Netto's Awakening: Road To Adolescence

This is where the fight will be unleashed and here you'll get to see the Net Saver's anger exploding like you never seen before. Narcy and Takeo will now feel the 14-year old teen's wrath and it'll be a heck of a violent outburst.

Ch. 14: Fukushū no Tame ni, Netto no kuesuto Part 3

At the abandoned factory, everyone were contemplating on what to do next and came to an agreement to humiliate Netto more but then one of the Darkloids sensed an energy burst nearby and Jelly Man decided to check it out with Octo Man following. Takeo seemed to get a bit suspicious and asked Narcy if someone is following him, which he flatly denied. But Beastman stood up sensing another strong energy burst emanating near the stairs while the lights dimmed, and there they saw Jelly Man clutching his stomach where smoke was billowing. The Darkloid slumped to the floor before "logging out" and this made the others feel uneasy.

Then Octo Man was thrown down from the bridge above them and the villains look up. They saw someone standing over the bridge but was covered in silhouette. As Takeo demanded the intruder to reveal himself the lights slowly went on, slowly revealing someone which resembled Rockman as only his helmet was visible, but it was colored navy black and that his entire torso was covered with a very black cloth which matched the color of the helmet.

The Rockman-lookalike's face wasn't shown his face was covered with a black-colored visor and face guard and this made Narcy tremble in fear. Then the visor and face mask "opened up" and the intruder's face was revealed: Netto Hikari. He has initiated Vent Fusion but his armor resembled that of Ryusei no Rockman armor as Netto raised both arms and his cape "folded", revealing his frontal body area, wherein his appearance indeed resemble the armor from the other anime series called Ryusei no Rockman (or Mega Man Star Force), but the color scheme is black and he is sporting a long cape which is made of kelvar cloth. His Rock Buster vaguely resembles a dragon's head and he slowly descends to the floor while holding both sides of his cape, giving it a gothic approach.

The two Net criminals were awestruck by this and wondered if the Net Saver has "lost his marbles" or not but Beastman and Videotape Man aren't letting their guards down after seeing what happened to Jelly Man and how he knocked down Octo Man. Hammerhead Man and Tiger-Shark man noticed the intruder's appearance yet they still looked down at him.

"Dark Netto" didn't care about what they think. All he has in his head was none other than beating the hell out of them.

At Atami, the people close to Netto's heart have convened at a local snack bar after getting an SMS message from Enzan, which they stopped their search for him and went to the meeting area and are waiting for further instructions. They are:

- Tohru Hikawa

- Yaito Amanokuji

- Shuuko Kido

- Yamitaro Higure

- Laika

- Meiru Sakurai

- Anetta

- Raoul

All were listening intently after being debriefed on where the 14-year old teen is located at the moment and they were all surprised to learn that all this time he is in Shibuya but then they are planning on how to restrain him without using excessive force. All they have to do now is find which building he is located. Again they split up to cover the prefecture and see if they have luck getting a clue on where to spot him.

At the warehouse, "Dark Netto" proved to be more than a pushover as he knocks down Octo Man again. Videotape Man was baffled as to where Netto get a Cross fusion since his PET was destroyed and that he didn't sense Rockman around, but then steps ahead to try outwit him using video replicas of Rockman, The first faker went towards Dark Netto, but the newly-powered 14 year old boy raised a hand and grabbed the faker, strangling him until it "logged out."

"Hah! Don't think you're tough just because you're wearing a cape! I got plenty of more!"

Videotape man produced more Rockman fakers but Dark Netto simply went past them and grabbed the Darklois and ripped the threads apart, tied it around his neck and threw him from the bridge while tying the threads at a bar, suspending him while getting strangled. He couldn't "log out" as he couldn't concentrate as he is being strangled by his own "tape".

"GGHHAAKKKHHHTTT! I CAN'T BREATHE!"

