A/N: Ciaooooo everyone! :3 I am in such a great mood right now, and I have no idea why!

Oh well!

Here's chapter 14! I really hope you guys enjoy this, the storyline is starting to move forward, let's see how far we can get with this story!

Big thanks to those who always review and to the new readers who add my humble story in their favourite list! I really appreciate it!

Also, about the story! In chapter 1 I wrote that Momo is 18. Okay, scratch that, I'm the dumbest idiot on earth, she's actually 19, I'll edit that as soon as possible, sorry about that!

Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach!

Back home.

"I... I really like you, Aizen-sempai!" The chubby girl timidly confessed, looking down at her hands fiddling together. "P-p-please go out with me!"

The tall boy stood shocked for a second. Then a smile formed on his face and he bursted out laughing.

The girl looked up in confusion and hope. Hope that he might actually accept her.

"Are you serious?!" The boy shook his head, trying to cool his laughter down. "There's no way I'd date such an ugly and fat girl like you!" He walked off, still talking to himself. "Unbelievable!"

The scenario changed. The poor girl cried, surrounded by her classmates with a finger pointing against her. "Fat! Fat! So so ugly!"

I sat up all of a sudden, sweat thinly covering me, my breath ragged.

"Shit." I whispered, panting. I look next to me to see Rukia sleeping peacefully. Knowing perfectly that I won't be able to go back to sleep, I silently crawl out of the room, thankfully I'm the one laying next to the door, and get out of the tent only in my peach tank top and pink shorts.

'That dream...' I shuddered, not knowing if it's because of the dream or because of the cold breeze that came by. I look around to see if there's anything to drink or eat, feeling suddenly so stressed. It's crazy how a dream can affect me this much. I found in one of the blue coolers under the picnic table a couple of bottles of beer and some cute coloured bottles.

Feeling more attracted to the cute bottles than the beer, I grab a peach coloured one and sit on the picnic table.

I look at my wrist, expecting to see my wrist watch, only to see that I didn't have it on. Shit, what time is it?

I open the bottle and take big gulps. I almost choke as I recognize the taste of peach and alcohol mixed together. What the hell did I just drink?

I try to look closely at the sticker on the bottle, and I see the picture of peach and a glass of water next to it. Or maybe that's not a glass of water. There's not enough light for me to see the drink's name.

'Fuck it.' My Rational side seemed to be already out of it and slurred at me. 'Drink it all!'

Hey, that's Miss Rational speaking. Who am I to go against her? And hey, the drink is good, so why not?

I took another sip of the drink and look around the dead silent camp.

The tents around the spots were all closed shut, lights off. I could hear some birds chirping wherever they were hiding.

I look up at the dark sky, but I can't see the moon. Where was it?

Oh right, I wonder if Rangiku and the others are back?

I walked back in our tent and peek in Rangiku's room to see her snoring as loud as ever sprawled across her bed. Ikkaku was curled up in a ball in the corner of her room and Yumichika was sleeping next to her.

I peeked also in Rukia's room and saw Kaien, Ichigo and Renji snuggling together.

I stifled a laugh. They looked adorable.

Not wanting to disturb them, I walked out of the tent and glanced at Toushirou's tent, which seemed to be so lonely now.

It's been so long since I last went in their tent... when was it? The last time we went camping together?

A smile crept up my face, realizing that most of my happy memories from when I was a kid are with him.

I finished the bottle of whatever I was drinking and left it on the picnic table. I glanced again up at the sky, and see a little bit on the horizon that the sky seemed to be turning pink and different shades of light orange and light blue.

Dunno if I'm seeing weird colours because of the drink, or if it's just the dawn.

Dawn? What time is it? I feel all warm and fuzzy inside, a smiliar feeling from when I had my cocktail feast back at Reaper's, that club in Seireitei.

Uh oh, am I drunk?

I test myself by trying to walk into a straight line in front of the picnic table. And I failed.

Whatever. Even my Miss Rational shrugged at me.

I looked back at Toushirou's tent, which seemed so empty. Probably because I've seen everyone sleeping in my tent.

'Just a little peek...' My rational side and Miss Sentimental pleaded me and I complied.

I tiptoed my way in front of his tent and slowly zipped the door open. I peek in and see that the main room is empty, only a couple of bottles of water, beer, plastic cups, bags, towels here and there. Quite messy, not something I'd expect from Toushirou.

I daze at the other small door that lead to the only 'bedroom' of his tent.

"Just a little peek..." I whispered to myself and stumbled in my usual classy way inside the tent.

