AND HERE IS THE NEXT CHAPTER.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR REVIEWS AND COMMETNS, KEEP IT UP, GIVE ME FEEDBACK ON THIS STORY BUT ANYWAY! THIS CHAPTER IS HERE, ENJOY IT PEOPLE. I OWN NOTHING STILL.
ALSO, THERE WAS A COMMENT ASKING WHICH SPIDERMAN IS IN THIS FIC. SO UMM, LATER ON IN SEASON 2, THIS SERIES HAS IT'S OWN SPIDERMAN, SO IT'S JUST THAT ONE FROM THE SERIES. HE'S ONLY IN LIKE 2 OR 3 EPISODES, BUT I PLAN ON USING HIM A BIT MORE.
It was the day after Danielle's birthday. Her birthday went surprisingly pretty normal.
Turned 14, got some presents, spent time with her family, had somewhat of a party with the Avengers, and went to her first midnight concert, which had been totally awesome. Just her, Zia, the twins and Jade at a concert with some of Dani's favorite bands playing.
She had gotten a lot of other presents to, ITunes gift cards, some clothes, a new backpack, a bunch of CDs, some money, a few other small things and of course the tickets to the concert. But that was all from her family, what she got from her friends was quite a bit different.
Tony gave her the latest high tech laptop from Stark Industries, fully equipped with really cool games, a lot of storage space and high speed internet that can access any Wi-Fi network without a password, though Tony had added the Wi-Fi specifically to her laptop only. It was a rather interesting and extremely awesome present.
Jan and Hank got her a dragonfly pendant on a chain, which Dani really liked, a lot; which is saying something because Dani never wears jewelry, but she had worn it to the concert and really liked it. The body of the dragon fly was silver with gold colored gems embedded in it and the wings, also silver, had blue and green gems.
Hulk gave her a hug, which was way more adorable that it should have been. Clint took a video of it.
Clint just got her a lot, a lot, a lot of candy and food, and popcorn, lots of food and a lot more candy and a few good action/adventure/horror movies. ("You're gonna share some of this with me right?")
Thor gifted Danielle with some 'mortal' money that he managed to get his hands because he hadn't a clue of what to get her.
And T'Challa gave her a pair of Katanas, and told her he was going to teach her how to use them. He promised not to make her training nearly as harsh or as intense as his had been as a kid, but she was going to be able to use them well. Dani was pretty excited for that actually, T'Challa was always interesting to train with. And seriously, who wouldn't want to be trained how to use katanas.
Anyway, life was good at the moment. No world crisis, no ghost attacks, no school, and she had a bunch of food to eat, and with the rate she eats food, it'll last her a while- good thing it was mostly non-perishable.
At the moment, Dani was on her laptop Tony had given her, playing an online game called ESCAPE. Not far away from her, Raymon and Damon were playing the same game on their not nearly as cool as Dani's, laptops as well. The three of them sat in Raymon's room playing.
Basically the game is one of those where you are trapped in this world trying to get out, there are hundreds of levels. Each level has like a different setting or theme. You start the level by being trapped somewhere, and as you try to get out of the trapped area, you have to defeat the bad guys, collect all 5 of the key bits, then once you have all the key bits, you have to defeat the big boss of the level, get the key and unlock the door or whatever, which then takes you to the next level.
Apparently, the game took almost 6 years to design and do everything, so it was very high quality and super fun with all the extra little bits that make it addicting.
(So it's basically a really cool version of DOOM from the DP series)
At the moment, Dani, Raymon and Damon were playing on multiplayer mode, and they were only on level 10, but they were kicking butt.
"Ray, you want the fire blast power up? I already have the freeze power?" Dani asked.
"Give it to Damon, I just found a mega punch," Raymon replied.
"Sweet," Damon said as he accepted the power up.
"So this is what you do when you're not kicking bad guy butt? You kick virtual bad guy butt." a voice said over Dani's shoulder.
