I SHALL BE IN QUEBEC FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS SO I PROBABLY WON'T UPDATE FOR A ITTLE WHILE! (I'M SORRY!) BUT HERE IS A CHAPTER!

ISOBEL'S POV

I was sitting on Peter's bed with Nadia, reading a book to pass the time. My life was pretty uneventful since there were no wars going on at the moment.

I wondered what my sisters were doing at the moment. I knew they were at Amity, but they didn't know where I was. I couldn't go to Amity because I was taking care of Nadia.

Nadia was getting over her grief better than I had expected. She'd stopped crying herself to sleep and she didn't freak out over little things that reminded her of her dad. But there was no childish innocence in her eyes. I guess that we were all forced to grow up because of this war.

I glanced up from my book, as I heard a knock on the door. I got up and ran down the stairs, with Nadia following me. I swung open the door and saw my sister, Cassia Robert and his sister, Susan.

"Isobel?" she asked, as if she'd seen a ghost.

"Cassia!" I said, smiling.

"Hello," said Robert, Nadia and I. Nadia was peeking out from behind me, shyly.

"Not to be rude," said Cassia, to Nadia, "But who are you?"

"I could say the same to you, couldn't I?" asked Nadia. Even though Nadia was so little, she still had some of Peter's personality.

"Well, in that case, I'm Cassia," she said. Robert took his cue to introduce himself.

"I'm Robert, and this is my sister, Susan," he said. Susan smiled at us.

"Well, I'm Nadia, Peter's little sister," said Nadia.

"Oh! That's why you looked so familiar!" said Robert.

"Speaking of Peter, now that I've found you, do you want to come to Amity to help overthrow the Factionless?" Cassia asked, almost casually. It was strange how this was now a normal topic to talk about. Then, a cloud crossed my mind.

"Ummm... Well," I said glancing over at Nadia, "I promised Peter that I would take care of Nadia while he's outside the fence."

"Seriously? I can just come with you! I want to join!" said Nadia, glaring a little.

"Nadia, you can't just join like that. Besides, I don't think that they'd let you do anything," I said. "I promised your brother that I'd keep you safe and I intend to keep that promise. We can't get tangled in all of this."

I saw Cassia's face fall. Robert looked at her sadly.

Then, Susan spoke up. "You can come to Amity, but you don't have to join the Allegiant. Then you'll be with everyone, but you don't have to risk anything," she said.

I thought about the suggestion. It was a good idea. It'd also be better for Nadia and her mom to be with a community, too. "I guess that could work."

"Can we bring mom, too?" asked Nadia. "Maybe being with other people will make her happier."

"Well I was just planning on leaving her here, but yeah, sure she can come, too," I joked. Nadia laughed. I brightened a little at the sound of Nadia's laugh.

We both walked up to where Peter and Nadia's mom was hiding under the covers of her bed.

"Mom, get up. We're going to Amity," said Nadia.

Her mom stood up, seemingly just to humor her. She probably didn't realize that she was serious.

We brought her mom downstairs. When she saw my sister and her friends waiting by the door, she stopped moving.

"Nadia, I didn't think that you were serious!" she said

"Come on mom, you can talk to people in Amity. It'll be better than hiding in your room," said Nadia, tugging her to the door.

She sighed. "Okay."

"I don't think we should take the train back," said Robert, looking at Nadia's mom.

I hoped that everyone would be a little happier in Amity.
