Six months later
"Say bye bye to mommy."
"Bye!"
Violet tickled Aira and she squealed. "Mommy loves you."
"Do you have to work today?"
"No, I'll be back to get her after my 11:00 class."
"Okay."
"I packed a few snacks in her diaper bag, and she ate breakfast a few minutes ago."
Olivia smiled, "You're a great mom Violet."
"I hope I can be as great as you one day."
"You want to be like me?"
"Of course. You always keep everything together. You're amazing mom."
"I wish I could go back to when you were a baby. I should have cherished it more."
Violet smiled, "Open your eyes."
"What?"
Olivia covered her ears when she heard a shrill cry. It was getting louder. Violet was still smiling.
"Livvie are you going to get the baby?"
"What?"
"Violet."
Olivia turned on the lamp and looked around confused. The crying was louder.
"Is that Aira?"
"Who is Aira? You should really stop drinking at night."
"The baby."
"That's it. No more wine Olivia. I'll get Violet."
Olivia followed him into the nursey. The crying stopped when he put her on his shoulder.
"It was so real."
"What are you talking about Olivia?"
"My dream. Violet had a baby. Aira, and we have twin boys. Jake and Mellie were eaten by bears."
"How much did you drink last night?"
"I had one glass of wine."
"Olivia, it will be a long time before Violet has any babies. You're overwhelmed. I can give the nanny more hours."
"No! Give me my baby."
"Are you sure you want her? You turned off the baby monitor yesterday."
"Give me my baby."
"Okay."
Fitz was going to pour out every wine bottle in the house. Olivia was losing her mind. Twin boys? Violet was only two weeks old, and Olivia was dreaming about twins.
"It's okay. Mommy's here."
"She stopped crying. You can put her down."
"No. I'm never letting her go."
