AN: Hey all. My birthday is Friday! So is Idina Menzel's :O
Bella was reviewer 100. Crazy. One powdered donut for you ;) and everybody I can't believe I've made it to 100 reviews. That's mega!
Congrats to NiatheWickedLover for pointing out my favorite line: "Galinda faints at twenty percent off shoe sales." I crack myself up!
And pointers to Elphaba'sGirl for her idea she gave me in a review like two months ago lol. And I'm finally using it in the last chapter-chapter.
Chapter 14- I'm not that Dad.
Frex and Holda had shown up at Galinda and Elphaba'a dorm room to congratulate her on meeting his Ozness.
Boq was attempting to blow up balloons, but could never tie them, so the colored latex would just float around the room until it descended to the rug.
And to add on the the fun the Tiggular gang made an appearance as well. Zaq kept blowing his obnoxious party blower in Raevyn's ear, so in defense she kept hitting his arm with her noise maker.
Kala just looked up to the ceiling in defeat. You would think they would learn by now.
The threesome had decided to take the earliest train back to Shiz as possible, and were now making their way up the stairs to the girls' room.
Galinda and Fiyero in the lead, the blonde turned her key and opened the door. The crowd jumped up with a loud 'Surprise!'
Galinda's eyes widened and Fiyero kept motioning his hand across his neck as he mouthed 'no' over and over. The family didn't get the message, so when elphaba came in the doorway and the surprised her she darted to the bathroom and looked the door.
They frowned. "What was that about?" Jearo asked his older brother.
"It's a long story." He responded. Frex's brow was furrowed. "We didn't mean to hurt her feelings."
Fiyero nodded. "I know, it's just, I don't think she wants to see you right now." He said to his future father-in-law.
Frex was stun. "Why? Did I do something wrong?" He was genuinely hurt.
Elphaba slipped out of her hiding spot, arms folded and her back leaning on the doorpost. "Is Melena's father still alive?" She got to the point.
Frex shrugged. "I haven't been invited to a funeral yet."
Elphaba gave a curt nod. "Talk to him, he'll be happy to tell you." She snapped and went back into the bathroom, slamming the door. Some cringed at the loud noise.
There was an awkward silence before Fiyero turned to Kala. "Hi, mom." He wrapped his arms around her arms. Fiyero was now taller that her, but Kala held her son's arms as to hug back. "Hi, sweetie." She savored this mother son moment, so did Fiyero. At heart he was still a mama's boy.
"Boq?" Galinda got her boyfriend's attention and he smiled warmly at her. "Hey, Glinny." He closed the small distance between them before engulfing her into a big hug. "I missed you." He told her before kissing her temple. She giggled bashfully. "I missed you too."
Frex had a sullen countenance. In his mind that didn't go well at all. In his mind, they would shout surprise, everyone would be happy, she might even hug him, tell them about the Wizard… he shook out of his thoughts.
"Fiyero, what happened?" Frex was desperate. The Crowned Prince had a battle with himself if he should tell him or not, but decided not. "Fae's right. You need to talk to your father-in-law."

Fiyero and Holda's carriage pulled up in front of Albortt's home the next day.
He lived about an hour away from the governor's mansion. He used to live closer, but couldn't bare passing his daughter's tombstone everyday.
Frex walked up to the red door and gave the gold knocker a few knocks. He didn't need to though. Albortt had been watching from the window.
He sighed, knowing this day was going to come eventually. The day where Frex would get suspicious about something with Elphaba, his oldest granddaughter who he only met once when she was two.
Melena had confined in Albortt who Elphaba's real father was, and he had sworn not to tell any one. Something told him that someone let some cat out of some bag, so it was pointless to keep the lie going anymore.
He opened the door. "Come in." Albortt grumbled before walking back into his house. A very confusified Frex and Holda followed him.
"Albortt, this is my wife-"
"Yeah, yeah I saw it in the paper, congrats and good wishes, now sit." He waved them down on his couch and him on his rocker as he lit his pipe and took a deep breath through it. This was going to be a long talk.