All three of the teens jumped at the sudden sound of Clint Barton's voice. The ex-super spy smirked at the response.
"Oh, hey Hawk Eye. What are you doing here?" Dani asked, putting their game on pause.
"Got bored, snuck in, been watching you guys play for about the past five minutes," Clint replied.
"So we don't have to stop the game to go kick some super villain's butt?" Dani asked.
"Nope, play on," Clint smirked.
"You could probably join the game from my ZXYBox," Raymon said, gesturing to his game consoul a few feet away.
A moment later a request from the user HawkArrow to join their game appeared on their screen.
"Awesome," Damon said and clicked accept player.
So the group consisting of GHOSTGIRL, HawkArrow, DemOn and Rayshooter began working their way through level 11.
So now would be a good time to explain a bit more while they are playing.
ESCAPE has the players personalize their characters, so they can look how they want them too, but with more of a combat theme, so they can choose between Ninja outfit or a Battle suit outfit with their own color scheme. (Battle suits are like what's in DOOM from Danny Phantom)
Dani or GHOSTGIRL is a Ninja with a mostly black suit but has white designs, no hood or mask.
Damon, or DemOn is in a battle suit that mostly green suit, but all the details red green.
Raymon, or Rayshooter looks just like Damon, but his suit is mostly red with green details.
And Clint, or HawkArrow is a ninja with a fully purple suit with a customized hood to look just like the one on the suit he wears when he's in real life action.
Anyway…. About 15 minutes they were about to finish level 14.
"Look, there's the last key bit! Behind that crate," Damon said.
"Got it," Clint smirked as his character broke the crate and snatched the key, along with the contents that spilled out of the now splintered crate.
"Alright, now where's the Boss monster?" Raymon asked.
"Probably down that hallway," Dani replied.
They moved down the indicated hallway and were met with a large Jackle… you know those Black Dog things from Egyptian Mythology and Anubis has the head of one. It made sence seeing how this level was set inside an Egyptian tomb.
It wasn't as easy as they though it would be. So three level restarts, a lot of yelling and 20 minutes later they were still getting their butts kicked. They were at the point where they knew exactly how to pass the level and beat the boss, they just couldn't do it.
"This would be so much easier if we were actually inside the game," Clint muttered.
"I don't think there's a cheat code for that," Dani replied.
"I wish. I'd be awesome to actually be inside this game," Raymon said.
"Careful what you wish for!" a voice said. Suddenly, all three of the screens went blank, and Technis's face appeared.
Dani's ghost sense went off.
"A little late for that Dani, don't you think," Damon said.
"Hey!" Dani exclaimed.
Dani went ghost and stood up looking at the computer.
"Technis! I thought you were working for Vlad!" Dani exclaimed.
"I am," Technis said, "By keeping you out of the way."
"What?!" the twins, Clint and Dani exclaimed.
Suddenly electricity sparked between the 3 computers and Game Consul, forming a circle around the heroes.
"Technis what are you-" Dani was cut off when the power surged. Everything when white in a flash… then turned dark.
Dani slowly opened her eyes. The world around her was not the walls covered with shelves of multicolored videogame cases that was Raymon's room… it was a tannish stone walls with strange scribbles that Dani realized were meant to be Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Dani sat up, and waited for the room to stop spinning. Once it did, she saw Clint and her brothers sitting up as well.
"Oww, what just happened?" Damon asked.
Dani looked down at herself, that though she was still in her ghost form judging from the hair hanging in her face… she was wearing the ninja suit she designed for her character in the game… but with the addition of a white DP symbol on her chest.
The others were also in their game designed uniforms.
"Uhh, guys…" Raymon said with worry in his voice, "… I think I know where we are."
There were loud footsteps coming nearer to them from down the passageway… and then the ESCAPE level 14 boss monster of the Egyptian tombs level stepped into the light, barring it's fangs and wielding it's spiked spear… the Jackal.
