The lack of response towards chapter thirteen is exactly why I asked if you wanted smut or not, but I'll just assume it was decent enough since I didn't get any complaints either. So let the story continue!

Chapter fourteen
Kamelot
Spencer yawned as he followed Aaron through the doors to the building in which they rehearsed. They had managed a short nap after their earlier activities followed by quick separate showers. He couldn't keep the smile from his face however, all earlier uncertainties gone. They still probably should talk more about their relationship, but for now the guitarist was satisfied.
"Well well well, this is a first Hotch, really close to being late" Spencer heard Emily tease as they entered. "Not so unusual for you though, Spencer" she added with a wink.
"Not my fault though Emily, blame it on the lump of meat we call a drummer" Spencer shot back.
"Hey, leave me out of this!" Derek protested.
"Just save these fake arguments for later" Aaron said, clearly not as amused as the other three. "We don't want to waste JJ's time."
Spencer shook his head in amusement before taking a seat at the table the manager was sitting at. Aaron took the seat next to him and gave his leg a quick squeeze under the table causing Spencer grin stupidly. Not that he cared much in this moment, even though both women seated at the table gave him strange looks.
"Alright, now that everyone is here I'll just start by giving you some good news. I've been in contact with 'Kamelot's' manager. He has told me that the band has expressed an interest in meeting you guys after listening to your demos. If you all get along it is a big possibility that they will invite you as a supporting act on their upcoming American tour."
As soon as the blonde finished speaking everyone at the table was cheering and Derek even got up and enveloped JJ in a hug.
"Yes, so far so good" JJ said with a smile as soon as everyone had calmed down. "I'd be surprised if you guys wouldn't get along great with Kamelot. I really do believe this is going to work out, This, right here, is a big step towards your big break."
And go well it did. Before he knew how time had passed and it was tie for them to head out on tour with Kamelot. Aaron had quit his job for this, which in itself was not a great loss since he really didn't enjoy it anyway. Spencer's contract at the bookstore was running out and though they had asked him to stay he had declined for now. Derek, as an independent contractor, really didn't have any difficulties with getting time off. Emily had taken a leave of absence. Hopefully, if this worked out like they wanted, they wouldn't have to working with something other than their dream again.
His relationship with Spencer was going as well as ever and they had now been together for roughly four months. Everyone, including JJ now knew about them and it felt really good not having to hide his affection towards the younger man. Lost in his thoughts about Spencer Aaron visibly jumped in surprised as Derek was suddenly yelling.
"Casey! Ey, Casey!" the drummer yelled excited.
"Derek, Hotch. Good to see you guys again!" Casey, the drummer of Kamelot, said as he came closer. Aaron and Derek had just finished helping out with loading the bus they were using for the tour. "Excited for the tour?"
"You bet!" Derek replied. "Pretty Boy was so wound up he barely got any sleep!"
Aaron snorted in amusement; Spencer was indeed currently asleep in their bus, even after drinking his usual, exaggerated amount of coffee. He paid no attention to the discussion the two drummers was enveloped in and focused his attention towards the other members of Kamelot walking over to greet them. They had their own bus for this tour. Nothing as extravagant as Kamelot's tour bus, but it was nice enough.
"Hey Hotch, Derek!" Thomas the guitarist of Kamelot greeted.
"Were have you hidden the other two?" asked Kamelot's singer, Tommy.
"Emily is checking out the interior of the bus and Spencer's asleep" Aaron replied, still amused by the fact that his lover as indeed sleeping.
"Ah, nerves getting in the way of his beauty sleep?" teased Oliver the keyboard player. Oliver and Spencer had gotten along really well immediately. Aaron felt surprisingly jealous about that, but he suppressed it for now.
"Act like a grown-up will you please, Oliver?" said Sean who played base for Kamelot. Out of all the members of Kamelot Aaron liked Sean best, though he got on well enough with all of them. Well, except Oliver, his jealousy got in the way of that. Even though he highly doubted that his jealousy was needed he couldn't help not really liking the base-player.
