Chapter 14 : All In a Day's Wurmple

Here's the next Chapter to this great story I made with a few inspirations I thought of myself.

We begin were our two lovers walking along a path through the forest when suddenly a Wurmple drops down in front of May, frightening her. Ash scans it on his Pokedex about it and then checks to look at it evolution and found out it evolves to Beautifly. May decides to catch it and runs off. Ash then chase after her.

Ash catches up to May and then discuss May's plan on capturing it. Then Ash suggests they should stop to eat lunch, but May ran off alone to catch a Wurmple. In the bushes nearby Team Rocket are listening in, and decided that they will catch a bunch of Wurmple, and send one to the boss, using the rest to win all the Contests.

While walking through the forest, May sees a group of Bellossom dancing. While she watches them, Team Rocket was looking for Wurmple nearby. James pushes gently on a tree to check if any Pokemon were hiding inside of it, but Jessie tells them to do it in a more proper way and kicked the tree. A Weedle evolves into Kakuna. The realized that Kakuna evolves into Beedrill. May heard them scream and looks around to see if Team Rocket were anywhere and she sees they are running towards her and tell her to run as they race past her. They escaped when they fell in a small bank and the Beedrill fly right past.

Team Rocket then began their motto, but May notices a Wurmple and runs off before they can finish the first line, to which angered them. Both groups ran after the Wurmple, and May sends out her Torchic, while Jessie sends out her Seviper. The two groups argue for who gets to catch Wurmple, until Jessie makes James send out his Cacnea.

Both Pokemon ganged up on Torchic, but then a Heracross came out of nowhere and stops them in their attacks. The Heracross' Trainer approaches and comments that one vs. two wasn't fair. Team Rocket retaliated by ordering both their Pokemon to attack Heracross, but he orders it to use Fury Attack, blasting them off. The trainer then introduces himself as Franklin and offers to help May find a Wurmple, to which she happily agrees.

Ash placed a pot of stew over a fire to cook while he waited it for it to cook he helped Pikachu practice his Iron Tail. A Trainer then approaches, and suggests they battle, also introducing himself as Franklin. While the other Franklin and May climb a rocky cliff, Franklin explains Double Battles to Ash. He says they have been an accepted form of battling in the Hoenn Region for as long as he could remember. Ash accepts the challenge.

After Ash said the rules for their battle, Franklin sends out Yanma and Ariados and Ash sends out Treecko to join Pikachu. Both sides stared at each other and then the battle starts. Ariados used its String Shot to which it was dodged, and Yanma used SonicBoom. Ash tells Treecko and Pikachu to dodge, but as Pikachu tries to dodge to dodge it. Pikachu gets snared by String Shot. Ash tells Treecko to help Pikachu out, out of the way just in time. Ariados and Yanma used Night Shade and Swift, and both Ash's Pokemon dodge repeated attacks before Pikachu Thunderbolts Yanma. However, as it lands from the attack, it was struck by a direct hit of Night Shade, but Treecko reduced the damage done by knocking Pikachu out of the way.

Ash then tells his Treecko to use Quick Attack, forcing Franklin to focus his attacks on Ash's Treecko. Treecko dodges, allowing Pikachu to use his Iron Tail attack on Yanma. Pikachu then tries it on Ariados, but it fails, and gets knocked away by a String Shot. Treecko then uses Pound on Ariados, and sends it flying into Yanma, who was still recovering from Iron Tail. Both Pokemon faint, causing Ash to declare himself as the winner and they both check to see if their Pokemon are O.K, and congratulate them for the battle. Ash offers Franklin some stew.

Ash was getting worried about May and had wondered where his only training partner has gone somewhere and he sort of missed her presence as if he loves her as she does him. May and the other Franklin are still looking for a Wurmple, when May brings back some Pecha Berries. Franklin spotted a Wurmple, so May sends out her Torchic, to which attacks Wurmple, and then May throws a Poke Ball at it, but Wurmple breaks out of the Poke Ball to her dismay.

Franklin suggested her Torchic to use Ember to which would be highly effective towards it, after an Ember attack was used, May catches Wurmple. Which she celebrated, but then Team Rocket used a grabber to snatch it from her hand and they said their motto and then retrieve the Ball from the grabber. Franklin then sends out his Heracross, which uses Horn attack to pop the balloon, making Jessie drop the Ball.

May runs after it and catches it, before Team Rocket send out their Pokemon again. Seviper starts to use its Poison Tail attack, and Cacnea prepares to use Pin Missile. May tells Torchic to counter it with Ember, but Cacnea dodges and hits Torchic with Pin Missile. Heracross stops the Poison Tail in time by catching it and Franklin tells May to attack with Torchic and Wurmple at the same time.

May sends out Wurmple, but realized she doesn't know its move set. Franklin suggests String Shot which completely immobilized Team Rocket's Pokemon. Torchic's Ember attack scored a direct hit, before Heracross' Megahorn sends them blasting off again.

May ran back to Ash to show him her Wurmple, and hugged Ash and then noticed two Franklins. The Franklin Ash knew was Forrester Franklin, and his twin with May is Forrest Franklin. Forrest reveals he has decided to travel with his Pokemon, and Ash suggested it was lunchtime. May releases her Pokemon so that they can eat as well, but Wurmple eats all of the Pokemon food and Ash's stew before falling asleep.

Team Rocket was seen hanging on a tree branch on the side of a cliff. They started to argue, but stop when they saw a Wurmple at the end of the branch. Jessie threw a Poke Ball and successfully catches it's, but as she retrieves it, Wobbuffet pop out of its ball and causes the branch to break from the weight, sending them all falling down.

Night came and Ash and May were seen together in a tent and they hugged and kissed each other good night and they waited a new day of their Pokemon journey.