Should I be reported for going inside someone else's tent without their permission? I giggled, probably a little bit too loud, so I put a hand over my mouth to muffle the sound.

I make my way towards the door leading to heaven and zip the door open.

I held in a gasp when I saw Toushirou sleeping in a pair of comfy shorts, completely shirtless.

Should I panic? Should I close my eyes and look away like a pure maiden in love (which I am)? Should I run away in the most cliché way?

Somehow I only feel like giggling and I suddenly trip over something invisible and fall inside the room, next to him.

I feel a cold breeze coming inside from the main room and remember not closing the door behind me. Shit.

oOOOo

"Momo..." A sweet voice said my name, instantly making me feel butterfly in my stomach. "Wake up..."

The sound of birds chirping outside and the light noise of people clattering with plates and glasses outside brought me back down to earth.

I remember the small peach bottle I drank from last night and panic. Shit, what did I do?!

I slowly opened my eyes to see Toushirou looking down at me, propped up on his elbow to his side. Oh no no no, what have I done? Why am I in his tent? Oh no, I don't have my bra on! I blush a thousand shades of red and hide under the blanket draped over my body.

A blanket? I look down at my body entirely covered by a light blue sheet and I shyly hide under it.

Toushirou chuckled. "Why are you hiding?"

"I'm so so sorry!" I shut my eyes close and bowed down, still hiding under the sheets.

Damn it, I can't remember what happened last night!

Toushirou sat up quietly. "Why are you apologizing? For coming into a man's room at night barely dressed and utterly wasted?"

I whimpered. "Sorry!" Is he mad? "I'm sorry for uh- disturbing your sleep...?"

He tried to pull the blanket away from me, but I clutched onto it as if my life depended on it. I don't really wanna see him mad. "Momo, that's not the point." I sat back up, still holding onto the blanket without saying anything. "Come on, get out of the blanket."

"I don't get it, you're mad, but it's not because I disturbed you in your sleep?"

Toushirou sighed and managed to sneak in under the blanket with me, kneeling in front of me. He looked at me, as if searching for answers just by looking at my face. "You just don't get it, do you?"

I furrowed my brows in confusion until he suddenly pushed me down, holding my hands to my side, making my eyes widen in surprise.

"This could happen." He straddled me, sitting on top of me.

I try to wriggle away from him, but to no avail. When did he become so strong?

"You wouldn't have been able to escape. And you should know the continuation to that." His free hand roamed down my side and he started tickling me.

I burst into a fit of laughter. "Nooo stop!" He stopped after he seemed satisfied enough and freed me.

I panted, holding my sides that hurt from too much laughter. "I got it, I'm sorry, I won't sneak in your room-" I stopped mid-sentence at his glare. "-in anyone's room at night completely wasted."

He stood up and ruffled my hair as I was still kneeling on his mattress. "Come on, Rukia looked utterly mad when she saw you in my room."

Oh no, did everyone else see me in his room?

I tried to fix my hair in the best way possible and peek my head out of Toushirou's tent to see everyone packing things up.

"Good morning Momo!" Rangiku winked at me. "Had a good night?"

I blushed, still not moving out of the tent. "Oh right, we're leaving today."

"You left me again, Momo!" Rukia whined, glaring at me. "How could you?!"

I laugh nervously. "Sorry..."

She pouted and pulled me out of the tent. "Go and get changed, we're leaving soon and we need your help to dismount the tent."

"Oh stop it you two." Rangiku draped her arms around my shoulder and Rukia's. "The boys will take care of the tents. Let's just pack our bags."

"Well I uh... okay." I didn't really feel like moving around too much, my head wasn't feeling really good. I walked in my tent and quickly packed my clothes and towels in my bag. After we were done packing up, the three of us left to take a shower.

And here came the questions.

"So what happened?!"

"Did you two do it?!"

"Oh my God! Did you use protection?!"

"Was he good?"

"How did it feel?!"

I blushed crimson red and stopped them on their tracks. "Jeez, we didn't do anything. I got drunk last night and went into his tent, that's it."

Rukia and Rangiku looked at each other, while brushing their wet hair, and back at me. "Did he at least make a move or something?"

"I... no." I muttered. I actually don't remember anything, but I really want to close this argument as soon as I can.

"You liar, you don't even remember it." Rukia snickered.

"Damn it, don't see right through me." I complain with a smile as I rub my hair with my towel.

"I wonder what happened then." Rangiku wiggled her eyebrows. "Who knows, maybe he made a pass on you when you were sleeping."

