Chapter 14: Reunion of a Family

Flashback...

"What are we here again?" Izayoi asked fixing up his black tie before he buttoned his sleeves.

"It's just a meeting in a ballroom. I'll be meeting one of my old friends, and I have to meet some of my new clients that needs my expertise." Canaria said with a smile as she look at the mirror, looking at her reflection to see if her dress or her appearance was not mess up.

"Really? I thought you were already set for one. It'll be a headache if you juggle all of them at once." Izayoi said as Canaria look at him with a smile, seeing as he was worried for her in his own way.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine. Who's your mother?" Canaria asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk that rolling off her face as Izayoi look at her and held a thoughtful look.

"You are." Izayoi answered with a smile on his face, while Canaria look at him with a slight frown.

"Shouldn't you answer a little quicker than that? You should be able to answer in less than a second." Canaria explained with a disapproving shake of her head.

"Haha! What can I say? I'm your son." Izayoi stated with a shrug of his shoulder, while a smile was on his face, which caused Canaria to smiled at him.

"Yeah, you are. Anyway, let's go." Canaria said as Izayoi nodded and the two pf them walked out of the dressing room to head towards the ballroom.

Somewhere outside of the ballroom...

"Otou-sama, why should I go this ball? I said that I don't want to take a part of it." Asuna said with a frown of her face. Before this, she was planning her next date with her boyfriend, Izayoi. It has been a three months since they've dated, and no one besides her older brother knew. In all of her dates with Izayoi, she could admit that everything was perfect for them. On the first date, Izayoi invited to eat fine dining at a restaurant in the city. After that, he requested her to choose whatever she wanted to do, much to her joy.

Before the date ended, Izayoi took her to a cruising ship across the sea from a favor that the captain of the skip owes him. The two of them then watched the night sky that was full with twinkling stars just like in Valentine's Day, where they kissed for the first time.

Flashback...

"So, how's your first date? Without nearly being told off." Izayoi asked with a smile looking down at Asuna, who was laying her head on his shoulder while she wrapped her arms around his right arm.

"Fun. I don't think I ever heard from any of my friends that the girls would be asked to do whatever she wants in her first date." Asuna explained with a smile playing on her face. "Anyway, Onii-sama, can keep a secret. He said that you will be responsible if this date goes wrong and If I cried." Asuna said with a smile, looking at the stars display in front of her.

"Well, did this date got worse and terrible as he expected?" Izayoi asked with a small smirk, as Asuna stifle a laugh.

"I think this date is the complete opposite of what he thought. But he is my brother, after all. And this is my first date. How couldn't he be worried?" Asuna said as Izayoi smiled.

"He is your brother, after all." Izayoi said as a smirk appeared on his face.

"Anyway, it looks like I've been nominated as the most fun boyfriend ever, by the way you said that this date was fun." Izayoi said as Asuna stifle a laugh.

"Nominated? Since when? I don't think I ever said that before." Asuna said as she turns to look at Izayoi.

"Want to find out?" Izayoi asked as he leaned closer to Asuna, who immediately blush from the close proximity. But when Izayoi leaned his head closer to her, she responded by leaning her head towards him, and they both shared a romantic kiss. Asuna wrapped her hands around his neck as Izayoi wrap his hands around her.

After a while, the both of them pulled back as Asuna rest her head on his chest. "I nominate you as the best kisser ever." Asuna said with a smile, recalling how passionate and sweet, the kiss they shared.

"And you are nominated as the most beautiful girl ever." Izayoi said with a smile as Asuna look up at him in surprise and she instantly blushes from his words.

"How can you say that? I-I'm not the most-" Asuna was cut off as Izayoi kissed her on the lips, preventing her from speaking any further. Meanwhile, Asuna closed her eyes and relaxed under the kiss, loving the feeling of kissing Izayoi more.

After a while, Izayoi pulled back as Asuna breath a couple of breaths, noted that the kiss last longer, much to her joy inside.

"If I'm the best kisser, then you should be the most beautiful girl ever, okay?" Izayoi asked as Asuna smiled at him and nodded.

"Okay, Izayoi-kun." Asuna said as she then rest her head again on Izayoi's chest. "But can we stay here for a while? I like the view from here." She said as Izayoi smiled and look at the stars that filled the night sky.

"Whatever you want, Asuna." Izayoi mutters which caused a smile to appear on Asuna's face and she then slowly snuggle closer in Izayoi's arms, wanting to remember this night with him.

"Thank you, Izayoi-kun..." Asuna mutters as she and Izayoi watched the stars together in the silence but romantic atmosphere.

Present

After the date, she decided to planned the next date, which amuses Izayoi. But after reading several magazine which had dates that were planned by the females exclusively, she already thought that this date would go perfectly if she followed the steps in the magazine. But after the second date, she would slightly admit that Izayoi is better at planning the date than her. But it was slightly on her opinion. Why did she forget to bring her purse when she had planned the date which cost below her allowance?

Meanwhile, in the second date, she was grateful that Izayoi had a discount in one of the restaurant that she had reserved for them just from knowing the manager. After that, she took Izayoi to a photo booth beside the arcade. When they were taking the picture, she always blush when Izayoi decided to tease her by pecking her forehead or lightly kissing her on the lips. When they had taken the pictures, she looked at the pictures and she instantly blushed from seeing several pictures that showed them kissing. But then she smiled when she looked at the couple pictures at the end of the long list of pictures. And one of them was showing Izayoi and her, smiling at the camera while holding their right hands together with their fingers intertwined with each other.

Flashback...

"Do you want to keep those?" Izayoi asked looking at the list of pictures in Asuna's hand.

"Can I?" Asuna asked as she turns to look at Izayoi.

"No problem. You can keep it. Let's just say, it's you reward for planning a date for the first time." Izayoi explained with a grin as Asuna put the list of pictures inside her handbag before she looked at Izayoi.

"But what's your reward when you did our first date?" Asuna asked with a slight frown, recalling that she didn't give any reward for the first date he planned.

"My reward is just being with you, and that's enough for me. And that date was better than I expected. In the end, I have the greatest reward. And that is you." Izayoi said with a smile, as Asuna felt touched from his words and she smiled wide at him.

Suddenly, Asuna step forward and pecked Izayoi's lips, as Izayoi's eyes widen in surprise by Asuna's bold action.

Asuna pulled back her head as she shyly blushed, "That is your reward for this date." Asuna said glancing sideways from embarrassment, afraid to look at Izayoi directly from her shyness and embarrassment of her bold action. Meanwhile, Izayoi's eyes soften as a smile spread across his face.

"Do you want to walk for a while?" Izayoi asked extending his hand towards Asuna, who look at his hand and then at him.

"Okay." Asuna answered with a smile, taking his hand in hers as the both of them walked away from the arcade.

"I love you, Izayoi-kun." Asuna mutters resting her head comfortably on Izayoi's shoulder.

