Hello again people! That's right this is a special FRIDAY upload. The reason for this is NO football game and NO marching band competition. Woohoo!

Chapter 13: Operation White Giant Part 1

Wash looked down at the resting form of Agent Texas guiltily. It was his fault she had gotten hurt and he felt terrible about it. The others had told him it wasn't his fault but he still felt bad. Suddenly, her eyes flickered open and she looked at Wash.

"Where am I?" she asked groggily. Wash let out a sigh of relief and leaned back in his chair.

"The infirmary." He answered non-chalantly. She nodded and stretched. They started a short calm conversation about what had happened and about stuff that had happened when she was unconscious. After a few minutes, a doctor came in and asked Washington to leave so he could give Tex a checkup and make sure she was alright. He nodded and left without question and headed for his room.

Washington walked into his room and collapsed onto his bed. He sighed and stretched hearing several pops from his different bones. He looked over to the side and on thing caught his eye. His pistol lay neglected on his desk, no ammo in it and half hidden behind some random paperwork. He slowly got up and shuffled towards his desk. He picked up the pistol and turned it around in his hands. He then holstered the weapon and left his room.

After a few minutes he reached his destination, the armory. He pushed the door open and walked inside. He slowly looked around at all the weapons in the room and walked towards a small bench in the corner. He laid his gun down carefully and sat down. He slowly, painstakingly, dismantled his gun and laid all the pieces across the small workspace. He got to work polishing the cool metal and making the gun seem like new. He then brought out new pieces from a nearby box and replaced the old pieces with the new ones. He then pieced back the gun slowly. Once he was done we walked over to another crate and pulled out a small device. He turned it on and a green laser flashed on creating a small green dot on the wall. He smiled and flipped another switch. This time, a bright flashlight illuminated the wall. He walked back over to his gun and attached it ahead of the trigger. He nodded and headed towards the exit, that's when something caught his eye. He looked over and saw a box that had [FRAGILE] marked across it. He looked around and then headed towards the box. He opened it to see hundreds of extended magazines for the pistol. He grabbed five and shoved them in his pockets. He then ran out of the room.

Wash smiled evilly as he looked at the destroyed targets on the ground. He then looked at his gun and nodded a few times before holstering it once again.

"That was some pretty good shooting" A voice said behind him causing Wash to spin around. He relaxed when he saw it was just Cross.

"Oh hey." He sighed as he leaned back against a wall. Cross came closer and looked at the targets.

"I hear Tex just got released from the hospital." He commented. "She has been cleared for active duty again." He continued as he nodded at the destroyed targets. Wash let out a sigh of relief. At that time an announcement came over the P.A. system calling the top agents and Agent Cross to the bridge immediately. The two men looked at each other then took off towards the bridge at a dead run.

"HAHA! TAKE THAT MOTHER FUCKER!" Cross exclaimed as he reached the bridge half a second before Wash. The top agents looked at him strangely as he did a weird ass victory dance before calming down and walking over to the table. The director cleared his throat before starting his speech. He pressed a button and a hologram of a planet appeared.

"This is Planet XR5-K57 a small planet on the edge of the galaxy. The most common name for this planet however is "Damn this place is cold", or DTPIS." The director said calmly. "The world is entirely made of ice and now it is said to be the stronghold of a detachment of Insurrectionist soldier's. Your mission," he continued, "Is to destroy this force and find any information you can about their movements. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" He asked.

"YES SIR." All the other agents' responded immediately.

"Damn this IS cold." York mumbled as he stepped out of the pelican.

"Tell me about it." North said as he looked around at the barren wasteland ahead of them.

"Why the hell are we landed on the side of a cliff?" South yelled in annoyance. All the agents looked at each other and shrugged. As they walked off the pelican and towards a small path, one of the marines with them slipped and slammed into the ground. His pistol fell out of its holster and discharged when it hit the ground. At this, there was a massive rumbling at the top of the cliff and all of the Agents and marines looked up to see snow plummeting towards them.

"AVALANCHE!" York screamed before he took off down the pathway. The other soldiers followed him as the wave of snow smashed into the pelican throwing it off the cliff and into the valley below.

"Well shit." Commented Wash as they all watched their only source of communication and escape explode against a mountain side. Everyone looked at each other in dismay. Suddenly, a massive chunk of ice slammed into the ground crushing a marine and throwing another of his feet. They agents dispersed in panic as giant sheets of ice slammed into the ground around them. After what felt like an hour, the deadly rain of ice stopped. Everyone was frozen in different areas. The most precarious positioned people were Agent Cross and Agent Washington. They were on a small ledge overlooking a deep trench.

Cross sighed and was about to help say something when a crack was heard. Everyone stopped cold as they saw the ledge holding Cross and Wash form a fracture across its base.

"Well shit." Cross sighed. At that moment the ledge gave way dropping Agent Wash and Cross into the trench. The other agents ran to the edge and watched in horror as Cross and Wash disappeared into the dark abyss below.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO AGENT CROSS AND AGENT WASHINGTON? WILL THEY BE GONE FOREVER OR WILL THEY SOMEHOW SURVIVE? AND HOW WILL THINGS CHANGE WHEN THE FREELANCERS REALIZE THERE IS A MUCH LARGER PROBLEM THAN THE ISURRECTIONISTS? COME BACK NEXT TIME TO FIND OUT.
