there, glaring at me. "And did you really think I'd be stupid enough not to make sure you couldn't use your phone when I saw it on the ground? I popped the back off and took out the battery." She says, starting to walk down the stairs. "Stop running, and accept your fate. All I'm going to do is make sure you never disobey me again. Vega entering out lives ruined everything. She's gone now, and everything will be as it was before that stealing bitch came to my school." She says, repeating herself.
"No." I tell her, tossing my phone on the ground and backing up towards the kitchen, where they keep their landline. "You killed Tori. You did nothing but abuse me since you cheated on Beck." I say, but before I can continue, she screams.
"I DIDN'T CHEAT ON BECK! THAT FUCKING CANADIAN CHEATED ON ME WITH A NORTHRIDGE SLUT!" She yells, running forward, making me jump and run backwards into the kitchen. "That lying fucking Canadian cheated on me because I wouldn't fuck him. He broke up with me and spread lies, and because no one bothered to question me about it, everyone believed him. Even you, my so-called best friend since the second grade didn't question it." She says, advancing towards me with the scissors out, holding them so tightly her knuckles are bone-white. "And he wanted to ask out Vega. How pissed do you think he'll be at you when you tell him you fucked her and that she's a lesbian? He might be okay with you and her dating, but I can guarantee her won't like those two facts." She says, breathing heavily.
"You're wrong. She told him she was a lesbian and he didn't get angry. Didn't even have anger to hide. He was happy for us." I say, hiding my lower half behind the table in the middle of he kitchen, my hand inching towards the gun I took from upstairs. "Just turn yourself in, please Jade. If you care about me at all, turn yourself in for killing Tori." I say, starting to cry now.
"I killed her because I care about you." Jade says, starting to step around the table, not noticing my hand pulling out the gun. "She's ruined you, and she would have continued to ruin you. I'm just helping. If I turn myself in, who will protect you? Robbie's too weak, and Beck and André care about their next girlfriend, not you. No one else can protect you, but me." She says, tone and eyes showing her anger. "Now come over here, take your punishment, and we can put this entire fucking nightmare behind us." She says, her voice getting louder.
"I'm sorry Jade." I tell her, keeping the gun hidden. I look through tear-stained eyes to see her give me a smile, thinking I'm about to listen to her I guess. "But I don't think I have any other choice." I say, showing her the gun.
"Where they fuck did you get a gun?" She asks, no fear in her voice, just anger. "Hand me the fucking gun." She says, holding out her free hand. "NOW!" She yells when I make no move to do anything.
Moving quickly, quicker than I thought she could, she lunges forward, the blade of the scissors leaving a cut down my arm, but because the action startled me, I jumped back in time to prevent her from doing any serious damage to me, as well as prevent her from taking the gun. Raising my arm, I aim the gun at Jade, tears rolling down my cheeks and jaw now. "I'm sorry Jade." I say again, aiming the gun at Jade's heart.
"You really think I'm stupid enough to think you'll shoot me? You really are a fucking idiot if you expect me to believe you'll shoot me." Jade says, smirking at me. "Lower the gun, before I stab you." She says, raising her scissors again.
"I'm sorry." I say for the third time. When I see her lunge forward again, I pull the trigger. The loud ringing in my ears from the gunshot echoing around me, the sight of a now motionless Jade in front of me forever burned into my mind, as the red spot just under her heart grows, the shocked look on Jade's face staring at me, the scissors in her hand dropping with an unheard clink against the kitchen floor. "I'm sorry." I say again, staring at Jade as she falls to the floor, unmoving.
Cliffhanger, of sorts. Next chapter will show the aftermath.