"I love you, too." Izayoi replied with a smile, resting his head on hers while the two walk comfortably on the street, with their hands intertwined with each other.

Present

Asuna smiled as she looked down at the floor, reminiscing the time she spent together with Izayoi on their first and second dates.

"Asuna?" Shouzou called out as Asuna shook her head from her thought as she turns her head to look at her father standing by the doorway. "Are you ready?" Shouzou asked as Asuna recalled that she had to get ready to come out of the big double doors when the announcer announced her family.

"G-Give me a minute! I'll be out in a minute!" Asuna said as Shouzou nodded and step outside to wait by his wife, that was waiting by the wall.

"How is she?" She asked as Shouzou looked at her wife, Kyouko.

"She's not ready. She'll be ready in a minute." Shouzou stated as her wife look at her phone, seeing her texts that were replied by one of her old agents. Kyouko is a fairly tall, middle-aged woman. Even though she is thin, her solid frame removes any sense of slimness. Her hair, which is dyed in a rich, brown color, is parted to the sides neatly cut along her jaw. Even though her face is beautiful, her high nose and jawline, as well as the deep wrinkles near her mouth create a severely cold impression. Kyouko also has brown eyes.

"Okay. Does she know that I set up Sugou to marry her?" She asked as Shouzou wore a frown.

"Sadly, no. But can't we delay the marriage for a little while?" Shouzou asked as Kyouko look at him, confusion written all over her face.

"What do you mean?" She asked narrowing her eyes as Shouzou sighed.

"I think she likes a certain boy in school." Shouzou said as Kyouko put her phone inside her hand bag.

"Nonsense, she will be married to Sugou. I don't want to her to taste the life of a middle-class family. I want her to taste the life of an upper family." Kyouko explained as Shouzou held a displeasing smile, knowing that her wife wanted Asuna to be in a rich's family. "Or… There is another person that I would want to wed her with." Kyouko said with a thoughtful look as Shouzou look at her with interest, seeing as there was another candidate to marry Asuna instead of Sugou.

"Anyway, it's been a minute. Why isn't she here?" Kyouko asked tapping her foot on the ground as she waited for Asuna to come out with the dress she bought for he to wear on the ball.

"Asuna?" Shouzou called out as Asuna step outside the door and walked towards her parents.

"I'm here. I'm sorry." Asuna said with a slight bow of her head. Asuna was wearing a 1-shoulder red dress that reached her knees, and she was wearing red heels to match her red dress.

"Don't worry. Anyway, we should go." Shouzou said as he lead the way towards the ball, while Kyouko walked beside him, followed by Asuna, who walked behind them.

Kyouko heard her phone vibrated as she pulled it out of handbag and open the screen lock. She then looked at the new message sent to her by her old agent.

"I'm bringing company along."

"Who?" Kyouko asked as she replied the message back.

"You'll know when you see him with me."

"Him?" Kyouko thought in curiosity. She then typed to reply, "When will you arrived?" After a while, a reply was sent as Kyouko look at the new message.

"I arrived a while ago. I'm just finishing up. I can't miss to meet one of my old acquaintances, can I? See you, Kyouko, :)"

"Canaria…" Kyouko said as she shook her head at the happy icon displayed beside the last words. She then closed her phone and put it inside her handbag.

"Who are you bringing with?" Kyouko asked herself as she knew that Canaria was a rich lady in spite of she was a single mother, raising her single child. "Is she bringing her son?" Kyouko asked in realization as she glanced at Asuna, who look down with a small frown on her face.

"I wish I didn't go to this ball. I should have just sneak outside to meet with Izayoi-kun. That would be better than this." Asuna thought as she put her hands together and sighed deeply.

"Asuna, keep your head straight." Kyouko said as Asuna look at her in surprise. "You should keep your head straight." She said while she look forward at the doors that would announced their family.

"Okaa-san, why am I here?" Asuna asked suddenly, as Kyouko stopped in her track, followed by Shouzou. "I mean, you said Sugou will not be attending here. But why am I here?" Asuna asked as Kyouko turns around.

"Well, there is another alternative to your marriage." Kyouko said as Asuna look at her. "There is another person you would be married to instead of Sugou. You can choose between the two. Either way, the two of them has an upper class family. Even if this one has had a rough life thus far." Kyouko explained as Asuna became intrigued by her words, while Shouzou look on between his wife and daughter.

"Really?" Asuna questioned as Kyouko look at her.

"You can know him better through this ball, because you will be dancing with him." Kyouko said as Asuna's eyes widen in surprise.

"Dance? But I don't know how to dance…" Asuna mutters.

"It's okay, the person is said to be quite the dancer. But don't embarrass us by doing a lot of mistakes while you dance. You have to be calm and collective, to at least know the basic steps of dancing and later, the advanced ones." Kyouko explained as Asuna breath a relieved breath, knowing that the person know how to dance than her, who had no experience on dancing whatsoever.

"We should be going. The announcer will call us after this." Shouzou said looking down at his watch before he looked at Kyouko and Asuna.

"Before that, here. You will need this." Kyouko said as she gave Asuna, a white masquerade mask. Asuna took it with both of her hands as she look down at it.

"Why?" Asuna asked.

"You need to wear this when you're dancing with the man." Kyouko referring to the man that she would be married with instead of Sugou. "For your information, he is the same age as you." Kyouko said as Asuna look at her in surprise, surprised to hear her statement.

"Come now, we don't want to be late. " Kyouko said as she continued walking, followed by Shouzou, who walked beside her, followed by Asuna behind them.

"Okay." Asuna answered as she keep her head straight, and put the white masquerade mask on her face before tying the strings behind her head. After she was done, she looked up at the big double doors that greet her view.

"Introducing, the Yuuki family! Yuuki Shouzou, Yuuki Kyouko and their beautiful daughter, Yuuki Asuna!" The announcer announced as the double doors opens, allowing Shouzou to hold out his arm beside Kyouko, to which she put her right arm inside his. They then walked through the double doors, followed by Asuna, who closely follows them inside the ballroom. The ballroom was decorated fancily just for this evening. The whole room was white in color and there were a lot of tables that had wine and food set up on each tables.

"Wow, isn't she magnificent?" One of the guys complimented seeing Asuna in her red dress.

"Yeah, she's pretty!" His friend complimented beside him as other guys paid their attention to Asuna, who glanced away from their stares.

Dressing Room

"I still don't get why should I go to this ball? I should go and meet Asuna instead." Izayoi said with a sigh as he put his hands in his pockets. He was wearing a black suit, with a white shirt underneath and a black tie. Also, he wore black shoes and he wore a black hat on top of his head.

"Don't worry, you'll be with her soon enough." Canaria said with a smile, recalling that she had set up this entire ball."What do you mean?" Izayoi asked with a curious look.

"Nothing. Anyway, you should wear your masquerade mask." Canaria stated pointing her finger at the mask in Izayoi's right hand. The white mask has two slit symbols both of its eyes. The mask however was a half mask as the lower part that covered the mouth was excluded.

