Andare Via Fidanzato: Chapter 14 – Meeting the Teachers The night was quiet, but Angie had the feeling that something was going on outside and she woke a few times with shivers. For some reason the idea that the Trix were outside trying to get her. Eventually she woke up with the sun shining. Flora came and got her and showed her the way to the great hall where they sat down to breakfast. "You'll be meeting the teachers today." Angie looked away. "Yes... but I honestly don't see how it will help be decision."She picked away at her breakfast looking up at the teachers. "We'll introduce you after breakfast." "I'm not really hungry." Angie continued to pick away at the food. The other girls came and they finally headed to the headmistresses office. Angie looked at her feet. "Hello again." "Good morning to you Angie. I am hoping we will be able to help you understand your powers. If you don't want that we can at least offer protection from the Trix over the summer."Angie looked up and noticed another woman. The woman looked stern and Angie found herself thinking she was in the principle's office for punishment, and yet she had known that she hadn't done anything wrong. "This is our Vice Principle Griselda. She will be taking you around to meet the other teachers." Angie swallowed and followed after with Flora, who had chosen to stick with her in order to make her feel better. Griselda walked with her arms crossed and the speech Angie was expecting came. "I expect you to be on your best behavior while your here. Otherwise I will find some form of punishment suitable towards your situation." The girl looked away, irritated that she was being treated as irresponsible and a child. Griselda stopped outside a room from which Angie could smell tea coming from. She opened the door and she stepped in looking around. They stepped into the room and were greeted by a woman with white hair wearing a red dress. "Ah... hello... you must be the possible new student. I am Profesor DuFour and I teach etiquette here at Alfea and I also teach magic. I am more then willing to answer your questions." "Yes... well, I was wondering what the whole tea thing is for." "Etiquette of course. Of course... the girls tend to not like my classes and they instead insist on other classes being their favorites. Some also complain that they have it drilled into them before they came here as they are of royal status, but some of them don't act royal in attitude. Just the other day a young blond Fairy used a drawl in her speech despite being a princess from a very prestigious planet." "I'm not really sure I want to come to the school. I mean, my focus is music and dance, pretty much that kind of stuff." "There are dance classes here as well as music are all sorts of classes, but the main focus is on magical powers and classes about the magical world." Grizelda then led them out of the room and they met a few other teachers. They finally came to a room where Angie saw a very small man jotting some things down into a note book. Angie blinked a couple of times upon seeing the bright green outfit. The professor then spoke up. "Ahh... hello. I am professor Wizgiz. You're probably wondering what I am. I am a Leprechaun. I teach transformation in this school and if you come to Alfea, I will be teaching you that class." "I don't know..." The small teacher suddenly changed into a mouse. "Are you sure. There are many things that you can do. Well, even if you don't come, understand that things aren't going to be normal in your life anymore. If you don't have control of your powers it may in fact negatively effect those around you. Of course, by control I don't mean gaining your Fairy powers completely. I mean being aware of your emotions and such. If you aren't aware then you may accidentally discharge your powers. That is what happened to Bloom." Angie frowned. "She seems to be little miss perfect even when they say that. Why is it that she happens to have this thing for irritating more then any of the others. I know she lived on our planet for a long time, but I also know she isn't of our planet either, so could she actually understand any of what I'm going through? I don't think she does." They continued until they met one final professor. They walked into the room and heard a crashing sound. A loud sigh came from someone and then a man with pointed ears stood up. "Ahh... you must be the possible new student." Angie blinked a couple of times as she was not sure what to think of, of a professor who happened to be clumsy like that. He blinked a couple of times. "I am an elf by the way." "Like Lord of the Rings..." "I heard that you had questions about the school." "Mostly about what I would be learning and why should I give up what I have going on. I have a great life going on and a degree from this school honestly means nothing on Earth." "No, but you could get a job on any other planet out there." The elf paused. "However, you're worried about that because you have family and wouldn't be able to see them. Except you would. It isn't as if you could travel to Earth when you want to to visit your family and if you get a good enough job you might be able to actually work from Earth. Alfea is the top school, so if you graduate you're practically guaranteed a good job." "Even in the music industry." "Yes. Helping the girls to set up future careers as well as being well rounded, that is the point of the school." "It's good to have this information." Griselda turned to her. "For now though you can spend the summer here enjoying the campus." Angie flinched.
