Note: I don't understand why reviewers feel Emmett does not love Bella. Emmett will love her until the end of time. But he is not suave and does not find it easy to show his feelings. The way he treats her, talks to her, and touches her shows that the love is strong. He is childish and a boy at heart. That's just Emmett. I just wanted to make that clear. Please review. I love to read them. Oh yes, and time Alice's Vision... LOL
Emmett had waited until Bella was sleeping. He lay there watching her for a long time. Outside the hotel room he could hear the night cleaners working. He got up and took a hot showed, dressed and then moved to look out the window of the room. It was dark out but Emmett could see the lights on lining the pathways. There was a security guard doing his rounds. Emmett took a deep breath and then decided to take the time to speak with Carlisle. Glancing back at Bella in the bed, Emmett left the room letting the door closed softly behind him. Twenty minutes later found Emmett and Carlisle sitting outside in poolside chairs my the mighty ducks pool. It was quieter here as the outdoor bar was by the other pool. The only interruption they got here was the security guard who glanced their way each time he passed by. Carlisle leaned back in the seat with his legs crossed in front of him. Emmett had one leg on each side of the floor. He leaned forward and rested on his elbows on his thighs.
The pools were closed now so they were alone. Both men were silent right now. Emmett was trying to think of how to explain how he felt. He was not used to this. Emmett knew how he felt inside but when it came to telling someone else, it was so difficult. Emmett was all about fun. Joking, teasing, and playing around. Not being in love and having such a heavy decision on his mind. He sighed deeply and looked as the still water of the pool in front of him. "She wants to be like us, Carlisle." He finally told the blond. Emmett knew better than to actually say the word Vampire. "She is afraid of being old without me. " He looked at Carlisle now. "I'm not going to leave her. Not now and not when she's wrinkled and grey. But I understand why she's concerned, She's going to die and I'm going to loose her. But I don't think I can do that. Not that I don't want to. I love her. I want her in my life forever. To have her beside me forever... I just don't think I have the strength to stop." A man like Emmett claiming he did not have the strength for something was ludicrous but he no faith in himself for this.
Carlisle understood of course and nodded. "Its a big step." The doctor said after a long moment. "She wants to give up everything for you. She wants to give her life for you." He looked at Emmett silently for a long moment. "Turning Bella... it takes more than love. It takes commitment as well. Can you see yourself with Bella for the rest of your life? Of course it is possible that the two of you could break up, she could leave, you could... you haven't been together that long." Emmett was listening intently. This was why he had come to Carlisle. The man always looked at the bigger picture. "Emmett," Carlisle said after a long moment. "I think both you and Bella should wait a bit. Until she's out of High school at least. It will give you some time to decide it this is really what the both of you want. If you still want to spend the rest of eternity with her. If she still wants the same... I'll help you." This was not a half hearted offer. Carlisle knew more than anyone what Emmett had on his plate. The immortal teen slowly nodded. The two males sat together for another half hour before returning to their rooms.
Breakfast at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway pavilion in Epcot. Her children were grown of course but still, Esme wanted to see the princesses. They arrived at the park early and got through bag check quickly. Esme led her family and Bella through the park and to the world showcase. It was eerie how empty the park was but nothing was open yet. Emmett had been waiting for Bella when she woke and they had gone over Carlisle's suggestions. Bella was not happy about it but she tried to understand. She had no doubt that she was still going to want the same thing once she graduated from high school but nothing she could do would make Emmett move any faster. Bella tried to tell herself that she knew Emmett loved her. He just wanted her to be smart about this. Both knew that this conversation was not over but Carlisle was right. The group walked towards Norway. Jasper was feeling more comfortable with the empty park. There was still the scent of humans but he could handle this. He walked with Alice with her arm around his waist. Rose and Edward brought up the rear. Carlisle walked with his eyes on a park map and Emmett and Bella were behind Esme.