"Ran!" I scolded her. "He wouldn't do that."

"Oh yes he would." Rukia jumped in. "He's a young man, Momo. Hormones and shit."

"Classy." I roll my eyes at her as Rangiku continues.

"You never know, Momo! A stunning, sexy young woman, intruding in a young man's room while she's completely wasted, dressed only in a tank top and tiny shorts! Oooh lala!" She sing sang.

I laughed. "Don't be ridiculous, Ran! He's not like tha-." I stopped and remembered his foul mood when I woke up. "I mean... no way."

Rukia and Rangiku exchanged another look and then turned back to me. "Did something happen?!"

"I... I don't know!" I said surprised. "This morning he was uh..."

"Did he actually push you down?" Rukia's eyes were filled with hope. I look down, blushing.

"That was this morning. He was mad at me, telling me how reckless I was and uh... he did."

Rukia and Rangiku started squealing like annoying little girls and shaking me by my arms. "Momo! That's it! The sign you've been waiting for!"

My eyes widened as the informations sunk in my brain. "No way."

"It's obvious. If a guy pushes you down onto his bed..." Rangiku didn't even bother continuing the sentence, leaving me to immagine any sort of ending to that sentence.

"No no." I shook my head, panicking as I remembered my dream. "No way."

Rukia instantly got worried when she saw my panicked face, probably recognizing it from back when I was in middle school. "Momo, stop it. He's different. He's not your sempai, you're even older than him. We're not in middle school. We're not in Karakura."

I shook my head again, as if trying to shake the thoughts off. "I won't hope for anything in vain, Rukia. Not again."

I didn't bother to dry my hair and grabbed my things and walked back to our campsite.

The tents were already dismounted, the boys are now putting the pieces inside the tent's bag.

Seems like they didn't notice me, so I was about to speak up to them until someone pulled me to hide behind the close tree to our camping spot.

"Shhh! Listen to what they're talking about!" Rukia hushed me before I could yell at her and Rangiku.

I leaned my head back against the tree and unvolontairly listened.

"Dude, come on, spill it out." Oh. Rukia's plan. Ichigo's acting skills sucks.

"What?" Toushirou asked in a clipped tone.

"Ooooh about last night!" Renji immediately understood what Ichigo was up to, so he joined his orange haired friend. "With Momo!"

Toushirou sighed as Ikkaku, Kaien and Yumichika joined the two. "Nothing."

"Could you at least tell us how it happened?" Kaien snickered.

"She..." Toushirou sounded hesitant. "...she got drunk. She got in my room and that was it."

"Man... that must have sucked." Ikkaku said with a loud sigh, making me feel like I got punched in the gut.

Must have sucked to stay in the same room as me?

"... Yes and no." Toushirou grumbled incoherently making the boys go all 'wohooo'.

"Why yes and why no?" Renji pressed him.

"I- Why do I have to tell you guys!" He sounded irritated... almost seemed embarassed...? "Fine. Yes because I loved spending the night with her. No because I couldn't lay a finger on her. Happy now?!" He said utterly frustrated.

Rangiku and Rukia held in their squeales, muffling them with their hands and hugging me.

Is this true? Is he saying the truth? I blushed madly and sat down on the ground.

While the boys messed around and made fun of Toushirou, Rukia and Rangiku knelt before me with huge grins on their faces.

"See?!" Rangiku squealed. "He likes you!"

Rukia's grin faltered when I looked down. "He said he was happy to spend the night. He didn't say a thing about liking me."

Rangiku groaned in frustration. "Are you fucking kidding me! God, you are so stubborn!" She picked on the grass on the ground in frustration. "Fine! I'll go and make him say it!" She stood up but was stopped by Rukia.

Rukia just smiled sadly at Rangiku and shook her head. "Let's leave it as it is for today." Rukia glanced at me. "Sorry, Momo. I didn't want to force you to go out of your comfort zone. Let's go, they're done packing our things in the car."

I didn't move from my spot, and the two of them went ahead towards the group.

I hesitantly stood up from the ground and followed them, my mind went numb.

oOOOo

"Oh man, I'm hungry." Rukia grumbled, rubbing her sleepy eyes while stepping out of the car.

"Same here." Rangiku followed my bestfriend into the restaurant as Toushirou and I took our time to take our seatbelts off.

"I can't believe we're already going home." I laugh nervously. Man, since I heard their conversation, I forgot my usual attitude with him, and now I keep putting us in an awkward situation or silence.

"Yeah... The days flew by." Toushirou smiled to himself and leaned back in his seat. "We'll definetely go back there one day."

