Ruby woke up with butterflies in her stomach. She could not explain why, but she felt nervous about tomorrow.

The day Weiss would return from her training.

According to Weiss herself, she would be training with an expert huntsman and they would head to the town of Mountain Glenn to train. Ruby felt nervous when she heard her partner would go into Grimm-infested territory, but Ozpin assured her that everything would be fine.

"I doubt that they would have no problem. I know that both Vlad and Weiss have particular talents that make them stand out."

Ruby did not doubt Weiss or this Vlad's abilities at all. In fact, she knew very well that Weiss would be okay. She sat alone in the dorm room, wandering about a great many things, but Weiss seemed to dominate her thoughts.

Weiss. That name drove Ruby's stomach to do flips and flops. She felt her pulse quicken and complimented Weiss every time she had done something amazing. She could not explain why she thought Weiss was amazing.

What was it? What about Weiss made Ruby crazy? Was it her hair? Her eyes? Her stature when fighting? Or her change in her personality?

Weiss has changed since she attended Beacon. When they first met, Weiss seemed reluctant, almost not willing to work alongside the other members of her team, especially her and Blake. But in the recent months, Weiss has become a very productive member of her team. At times, it seemed as if Weiss was second-in-command.

No. That still did not explain it. Ruby was driving herself crazy with these thoughts and then came to a single, if not, weird conclusion.

Love. She was truly, madly, in love with Weiss Schnee.

Ruby never thought she would be attracted to a girl before. She always thought that she would end up with a boy, but never a girl and her own partner. How would her Dad react to that revelation?

Just at that moment, her answer walked right through the door.

"Ruby, I'm back from combat training!" Yang yelled as she entered the dorm.

"Where's Blake?"

"Down at the library, she needed to study." Yang said, her face beaming as she did.

Ruby thought that Yang could take the news anyway, either he would approve or she would smash a wall not wanting for Ruby to go down that road. Yang must've noticed a frown on her younger sister's face.

"What's wrong?" Yang asked, somewhat concerned for her baby sister. "Is it Cardin? Did he say something to you, cause if he did, that son of a…"

"No." Ruby said flatly.

"Oh"

"It's just…" Ruby paused. "I have been thinking about this person I may or may not be in love with. I don't know if you are dad would approve."

"AWWW! That's so cute!" Yang said, putting Ruby in an Ursa-style hug, about to squeeze the life out of her. "So who are you thinking about? It's Jaune, isn't it? I think he's taken by Pyrrha"

"No."

"Fox?"

"No."

"…Ren?"

"No, no, no!" Ruby yelled quietly, hoping to not attract attention to anyone who was passing outside the dorm at the time.

"So who is it?"

Ruby breathed in deep and said her next sentence in the most elegent, poetic way possible…

"I'minlovewithWeiss!"

'Smooth' she mentally said.

"What?" Yang said with a look that was mix of confusion and questioning.

"I'm in love with Weiss."

A minute passed between the two before Yang spoke up.

"Our Weiss?"

"Yes."

"Weiss Schnee?"

"Yes."

"As in, Weiss Schnee of team RWBY?"

"Yes, Yang what is so hard for you to get. I am in love with Weiss."

Yang face changed to neutral, scaring Ruby a little bit.

"Does she know?"

"No."

"I see."

Yang looked rather confused and shocked at the same time. Ruby was staring to get a little scared. Yang opened her mouth to speak and said some words that she was not expecting.

"I was wondering when you would tell me."

Ruby looked at her sister, who now had a beaming smile on her face.

"What? You're not mad?"

"Of course!"

"But, how did you know about my feelings for Weiss?"

"When Weiss was in the hospital, you would not stop worrying about her. You we're displaying the signs.

"Oh."

Suddenly, Yang put her hand on Ruby's shoulder in a very reassuring way.

"Hey, I would not be mad if you were dating her, in fact, I think you can make a girl like her very happy. Blake and I seem pretty happy with each other and so should you."

Ruby was so happy that Yang was understanding and…wait. What did Yang just say?

"What did you just say?"

"Oh, me and Blake are…kind of together now." Yang said as if it were a minor note.

Her sister and a cat Faunus, she could not see them together as a couple.

"When did this happen?"

"When Weiss was in the hospital. I confessed my feelings for her. She seemed to share the same. Me and her are still trying to wrap our heads around it to. But I am happy with her. I actually want you say in the matter. Do you think I should continue?"

Ruby thought back to what Yang said. How she would make Weiss happy. She could now see that her sister could easily make Blake, a normally quite girl happy.

"Yes. Go for it. If she makes you happy, then I am happy."

The two sisters embraced each other in a hug.

"Thanks Rubes."

"No, thank you Yang."

With that, Yang and Ruby went to the mess hall to meet with Blake. As they walked yang tapped Ruby on the shoulder.

"Yo, Rubes, if you want my advice. Tell Weiss as soon as she comes back, but tell her when we are at the dorms."

"Thanks,"

The two sisters entered the mess hall, where Blake and JNPR were waiting. While they ate dinner and Nora yarned tales (With Ren occasionally chiming in the right details), Ruby would notice Blake and Yang looking at each other lovingly before going back to their meal. When they returned to the room later that night, Ruby was in bed when she saw Blake and Yang together in each other's arms, sleeping. With that, Ruby smiled and went to sleep.

In the forests outside of Vale, a man unrolled a bedroll in the forest. He was prepared for tomorrow night. The moon would be full; he could feel it in his veins. He saw a Beowolf staring at him from a distance, now showing its teeth. The man made a low, growl in his throat and the Grimm got the message. It whimpered and ran off into the woods, fully acknowledging the man as the Alpha.

"Soon, Vale will know that the Cult of the Red Moon has returned…"

A/N: I'm back! Yes, I am not dead. I have been busy with school work, and the New Year and all that and I thought I would not leave this story for dead. In fact, I was struck with a very bad case of writer's block. I was thinking what I could do with this story, but thanks to the help of a certain videogame (*cough* Skyrim *Cough*) I have been provided with ideas of what I can do for this story.

In fact, I have been thinking of new ideas for some new fics that I would like your opinions on. Here are some ideas.

A fic which contains stories of some ships in the world of RWBY (Like White Rose, Bumblebee, Arkos, Renora, etc.)

A sort of Avatar Au. Bascially, a story where RWBY characters are benders and Ruby is the Avatar.

So which of these two fics should I do next? Don't worry I will still work on The Monster's Within and I will do both of these fics at some point, I just want to know which of these two fics you want me to do next.
