So...
It's been a while, yeah?
I don't really have an explanation I just kinda forgot about this and left it so
I'm apologize a million times to those people that have been waiting a long time to read this, so I'm going to try and make this a long one. It's mostly just Piper and Annabeth, no Percy action (sorry). Leave suggestions in the comments and I'll try and make them happen uwu
PS It's 1:44 in the morning so no guarantees on good writing.
You can find me as dweebno1 on tumblr if you want
Have fun (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
"What do you want, McClean." Piper had been staring at Annabeth with that smug, knowing, little smirk on her face the entire day. Annabeth had arrived in the middle of math, hands clutching at loose notebooks she had scrambled up and wearing yesterday's outfit with a jacket over the top. Now, in their last class, gym, Piper had been barely able to keep her eyes off her.
"Nothing, just...I like your shirt." Her smile burst out of it's lose bindings for a split second, showing teeth before she returned it to a barely contained grin.
"Oh yeah, I uh, stayed up late studying and didn't change before sleeping or uh, coming to school." Annabeth cringed at that lie. She knew Piper would see right through it. They're too good of friends to not know when the other is lying or not
Her thoughts were confirmed when she saw Piper raise an eyebrow and purse her lips in an almost pitying way. "Okay, sure. We'll go with that and not the fact that you spent the night with Percy Jackson." She didn't restrain herself anymore and grabbed Annabeth by the shoulders, grinning like a maniac. "Everything, Chase. I. Want. Everything. All the juicy details, all the touching moments, every time you guys shared a loving glance and sighed into each other's eyes, hoping, waiting-"
"Alright, alright I get it you want this to be motherfucking Shakespeare. Sorry to disappoint but we didn't recite sonnets and stalk each other from behind trees and shit. Besides, I doubt Percy is a Shakespeare guy."
"Oh, but do you want him to be?" Piper leaned on the bleachers and popped her hip out, bouncing her eyebrows up and down.
"Oh god, no. Ugh i would puke if anyone recited that lovey-dovey Romeo and Juliet crap to me. As if anyone could find that romantic. They were two stupid pre-teens that got 6 people killed including themselves. I'd hate to be responsible for that."
"Jeez, I was just providing a metaphor. C'mon you gotta get a little excited for this-you have a boy toy, Annabeth Chase. And I am proud of you." She tapped Annabeth on the center of her chest, emphasizing the last few words. The blonde blushed, shoving her away.
"He's not a boy-toy, Piper. He's just a really hot, sweet, kid that I make out with from time to time. Oh god he is a boy-toy isn't he. He's my boy-toy. I have a boy-toy." She stared into the distance for a few seconds, still slightly in denial. Piper just looked on with a pleased look in her eye and punched her on the arm.
"There you go, champ. It's about time too. You're smoking hot man, guys are like fawning over you, you just reject all of them. Acceptance is the first step to fucking rejoicing. Dude, you got yourself a smoking hot dude-like he's almost as hot as Jason-who is super into you too. I mean, not like it's hard to find that but you like him back? Unheard of. How'd you even get him to do the do anyways?"
"Woah, woah, woah, we didn't have sex, are you crazy? I mean, he may have gotten my shirt off once but I was PMSing and mad at my dad, and-"
"YO HE GOT YOUR SHIRT OFF?!" Piper's eyes got huge and she was practically shaking with excitement. Annabeth panicked and held her hands up, looking around to make sure no one else heard. "Shit man you have to tell me more about your love life. It sounds so hot. Did he have his shirt off too? What about pants? Were you near a bed? Please tell me you're carrying around a condom or something every time you're with him. Gotta wrap that biscuit up you're not getting any STD's on my watch, OK girl?"
"Piper we're not having sex okay? Jesus Christ I'm not that hormonal. Or stupid."
"Alright, just making sure you're safe."
Annabeth got a questioning look over her face. "How'd you even know I was at Percy's anyways?" She leaned into Piper. "We had different classes when we got here. You couldn't have seen us together."
Piper just looked at her with that all-too-familiar knowing look. "Please. Yesterday's clothes, for one. With a jacket that isn't yours over it and no backpack? What even made you go over there without it?"
Her face grew dark. "Long story. Speaking of, I could tell you all about it at your place after school? And...could I maybe stay at your house for a while? Just like a week, at the most, I promise."
"Of course, Annabeth. Anytime you need me. I'm sure my dad won't mind, we have plenty of extra space." Piper touched her friend's arm and looked her in the eye. "I'm serious, Chase. Anytime you need me, I'm there."
She smiled. "I know."
"Now that that depressing thought is over, lets go get some fro-yo or something. These poor fools trying to play dodgeball are just depressing me. I bet we could beat all of them combined, just the two of us."
"Damn straight. McClean and Chase versus the world. Kicking ass and eating fro-yo."
"I like the sound of that"