I fumbled with my seatbelt and he glanced at me, probably expecting me to say something, as I normally would.

Oh snap, what am I supposed to say?

"Yup." I mentally smacked myself, and so did Miss Rational and Miss Sentimental. Triple smack.

Toushirou just forced a smile and we both got out of the car, following Rangiku and Rukia; when suddenly, rain poured down. Hard.

"Oh, shit." Toushirou let out with a laugh and we ran to the restaurant next to the gas station.

And now, we're drenched to the bone.

"What happened to you two?!" Rukia and Rangiku burst out laughing seeing us dripping wet. "Had a shower in the car?"

"Ha ha, funny." I snorted sarcastically. "I don't really feel like eating now."

"What are you saying, silly? I heard your stomach grumbling earlier." Rangiku pointed at the other wet customers inside the restaurant and the ones who were running for repair under the restaurant's roof. "Look, you're not the only wet ones."

"Come on, let's just make this quick." Toushirou sighed and squeezed water off his shirt.

After eating lunch, we faced once again the rain pouring hard.

"Can't you unlock it from here?" Rangiku shouted over the sound of the rain.

"It would be dangerous, what if someone steals the car before we get there?" Toushirou put his hands in his pocket, and just now I notice how his white shirt clung onto his toned body. Oh God, are you trying to torture me?

"Let's go already!" Rangiku and Rukia ran under the rain as fast as they could, trying impossibly to avoid the countless raindrops falling.

Once we got in the car, we were all panting, dripping wet from the rain. And a thought popped in my head, and as if reading my mind, Toushirou spoke up.

"If you two wouldn't have run off, I could have just taken the car while you three waited for me under the restaurant's roof."

"Too late for that, genius!" Rukia pointed an accusatory finger at Toushirou. "Next time, say so earlier!"

With a chuckle, Toushirou started the car. "Aye ma'am."

After thirty minutes of Rukia and Rangiku talking about boys, they fell asleep. And here's once again the awkward silence.

Has it always been like this when we were both quiet? Or is this something happening now because I eavesdropped on him?

I turn around and see Rangiku resting her head on Rukia's, both of them snoring. "Hey, wake up... Jeez." I turn back to look at the road in front of me and sigh, knowing that there's no way to wake them up now. What should I tell him now? "Are we still far from home?"

Bad question.

'No shit, Sherlock!' Miss Rational and Miss Sentimental are both glaring at me now, making me shrink further in my seat.

"Just a couple of hours and we'll be home..." Toushirou clutched onto the stirring wheel and turned the car's heater on. "You should wake them up, they'll get a headache if they sleep with wet hair."

"There's no way to wake them up once they fall asleep." I pursed my lips and leaned back with a yawn. I'm starting to feel sleepy too now.

Toushirou glanced at me for a little bit too long and I shifted uncomfortably when he turned back to look at the wet road.

"Don't fall asleep." He warned me.

I just nodded and eventually, I fell asleep.

oOOOo

"Momo..." I stirred in my sleep, groaning in protest at the sweet voice waking me up.

I heard the soothing voice chuckle lovingly. "Wake up." Hmm it sounds so close to me.

My eyes slowly fluttered open and I wince, trying to adapt at the sudden light. As I regain my sight, I see big emerald eyes gleaming in amusement. "What?" I managed to croak out, dazzled by his handsome features.

"We're home." He playfully ruffled my already messy hair because I apparently fell asleep with wet hair. "Come on." Toushirou got off the car and I slowly rub my eyes.

I look down and see one of the t-shirts we got for free at the Rukongai Camping with their logo stamped all over the front of the shirt. We managed to get two shirts, one white with their red logo and the other white with the blue logo.

The one laying on top of my light blue tank top was the white shirt with the red logo. I scratch my head in confusion. Why is this on top of me?

I look out of the car and see Toushirou from the rear-mirror as he gets the bags off the trunk and bringing them inside the house.

I glance at the backseat and Rukia and Rangiku are nowhere to be seen. Where are they?

I lazily unbuckled the seatbelt and got out of the car.

My legs suddenly gave out on me, making me fall on the hard ground. Toushirou rushed to my side. "Jesus, Momo. Are you okay?" He stifled a laugh, making me pout.

"I wanted to hug the ground. It seemed pretty lonely."

Toushirou laughed and helped me up. "Alright, one hug will do for today. Hurry up and go inside, it looks like it's going to rain in any moment now."

We glance up at the dark cloudy sky and I hurry inside the house.