"This mask… How did you find it anyway? I wore this when I'm in Miyagi once. I never thought I wear it again." Izayoi said looking down at his mask as he recalled an old couple living in Miyagi.

"I know. You remember them, right?" Canaria asked.

"How could I forget? They took care of me when I went to travel alone in Miyagi. That was when you had a business elsewhere overseas, right?" Izayoi asked as Canaria nodded.

"Sorry, I couldn't come along. It was at the last minute that I had to pack my things up and left to overseas. But at the same time, I wanted to know if you can do anything without me." Canaria stated with a small smirk as Izayoi look at her with a smirk of his own.

"Really? I think I survived a couple of months In Miyagi without you. I help the old couple too, with their granddaughter." Izayoi said as he recalled the old couple had a granddaughter who loved with them.

"Granddaughter, huh?" Canaria asked with a mischievous smile. "How is she?" She added as Izayoi chuckle.

"She always bugs me to take off my mask, and she always stare at my mask when she doesn't have anything to do." Izayoi stated as Canaria laughed.

"Anyway, did you think it's strange to wear that kind of mask for that couple of months? I mean, did those old folks asked about the reason you're wearing it?" Canaria asked.

"They asked me after I lived there for a week. I answered that I don't want to revealed my face until the day I left." Izayoi said as Canaria stopped walking as she look at him.

"Do you take off your mask when you were about to leave?" Canaria asked.

"Yeah. But just to those two. Their granddaughter was asleep at that time, so she never knew." Izayoi answered.

"What do they say once you took off your mask?" Canaria questioned.

Flashback…

The 13 year-old Izayoi stood to stand in front of the old couple in front of their house. He was carrying a bag with the straps over his shoulders.

"Are you going?" The old man asked standing next to his wife as they look down at Izayoi, who nodded.

"Yoi… That's not your real name, right?" The old man's wife asked as Izayoi shook his head.

"No… It's not." Yoi answered. "It's part of my name." He added.

"Why do you wear your mask at the beginning and told us your fake name?" The old man asked as Yoi smiled, which could be seen by the old man and his wife.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to be a burden if you know me." Yoi said as the old man shook his head.

"You were never a burden to us. We were grateful to take care of you. But I could see that you can take care of your own food and everything. On my opinion, we weren't taking care of you at all." The old man said as Yoi shook his head.

"No, you welcome me with open arms. And even if I took care of my own food and all that other stuff, you were kind enough to let me live here for a couple of months. Thanks." Yoi said smiling at the old couple, who couldn't deny his statement.

"Well, why didn't just left? You could have just left without us knowing." The old man asked.

"I'm just saying goodbye and to show my gratitude to you," Yoi said as he grabbed his mask and pulled it down, revealing his face to the couple. "Thanks, Obaa-san, Oji-san. The name's Sakamaki Izayoi. You can call me Izayoi." Yoi introduced himself.

"I'll be… You were one of the athletes that won first place, right? I heard from the news from the folks around the town." The old man said as Izayoi smiled and nodded.

"Those other athletes were lame. They can't even beat me to a running competition." Izayoi stated as the old man laughs while the old woman just smiled at him. "Anyway, my mother should be waiting somewhere in Miyagi. I'll be going now." Izayoi said as he put the mask on his face and bowed his head to them.

"What about Asuna? Don't you want to say goodbye to her?" The old woman asked as Izayoi turns around.

"She's asleep, right? I don't want to interrupt her sleep. She should have a sweet dream for a girl like her." Izayoi commented as the old couple smiled at him, knowing how he cared for their granddaughter. Izayoi turned his head halwayf to look at the old couple, "Bye, Oji-san, Obaa-san." Izayoi stated before he look forward and walked away.

"Yoi-kun!" A voice shouted as Izayoi stopped in his track and look behind him, seeing the 13 year-old Asuna breath a couple of breaths before she looked up at him. "Where are you going? Are you… leaving?" Asuna asked with a small frown.

"Yeah. It's time that I should leave." Izayoi exclaimed as Asuna ran towards him before she stop in front of him.

"Why?" Asuna asked.

"Well, my vacation time here is over." Izayoi answered as Asuna frowned.

"Really? I thought you would stay longer." Asuna stated as Izayoi smirked.

"Really? I thought I remembered that you only stare at my mask all day." Izayoi teased as Asuna blush in embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry, but you wouldn't take off that mask… I just want to see your face, that's all." Asuna reasoned as Izayoi smiled.

"You will, eventually." Izayoi said.

"How about now?" Asuna asked.

"No. But you have to find out In the future, okay?" Izayoi said as Asuna pouted. "Don't worry, we'll meet again." Izayoi smiled as Asuna immediately brightens from his words.

"Really?" Asuna asked as Izayoi nodded.

"Really." Izayoi answered as Asuna step closer in front of him.

"Promise?" Asuna asked.

"Promise. I always keep my promises." Izayoi answered causing Asuna to brighten up as she smiled at him.

Present

"So, their granddaughter was Asuna." Canaria said looking at Izayoi, who told the story about his goodbye with the old couple and his promise with Asuna.

"I blame my memory for this." Izayoi stated closing his eyes as he sighed, not believing that he forgot that Asuna was their granddaughter.

"You forgot, that's all. It happens to all of us." Canaria assured as Izayoi open his eyes and look at her.

"I know. But still, how could I forget?" Izayoi asked himself as he pondered on the thought for a while.

"Canaria-sama," An attendant said appearing before Canaria and Izayoi. "They will announce your name soon. Please be prepared." She said with a bow before she left.

"Anyway, we should go." Canaria said as she walked to stand before the big double doors. "You do know how to make yourself an entrance, right?" Canaria asked to her son.

"Hey, who do you think I am?" Izayoi asked with a smirk.

"Please welcome, Sakamaki Canaria!" The announcer announced as Canaria look up at her name being called.

"I should be going." Canaria said as she walked away towards the double doors.

"I should prepare." Izayoi said looking at his mother before he put on his mask while a smirk appeared on his lips.

"Canaria?" Asuna thought hearing her name being announced. She then looked around to find her but there were a lot of people that block her view completely.

"Asuna." Kyouko called out as Asuna look at her before she stood in front of her.

"Yes, Okaa-san?" Asuna asked as Kyouko look at the middle of the ball room.

"You have to stand in the middle of the ball room. It's over there." Kyouko said pointing her finger at the empty space at the middle of the ball room, while Asuna raised her eyebrow, noting that people didn't stand in the middle of the ball room, which confuses her. "That space is reserved for the two of you. Before the ball started, the people already know not to step onto the middle of the room, because it has already been reserved." Kyouko explained as Asuna look at the empty spot in the middle of the ball room.

"Should I stand on it now?" Asuna asked.