"Well, now's the time to see if it's easier to beat inside of the game," Dani said, looking over at Clint.
The Jackal attacked. It swung it's spikey spear at them several times, but they managed to all dodge it, though just barley.
"So umm… what to we do now?" Damon asked.
"I dunno… beat the monster?" Raymon shrugged as he dodged another swing.
"Something tells me we're not going just get a level restart if we lose," Dani replied.
Suddenly, the Jackal's face morphed into Technis's.
"You got that right ghost girl," he said victoriously, "Here, you only each got three lives or it's game over."
"Technis- oh hey Technis, what's your plan here?" Dani said, suddenly getting an idea, "I mean, it looks kinda interesting," Dani continued in her best 'I'm impressed' voice, but it was obvious to almost everyone how fake it was.
"Well it's quite simple really, I Technis, master of all technology trapped you inside your video game. Now not only do I get my revenge, but you can't get out of here unless you reach the very last level," Technis blabbed on.
"Nice, well then," Dani said and looked around.
They had been playing this game for a while, so Dani knew there was a freeze power up in the crate not far away. She quickly ran over to it and opened it. Hesitantly, she ran her hand through the blue ice ball token. Instantly her hands glowed and she opened fired some ice balls at Technis.
After five ice balls thrown, the power up wore off and the right arm of the Jackal was frozen solid. Technis disappeared leaving them with the original game monster.
Seeing that Dani had already begun playing, Clint got to where the Mega Punch power up was and activated it. He ran up and bunched Technis while he was still partially frozen, making the spear wielding arm crack and fall off.
Getting the idea, Raymon got to the now broken off ice coated hand and broke it, getting a freeze power up as well while Damon got onto the spring board that would launch him up to grab the silver key hanging around his neck that would unlock the next level.
But first, they had to deal with the left hand picking up the spear and being trying to hit them with it.
"Raymon, as soon as the spear goes to the right!" Dani shouted.
"Got it!" Raymon nodded and rolled into his position.
It was a bit different than what they had been doing before they got sucked into the game.
Normally Raymon got the first ice power up, then Clint broke off the first arm, then Damon would collect the second power up, all the while giving Dani time to get in position on the spring board, but on the outside, they had failed at doing so, but it was much different when they were in full control of the body rather than buttons they pressed.
Dani and Clint got it's attention, and the spear was waved in their direction. Raymon shot all five ice balls rapidly at the Jackal, and it froze. The spring board shot Damon off, giving him enough force to break off the second arm, and thus grabbing the key before he landed on the ground.
Taking the key off the Jackal's neck made it power down and it crumbled to dust.
"Alight! Finally, we beat this level!" Raymon cheered.
"Yea, all it took was over half an hour and getting trapped inside the game," Damon said.
"Technis said we had to beat the last level in order to get out, but that could take… who knows how long. There hundreds of levels!" Dani exclaimed.
"There's exactly 450 levels," Raymon corrected, "Plus about 200 hundred mini games and every 10th level has a small bonus level where we can earn better power ups and carry around weapons."
"So almost 500 levels not including mini games," Clint said dejectedly.
"Not to mention we only have three lives each before game over," Damon added.
"Do you think we could contact Tony somehow? He might be able to help. And if Technis is stalling us on Vlad's behalf, there has to be something going on which we can't exactly stop from in here," Dani said.
"Well, he is a computer genius and we are in a computer," Damon said.
"Too bad our ID cards didn't get teleported in here with us," Clint said.
"Who needs ID cards when you're in the internet?" Raymon asked rhetorically.
We all looked at him of an explanation.
"Guys, people can ask to join our multi player group just like we can ASK people to come join. All we have to do is find a shop in the next level, go to the group members tag and send a request to Tony Stark's computer," Raymon said like it was obvious.
"And then hopefully he can get us out of here so we can see what Plasimus is up to," Dani said, remembering what Technis had said about serving Vlad by keeping them out of the way.