As I took my white Havaianas off- my new all time favourite by the way, I see Rangiku walking out of the kitchen while rubbing her wet hair with a small white towel.

She grinned at me. "Good morning sleeping beauty."

"Where are Shizuka-san and Uncle Juushirou?" I stretch my arms up as I walk in.

"Work." Rangiku walked in the living room and plopped down on the couch. "They'll be back tonight."

"'Kay." I held the white t-shirt in my hand and walked in the bathroom upstairs. My sleepiness immediately wares off as I see my reflection on the mirror.

My clothes were already dry, except for my undies. My red bra was still wet and it could be seen through my white tank top; thank God I put denim shorts on, my panties can't be seen.

I glance at the shirt in my hand and pale. Oh shit, is that why he put a shirt over me?

Am I that hideous? Holy shit, I'm so sorry Toushirou, for giving you such a horrible view. I flush as red as my bra and quickly take a shower and change into a pair of sweatpants and the shirt Toushirou put over me earlier.

I skip downstairs and peek in the living room. "Ran, what would you like for dinner?" I hear the car outside being parked in the garage.

"Anything's fine... How about tempura with maple syrup?" She perked up from the couch where she was slouched down while watching tv.

"... I'll think of something." I shuddered at the thought of the dish she suggested. Note to self: Never leave Rangiku in charge of dinner.

How silly of me, how could I forget her weird taste in food. Just like Orihime...

Oh my, I wonder how Orihime's doing? I should send her a text.

I grab my cellphone from my sweatpants' pocket and walk in the kitchen.

Speaking of Orihime... Where is Rukia?

I quickly type a short text to Orihime and start rummaging through the big refrigerator-size freezer in the kitchen, looking for something to cook.

I hear a thunder roar outside, and it makes me want to tuck under my covers and sleep peacefully in this wonderful cool weather.

Hmm... something with soup will do for this weather.

"Ah man, it started raining." I hear Toushirou complain as he got inside the house. "I'm going to take a shower!" He announced and ran upstairs.

'Should I join?' My little Miss Devil snickered whilst rubbing her hands together, making me blush madly.

Shit, Miss Devil is a part of me, so that means that I am the one thinking that crap.

Not good, not good.

I feel my phone buzzing in my pocket and I check it.

Ichigo was such a gentleman last night. I may or may not have a little crush on him. -Rukia

I snort at Rukia's text. Right, a little innocent crush. I believe you, really. -Momo

Rukia and Ichigo are already an item hm? ... Ichigo?

Oh no! Orihime!

Right on cue, I recieve a text from her.

I'm doing great, Momo-chan! Ne, did you meet Kurosaki-kun when you were in Rukongai? How was he? -Orihime

Uh oh. Trouble trouble trouble.

Back from high school, Orihime and Rukia had a crush on Ichigo. That didn't ruin their friendship, on the contrary, it got their bond to be stronger. But now that the equilibrium has been ruined... I don't think they'll fight, Orihime is just too kind, Rukia just adores Orihime and there's no way she'd pick a fight with her.

I nearly make my phone fall on the floor when someone suddenly poked both my sides. I yelp a half-scream, half-giggle and whip my head around to see Toushirou holding his hands behind his back innocently. "Hey."

I groan. "You almost made me drop my phone. I litteraly saw my whole life pass by in front of my eyes in that moment." I put a hand over my chest, almost forgetting the Rukia-Ichigo-Orihime problem.

"It's just a phone, Momo." Toushirou smiled at me reassuringly. "If you dropped it, I would've bought you a new one."

I roll my eyes. "You always threaten to buy me things." I start getting the ingredients in the fridge to make dinner. "Where do you get all your money to buy stuff?"

He sat on the kitchen counter. "I work part-time."

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. I've never seen him, ever since I got here, go to work. "Really?"

He laughs. "Hard to believe? I often help my parents in their shops. And they pay me."

"Oh wow." I grabbed the carrots and start chopping them on the wooden chopping board. "That sounds cool." I try immagining him working in Uncle Juushirou's art shop, suggesting some nerdy customers or beautiful artists which gadgets and brushes are best to use. Hmm... Okay, sounds acceptable.

But what does he do in Shizuka-san's boutique? I create an immaginary cenario in my mind where he tries on male clothes... but Shizuka-san sells only female clothing since the brand she's working for is Brandy&Melville. So... In my head I see Toushirou posing with a short black classic B&M skirt and one of their extremely short white shirts with their usual quotes.

I snort and almost slip the knife to cut my finger, but Toushirou was quick and pulled my hand away from the knife now laying on the floor. "Jesus, Momo- be careful!"