"Yes. The guest will be coming soon." Kyouko said as Asuna nodded and she slowly walked towards the empty spot, while everyone looked at her, noticing that she was walking towards the middle of the room.

When Asuna step onto the middle spot, she looked around the room, trying to find her the guest that her mother said. But after a while of searching, she sighed, giving up her search.

"Where is he? Shouldn't he be here soon?" Asuna asked herself.

Suddenly, all the lights inside the ball room focuses onto the grand door, which Asuna walked through.

Asuna look at the grand door, "Is he here?" Asuna asked in curiosity as he watched the people make a path that leads towards the middle spot of the ballroom, which Asuna was on.

"Presenting, the guest of honor! This guest of honor will be a partner for Miss Yuuki Asuna, this evening, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you all welcome, Mister Yoi!" The announcer said over the microphone as Asuna's eyes widen, while the grand doors opens up.

When the grand doors opens, someone walked casually through the doors, "Welcome, everybody to this ball!" A voice shouted as everyone clapped their hands at the man entering the ballroom.

"Yoi?" Asuna asked in thought, seeing the man was wearing the same mask as her friend wore, when she was 13 years-old while she was in Miyagi.

"He's so handsome! Why is he wearing a mask though?" One of the women asked as she looked at him.

"Who cares! That mask is making him more mysterious. Ooo... I want to take off his mask to see his face!" Her friend said as she held a dreamy look, imagining what his face would look like while her friend look at her with a sweatdrop.

The man named Yoi, walked through the path that leads straight to the middle of the ballroom. When Yoi stop to stand in front of Asuna, he grabbed his black hat and put it to the side while he bowed down at Asuna, who blushes from being bowed to.

"My Lady." Yoi said before he stood up from his bowing and put his black hat on his head.

"Y-Yes, Yoi-san." Asuna said as she curtsied.

"Nice to meet you again, Asuna." Yoi said with a smile as he grabbed Asuna's hand and kissed her knuckles, causing her to blush. When he pulled back, Asuna looked down at her hand, feeling warm all of a sudden by his kiss.

"D-Do you remember me?" Asuna asked as Yoi nodded.

"Don't you remember me?" Yoi teased with a playful smile as Asuna smiled.

"I remember you. We made a promise, right?" Asuna asked as Yoi nodded.

"Yeah. Anyway, you look beautiful today." Yoi complimented with a smile as Asuna slightly blush from his compliment.

"T-Thank you." Asuna thanked him with a small smile.

"Since we made the promise, you said you would take my mask off to see my face. Well, will you make me take off this mask?" Yoi asked as he put his hand under his chin.

"I will." Asuna said with a smirk as Yoi smirk in return.

"Maybe... But you will only get one chance before this ball is over. So, may I ask on how you will charm me into taking off this mask?" Yoi asked as Asuna looked around the stares that people were giving her. Asuna then look at Yoi and think for a while on how she could make him into taking off his mask which she really wanted to do for a long time. But the only thing she could do was...

"Um… Dancing." Asuna answered as she sighs as Yoi smirked.

"Are you familiar yourself with dancing by any chance?" Yoi questioned as Asuna look down as she blush in embarrassment.

"No…" Asuna answered as Yoi held a soft smile.

"Well, since I'm your partner for this evening. I'll teach you about dancing. May I have this dance?" Yoi stated as he extend his hand towards Asuna for her to take it.

Asuna look at his outstretched hand and she slowly put her hand on his, which caused Yoi to grip her hand gently.

"You may." Asuna replied with a smile.

"Now, put your hand on my left shoulder." Yoi instructed as Asuna put her other hand on Yoi's left shoulder.

"Now what?" Asuna asked as Yoi smiled and put his left hand on Asuna's waist, surprising her.

"Relax. This is all part of dancing." Yoi explained as Asuna relaxed by exhaling a deep breath.

"Really?" Asuna asked looking up at Yoi, who nodded.

"Have you never seen people dance before?" Yoi asked as Asuna glanced sideways as she blushed from embarrassment.

"No." Asuna mutters as a slow song was being played, which caused the gentlemen to invite their ladies to a dance on the dance floor.

"Let's start the lesson." Yoi said as he slowly move his foot behind, followed by Asuna, who move her foot forward. Slowly the two continued to move back and forth for a while, not caring that they have to follow the rhythm of the song as the gentleman is trying to teach his lady and partner, how to dance.

"Now, you're starting to get the hang of it." Yoi commented as Asuna slightly blush from his compliment.

"Thank you." Asuna said.

"Do you want to take the next step?" Yoi asked as Asuna look up at him.

"Okay." Asuna answered with a small smile.

"Follow my lead." Yoi stated as he slowly move his foot to the right, and then to the left, followed by Asuna, who move her foot to the right and then to the left. Then, Yoi lift Asuna's hand that he held and spun her around in a circle, causing her red skirt to flare out, as Asuna held a surprise look, surprised from his dancing move. The other people who were dancing stopped for a second as they look at the couple dancing.

"Are you having fun?" Yoi asked as Asuna return close to him.

"Yes. I never know dancing could be fun!" Asuna said with a smile as she and Yoi danced by the beat of the song. They danced slowly, but elegantly as they move from one step to another. Several girls held happy looks as they watched Asuna having fun with Yoi.

"I'm happy to bring you that fun." Yoi stated as he spun her around, flaring out her red skirt again, before he quickly return her to him with one swift pull, bringing her closer to him.

"And I'm thankful that I receive it." Asuna replied as the two then continued to dance. While the people around them gazed at them with awe, happy and astonished looks.

Near one of the tables...

"It seems they danced well with each other, don't you think, Kyouko?" Canaria asked standing beside Kyouko, who was watching Asuna, who held a happy smile on her face while she dances with Yoi in the middle of the ballroom.

"They dance well." Kyouko complimented as she look at Canaria. "Anyway, where's your company? I thought you said that you were bringing company with you?" Kyouko questioned as Canaria smiled.

"My company is dancing with your daughter right now." Canaria stated as Kyouko looked back at Asuna dancing with Yoi.

"That's your company? How could he…?" Kyouko asked as Canaria put her hand on her shoulder, which caused Kyouko to look at her.

"Let's say I set up this entire ball just for them." Canaria said with a smile. "Let them have their fun." Canaria added.

"The one dancing with Asuna, is your son, correct?" Kyouko asked.

"How do you know that? Are you a mind reader, Kyouko?" Canaria joked as Kyouko looked back at Asuna and Yoi.

"I suppose I could let them have their fun. Anyway, your son is starting to become quite the news in the media, right?" Kyouko asked as Canaria nodded.

"Yeah. I think every tournament he participated, he would gain the media press attention and after he won the tournament, he would also gain fame." Canaria said as she glanced at Kyouko, who held a small smile on her face while she looked at Yoi and Asuna dancing happily.

"Even Izayoi doesn't really like fame. But he would do good things with all that money he gained." Canaria thought with a smile as she looked at her son and Asuna.