Beast Man was next and attempts to slash him but Dark Netto was prepared as he jammed a stun gun laced with elastic paste and then tripped him towards a large pot with water below, electrocuting him which almost deleted him but managed to "log out". Octo Man tried again but as he tries to use his tentacles, Dark Netto brought a Magnet Chip which magnetizes the arms together and Octo Man was wide open.

"Goodbye."

Firing his Dark Buster, Octo Man is finished. Tiger-Shark Man and Hammerhead Man tried their turns as they rammed the teenager but he managed to minimize the impact by covering himself with his cape and fired his Dark Buster, at their eyes, disorienting the two while he took a bar from the bridge which was dented and has a sharp edge and uses it to stab the two, injuring them and are forced to log out to escape.

"Narcy and Inukai…you're next…"

"Says who? Beast Man…get him!"

"With pleasure…!"

As Beast man jumps in to slash the beleaguered Net Saver, Dark Netto went behind him and trapped him in a sleeperhold-like move, intending to choke the Darkloid away but then Narcy decided to intervene and scratched Netto's face, but this only ticked him off as he grabbed his hair and rammed his head against the Darkloid, knocking him silly and at this point Inukai unleashed his robo-lion to assault the teen, but Dark Netto pointed his Dark Buster and charged it until it received full power, while evading the robot and then he released it, aiming for the belly which is the weakness.

"No…my robo-lion…"

"You're next, Inukai…"

As Beast Man regained his senses, the 14-year old boy pinned him down and squeezed both the Darkloid's arms until they were severed, causing the Darkloid to scream in pain before logging out, and then jabbed it on Narcy's groin area while jamming it shut on the bridge floor, preventing him from escaping but is bleeding from his private part.

"AHHH! MY PEE-PEE! YOU'RE SO BRUTAL FOR A 14-YEAR OLD!"

Inukai was starting to feel the pressure seeing that all of his allies have fallen and he is the only one left standing and took out his whip and whipped his attacker to scare him away but Dark Netto protected himself by covering his body with his cape. He then fired his Dark Buster and hit Inukai's right hand, severely injuring him and loses his hand in the process and blood was spilled on the bridge floor, screaming in pain.

"ARRRGGHH! YOU BASTARD!"

But Dark Netto grabbed the criminal but his neck and was staring lividly at him while beginning to choke him slowly to death before responding to his words.

"You're the bastard, Inukai…now it's your turn to feel pain…but it won't be your rear end…but this will surely add music to my ears…"

Dark Netto grabbed Inukai by his balls and crushed it, and a loud scream can be heard, and this made him smile cruelly but then a thorn-like whip fasten around his forearm and pulled him away. Looking at his side, he saw who did this and it was Raia Man.

"Stop it…don't you realize that you're out of line?"

"Stay out of this!"

He fired away using his Rock Buster but Raia Man evaded the blasts and tried to counterattack it with his whip but couldn't touch him because of Dark Netto's cape which gave him an ample amount of protection, and so he resorted to use other means to weaken him.

"Battle chip…Copy Vent…SLOT IN!"

In an instant Raia Man copied his opponent's Dark Buster and fired away, and this time he was able to reel down Dark Netto even when using his cape as a shield. Acting fast, Raia Man initiated the Final Vent and ride atop Exo-Diver to execute the Hydro Basin, but Dark Netto jumps up and fired away as Raia Man got near, and the blast caused his opponent to fall down, hitting the floor hard. As Dark Netto get down he aimed his Dark Buster at him and before he was about to finish him off, Rockman appeared and was surprised to see Netto in his Vent Fusion armor, and a mean demeanor and grappled with his human partner to try and talk some sense in to him.

"Netto! Stop this! You're not like that!"

"Get away from me!"

"No! Not until you come to your senses!"

"We have no connection anymore! So let go!"