"Well then, let's go," Clint said.
Damon nodded and walked up to the door that had appeared after the Jackal's demise. He placed the key in the lock, and the door opened to reveal a swirling blue vortex with a LEVEL 15 sign above it.
They came out the other side of the portal to find themselves in a spaceship with a window that over looked Earth below.
"Of course, Space Ship Level, how original," Damon muttered.
"Well, there's only 500 levels left, they're probably just doing all the generic ones first," Raymon replied.
"I don't care if the levels are original or whatever, we need to find a connection spot," Clint cut in.
"It's probably just around the corner or something. Shops are almost always at the beginning of the level," Dani replied.
It wasn't hard to miss the 'OPRBIT STORE' that literally was right around the corner. They went up, and at first were confused on what to do. Outside the game, they just pressed A when they got close enough to the vendor… so do they just walk up and say Hi when inside the game?
Close. There was a big green button on the counter that said A in the largest possible font. Clint shrugged and pressed it down. A man seemed to melt out of the back wall of the shop and came up to them… well, not a man, a robot that looked strangely familiar to a certain R2 unit from a certain movie.
When it spoke, all they heard was a bunch of gibberish combined with a few vague words.
"*gibberisigh* ORBIT STORE *gibberish *purchase item* gibberish *connect*?" it said.
The big green A button morphed into two yellow buttons. One said 'Buy items' and the other said 'Connect to Internet and Invite friends.'
Dani pressed the connect button. The robot beeped and projected a screen in front of them and the two yellow buttons once again morphed, this time into a blue keyboard.
It took them a few minutes, but the combined computer knowledge between the three of them finally managed to pull up a screen so they could send a message to Tony Stark's computer, which was hard because both Avengers and the Stark computers were highly guarded against forging programs like this game… Tony didn't want just anyone being able to contact him through an online game of whatever every ten to twenty minutes which apparently used to happen.
FROM; DANI COMPUTER TO; AVENGERS COMPUTER
AVENGERS,
TECHNIS HAS SOME HOW TRAPPED ME, CLINT, RAYMON AND DAMON INSIDE THE GAME ESCAPE. WE MANAGED TO FIND OUT THAT IF WE BEAT THE LAST LEVEL WE CAN GET OUT, BUT WE'RE ONLY ON LEVEL 15 AND THERS AROUND 500 LEVELS NOT INCLUDING MINIGAMES.
TECHNIS ALSO SAID SOMETHING ABOUT KEEPING US BUSY WHILE VLAD WENT AND DID SOMETHING, WE'RE NOT SURE WHAT, BUT WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT IF WERE STUCK INSIDE THIS GAME.
DO YOU THINK YOU COULD GET US OUT FASTER THAN PLAYING THROUGH ALL OF THE LEVELS BECAUSE IT WOULD DEFFINATLY TAKE MORE THAN 24 HOURS TO BEAT THE ENTIRE GAME… NOT TO MENTION THAT WE EACH ONLY HAVE THREE LIVES AND WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO US IF WE LOSE ALL OF THEM.
THE COMPUTERS WE WERE PLAYING ON ARE IN RAYMON'S ROOM IF THEY CAN HELP. OH AND WATCH OUT FOR TECHNIS. HE CAME INTO THE GAME WITH US, BUT HE CAN PROBABLY GET IN AND OUT OF THE GAME WHENEVER HE WANTS UNLIKE US.
-DANI
Dani pressed the send button after she finished typing the e-mail. A few seconds later a screen popped up that read. "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU MESSAGE HAS SUCESSFULLY BEEN SENT TO IT'S RECIPICANT. A YOUR REPLY MAY APPEAR TO YOU AT ANY GIVEN TIME IN THE GAME. HAVE FUN. :)"
"Now what?" Raymon asked.
"Well, we could stay here and wait or we can move on in the game and make progress while we wait," Raymon replied.