The Castle came into view soon enough. The Cullen's waited while Esme stepped into the reservation line to tell them they had arrived. She returned to her family after a few moments with a smile. It was another cloudy day and it was not too hot. "Now Presenting the Cullen Family." The reservation employee called and Carlisle chuckled. "That's cute." Belle moved with the Cullen's and they entered the castle. Inside the door, they were directed to line up and minutes later, rounder the corner to be greeted by none other than Belle. Esme let out a giggle as the princess beckoned them over. Most people were memorized by the princess but in this case, Belle was more memorized by the Cullen's. It was not every day the costumed woman met such stunning people. The Cullen's and Bella moved in around the Princess to pose for a picture. Bella stood beside Belle the others behind the princess so that she would not touch them and find how cold they were to the touch. They left her with a smile that Belle would wear for the rest of the day.
The castle was beautiful. All stone and wood. Dozens of wooden table set up through the rooms and crests hanging from the high ceilings. They passed by a buffet style area with fruit and pastries as they were led to two square tables pushed together. Carlisle was surprised by the food when it was brought out. A simple meal of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries. Not what he expected for the price of being in here but it hadn't burnt a hole in his pocket and they were enjoying the atmosphere. Bella ate as much as she could knowing they had a lot of walking ahead of her today. The others ate a small piece of this and that to fit in but that was all. Photos with Belle were brought to the table. Two packages. Bella got one of her own. It came with a 8x10 and a number of 4x6's. The Princess came out soon after. The Cullen men were a hit. The Princess spent more time at the Cullen's tables than any other tables. They learned pretty quickly not to focus too much on Jasper as he looked like he was going to be physically ill every time one of them touched him. The others were fine with it however and even Jasper could be persuaded to pose for group pictures if only for a few minutes.
They moved through the rides together. They did not go on all the rides. Some of them seemed too boring or childish. They did go on quite a few however. Epoct was not really popular for its rides although the park did have a few good ones. Most people came for the World Showcase. This was the park where many adults came to get drunk off of the foreign alcohol and buy trinkets from around the world. They had already decided that because everyone didn't want to go to each country, The Cullen's would split up to see the showcase and then meet up around dinner time. They were going to have dinner back at the hotel and relax. They were going home the day after tomorrow so this was a day to spend at a leisurely pace. They moved along taking rides as they came. Test Track and Soarin' were the most popular for the Cullen's.
They loved the sensation of hang gliding in Soarin'. It was so realistic with the breeze as they flew over California and the scents and sights. They took the ride twice. With the Fast Passes they had very little wait times. Bella was talked into Test Track The only reason she rode this was because the other assured her that it was not like a roller coaster and the wait time for the single line for the ride was only five minutes. It actually turned out to be better than Bella expected. The turns were fast and she did get tossed around a bit but other than that, she actually found that she was having fun. By the time she got off the ride, she wanted to go again as did the others but the single ride time had moved up to half and hour and no one really wanted to wait that long. True the wait time for the regular line was well over an hour but they wanted to move on.
The next stop was Innoventions. They moved through at a slow pace. They took in all the exhibits and Spent over an hour at the free video games. Emmett could not be pulled away. He had to see how far he could get on each and every game. Bella started off watching her boyfriend and even trying a few herself. She got tired quickly and ended up relaxing in one of the large sitting area. When they finally moved on, Bella got a kick out of trying the different types of pop from around the world. It was after the group left The Seas with Nemo and Friends when The Cullen's split up. Within minutes, they had gone their own ways.
That night, everyone was happy for the time relax at the hotel. They headed for the larger of the two pools. Emmett wanting more video game time headed for the arcade leaving Bella with a kiss. The Arcade manager was happy to give Emmett an obscene amount of tokens at the counter and then he set off through the variety of games. He had been playing for some time and tallying up many points when he felt the eyes on him. Slowly he looked away from the flashing lights and bright screen of the video game and glance over his shoulder. In the next aisle, there she was. He had spotted her quickly. He casually moved away from the game now and towards the girl. He moved through the aisle and then when he stepped up beside her, Emmett spoke without looking at the girl. "Why are you following my family and me?" He asked. "Why are you trying to cause trouble between my girlfriend and me?" His voice was not loud. Just loud enough so that she could hear him. The girl looked up at Emmett with a smile. "Come on Emmett." She cooed. "I'm much better than her. I'm prettier and nicer." Emmett looked at her now in disbelief. He could not believe that someone could be so full of herself. Even Rosalie wasn't this bad. "Do you really think that you could make me leave my girlfriend?" He asked her. "Maybe not." She replied. "But when she sees what I did in your room, she'll leave you in a heartbeat."