I shake, holding in my laughter. "Sorry. It's just that- I was immagining you working at Shizuka-san's boutique-" I burst out into fits of giggles when I remember his image in my head. "My immagination got the better of me."

Toushirou shook his head, a smile forming on his tempting lips. "Enlighten me."

It was my turn to shake my head. "You'd punch me."

Amusement danced in his eyes. "Wow, that bad?"

I nodded, giggling to myself as I grabbed the knife and continued on chopping. He sat back up on the counter and waited for me to speak up. I glanced at him, and he looked like a little kid, excited to hear news from Santa Claus. "I tried to immagine you working for your dad, that worked out better than expected. But when it was Shizuka-san's turn." I snort again, holding in my laughter. "I immagined you modeling with female clothes."

Toushirou chuckled. "You have a wild immagination. And what did you expect me to do in Dad's workshop?"

I shrugged. "I thought of you as someone expert with paint, brushes, pencils... art stuff."

"Sorry to pop your bubble, but I only help them to carry heavy boxes when new merchandize arrives at their shop."

"Aw." I pouted and put a pot on the fire of the stove. "Seems like my immagination was better than reality."

"That's usually always the case." Toushirou smiled to himself.

"Hey, you loverbirds." Rangiku walked in the kitchen, scratching her leg with her bare foot. "I'm hungry."

I smile in apology at Toushirou's cousin. "Give me twenty minutes. I'll try to make it fast."

She groggily nodded and yawned. "Man, this weather makes me want to go to sleep."

My cellphone continuosly buzzed in my pocket, and my silly ringtone started ringing loudly.

My hands were too busy and to dirty to get it, but I'm really curious to know at least who's calling. I look up at Toushirou. "Could you please get it?"

He looks at me with wide eyes for a second, then jumps off the counter and hesitantly put his hand in my pocket.

Uhh this is quite intimate. He successfully got my phone and showed me the screen.

"Oh, it's Rukia..." I purse my lips. I bet she just also remembered Orihime.

"Oops." Toushirou accidentally hit the green button and panicked. He put the phone over his ear, and I watch him. "Hey Rukia. Sorry, Momo's kind of busy now... Yeah, I accidentally hit the answer button." He laughed at his mistake. "Oh, err... her hands are kind of occupied now," he glanced back at me. "I don't think she'll be able to talk on the phone now." He suddenly pulled the phone away from his ear, and even I could hear Rukia screaming. "Okay fine. Jeez." Toushirou held the phone over my ear, and I blush madly.

"This better be important." I warn Rukia, lowering the fire of the stove.

"Orihime!" Rukia panicked. "She said she's coming for a visit!"

I sigh. "And the problem is?"

"Ichigo is staying over my apartment!"

I raise my eyebrows. "Well, that's quite the situation you got there."

"No no no no, Momo, please don't leave me, I need your help!" She sounds really desperate.

I purse my lips. "What do you want me to do?"

"Uhhh I don't know! Something! Momo, what should I do?"

"Why don't you just tell her the truth?" I roll my eyes, and while doing so, I remember Toushirou standing next to me, holding the phone at my ear, looking at me curiously. "Oh, shit. Rukia, let me call you back, I'm kind of busy now."

"What?! Momo! No!"

"Bye." I look desperately at Toushirou, who immediately hangs the phone up, catching my Help-signal.

"Well, that was quite the conversation." He smiled and put the phone next to him on the counter.

"Yeah." I quickly chop the chicken into pieces and look for the other vegetables. "Rukia is in deep shit."

oOOOo

"Ah, this is heavenly." Rangiku groans, sipping on the chicken soup I prepared. "Momo, you'll be a perfect wife." Her eyes quickly ran over me and Toushirou then back to me and she gave me a knowing look, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

"Shut up." I mutter as I eat a piece of chicken.

"Soup is good in this cool weather." Toushirou glances at me. "Which reminds me, the aircons are still broken."

"We'll survive for tonight." I sigh and sip on the soup.

"We're home!" We hear Shizuka-san and Uncle Juushirou at the entrance. "You guys, weren't you supposed to be back tomorrow?"

"Yes, but given the bad weather, I thought it would've been better if we came back earlier..." Toushirou explained.

"Well, that's cool." Uncle Juushirou and Shizuka-san walked in the dining room. Shizuka-san suddenly had a cheshire grin on her face and grabbed her camera from her bag, snapping a picture of us. "How cute, Momo and Shirou-chan are wearing the same shirt."