"Yea, but we don't know what's on this level," Clint said, "And unless Tony replies to us we can't get any cheat codes or something."
They stood in silence for a moment while pondering what to do. Danielle was about to speak up when a beep filled their ears and a large white digital envelope with a 1 in the corner appeared right in front of them, floating at eye level.
"Looks like they got out message," Dani muttered.
Clint reached out and pressed his hand into the envelope. It opened.
A FEW MOMENTS AGO AT STARK TOWER.
Stark, Hulk and Jan were bored out of their minds. No villain attacks, no ghost attacks, no business for STARK Industries to attend to, nothing worthy of getting Smashed. Hank was doing one of his experiments and requested to be left alone, Cap was out on a motorcycle ride and T'Challa was who knows where, probably training or something like that.
So when JARVIS announced that Stark had a message, the three of them jumped at the chance to see if it was anything interesting. And interesting it was.
At first, when Tony saw the 'YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO PLAY ESCAPE!' he groaned. Tony thought he had fixed the problem of random gamers wanting to play on a team with the great Tony Stark. But, he opened it once he saw that it was 1; from Dani, and 2; said HELP! in the subject box under YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED.
"What's this?" Jan asked.
"Apparently Dani's asking for help to play her game," Tony chuckled as he opened the message.
They all read the message.
"WHAT!" they all exclaimed at the same time.
"Wait… how do we know this is actually Dani? What if someone else sent it?" Jan asked.
"It's from Dani's computer… but the weird thing is that three other servers have also partially sent this, which makes no sense…. And they're all from Dani's house," Tony said.
"So what do we do?" Jan asked.
"Send a reply," Hulk grumbled.
"I can do better than that," Tony replied as he began typing commands into the computer. He hit the SEND REPLY button and waited for a moment.
A few seconds later, Dani, with Clint, Raymon and Damon behind her appeared on the screen. They were in what looked like some kind of space station and were wearing the customzable uniforms of the game ESCAPE.
"Tony!" Dani exclaimed.
"And Janet and Hulk here too," Wasp cut in.
"Hi guys, we've got problems," Clint snapped.
"Yea, you're stuck inside a game with Technis," Tony replied.
"And Vlad is up to something, what-" Dani was cut off by an explosion in the back ground of the game.
"What was that?" Wasp asked.
"Uhh, aliens," Raymon replied, looking off screen.
"What?" Wasp asked in a deadpan tone.
"HELLO CHILDREN… and adult, I, TECHNIS, AM HERE TO MAKE SURE YOU NEVER LEAVE THIS LEVEL! HAHAHAHAHAAA" shouted Technis in a deranged tone from somewhere out of the view of the Face Chat screen.
"Great," Dani muttered.
"Dani, do your ghost powers work in there?" Tony asked.
"I-I haven't tried but- AH!" Dani and the other had to duck as what was obviously an ecto-blast nearly took of their heads, "Apparently Technis's do!"
In the game, Dani, Raymon, Damon and Clint were facing Technis and about 4 dozen alien droids, all armed with a gun that shot a yellow laser and kinda looked like a frog/human/robot with a tentacle beard, which were obviously from elsewhere in the Level and weren't supposed to be able to attack players until they left the safety of the small area at the beginning of a level… Technis apparently didn't care about that though as he sent them to attack.
Dani stepped away from the screen allowing her to talk to Tony and her hands glowed with ecto-energy, ready to be fired. Her powers did work in here… well that's a good thing.
Dani began blasting the aliens, which disappeared after 1 of her ecto shots or 2 kicks or 3 punches, each time she hit one, the a little bit of the green bars over their head disappeared. However, Technis didn't seem to have one of these. Not that he needed it since he just stood back cackling as he watched the fight.
"Technis said that we could get out if we made it to the final level. Do you think you can get us a short cut?" Damon asked as Clint went to go help Dani.