"I think I can consider him to be the husband of Asuna in the future." Kyouko said as Canaria look at her.

"Really? I thought you be against that considering your attitude." Canaria said as Kyouko looked at her.

"What attitude?" Kyouko asked as Canaria smiled and waved her hand in dismissal.

"Nothing. But are you serious?" Canaria asked as Kyouko nodded. "Then, this would be some good news for the two of them." Canaria mutters under her breath as she and Kyouko looked at Asuna and Yoi again.

On the dance floor, Yoi was twirling Asuna in a circle for the last time before he dip her to the ground, with her head nearly touching the ground, finishing the dance.

"Bravo!"

"Wonderful!"

"Spectacular!"

"So beautiful!"

"What an amazing dance!"

The people commented all around them as Yoi looked at Asuna, who was smiling up at him. Yoi picked Asuna up from the ground as he pulled back his hands and bowed his head, but not before he held his black hat over his chest.

"It's a pleasure to dance with you, My Lady." Yoi said before he brought his head back up.

"It's a pleasure to be led by an impressive dancer such as yourself, Yoi." Asuna said with a curtsy.

"That's a part of my name, Asuna." Yoi stated as Asuna look at him after she had curtsied.

"A part of your name?" Asuna asked in confusion.

After that, Yoi grab Asuna's hand and brought it up to his mask, surprising her.

"You said, you wanted to find out my face behind my mask." Yoi stated. "You had fun this evening, so I figure you should be rewarded for that." Yoi added as Asuna look up at him.

"I had fun but I don't get why you should reward me for this." Asuna explained with a small frown Yoi smiled.

"I have my personal reasons. If you want to know about those reasons, you can take my mask off. I don't mind. As I said, this will be the last chance you will get to before I leave." Yoi explained as he grasped Asuna's cheek, surprising her.

The atmosphere around them begins to move slowly as Asuna felt Yoi's hand on her cheek and somehow she knew that his touch was familiar. And then she realized that the entire time she was dancing, she was easily flustered and she was always smiling, which confused her. Even if Yoi was her friend in Miyagi and he stayed in her grandparent's home for a couple of months, she knew that she doesn't get flustered easily, except for the person she love, who wasn't present in the ball. But somehow and strangely, Yoi was able to make her smile and flustered easily, just like a certain someone she love, which completely confuses her because Izayoi wasn't in the ballroom now.

"Yoi…" Asuna mutters as she looked up at Yoi, who held a smile under his mask. A smile that she instantly recognizes, which caused her eyes to widen in disbelieve. Then, she recalled his familiar touch, his hair that resembles someone she knew, and lastly his familiar smile that she knows too well about.

Then, her eyes soften and a wide smile begins to spread across her face, recognizing the person behind the mask. Asuna grabbed the edge of Yoi's mask and slowly she pulled it down till his nose, which reveals a certain pair of purple eyes. And then, she slowly pulled the mask off completely as she looked at the face of her un-masked friend.

"Izayoi-kun…" Asuna said as Izayoi smile at her and he pulled the masquerade mask off of her face, revealing her happy face behind the mask.

"Surprise." Izayoi exclaimed as Asuna hugged him, wrapping her arms around him as she smiled under his black suit.

"It's a lovely surprise that I love." Asuna said as Izayoi wrapped his arms around her, while he still held her mask in his right hand.

"It looks like you've found out about each other." A voice said interrupting their moment, as Asuna pulled back from the hug and look behind her, seeing a happy Canaria and her mother standing side by side.

"More like Asuna found out about you, Izayoi." Canaria said with a smile as Asuna smile at her.

"It seems that in this entire ball I've seen you two dancing on the floor. You two were good." Kyouko commented as Canaria cross her arms and slightly nudge her shoulder, which caused Kyouko to sigh. "You two were amazing." She said as Asuna smiled wide at her for her compliment.

"Thank you, Okaa-san!" Asuna replied as Kyouko look at Izayoi, who bows his head at her with his hat over his chest before he stood up and put his black hat back onto his head.

"I've heard a lot about you, Izayoi-kun." Kyouko stated as Izayoi held a small smirk on his face.

"Really? What's that?" He asked intrigued.

"You're our country sport's athlete. You're one of the youngest boys I've heard that gained a lot of fame amongst most boys that usually studies without making any profits. Even some abroad sport's couches wanted to meet you in person if I heard correctly." Kyouko explained with a small smile as Izayoi held a playful smile.

"You've heard correct. He was on one of the couches that weren't stuck ups like some couches in other schools." Izayoi said as Kyouko nodded in understanding.

"You have also made me won 20, 000 yen in a bet." Kyouko stated, surprising Asuna, knowing that her mother even bet on her boyfriend.

"Some workers tend to choose the other athletes, right?" Izayoi asked as Kyouko nodded.

"I didn't even bet anything. But they chose me to represent you if you win. And so, after watching the recent tournament that you've won, I can clearly say that I'm a little happy about winning." Kyouko said with an amused smile, which surprises Asuna because she had never seen her mother smile before, in terms of her cold attitude lately.

"You're welcome." Izayoi said with a smile as Asuna step forward, facing her mother.

"Okaa-san, is Izayoi-kun the one that would marry me?" Asuna asked, feeling anxious inside as she held her hands together over her dress.

"Since I can see that you're happy being with him, I don't see why not." Kyouko answered with a small smile as Asuna suddenly hugged her, completely surprising her.

"Thank you, Okaa-san! Thank you!" Asuna said with a happy smile as she hugged her mother in pure happiness.

"Y-You're welcome." Kyouko replied surprised by her daughter's outburst, as she lightly tap her back with her hand, feeling awkward just by being hugged by her daughter.

After a while, Asuna pulled back from the hug and then smiles at her mother. "Thank you, Okaa-san!" Asuna said again as Kyouko composed herself as she look at her daughter.

"It's not a problem. Canaria assured me that her son would be a great match to you." Kyouko explained as Asuna look at Izayoi and smile at him, to which he smiles in return. "Anyway, I received word that you two had been hiding your true relationship for a couple of months now?" Kyouko asked as Asuna looked at her, surprised on how she found out.

"How did you find out about that, Okaa-san? Did Onii-san say that?" Asuna stated as Kyouko raised an eyebrow at her.

"Koichirou knew about this?" Kyouko asked as Asuna hold a confused look.

"If it wasn't him, then, who told you?" Asuna asked.

"Canaria told me. I will deal with Kouichirou later about this matter of your secret relationship. Aside from that, I can honestly say that you two won't have to get to know each other seeing as you two had already known each other better." Kyouko stated.

"It is true about their true match to each other. So, why deny it, Kyouko?" Canaria asked as Kyouko looked at her.

"Will I ever win against you in an argument?" Kyouko asked as Canaria smiled at her.

"No." She answered as Kyouko nodded. "Anyway, why don't we take a picture of the soon to-be newlyweds?" Canaria asked with a smile as she looked at the blushing Asuna and smiling Izayoi.