He slapped the Navi aside but Rockman continued to grapple with him and this resulted in a scuffle and Dark Netto began beating Rockman up, similar to the Batman-Joker fight scenes from "The Batman", and the Navi was forced to fight back with punches and kick, and the two punched and kicked back and forth, both bleeding from their noses and lips.

Outside the warehouse, Meiru and Anetta arrived after Enzan gave them the locations and went inside, and a few rooms later they could hear a lot of swearing and punches coming from the stairs. Looking up the two girls stared wide-eyed at what they saw. Rockman was being punched away by what appeared to be a black-colored version of Rockman but with a long cape and an angry face, and the redhead recognized the face as Netto.

"No…Netto, what's gotten in to you…?"

Filled with worry she went upstairs with Anetta following and was also worried about what would happen next. She was unsure if they should get closer to the fight fearing they might get caught in the crossfire and something fatal might happen considering Netto's current emotional trauma.

"Meiru…wait…!"

As Dark Netto was strangling Rockman, Meiru grabbed her lover by his cape and pulled him away and in turn he aimed his Dark Buster at her, surprising her but she stood her ground, much to Anetta's shock. But Meiru maintained her position and did not back away, undaunted and believe she can talk to Netto into stopping his rampage.

"Stop it, Netto…"

"There's nothing between us…I must purge my pain…so leave now or I kill you…"

SLAP!

He got a shock of his life as Sakurai slapped him hard on the face and he reacted by grabbing her by her shirt and was about to fire his Dark Buster at her when he saw tears coming down from her cheeks. The sudden sight caused Netto to regain some of his sanity to come back.

"Wh…what…"

"Netto…is this what you want? To spill blood? You're not the only one who's in pain! Take a good look! Inukai's cronies broke my hymen and even tried to rape me! I know you took the bigger weight but you took it to save me! Stop being selfish! Look around you! See what you've done! Netto…I love you so much! Please comeback! Let's start over again and recover!"

Looking around, he saw what he just done in which he could see Videotape Man hanging and was almost dying when the Net Navi arrived and saw Narcy and Inukai's sorry states, and slowly Netto knelt down, looking mortified at what he just did as he realized what he has done. Slowly he reverted back to normal as Meiru hugged him feeling him crying silently at what he had done but she is relieved that he has returned to the light and is back to his normal self. Rockman smiled seeing his partner returning to reality as Dr. Hikari, Raoul and Enzan arrived and so were Netto's friends.

As the week passed by things are back to normal, at least. Narcy and Inukai are recuperating at the prison hospital and due to the injuries they got, thus escaping won't be a problem for them as more guards are stationed at their wards. At the Cyber World, Beast Man, Vidoetape Man and Octo Man were also caught and are incarcerated.

Plant Man was pardoned for his role in finding the criminals and as a reward he became Anetta's partner and was given a chip to let him travel freely at the real world and is adjusting quite well, though he wondered why he finds himself drawn to Anetta in a respective way.

At the Hikari house Netto is still isolating himself as he tries to look back at his past mistake and wanted to correct them and refuses to leave the house, so Meiru decided to visit him . Though awkward, he starts to rekindle his romance with her and she supports him to help recover from his trauma.

Meanwhile Dr. Hikari managed to fix the emotional gap between Mr. Ijuin and Enzan thus the father and son has patch up their differences and Mr. Ijuin finally accepted Anetta as his son's choice for a girlfriend. Dr. Hikari also has Netto's Vent Fusion chip and keeps it for safekeeping while figuring out how to apply it to his son's PET once he sees that it is safe to use.

At the town square, Miyuki Tezuka was doing tarot card reading and senses in his fortune that a new danger will approach Netto and decided to keep an eye on him, as the scene shifts to his "vision" in which a person in a Navi armor is lurking close by whose helmet resembles a chameleon.

That was a rather violent chapter, but it did end the story arc about Netto "going out of control", and thanks to Meiru, Netto is back to his old self, though it'll be a while before he fully recovers from the ordeal...