Emmett hurried to the hotel room trying to look calm but really stressing inside. He had no idea what he was going to find. It would have been fine... he could have cleaned it up... if Bella hadn't gotten there first. She had headed back to the room for another towel. Emmett burst into the room and nearly ran into Bella who had frozen just inside the door. She turned towards him slowly, the pain clear on her face. "Bella.." Emmett began. His eyes took in the room. She hit him then. The first time she had ever hit him. It did not physically hurt him but mentally... mentally the pain was much worse. Bella pushed by him and back outside. He didn't even try to stop her. Emmett remained where he was in shock. His chest rose and fell with his emotions. The hurt and then the rising, unstoppable anger.
It was clear someone had had sex in the room. The air was thick with it. A seemingly used condom was on the bed on the sheet with the covers yanked back. Beer bottles were on the bedside table. The smell of perfume faint. A note on a pillow. 'Thanks for the fun time, Emmett.' He saw red. He considered going after Bella but no, Emmett had something else he had to take care of first. He found her still in the arcade. Emmett walked up behind her and took the girls wrist in her hand tightly. It did not seem like a threatening gesture but it most certainly was. "Come with me." He told her with a forced gentle tone. The look in his eyes forced her into silence as he walked with her through the front of the hotel and into the woods across the street. Into the woods he led her and when he finally removed his grip from the girl, he pushed her ahead of him. She had no chance of getting away. Even if she screamed, with all the noise of traffic on the street and the people in the pools and the grounds and inside the hotel, no one would hear her. Emmett had no way of knowing but Alice had seen all of this play out already in her vision. She supposed she could have told someone but why? The human girl was a waste of flesh. Conceded and arrogant and pushy. Willing to hurt people to get what she wanted. Willing to lie and break hearts. Alice had known that her vision was not what had to be what could be if the events were placed in motion. She had not had a second vision so had no idea what was happening. Now here it was.
The human turned around as she stumbled. She had not expected him to be so angry. Maybe she was sick mentally. She would have had no way of knowing this. Yet, that would explain why she had expected him to want to be with her after what she had just done in his room. Emmett was livid. "What the Fuck is wrong with you?" He growled now. She looked up at him the first sign of fear entering her eyes. "I just knew you would be better off without her." She whispered. Emmett began his advance on her and she took a few steps back. "I don't want you." He growled. "I don't know you. I have a girlfriend I love very much and you have gone out of your fucking way to hurt her!" She tried to move to slip around her and Emmett grabbed hold of the girl forcefully and threw her to the ground. She cried out at the impact. He didn't care anymore. Emmett was angrier than he had been in a very long time. He was going to kill her. He knew that now. Emmett held no remorse. No one had to know. He could hide it from Edward. It wouldn't be the first time. "I'm going to leave." The girl cried up at him now. "I'm sorry..." Emmett chuckled. "You're sorry? Did you fuck someone in my bed? Did you actually go that far?"
She shook her head but Emmett didn't believe her. He snarled and then he was on her. Emmett pinned her to the ground with his weight. One hand moved to her throat and he squeezed slightly. She did not have the chance to scream for help before his hand began to cut off her air supply. The girl struggled under him. "We're you thinking about fucking me when you were with him?" He asked her now. His face lowered and his hand shifted turning her head to the side. Nose to her throat, Emmett inhaled. The girl was crying and her fear was sweet. Baring his teeth, Emmett bit her. His fangs sunk into her flesh like a hot knife into butter. Now she screamed. A weak and gurgled sound. It was over in minutes. Not a drop was wasted. When he finally got up licking his lips, Emmett glanced around. He had not been spotted. He lifted the girl effortlessly and hid her body high in an old tree where she was hidden by leaves. Checking himself over, Emmett returned to the hotel alone and began to look for Bella. What he had done was wrong and now he was feeling the remorse but it had been necessary. He would not loose Bella to anyone. He straightened his clothes as he reentered the hotel and walked through the building towards the pool.