"That'll be cool." Izayoi said with a smile.

"Y-Yeah, I don't mind." Asuna said still blushing from the soon to-be newlyweds that was said by Canaria.

"Thank you." Canaria replied as she looked at Izayoi and Asuna, while she take out her camera out of her handbag. "Can you two move closer?" Canaria asked as Asuna moved to stand next to Izayoi, who wrap an arm around her, causing her to smile. Asuna then put her hands together, with Izayoi's mask in her hands while Izayoi had her mask in his right hand, showing it beside him.

"Great. Don't you two look like the cutest and lovable couple ever?" Canaria asked as she position her camera to the right angle to take the perfect picture. "Okay. Say Izasuna!" Canaria said with a smile as Izayoi and Asuna smiled at the camera.

"Izasuna!"

"Asuna..." Izayoi thought as an image of Asuna smiling at him while she was sitting up on her hospital bed appeared in his mind. "Just..." Suddenly, there was an image of Asuna, who was still on her hospital bed but the statistics of her vitals went down to zero.

"Hang on!" Izayoi said as he press the gas, and his car drove faster towards the hospital, fearing for Asuna's safety. Meanwhile, Yui grab her seat belts tightly and held on to it, as she noticed the car had drove faster than before.

"Papa..." Yui said as she stare up at Izayoi's worried face. "Mama, please be okay..." Yui said hoping that her mother was safe and sound.

After a while, Izayoi drive inside the parking lot of the hospital and parked his car into one of the parking lots. A few lots next to his car was a big white car.

Izayoi then step outside of the car, while Yui pulled the seat belts off from her. Izayoi walked to the left side of the car and open the back door of the car, allowing Yui to step outside of the car.

But before Yui step fully out of the car, she suddenly spotted someone from behind Izayoi, running towards them, specifically Izayoi.

"Papa! Behind you!" Yui shouted pointing her finger behind Izayoi, who grab a skateboard from under the seats and he whirled around, smashing the skateboard on the person's face which caused the said person to yell.

"Ahh! You..." A voice said with anger in his tone as Izayoi look at the person, while he held out his right hand in front of Yui, who held a scared look at the sight of, Sugou.

"Sugou..." Izayoi said narrowing his eyes at Sugou, who held a smirk on his face.

"You're late, Izayoi-kun. What if I'd caught a cold?" Sugou asked coolly as he look up at Izayoi, revealing a scar between his eyes. "That was a horrible thing you did, Izayoi-kun. I can still feel the pain." Sugou explained.

"Maybe you should keep that pain while you still can. That's not nearly the pain you caused Asuna." Izayoi said as he clench his fingers on the skateboard. "Just turn yourself in, or you'll get in much more pain than that little scar. Admit it, you're finished." He exclaimed as he pointed his skateboard.

"Finished? There are plenty of companies that would want me. Yes, once my research is complete, I can become a true king. The god of this world. But first, I'm going to kill you, Izayoi-kun." Sugou said as he slowly walked towards Izayoi.

"Papa..." Yui said as Izayoi look at her.

"Don't worry, Papa's got it under control." Izayoi said with a smile, before he turns his attention at Sugou. He threw down his skateboard in front of him as he put his right foot down on the skateboard, pushing back and forward, feeling the ground wasn't as slippery as it looks like even if its snowing. But he knows that the snow had fell a couple of minutes before he got into the car. So, the snow around the parking lot wasn't heavily snowed yet.

"It's all because of you! You, Izayoi-kun!" Sugou yelled out as he charged towards Izayoi, who held a smirk on his face.

"Come on! Catch me if you can!" Izayoi said as he skated forward towards Sugou, who smirks and raised his knife to slash at him. When Izayoi was in front of Sugou, he put his right hand on Sugou's shoulder and front flip above him, while his skateboard passed through his legs.

"What?" Sugou exclaimed in surprise as he look up at Izayoi, who was front flipping above him. When Izayoi landed on the ground, Sugou turn halfway to look at Izayoi. But he was interrupted as a kick was buried in his stomach, which caused him to flew back towards the lamp post.

"Ugh..." Sugou exclaimed as his back hit the lamp post, to which he releases his knife on the ground. He then look up at Izayoi, who was slowly walking towards him. "Stand up. Where's the God you wanted to be?" Izayoi asked as Sugou grab his knofe and immediately stand up from the ground.

"Argh!" Sugou charged towards Izayoi again with his knife aiming at Izayoi's chest.

"Slow. Too slow." Izayoi said as he walk a few steps behind while Sugou was charging at him.

When Sugou was front of Izayoi, he then thrust his knife with all his strength. "Die, Sakamaki!" Sugou shouted as his knife come closer and closer towards Izayoi.

"Too slow!" Izayoi said as he extend his hand and lift up Sugou's hand that held the knife with two fingers, which caused the knife to flew backwards.

"What?!" Sugou stated in surprise as he look behind him, seeing the knife embedded in the snow filled ground.

"You should watch where your opponent is, Bastard!" Izayoi said with a glare as Sugou look at him and instantly, he was assaulted with a punch on his cheek, causing him to step back.

After he was punched, Sugou grab his head and waited for the dizziness to go away. But a hand grab his collar, which caused Sugou to look at Izayoi's cold and vengeful eyes. Izayoi then kneed his stomach, causing Sugou to cough up blood from his mouth and his legs immediately begin to fail him as he drop to the ground, coughing up blood.

Sugou grab his mouth and pulled back his hand, seeing his bloodied hand.

"I'm not finished yet." Izayoi said as he grab Sugou by the back of his collar and dragged him to the white car, which was a few parking lots beside his own car. When he arrived at the white car, he instantly smack Sugou's head to the white car. "You... You molested her! Like a rapist you are!" Izayoi said as he smack Sugou's head into the side of the car a few times, before he stopped and look at the bent door.

"Do you know I killed a person with a gun before?" Izayoi asked as Sugou's eyes widen. "I did it out of mercy." Izayoi added as he let go of Sugou and grab the knife that was a few distance away. After he grabbed the knife, he return to his place behind Sugou and put the knife on his neck.

"Do you think I killed you out of mercy?" Izayoi asked as he pressed the knife on Sugou's neck, which caused a thin line of blood to appear on his neck, and immediately Sugou yelled.

"Ahhh!" Sugou yelled as Izayoi let go of him and he threw the knife down onto the ground, which caused it to stab into the ground below him.

"I'm not going to prison from killing a pathetic person like you. You're not worth the kill." Izayoi explained as he grab Sugou's head and smack him into the white car, hard. "Hope you don't have a single sweet dream, Sugou." Izayoi said as he walked away from the unconscious Sugou, who was lying on the ground.

"Papa?" Yui called out as she came out from the corner of Izayoi's car, and she immediately rushed towards him and hugs him.