"Just give me five minutes and I can get you to the final level, but I'm only going to be able to put you at the beginning. You guy's will have to beat the level on your own," Tony replied as he began typing on another computer.
"I'm going to go to your house and see what's up there," Jan said before flying out of sight of the computer.
"HURRY!" Dani cried from the fight.
Tony typed faster and shouted "GOT IT" when he finally had finished doing whatever he had been doing. A yellow portal appeared above the players and Dani, Raymon, Damon, Clint and Technis all got sucked into it. The aliens they had been fighting just disappeared.
Dani, Damon, Clint and Raymon fell out of the portal and landed in a pile.
"Oww, dude, Raymon, get your foot out of my face," Damon said, pushing his twins foot away.
The heroes managed to get up and look around. The scene around them looked chaotic. They appeared to be in a city of boxes, but everything, from the ground, to the sky to the walls looked like buckets of paint had been splattered all over them, except replace just plain colors with the themes of everything from every other level in the game. There was everything from bricks, sci-fi tech, horror, nature, food, dojo, clowns, candy, Egyptian Glyphs, wires, neighborhood, white, black, pirate, fire, water, underground. You name it and there was a splash of it here or over there around the corner somewhere.
It took Dani a moment to realize this was probably all of the previous 500 level themes mushed together into one… which means they were probably going to have to deal with multiple enemies which they wouldn't know how to defeat from all the levels they just skipped over.
"So where do you think Technis went?" Damon asked.
Sure enough, Technis was nowhere to be seen but they were all positive Technis had gone through the portal with them.
"Let's just find the key bits and get out of here," Raymon replied and started walking, the others right with him.
"It's super quiet on this level. No background music, no sound effects," Damon said, his voice echoing as well as their footsteps.
He was right, all the other levels, even once they were inside the game had back ground music.
That meant something bad was going to happen. When video games stop playing music, you know something is coming and it's usually a good time to freak out.
Of course, their suspicions were confirmed when the earthquake started and the ground started cracking.
"Last level, of course it's going to be different than the others," Clint muttered as something began rising out of the ground.
The creature was awesome, gross, scary, epic and totally cool all at the same time. It had the head of a dragon, though the ears were Jackal Ears, a shark fin on it's back, a tiger's tail with a spiked ball on the end, angry red eyes, long yellow claws, silver armor covering it's stomach, one kangaroo foot and a bronze foot, and four tentacle like arms plus two tree limb like arms.
And it looked pissed.
All over it's body were not 5, but 14 key bits. One on each arm, one on the tip of each ear (like earrings) three attached to the tail, one on the shark fin and one attacked to each leg.
"Crud," Damon muttered.
The creature roared like a T-Rex and it's claws extended out further.
AVENGER'S MANSION
"I have never seen a video game monster like that," Tony said, wide eyed. The Video Chat had remained open as they went through the portal. But apparently the Audio and visual had cut out on Dani's end, so Tony and Wasp could hear and see everything going on inside the game, but the 4 inside the game were completely oblivious to the outside world.
"Hulk wishes he could smash it," Hulk said, sulking that he wasn't in the game so he couldn't beat the crap out of the creature.
Inside the game, Raymon was deciding between calling the creature before him amazing gaming genious or just running for cover while screaming his lungs out.
He didn't get much deciding time, as the creature raised one of its hands and fired ice right towards Raymon. Dani grabbed his by the back of his suit and pulled him out of the way.
"Okay, this might take a while," Dani said.
"We've faced worse. Besides, we just have to focus on getting the key bits, not defeating it," Hawkeye replied, "Pick a target and go for it."
That wasn't the best plan.
Dani was trying to get the one hanging on shark fin on it's back. But as soon as Dani got close, spikes shot out from somewhere on it's back and impaled Dani in the chest.
Dani's form winked out of existence, then re-appeared a few feet away from where she started, with two hearts appearing over her head. She just lost her first of three lives.