The members of Kamelot and Derek quickly got into a teasing squabble which has Aaron shaking his head in amusement.
"Hey, you guys are interrupting my exploration of our new bus!" Emily said suddenly stated from the doors to the bus.
"Emily! Good to see you!" Thomas greeted.
"Yes, really good to see you! Such a great thing to have a fair lady on tour with us! Doesn't happen too often" joked Casey.
"Anyway, we just wanted to say hello, but we should get back to our bus since we're about to leave" Thomas stated. "We'll just have to greet Spencer when we arrive in Charleston. Or at a stop along the way."
As they walked away Aaron and the others made their way into the bus, happily greeted by Earl their middle-aged bus-driver. He smiled when he saw Spencer sleeping in one of the couches in the bus. Shaking his head slightly he took a seat in a nearby seat. Then they were off, and Aaron couldn't help but to grin stupidly. This was their dreams coming through.
Spencer was woken abruptly when the world began to shake. With a very manly squeal he sat up. It took him a few moments to realize where he was.
"Sorry 'bout that guys, road construction. The bumby part is over soon 'nough!" Earl called to them.
So that was why the world was shaking. Spencer grunted in protest. To what he wasn't sure.
"Is there any coffee?" he asked sleepily.
Moments later Emily handed him a cup of the delicious life-saving liquid, probably having got up to get it for him as soon as she noticed him being awake. They had all made sure their bus was equipped with a coffee machine before agreeing going anywhere with Spencer, something the guitarist was immensely happy about.
"Thanks" he grunted.
Emily rolled her eyes before getting back to her seat. He could hear the others speaking, but he didn't bother to find out if they were speaking to him or not. They were probably not though, as Derek and Aaron both knew from personal experience that it was no idea trying to speak to him before he had some caffeine in his system.
After his second cup he felt awake enough to acknowledge the others. Aaron smiled brightly at him when he walked to where the others were sitting.
"Did you sleep well?" the singer asked when he approached.
"Decent enough I suppose. Really didn't sleep well before, I'm really glad this bus has some couches.
"Only decent?" Derek asked, his tone teasing. "Too bad we have to disappoint Oliver with the fact you didn't get more than a decent beauty sleep!"
When Spencer, or anyone else for that matter, didn't react much at his teasing he changed the subject to the tour, a conversation they all could stick to for a long time. In fact, they only stopped discussing it when it was time for them to stop to get something to eat.
Happily Spencer exited the bus and noticed another bus parked next to theirs. This was Kamelot's bus. The guitarist felt a burst of happiness spread through him. This was really happening; they were on the road supporting a popular band. I didn't hurt that all the members of said band was all really friendly. He got along especially well with Oliver, whom he found really intelligent.
One thing Spencer particularly enjoyed about Oliver was that said man originated from Germany, meaning Spencer got an opportunity to practice his German.
"Spencer! You're awake!" Oliver called to him as Kamelot walked into his line of sight.
The guitarist waved as he ant the others walked towards the other band. Spencer was greeted by the others before they all walked towards the restaurant along with the two bus-drivers and part of the crew.
Since there was so many of them they had to get multiple tables. Spencer ended up at a table with Aaron, Oliver, Emily and Sean. He thought he saw an odd expression on Aaron's face as the older man sat down next to him, but a moment later it was gone. When Aaron caught his eyes he gave the singer a small smile and squeezed his hand under the table in, what he hoped was, a reassuring way. To his relief Aaron smiled back, and Spencer decided that his imagination was playing tricks on him.
He was quickly enrolled in a conversation with Oliver, Aaron's possible odd expression forgotten for now.
Okay, I realize this was rather short. I felt I had to end this here for dramatic effect -dun dun dun- *grins evilly*
A few notes: I don't own Kamelot. Kamelot was randomly chosen as a band as this was what I was happening to listen to at the time. The names used are the names of the actual band members, though I assume their personalities differ greatly from my story. Ah, well. Great band though.
I do own Earl the bus-driver though.
