Chapter 13
"Why the hell are you smiling?!" I found myself yelling at him. "No Lucy, it's just..well, it is kinda funny how we ended up in this situation." He smiled at me with that mood changing smile "I feel like we're part of someone's story. We're one of the main characters and the person just happened to put us together." I blushed at what he said and backed away a few meters. Seriously, this guy just says things without thinking about them. "Seriously, Luce you really are acting kinda weird you know!" He then stood up and grabbed my hand, "Come on, Happy-sensei said we have a little free time. So why not enjoy the city as a "couple" for the next two days!" I took my hand back and told him if he ever suggested that again I would throw him out a tower. "I'm not trying to flirt or get a date with you, I just wanna enjoy the city. If you want to sit here and wait for Happy, then suit yourself, but I'm going to enjoy Starfrost City!" The door shut behind him, and I was left surprised.

Right before I made it to the front doors, I saw her running to me calling my name, "Natsu! Wait up for me!" By the time she was in front of me I could tell she was happier than usual. "I knew you would give in! Let's go adventuring, Luce!" I grabbed her hand and ran straight out of the inn.

"So what made you change your mind?" I asked stuffing my face with a stick full of cotton candy.
"I don't know. Maybe I just didn't want to wait for Happy-sensei or I really did want to explore this place!" She smiled at me. That pretty smile...I remember when I learned her last name was Heartfilia, my flame almost went out. If it wasn't for her father my father would be-
"Hey Natsu! Lemme have some of that cotton candy!" I quickly stepped back claiming that my cotton candy is my cotton candy! She looked at me disappointed and chased after me. "Give me some!" Her voice followed me around the place. "Get your own!" She giggled and screamed, "But it's my money, Natsu!" We looked like little kids fighting for a toy, but we didn't care. "Natsu look out!" I look in front of me and saw a little girl playing with a boy. I was about to hit her, but luckily I tripped on a rock and landed face flat in front of her (nice -_-). "Sorry about him!" I heard Lucy saying handing the little girl a piece of candy.

"Are you two a newly wed, Oni-san?" The boy asked helping me up. I noticed the little girl looking up at me and Luce with glittering eyes asking if we are. Lucy blushed, and I rubbed the back of my head. "We are actually," I said blushing. The little girl clapped her hands in excitement while Lucy stood there looking at me. Her face looked like a sunfish haha. "My dad would say your a lucky one. Your wife is super pretty and her...you know.. are just the right size, if you know what I mean, Oni-san!" Now, Lucy was a tomato, and how does this kid know about 'that'. Well, you know kids these days -_-. I laughed and patted his head. "You're a really cool kid," I said and he smiled and left with the little girl. When I looked at Lucy she was blushing, "Why did you tell them we were married?" She asked looking at me. "Come on, I didn't want to tell them we weren't; that would've been awkward." Lucy looked forward and walked away leaving me behind. "But you really are pretty, Luce!" I yelled behind her. This time she looked back at me and just blushing again. It wasn't long till I groped her breast as a joke, "And that kid was right! Everything is the right size, and plus, it's really soft and squishy!" It wasn't until long that I felt a sharp pain on my cheek. "Don't joke about these things pervert!"

We arrived in a flower shop, but it wasn't an ordinary flower shop. Some of the flowers and plants were alive. Yep and I mean alive! A young couple ran the shop and came running to us. "Honey, it's a newly wed!" the pretty young woman called for her for someone. Her husband walked inside the room and said hello to us. "Hey, my name is Yukino and this is my husband, Sting!" She was really beautiful. Short white hair and a very pretty face, and her husband was a very handsome guy. He had light blond spiky hair and purple blue eyes. They told us every single time a newly wed couple comes in they always give them a special flower. I didn't want to tell her we weren't even married, we would go to jail if they found out we weren't married. She told us that when you spend your honeymoon here you would never get a divorce and you will always love each other. "So how many years have you guys been married?" Natsu asked still stuffing his face with the cotton candy he paid with my money! "Five years," Sting said holding his wife by the hips. "We got married in our senior year of high school," Mrs. Yukino said smiling at us. She asked how old we are and Natsu being the idiot he is, said our exact age (he could've at least said we were 18). "She's 15 and I'm 17!" Much to my surprise they looked pretty normal. "Did you have your parents consent?" Mr. Sting asked. I felt a sharp pain in my chest...parents. When I looked at Natsu his expression was the same as mine. I guess that's one thing we have in common. "Yes," I faintly lied to the nice people in front of me. After a few minutes Mrs. Yukino brought two things that sparked my interest. There, she held two small beautiful shaped vases that you could fit into a pocket, but that wasn't the thing the peaked our interest. Both of them were glowing and sparkling, they were roses. One was glowing red like fire and one golden, like the stars in the night sky. "You see, Starfrost City is quite the interesting city. Not much people know about it and most importantly, it is full of many mysteries," Mr. Sting whispered to us. Mrs. Yukino gave me the red one and Natsu the golden one. "These roses are magical," she said handing them to us. I didn't know magic existed, this Starfrost City is really strange. "The roses only glow if you and your spouse are together, and they change color every single time you guys share a moment of love together." She smiled at us. And we looked stupid because we just found out magic existed and a moment of love? Seriously? I'm starting to agree with Natsu maybe we are in a fanfic or something! I looked at Natsu and he smiled at me. Is he not affected by this at all? He still looks like...Natsu! He's really weird...

I looked at Lucy and I smiled. "Awww, I can see your roses started to change color!" looked at me and Lucy's roses; hers turned to my color and my color turned to hers. We looked at each other again and looked away as quickly as possible! We thanked the two and left the shop. Mrs. Yukino told us after we left the shop only Luce and I could see the roses. "Interesting flowers. Never seen a magic rose before. It's a first for me," I said examining it nervously. "They're really beautiful though," I heard Lucy say under her breath. I looked at her again, but I didn't notice my rosé changing color again. She looks...Oh god I haven't known Luce too long, but I think I'm... I don't know ...falling for her... She's very beautiful and I'll always be grateful to her family... I love looking at Lucy Heartfilia...

I noticed Natsu looking at me, but I still looked back at him... He really was different than most guys from Magnolia High. I don't even know him than much, but I think I'm starting to fall for him. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?! I HATE MEN BUT... I don't know! And what about Levy-chan and the others?! I can't help it...snap out of it Lucy!