"That was horrible," Dani said, slightly disoriented from the experience, and was clutching her chest where she had been impaled. She was fine, but there was a dull ache there- like someone had punched her.
"Are you okay?!" Damon exclaimed.
"I think," she replied, regaining her composure.
"Just be more careful. If this was real, you'd be dead," Clint shouted as he dodged another blast of ice.
And it only got worse from there.
Damon lost his first life when he got completely incased in ice, and his second when he got slammed with the spiked ball on the end of the tail.
Clint lost a life when they found out that it could breathe fire and his second life was lost when he got crushed under the thing's bronze foot.
Raymon lost a life when the claws managed to slash him, and the second life went out when he got picked up by a tentacle and eaten.
Dani finally lost her second life after she took too many kangaroo foot kicks- meaning like 50 kicks which drained her life with each kick.
So almost an hour later, everyone was down to their last life, and the monster still had all the key bits.
"Has anyone spotted any weak spots? It has to have one," Raymon yelled as he dodged a fire blast, "All video games monsters do."
"Unless Technis has been messing with the game!" Dani exclaimed.
That clicked in Clint's mind. When he had lost his second life, he was going for an weak point in the creature's armor. After he lost the life, he had managed to hit the spot, but with no effect. That meant Technis was making this thing unbeatable.
"If he's been messing with it, that means we can't beat it!" Clint said.
"Well how do we get out of here if we can't beat this level?" Damon asked.
"I don't know, but what did Technis say would happen if we lost all our lives again?" Raymon suddenly asked.
"Technis said GAME OVER. I'm pretty sure that means-" Damon began to say but Raymon cut him off.
"What if it just means the game will end for us. Like since we wouldn't have any more lives, we wouldn't be playing anymore."
They others thought about it as they dodged a long string of attacks.
"It makes sense." Dani said.
"It does?" Clint and Damon asked in surprised union.
"Technis is the ghost of technology. We're not all ghosts and were also not technology. I don't think he could kill us through the game. For all we know, we're not even actually physically in the game."
"So what your saying is we lose our last lives and hope we wake up outside the game?" Damon asked skeptically, "Its sounds possible, but what if you're wrong?"
"Well it's either stay stuck in here forever fighting this thing or try," Clint said.
Raymon stopped moving around. A fire blast took him out.
"Well, now we have to try," Damon said.
He, Dani and Clint attacked the monster, and let themselves get taken out.
THE ORPHANAGE
Wasp had been nervously flying around Raymon's room for more than an hour now, and she was starting to get worried. All four of the devices were blank, and Dani, Clint and the twins were no where to be seen.
Then, the screen suddenly started to glow. The glows intensified, electricity sparked and connected the devices, then four figures appeared- three kids and one adult.
"You guys are alright!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around the nearest person to her, which happened to be Damon. For such a small woman, Jan gave a mean death hug.
"I am so glad that worked," Raymon said.
"You better be," Damon replied, finally getting out of Wasp's death hug.
Dani changed back into her human form and looked at the clock.
"Wow, almost 5 hours of video games," she said.
"Huh, normally I play for at least 8," Raymon replied.
"Hey Wasp, are they okay? Dani? Clint? Twin peoples?" Tony's voice came through Jan's ID card.
"Yea, they're fine," Janet replied.
"NOT FOR LONG!" Technis cackled, appearing on Damon's laptop screen, "I TECHNIS WILL-"
Before anything could happen, Dani pushed down the power button and the computer shut down. Technis didn't come out nor appear in any other devices. He was trapped within Damon's computer.
"Damon," Dani said, picking up his laptop.
"What?"
"You need a new computer," she said.
"Yea, I figured," he sighed.
SORRY THAT TOOK SO INSANLY LONG. I STARTED WRTING ANOTHER STORY, AND GOT WRTIERS BLOCK FOR THIS ONE HALF WAY THROUGH THE CHAPTER. THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL TAKE LESS TIME- PROBABLY.
REMEMBER TO REVIEW.