"So, you're saying Melena…" He couldn't come to finishing that sentence. His Melena, wasn't his? Albortt nodded.
"And, and Elphaba's… not mine?"
The old man confirmed it with another depressing nod. "Sorry, champ." He tried to be sympathetic. Frex's face was gloomy. You would think he'd be mad or better yet, infuriated, but no, he was just depressed looking.
"In all honesty, I didn't like Oscar." Albortt confessed. Frex shrugged a shoulder. "Thanks?" Finding no happiness in it.
"I wish she didn't get caught up in that corn-fed hick in the first place." He continued. "I really do regret letting the whole thing slide."
Frex shook his head. "You shouldn't." That surprised the old guy. "Why?"
Frex's dark blue eyes met Albortt's muddy ones. "Because then I wouldn't have Elphaba."

During finals you shouldn't be surprised to be hearing students running a muck in the wee hours of the morning. The library would stay open twenty four seven for the convince of young adults wanting to graduate.
But Elphaba of course was already in her bed around nine and Galinda, too tired to look at her book anymore resigned at around ten.
So they both woke up with a start when they heard pounding on their door at midnight.
Galinda wrapped her salmon colored robe around her and opened the door with one hand because her other hand had a hot pink, seven inch stiletto heel in it. Elphaba was behind her with a hair dryer… it was the first thing she grabbed.
The door creaked opened wider and wider until it revealed… Fiyero and Boq. The girls put down their weapons and sighed.
"It's just you two." Elphaba complained before going back to bed.
"We have something very important to discuss." Boq stated. Galinda's dull look was his permission to press on.
He cleared his throat. "Who's a better boyfriend, slash fiancé? Me, or Fiyero?"
Elphaba groaned. "Boys, you're drunk, go home." Fiyero rolled his eyes. "We're not drunk, Boq's just curious." He defended himself.
"Boq's curious?" Elphaba gave him a raided eyebrow.
Fiyero pointed to the munchkin. "Yes, his idea." Elphaba didn't believe him. "Okay maybe I want to know too but for Boq's sake." He pleaded with her.
Galinda rubbed her eyes and yawned. "Can't this wait 'till morning?"
Boq refused to let it go on that long.
"Guys how could we debate on this, it's not like I have an opinion on what a boyfriend or fiancé should even be like?" Elphaba tried to get out of this.
Fiyero extended his arms out while looking ludicrously at her. "Hello! I was your boyfriend for-"
Galinda gave him a silent coyote. "She means I have more experience, so why are you even bugging her." She translated.
Fiyero understood now and smiled at his green girl. "Because, I want to know your opinion-"
"Shut up." She was too tired to listen to her sappy sieve she called her fiancé.
"Well?" Boq was still waiting for his answer.
Galinda took in a deep breath before speaking. "What do you want to know?"
Boq smiled in victory before sitting down on the end of Galinda's bed.
"Who's a better kisser?" He looked at his blonde fiancée and her cheeks reddened before she decided. "Fiyero."
Boq gaped at her as Fiyero fist pumped the air. "Glinny!" Boq whinnied hysterically.
"That doesn't mean I don't love your kisses." She batted her eyelashes for forgiveness. Which of course, Boq gave her.
"My turn," Fiyero declared with a wicked grin "who looks better shirtless?" Boq pouted. "No fair!"
"I actually prefer you both better with your shirts on, thank you very much." Elphaba extinguished the future argument.
"I know who Nessa would choose." Galinda mumbled to herself.
"Wait what does that have to do with you being great guys to us?" Elphaba inquired, but was ignored.
"Who's a better listener?" Boq rambled on.
"Boq." Galinda summed up. Fiyero shrugged off the loss.
"It's one to one." Elphaba acted as if she were sins sort of sport's announcer but instead of being super excited and on the edge of her seat, she was using a monotone tone.
Fiyero and Boq started fighting on who would get to ask the question. Galinda yawned and Elphaba finally had enough.
"Who's better at saying I love you?" She asked and both men were puzzled.
"Good one Elphie!" Galinda encouraged her.
"But… how, could we… huh?" Boq was a loss for words.
Fiyero chuckled, seeing how Elphaba asked an impossible question. "Come on Boq, let the girls have their beauty sleep." He chided him and pushed Boq out the doorframe. Fiyero was about to close it but said something before leaving.
"We may or may not have come from this bar-"
"Mm hmm." The ladies waved him off and he was gone.

