hey guys! I know it's been a while but i've been really busy! I know this isn't much but i've been working on some new ideas for stories to post. PERCY's POV

I entered my house and charged up the stairs to my room, completely ignoring my mother's on going calls. I locked the door and leaned my head against it.

Oh gods, what have I done? I mean, can I get any more stupid?

I just kissed my best friend.

Why would I do that? Who does that?

Agh! Stupid kelp head!

I felt someone knock on my door and heard my mother's worried voice.

"Percy, honey, can I come in?"

I sighed. I really didn't want to talk to anyone right now but, knowing my mother, I didn't really have much of a choice.

I pushed away from the door and unlocked it.

I went and sat on my bed as she came in.

My mom can be considered a beautiful woman. She has dark brown curly hair and soft blue eyes. She's not tall but she's not short either. She's a writer, currently on the second book of her debut series. She's been bagging me forever to read her book but I consider it too… chick-lit for me to read.

"Hey mom" I said while she sits down next to me.

"Honey what happened?" asked while caressing my back, forming circles with her hand.

"It's nothing really, just teenage drama" I said with a wry laugh.

"Oh Percy don't play that card with me. Tell me what happened, you look…. Somewhat guilty about something…." She said, then her face turned mock serious.

"Did you put your school' gym on fire again? cause son, I really can't afford another meeting with your principle talking to me about… "No mom! God no!" I interrupt her.

"And that was an accident! You know that!" I grinned at her.

She laughed.

"I know I just wanted to see what would it take to make you smile, you know I hate seeing you sad"

I smiled and hugged her.

Did I mention that I love my mom? A lot. She always knows how to comfort me.

She pulled away and looked at me.

"Now spill, what happened?"

Suddenly I find an interest at the floor.

"I did something bad. Okay not bad bad. Semi-bad."

"What honey?"

Okay here it goes, now or never.

"I…kissed Annabeth" I mumbled.

For a while I hear nothing, I turn to my mom only to find her looking at me with eyes so wide that could be owned by an owl.

Then suddenly she jumps and hugs me with a huge, and I mean huge, grin on her face.

"Mom you're chocking me" I said trying to get out of her, surprisingly very tight, embrace.

"I'm sorry honey, I'm just so happy! I was betting with Frederic, for a while now, how long it would get you two to get together!" she said smiling.

She did what now?

Well, that's embarrassing…

"You are betting with Annabeth's dad on our relationship status?" I look at her with amusement.

She ruffles my hair tenderly.

"Oh come on Percy, we're old people, if we don't gossip about our children what's left to talk about?" she says flashing me a grin.

I sighed.

"Yeah well, I don't think you get it. I kissed her while I'm in a relationship with another girl and also, I kissed her out of sheer desperation." Or at least I like to think I did so…

She frowned.

"Desperation. Why?"

"Well she kinda told me that she doesn't like me and all this time she was pretending to be my friend because I'm Thalia's cousin and I'm….. freaking popular!" I said. No scratch that. Yelled.

Without knowing, I found myself pacing around my room.

"Oh honey, don't be silly .Annabeth would never say such a thing" my mom said.

"And yet she did. I just don't understand why. I mean, I know she's lying, I know her like the back of my hand. I just want to know what could make her say something like that."

I stoped in front of my window and looked outside. The road in front of my house was full of kids playing and laughing. The simplicity of the picture in front of me made me want to start laughing on the complexity of my life.

Man, I'm too young for this kind of drama…

I remember a few years ago when those kids playing football without caring about the future where us. As in me, nico, Annabeth, Thalia, beck, silena, leo, luke, piper, chris, Jason and even Clarisse.

Now half of the gang is in different schools. We still talk and get together but we know something's differend.

We're too hang up on our everyday drama.

When life got so complicated?

I felt my mom hug me and I rested my head on her shoulders.

"I don't know honey, but what I do know is that she didn't mean that. You should talk to her about it tomorrow. That and the kiss" she said and I tensed.

The kiss.

Now that's another chapter of my complicated life..

Oh man that kiss…..

That was a hell of a kiss.

What I'm trying to say is that, when I did it I thought that it would be like those meaningless kisses we give when we play spin the bottle or truth or dare. A simple peck and then done.

I didn't even know why I did it in the first place, I just did it.

But…how did it turn so….. heated?

And why did I feel like I wanted more?

I just kissed her without realizing it and then I just…. couldn't stop.

Like I was drawn to her or something.

Maybe it was that her soft curls smelled like fresh lemons, or the taste of her rosy lips or even the way that my hands fitted perfectly in her tiny waist.

Man, I don't know. It's still a mystery to me.

"Yeah, about that." I said pulling away from her.

"About what?" She looked at me questioningly.

"The kiss" I stated.

"Oh the kiss, well you said it was just a simple kiss so why make a big deal out of it? Besides from what you told me it must be as meaningless to her as it was to you" she said ruffling my hair.

She stood up and started heading for the door when I finally found my voice again.

I know right? Miracles do happen!

"That's the thing mom! It started out as a simple peck but…. It sort of ….didn't stop"

Didn't stop? How about you didn't stop buddy?

She turned around with wide eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean… it became ….. oh man how can I say this, ….. come on mom you know what I mean, we just kissed! For….. a while" I said blushing like an idiot.

For a couple of minutes, or hours I don't know, she just stood there blinking at me.

"Percy, honey, how do you always get yourself in trouble?" she sighed and exited my room, but not before I detected a small smile tagging on her lips.

I sighed as I threw myself on bed.

"I don't know mom, I really don't "

I closed my eyes only to be greeted by startling grey eyes.

What is happening to me?

Soooo? How did you like Percy's POV? I know it isn't much i just wanted you to know his side of the story before moving to anything else. i hope you liked the chapter and i promise i will have updated the next chapter by next week! Please review!