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and look down at my shirt, then at Toushirou's.

Oh...

I'm so tempted to squeal in delight, but I hold my joy in and continue eating dinner.

"You're right." Toushirou smiled warmly at me. "What a coincidence."

"Seriously? You noticed just now?" Asked Rangiku in disbelief. "This idiot couple..."

oOOOo

The birds chirped happily outside. Seems like it's going to be a sunny day, as I feel the rays of sun hitting me directly in my face.

Feels like a very peaceful morning, but I also feel like I forgot something...

I lazily open my eyes and roll to my side, facing Toushirou's bed, seeing him sleeping peacefully like an adorable angel.

Even from this distance, I can se his long lashes resting on his cheeks, his nose, his lips slightly parted, his even and calm breathing... He looks so handsome, so peaceful. Makes me want to lay here and watch him all day long.

But I can't. I sigh as I sit up and rub my eyes. It's lovely to wake up when the first sight in the morning is Toushirou.

I look at my bedside table, where the book I was reading last night rested along with my small lamp and my cellphone. I grabbed my phone to check what time it is.

Oh, it's only 8 am...

Then, my eyes widened.

Hooooly crap. I forgot to call Rukia last night!

I fumble through my pink sheet and stumble clumsily out of the room and call Rukia.

I shut my eyes, expecting to hear her loud voice screaming on top of her lungs to scold me. But I hear her somehow calm, soothing even. "Hey Momo..." She croaked.

"Rukia?" I ask unsure if this calm lady I'm talking to is really her.

"What?" She yawned. I can already immagine her stretching up.

I suppress a laugh of relief. "Nothing... did you actually forget I had to call you last night?"

She was quiet for a while, and I could hear the sound of her sheets rustling and a muffled male voice in the background. "Err... Could you call later, Momo?"

I raise my eyebrows. That dirty son of a- "You got me all worried last night, and now you're making me hang up on you because you're about to get your groove on with Ichigo?"

I can already immagine her blushing. "Stop it!" She scolds Ichigo, surely the guy I heard in the background. "Talk to you later Momo."

"Wait, at least tell me when will Orihime come!" I nearly shout.

"Tomorrow!" Rukia's voice sounded restrained. "Look, I really have to go, bye bye!"

I don't even know what they're doing- or going to do, but whatever.

Oh wait. Ichigo already left Rukongai? I shrug. He must've followed Rukia as soon as we left.

I daze off looking at my phone.

Shit, it's almost August. Orihime's birthday is coming up. And I don't have money to buy her a decent gift.

And Toushirou's birthday is coming up too... And Rukia's... Oh but first it should be Renji. Oh, what about Rangiku's?

I scratch my head, walking downstairs. So many incoming birthdays, and I have no money. I better find a part-time job.

"No!" I hear Toushirou making a mess in our bedroom and he shuffles out, while putting his shirt on, holding onto his bag, his white hair in a beautiful mess and his eyes still sleepy. "I'm going to be late!"

"Wow, that's a first." I hear Shizuka-san say in amusement from the kitchen. "Not going to have breakfast, son?"

"Bye!" Toushirou left in a rush out of the door, and I shrugged, calmly making my way into the kitchen.

As soon as I walked in, Shizuka-san already had an apologetic look on her face, which made me worried. "What's wrong?"

"He left his lunchbox. Momo-chan, could you please bring it to him?"

I munched on the pancakes on the counter. "Okay, I was thinking of looking for a job anyway..."

"Thank you so much!" She clapped her hands happily together. "Looking for a job? Why don't you come and work at my boutique?"

I shook my head, with a thankful smile. "I'm more into books than clothes."

"Well... if you ever change your mind, let me know." She smiles kindly at me and serves a plate of bacon. "Eat up, Momo-chan."

oOOOo

I sigh, looking at my closet... well, not entirely mine, just the half. I bite my lower lip in frustration, putting my hands over my hips.

Rangiku spared no jeans. All of my jeans became denim shorts.

"Moooomo!" Speak of the devil, here she comes busting through doors. "I heard you're going to bring lunch at Toushirou's soccer practice!"

I roll my eyes at her. "You heard it right. I have no jeans to wear. And it's your fault."

She shrugged. "If you don't like shorts, wear a dress."

"No thanks. It's quite windy today." I glance out of the window next to my bed.

