Hey guys! Im also sorry for this chapter being short...and the next chapter is going to be short (I have next chapter wrote!) but this story will be finished soon! I'm planning to write more chapters after the story is finished, just short chapters on things like Jace proposing and all that! What do you guys think?

I don't have much time to respond to reviews, bt I want to thank you all for your continued support! It mens so much to me!

(I had to re do this whole chapter because Fanfiction F***ed up on me and deleted most of what I wrote! I'm sorry for the inconvenience! I have no idea what happened and I just saw the error!)

Clary was staring at the huge doors of the institute that led outside. Her family was standing right behind her, except he children.

She didn't have much time to say goodbye to them. Isabelle had left them in their room drawing. Clary was sure she wouldn't have the strength to say goodbye to them.

She wasn't sure how this was going to turn out.

She turned around to take one last glance at her family. If this went wrong, she wouldn't see them again.

Maryse had a blank expression. She was staring at Clary no different from before aside from the sadness clear in her eyes.

Isabelle had tears streaking down her face. If this did go wrong, Clary couldn't imagine how much pain Isabelle would be put through because of their parabatai bond. All Clary could hope was that if the worst happened to her, the pain for Isabelle would be short.

Alec also had tears streaming down his face. Clary was happy that they had become close friends and moved past his anger towards her.

Magnus had his hand around Alec's waist. His face glitter ruined with his own tears. Clary was extremely happy they had gotten back together. They were a couple that should never be parted.

Jace was on the ground in invisible restrains. He was obviously trying to break free, but Magnus had done a good job on having him immobile. Clary didn't want to have to restrain him, but he wouldn't let her go otherwise. Clary could see his golden orbs staring straight at her; a small pool of tears was visible under his head.

Clary took a deep breath before turning to face the doors. She thought of her mother and Luke. They were on vacation and Clary hated that she could be leaving her adopted family to have to tell Jocelyn what happened.

Not having much more time - she was sure her brother was on the verge of fulfilling his threat to burn down the institute – Clary pushed herself to move forward to open the doors. She didn't tell the others her plan. She barely thought it through; afraid her brother would somehow stop her from doing so.

"Good luck..." Clary heard Isabelle softly whisper.

Clary forced herself to keep moving forward. She had stalled enough as it was.

She pushed open the doors, using some of her new strength. Taking the biggest breath she ever inhaled, Clary stepped outside.

He was there and waiting.

I'm really sorry for whatever happened when I tried to update last night! I'm going to have the next chapter up later today! It isn't really action packed, it's more like a filler! I wanted to do a long chapter of what happens after...you'll understand when I upload it! ;)