"Are you okay, Papa?" Yui asked as she look up Izayoi, who held a smile.

"I'm okay. That bad person is unconscious. We should go to Mama now. Let's go." Izayoi said as he grabbed Yui's right hand and led her inside the hospital. When he enter the hospital, he found that the hospital was empty, seeing as there were no nurses or people in the hall. He then lead Yui into the elevator and the elevator's door closes.

After a while, the elevator opens up and Izayoi step outside, followed by Yui, who look at the dark and empty hall. He then walked towards Asuna's room, with Yui following closely behind him.

"Where's Mama, Papa?" Yui asked looking up at Izayoi with her curious big black eyes.

"Mama's right here." Izayoi said as he stop right in front of Asuna's room.

"Mama's in here?" Yui asked as she look up at the door in front of her.

"Are you ready, Yui?" Izayoi asked looking down at Yui, who stars at the door.

"Yes. I'm ready, Papa." Yui answered with a nod, putting on a brave face as Izayoi smiled and slide the card he used before and the door automatically opens. Izayoi step through the door, followed by Yui. When Izayoi stepped inside the room, the curtains blocked his view from finally seeing Asuna.

Izayoi then bends down on his knee and he look at Yui, who look at him. "Yui, can you stay here for a while? I don't want Asuna to have a heart attack if she sees you. Her cute and beautiful daughter." Izayoi whispered with a smile as Yui look at the curtains and ten at her father.

"Okay, Papa." Yui whispered with a small smile as Izayoi peck her forehead before he pulled back and smiled at her.

"Wait here, okay?" Izayoi asked in a whisper as he stood up while Yui nodded her head. Izayoi then walked a few steps and stand in front of the curtains. He extend his hand to grab the curtains and slowly, he pulled the curtains to the side. After he pulled the curtains, his eyes widen and a smile spreads across his face, seeing Asuna waiting by looking up at the moon's light that was shining down from her windows. At the same time, the shining light shined down at Asuna, immediately lighting up her features while she sits on the bed, waiting.

"Asuna..." Izayoi called out as Asuna turns her head to look at him.

"Izayoi-kun." Asuna said with a smile, happy seeing Izayoi standing in front of her. Izayoi walked towards Asuna, who extend her hand to grasp Izayoi's cheek. "I miss you." Asuna said as Izayoi hug her with both of his hand wrapped around her, while Asuna smiled and wrap her hands around his neck.

Izayoi pulled back from the hug as Asuna look down at his knuckles, seeing them a little red.

"Don't worry, the true final battle was over. He deserved that. But... He didn't deserve enough yet from what he did to you." Izayoi said as a small frown appeared on his lips.

"I'm sorry. I still can't hear properly. But I can tell what you're saying." Asuna said as tears came out of her eyes and she smiled at him. "Don't worry, Izayoi-kun. He will get it soon enough. Anyway, It's over, isn't it?" Asuna asked.

"Yeah..." Izayoi answered with a smile.

"You know, I... I missed you so much." Asuna said as Izayoi look at him. "Hello. My name is Yuuki Asuna. I'm back, Izayoi-kun." Asuna said tilting her head slightly to the side as she smiles at him.

"The name's Sakamaki Izayoi. Welcome back, Asuna." Izayoi said with a smile. After a while, Izayoi leaned his head at Asuna, who also leaned her head towards him as the two then shared a passionate kiss. Izayoi then grab Asuna's right hand and intertwined their fingers together.

Izayoi looked behind Asuna, seeing their SAO avatars standing outside of the window. "Take care of her." SAO avatar Izayoi said with a smirk pointing his Sword of Light to Izayoi. He then sheath his sword inside his sheath as he and Asuna look at him with a smile on each of their faces. SAO avatar Asuna then turns around, followed by Izayoi as they hold hands and they walked away together, disappearing into snowy night sky,

Izayoi smiled at his and Asuna's SAO avatars, "I'll take care of her. Do you know who you're talking to?" Izayoi thought challenging his SAO avatar.

Izayoi pulled back from the kiss, as he look at Asuna with a smile. "Asuna," Izayoi called out as Asuna look at him. "There's someone waiting for you." Izayoi said as Asuna raised her eyebrow in confusion.

"Who is it, Izayoi-kun?" Asuna asked as Izayoi look at the direction of the door.

"You can come out now, Yui." Izayoi said as Asuna look at him in confusion.

"Yui?" Asuna asked in thought as she look at the direction of the door and then her eyes widen when a small girl came out from the curtains and stand in front of her, a very familiar girl.

"Mama." Yui called out with a smile as tears fell down from Asuna's cheeks and onto the sheets.

"Yui-chan?" Asuna called out as Yui walked towards her and Izayoi picked her up to sit in front of Asuna.

"Yes, it's me, Mama." Yui stated smiling at her as Asuna immediately wrapped her hands around Yui, who wrapped her hands around her mother.

"B-But how?" Asuna asked hugging on Yui tightly, wanting to feel if it was real, if Yui, her daughter in SAO and ALO was real. After hugging her for a while, new tears begin to come out of Asuna's eyes, as she couldn't believe that Yui is right in front of her, her daughter is hugging her in the real world! She could hardly believe it herself! She thought about the possible theories on how Yui is in the real world. But sadly, she couldn't find any of them in her mind.

"Let's say it was a coincidence." Izayoi answered as Asuna pulled back from the hug and look at him. "It's a long story. You can listen to it later. You should think on how to spend our time with Yui here from now on." Izayoi said with a smile as Asuna smile in return.

"Mama." Yui called out as Asuna look at her.

"What is it, Yui-chan?" Asuna asked.

"Do you miss me?" Yui asked as Asuna smiled at him.

"Why do you ask that kind of question? I miss you so much, Yui-chan." Asuna said as she hug Yui again. "How can't I miss you? You're my daughter. How could I ever forget about you?" Asuna said smiling while she hugged her daughter tightly in her arms.

"Mama..." Yui said with a wide smile as she closed her eyes and rest her head on Asuna's chest, feeling warm inside from being close to her mother.

"Yui-chan..." Asuna exclaimed looking down at her daughter as she then rest her head on hers and closed her eyes, relishing once again the moment between her and her daughter.

Meanwhile, Izayoi watched the two of them, mother and daughter, with a smile. He then look down at the small box in his hand as he clutched it tightly. He then look at Asuna and Yui, and he loosen his grip on the box, deciding to do it later as he doesn't want to ruin a mother and daughter's reunion.

"Mama," Yui called out pulling out from the hug as Asuna look at her, wiping her tears away before she turn her full attention at her. "I think Papa has something to tell you. Yui stated as Asuna look at Izayoi, who grip the small box in his hand tightly. "Right, Papa?" Yui asked as she look at Izayoi. Before she and her fathe rwould depart for the hospital, she saw that he held a small box in his hand before he pocketed it in his pocket and then they immediately stepped inside the car. Since then, she knew that her father had something to tell her mother about.