"But it's still a very hot day. They say we'll reach around 40°C today. So shorts will do you good." She grinned and grabbed a pair of shorts, which I immediately recognize. Those used to be low-waisted skinny jeans, light blue- almost white. "This and..." Rangiku rummaged through my clothes and a smile appeared on her face when she found what she wanted. "This!" She threw the clothes in my face. "Hurry up and dress up, I wanna style your hair up!"

"What's with you and your Barbie Doll mania..." I grumbled as I put on the clothes she chose.

"Well, I want to become a hair-stylist! So, you'll be my... let's say my practicing model."

I smile. "You finally found out what you want to do."

"About damn time." She opened the door to leave. "Come in my room when you're done."

I sigh. "Aye aye ma'am."

As soon as I fit into my clothes, I walk into her room. Her room is such a mess! It looks like a hurricane came through here!

The only neat part was at the vanity-spot. The mirror was perfectly clean, the desk attached to it neatly arranged with hair-accessories and iron curlers and other stuff such as make up.

"Come on!" She patted on the chair in front of her with a huge grin on her face.

I sit and let her do her magic on me, my back facing the mirror, so I have no idea what she's doing.

"You're also going to look for a part-time job right?" I nodded. "I guess I'll just go with something simple then."

When she was done with my hair, she put false lashes on my lashes and put lipstick on my lips. "You look so... so... mature!"

I turn around to look at myself and nearly cannot recognize the woman looking back at me.

My hair was in loose curls, falling over my white fitting V-neck shirt with three pearl-like buttons coming down from the middle of the neckline. The shirt was quite long for the short, ending two inches above the end of my shorts.

My eyes felt kind of heavy, but they looked pretty good thanks to the make up and my face looked a little bit more mature.

That's a... weird sight.

"Go on and bring him lunch!" Rangiku pulled me up from the chair. "Havaianas or white Chucks will do!"

I force a smile. "Thanks." I usually don't like being dolled up. I feel uncomfortable.

oOOOo

I squirm under the eyes of Toushirou's teammates. Not the first time I've squirmed under people's gazes today. The whole trip to get to Toushirou was just awful.

People were staring at me. Probably disgusted from my shorts, or attracted to my hair wonderfully done by Rangiku. I don't understand why people have to stare at others. Do they even know how uncomfortable that makes others feel?

The coach kindly let me sit onto the benches as the whole team ran around the field. Every now and then I glanced at my wrist watch, wondering when they'll be done.

Toushirou was the first one to finish, and he immediately ran up to me. "Hey." He breathed. "You look stunning."

I blushed madly and held out the lunchbox to him. "You forgot this."

"Thanks... Where are you going?" He smiled kindly, making my legs go jello.

"I- uh... I'm going to look for a part-time job." I smile, remembering the gift I wanted to get him for his eighteenth birthday.

"Oh, really?" He raised his eyebrows in surprise. "You want me to accompany you?"

I immediately shook my head. "I'll be fine. I should try and get accostumed to the city on my own anyway. Don't spoil me." I jokingly warned him, making him roll his eyes at me.

"Whatever. I'll call you when I'm done here." He glanced back at his teammates, all of them staring at us. "You should go."

Ouch. He doesn't want me here? Okay.

Miss Sentimental prepared a blanket, tissues, a big box of ice cream and sat on her pink fluffy couch while turning on the TV and DVD player to watch sad movies.

Yes, yes, I know it hurt. No need to show me how I'll end up in a few days.

"Okay." I breathe out, trying not to sound too disappointed. But I think he noticed, seeing his reaction, getting worried and worked up once again. I smile at him, hoping to fake it well. "I'll see you at home."

I quickly ran off, holding onto my dark blue purse and stop as soon as I'm out of his sight.

'There was no need to make such a dramatic exit.' Miss Rational glared at me through her winged spectacles, with her eyes narrowed.

I frown, putting a hand over my chest, trying to calm down my heart. I slap my face and huff.

"I need to find a job."

Soon enough, I find a couple of libraries and leave my resume, hoping someone will call me and let me work and get money to buy a decent gift for Toushirou's birthday.

Holy crap, am I really trying to find a job only for him?

'It's also for your friends.' Miss Rational corrected me, fixing up nervously her glasses on her nose.

'Shut up, you know it's really just for him.' Miss Feelings (I'd rather call her Feelings now!) said, looking over her pink fluffy couch.

I smile to myself as I walk into another library.

My smile dissolved when I saw a couple of familiar faces. My breath got caught up in my throat, my stomach hurts like shit and I can't utter a word or move.

Miss Rational was frozen behind her big wooden desk, a terrified yet fierce expression on her face.

Miss Feelings flew off, now nowhere to be seen.

Holy shit.
