Well, right after I finished the last chapter, I realized that I had Sonata...lock them in a bedroom of all places XD Well then...

Sonata leaned against the door as Adagio kept banging and yelling on the other side.

"Sonata, you open this door right now! This isn't funny!"

"This is…by far one of the worst ideas you've ever had…" Aria muttered, closing her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Hey, at least I had an idea. I'd like to see you come up with something."

"I promised to stay out of it! And look, here you go again, dragging me into a situation that was causes by you! Well, whatever it is you're doing, I. Want. Out." Aria growled before turning and walking to their shared bedroom. Sonata winced as she heard the door slam painfully loudly. Sonata looked down, feeling slightly hurt. But she still had a mission to do, and she wasn't going to give up just because of her emotions.

It was nearly an hour later, and Adagio had a while ago ceased her assault on the door. Sonata was sitting on the ground, still leaning against the door, which was the only thing keeping it from being opened. She couldn't lock it from the outside. She let out a sigh, glancing at her bedroom door. She so wanted to go talk to Aria and make her feel better, but she couldn't leave her post. She whimpered and stared into space. As she did, though, an idea came to her head. She stood up quickly and quietly tiptoed to the top of the stairs, hoping not to make any noise that would mean she'd left the spot unguarded. She slowly went downstairs and, now out of earshot, walked quickly to the dining room. She grabbed a chair and brought it to the bottom of the stairs. She looked up at the second floor, now realizing her dilemma. How would she quietly bring a large chair up the stair without making any noise? She sighed, lifting it off the ground as much as she comfortably could, and began carrying it up. Along the way, it would accidentally bang against the staircase, causing the girl to wince in fear of the possibility that Adagio or Sunset might've heard. As she finally got to the top of the stairs, she sighed with relief, bring the chair over to the door. She took the chair and leaned it against the door, the back of it under the doorknob so that, if they tried, the two lovebirds in there wouldn't be able to open the door while she was gone. With a small smile of satisfaction, Sonata left and began making her way to her room. When she got to it, she opened the door ever so slightly. She peeking in and saw Aria lying in the bed, doing nothing.

Sonata looked down before entering the room, going over to the bunk bed that they shared. Aria was lying on the bottom bunk, which was extremely rare. She delicately sat on the edge of the bed and looked at Aria. The girl didn't look back at her.

"Aria...are you okay?" Sonata asked worriedly. "You got all angry out of nowhere..." Aria sighed before looking up at Sonata, a hint of regret in her eyes.

"Sonata, I...it's just..." She muttered, trying to find the right words. "...look, I just got...frustrated. I mean...you just always do this. Whenever you do something, you always tend to drag me into it when I want absolutely nothing to do with it. Because of you, I'm probably going to get an earful from Dagi-or worse-when I had nothing to do with this!" Sonata was quiet for a moment as she stared at the ground, a hint of shame in her expression. But she smiled a bit and glanced over at Aria.

"But at least we'll get an earful together." She said in a slightly humorous tone. Aria just stared at her. Her expression looked like she couldn't decided whether to be angry or not. The corner of her mouth twitched slightly. Finally, after about a minute, Aria cracked a smile, and she let out a giggle, and that giggle turned to a chuckle. Before they knew it, both of them were laughing. Aria shook her head.

"I don't know how you do it, Dusky, but you always know how to lighten a mood." She said as her laughter dimmed down. Sonata giggled, then let out a small shriek of delight as Aria suddenly grabbed her and pulled her onto the bed with her. Sonata giggled as Aria brought her into a cuddle, nuzzling her hair. This surprised Sonata, because Aria was never one to cuddle. "Screw you. Why can't I ever stay mad at you?" She asked. Sonata giggled again, enjoying the rare occurrence.

"Because I'm so cute! And because you love me~" Sonata said in a somewhat sultry tone. Aria blushed before putting her hands to Sonata's cheeks and bringing her forward into a gentle kiss. This only lasted for a few blissful seconds, and when they parted, Aria smiled.

"You got that right." She then paused, looking at the bedroom door. "So, wanna go see if anything's going on between those two?" Sonata blinked.

"Wait, you're actually on board with it now?!" Aria hesitated before nodding. "Oh, thanks, Ari!" Sonata yelped, throwing her arms around Aria, who returned the gesture.

~Meanwhile~

Adagio panted as she gave up trying to have a go at the unresponsive door. Sunset just stood there awkwardly, shifting her weight from one leg to another. Remembering Sunset's presence, Adagio turned to face her. She exhaled deeply before speaking.

"Look, Sunset, I'm really sorry about this. I had nothing to do with anything. For some reason, Sonata told you I invited you, and locked us in here." Adagio said, though she actually knew why Sonata had done this. But would she tell Sunset? No! What would she say? 'Oh, Sonata locked us in here because she wants us to get together because I have a huge crush on you?' Yeah right. So, Adagio just acted ignorant to the fact.

"Oh...why in the world would she do that?"

Shit.

"Well...uh...I don't know." The siren let out a nervous chuckle. "She's just...weird?" Adagio tried to cover, and it seemed to work.

"Ah, well that's understandable." Sunset said with a giggle, feeling less awkward. Adagio let out another small chuckle.

"Yes, well...when we get out-if we get out-I'm going to make her wish she hadn't." Adagio growled. Sunset waved the thought away with a laugh.

"Oh, no, that won't be necessary, I'm sure." Adagio rolled her eyes.

"Well...we'll just have to see. Anyways, while we're waiting for something to happen, why don't you take a seat?" Adagio offered with a small chuckle, walking over to her bed and plopping down onto it with a sigh. Sunset smiled and walked over to the bed, sitting down on the edge. Sunset turned her head away as she blushed at the fact that the two of them were in a bedroom...on a bed...by themselves. Indeed, she was somewhat infatuated with Adagio, but she wasn't quite sure if she liked her fully like that. She didn't know what it felt like, but if it felt like nervousness and knots in your stomach whenever you were around that person, then she preferred not to have it. It made her feel so vulnerable, uncomfortable, and...awkward.

Adagio, simultaneously, wasn't faring much better. The knots in her stomach were writhing tenfold as she lied on the bed, looking at Sunset. She wanted to tell her so badly, and now was the perfect opportunity, but she didn't know if she could bring herself to do it. What if she was rejected? Adagio wasn't used to being the one worried if whether someone would like her. It was always pretty much a given. But here she was, like a lovestruck little schoolgirl who was too afraid to tell her crush how she felt, despite how hard she was crushing. Okay, you can do this, Dagi. You are Adagio Dazzle, a proud siren! You can't let some silly little girl get you putting your tail between your legs! Okay, just...ease into it. Yeah. Don't come off too strong. Just...try to start it off with casual conversation.

"So...uh...Sunset..." Adagio began, picking her words carefully. "...do you...uh...like anybody?"

*Slow, sarcastic clap* Yes, real casual, Adagio. Real casual...