"Yeah. I've been waiting to ask this a long time." Izayoi said as Yui climb down from the bed as Izayoi adjusted to sit in front of the curious Asuna.

Izayoi breath a deep breath before he look at Asuna, who look at him. "Asuna." He called out as Asuna nodded.

"Yes? What is it, Izayoi-kun?" Asuna asked in curiosity.

"I've known you for three years now. Ever since I saw you for the first time, you were really beautiful. The most beautiful girl I've met. And those great times we've spent on dates was the best time of my life. After that, I was trapped in SAO. I knew that I wouldn't be able to see you unless I finish the game. But imagine that I entered a dungeon and met a certain hooded girl?" Izayoi explained as Asuna stifle a laugh. "She was well-equipped to spend days inside that dungeon, without going back to the town to rest comfortable for real. And do you know how I felt when I spoke to her?" Izayoi asked as Asuna look curiously at him.

"How did you feel?" Asuna asked as Yui looked between the two with a confused look but she still kept her attention on them, trying to listen intensively to the story.

"I felt the need to help her and strangely be with her. After I told her how many minutes to the exit from there, she replied that she doesn't want to return. And then, she told me that everyone would die in the end. No one can clear the 100th floors. And so, I grabbed her hand and told her that I would clear the game to be with the person that was in the real world again. The girl looked taken aback by my words and I ask her that did she have someone precious to her?" Izayoi asked as Asuna recalled the time when she first met Izayoi in SAO. She knew that time that she was stupid to believe that no one was going to clear the game. But looking back, without Izayoi being in the game, she would die in that dungeon and she would never meet him again forever, and the game would never be finished. So, thinking back, she had no options than to believe that no one would be able to finished the game.

"The girl said that she wanted to get out of that game. And she wanted to meet Izayoi-kun again. She said that he was always with her the entire time when she was sad or angry. And he would always cheer her up when she was having a hard day. And then she said that they always went shopping and the girl asked on why Izayoi-kun never let go of his hand off of her, even for a second. Izayoi-kun said that-" Asuna was cut off by Izayoi.

"I could always watch you and I know that you are safe." Izayoi finishes as Asuna smile at him.

"The girl then couldn't believe her eyes as the man she was with was her Izayoi-kun. The girl then hugged him and said I miss you to him, to which Izayoi replied I miss you too in return." Asuna said as Izayoi decided to finish the story.

"After that, the girl who was Asuna asked Izayoi on what they were going to do now? Izayoi then replied by saying they should head back to town. And the two of them exited the dungeon, with the one that each of them love." Izayoi finished as he lift his right hand in front of him, revealing the small box in his hand, which caused Asuna's eyes to widen at the familiar box.

"Before I got out of SAO, I thought I should propose to the woman I love. But then, I found out that she was trapped in another game. So, after rescuing her, I find the woman I love waiting for me. Anyway, I thought if we got married in a game, why don't we marry for real this time? And so, I'll ask this," Izayoi said as he put his other hand on top of the box and open it, revealing the diamond ring within the box.

"Yuuki Asuna, will you marry me?" Izayoi proposed as Asuna's hands covered her mouth in shock and tears started to cascade over her eyes by the sight of the diamond ring. Meanwhile, Yui stared at the ring with wide eyes, looking at the shiny diamond before she look at Asuna, wanting to hear her answer.

Asuna look at Izayoi and a wide smile spread across her face, "Yes! I will marry you, Izayoi-kun!" Asuna answered as she instantly hugged Izayoi, who held a smile on his face.

"This is the best moment of my life! Thank you, Izayoi-kun!" Asuna said as tears stream down her cheeks and into Izayoi's jacket.

"You're welcome." Izayoi said with a smile, hugging her back with one arm while the other held the ring box from falling.

"Yeah, Mama is going to marry Papa!" Yui cheered with her hands up in the air, as Asuna pulled back from the hug and looked at Yui, followed by Izayoi.

"Yes, Yui-chan. After this, we're going to be a family again. But this time, in the real world. Do you like that?" Asuna asked wiping her tears.

"Like it? I love it!" Yui answered with a wide smile. "Mama," Yui called out as Asuna look at her.

"Yes?" Asuna asked.

"Wear the pretty ring!" Yui exclaimed pointing her finger at the ring in the small box. When she pointed her finger at the box, Asuna look back at the box and then at Izayoi. Asuna extend her right hand in front of Izayoi, "We should fulfill our daughter's request, right?" Asuna questioned with a smile as Izayoi pulled out the ring and grab her hand in his left hand.

"We should." Izayoi answered with a smile, as he put the ring around Asuna's index finger.

"It fits me perfectly." Asuna exclaimed as she look down at the ring with a wide smile, but something caught her eye as she lift her ring in front of her.

My Wife, Asuna

"Izayoi-kun, where did you...?" Asuna asked as she trace the words with her left finger. When she traced the words, a small happy smile spreads across her face, touched by what Izayoi did to her ring.

"It's easy. It doesn't cost anything. You said that you don't want anything fancy. So, I thought I would make it special somehow." Izayoi explained. "Because you're special to me." Izayoi added as Asuna look at him and smiled a happy smile.

Asuna grasp Izayoi's cheek as she leaned her head, capturing Izayoi's lips with hers as they shared a sweet kiss. Meanwhile, Yui smiled at her parents, happy that that they were happy.

After a while, Asuna pulled back from the kiss as she look down at Yui, "Come here, Yui-chan." Asuna said with a smile as Yui nodded and climb onto the bed. When she climb onto the bed, she sit in front of Asuna.

"We're a family again, Yui-chan!" Asuna said smiling at her daughter as she hugged her, to which Yui hugged back with a smile. Then, two pair of arms wrapped around the two as Asuna and Yui looked at Izayoi, who smiled at them as he hugged both of his wife and daughter.

"I love you, Mama, Papa." Yui said closing her eyes, hugging her mother tightly.

"We love you too, Yui-chan." Asuna said with closed eyes as she rest her head on Izayoi's chest, feeling sleepy all of a sudden.

"We'll always will, Yui." Izayoi added, hugging his sleepy wife and daughter as Yui smiled under the warmth that she felt from both of her parents, to which made her feel sleepy. But she doesn't care as long as she could be with her father and mother, which are Izayoi and Asuna.

"Good night, Mama, Papa."

That's the ending. It's a pretty good ending, right? Because they've finally reunited in the real world! At first, I was so thrilled to write this part of the story. And to me, it came out well. But I don't know if it came out well for you all. But I hope it does, because this is the longest chapter I have ever written for Alfheim Online: The Shinigami. So, I appreciate it if you Review about this chapter because I want to know what you're thinking about the chapter and how it goes in your mind. But I hope you're thinking of something good than bad. Also, review about Izayoi's proposal. Is it good? Or is it waaay different than it should be? Or you can review on how good the proposal, because Asuna said YES! So, I'll be waiting, alright?