A few weeks later and it was already the first week of June. The graduation was a really beautiful event. Morrible talked for ages, Elphaba gave a speech, another professor said some words, all graduates got their diplomas and a certain Ozian official showed up…
Frex looked over at the grey-haired guy standing close to him. "What are you doing here?" He wanted to know, annoyed.
"Seeing my daughter graduate." Oscar rubbed it in. Frex let out an exasperated sigh. This was going to be a long ceremony.
Shortly after the fab five got their diplomas, their families rushed up to congratulate them outside the tent.
"Elphaba!" Hanlynn ran up to her end engulfed her in a massive hug. "I'm so proud of you! I knew you could do it!" She gushed and Elphaba chuckled. Fiyero waited expectantly next to her, waiting for his hug from his little sister.
Hanlynn'a smile faded when she got up to him. "Took ya long enough." Was his only 'congratulations' he got from her. Elphaba snickered.
Later in the carriage that occupied the Tiggular's and soon to be Tiggular they were on their way to some restaurant for some kind of after party type thing.
With all the traffic they were barely moving at all. Fiyero passed time by looking out a window. His eyes widened when he saw a familiar face.
"Hide me! Hide me! Hide me!" He chanted while ducking under the sill. "What?" Elphaba asked.
This was what she heard; "That guy in the hat…accidentally bumped into him the other night… he was drunk… hates my guts."
Elphaba looked out the window to see Fiyero's predator… throwing something at their carriage.
Elphaba acted with reflex and ducked too, before she could realize whatever that dude threw it couldn't hit her because she was on the other side of the glass.
The carriage sped up and made a u-turn. And sitting all smashed up on the dirt road was a powdered doughnut. And standing by it, the guy, holding a certain finger up.
"Is he gone?" Fiyero wondered. Elphaba nodded. "Yeah, by the way he thinks you're number one."

Two problems occurred when they went into the eating facility:
1) Oscar followed them into the restaurant.
2) He sat next to Frex.
And the arguing commenced.
"Elphaba, as your father," Oscar started. Everyone inwardly groaned. Except Zaq, he didn't think he had to do it inwardly. "I am offering to pay for all of your's and Fiyero's wedding." Then shot a challenging look at Frex.
"Well, that's kind of you Oscar but I already said that I would pay for it." He shot him down.
"Frex that's nice of you but as the bride's father I think I should pay for it." Oscar did it again.
"No, no, no, I already promised." Frex wouldn't let it go.
"Fine, you can pay," everyone let out a sigh of relief…too soon. "But I'll pay you back." Back to square one.
"That won't be necessary."
"Neither will you paying for it."
"Neither will you paying for it."
"Check, please!" Fiyero shot up, wanting to leave. Elphaba yanked him back down. If she was going through hell she was dragging him with her.
They wouldn't stop their bickering. Left and right. 'I'll pay.' 'No, I'll pay.' After a while people started to stare. Zaq was done knowing them and sat down at another family's table uninvited.
Kerchack got a great idea and shared it with his wife. "This means we're off the hook. First wedding free, yes!" He shouted in victory.
Kala glared at him. "Or not." Kerchack decided.
Fiyero sighed. Couldn't they just get along? A wedding was pretty expensive, even if they split the difference it would still be a hefty check. Besides, this was the graduates night, not theirs. He could've believe their behaviors. It was getting ridiculous. If only they never met Oscar. So many things wouldn't have changed.
So I decided that this is just the second to last chapter and there won't be an epilogue but instead a three shot or so sequel that will be sponsored later on. Almost done guys! don't worry I won't jet sentimental just yet. Lol review?
