The Ice Maiden vs the Master of Fear!
Renji and Rukia were falling though the sky to the Seireitei. "Renji!" said Rukia. "What?" asked Renji. "We should decide what to do after we land," said Rukia.
"Didn't we already?" asked Renji. "We'll move separately and after defeating a few enemies along the way we'll meet up somewhere and get into the castle right?"
"No, that," said Rukia. "Apart from the fact that your explanation is absolutely chaotic. I don't mean that. When we land we'll be in the midst of the enemy army. If they surround us, as much as we've trained it'll still be a tough fight for us. However, you'll definitely fight like a show off as usual."
"That's not..." started Renji, but Rukia interrupted, "I don't care. I'm used to it already." "O-Ok," said Renji.
"Remember after every fight, you must hide for a while," said Rukia. "Never let the enemy make the first move. Do you understand Renji?"
Then Renji started to wake up of the dream/memory he had. He was leaning about a pillar and how the sun rising. "Oh, it's morning," he said. "Ok, I think I've been hiding long eough." Renji stood and stretched out. "Guess I'll go look for another Stern Ritter." Renji stuck his head out the widow and looked around before taking off.
However, behind the pillar the Renji was leading against someone said, "What a jerk. He really fell asleep." It was Stern Ritter U, NaNaNa Najahkoop. "I came here curious as to what kind of guy beat Mask de Masculine and here's an idiot dead asleep. I kept watching him thinking it was a trap, but he actually slept until morning. Who'd think someone would just sleep in the middle of the enemies army? But your luck has run out. I've never observed an enemy for such a long time. Its over for you, Red Monkey!"
Meanwhile, moving though the Vandenreich, was Rukia. "I really can't feel the reiatsu of anyone for our squads. I our Soul Reaper forces really os inferior? Well, that to the reiatsu being so rare I was able to find Lieutenant Kotetsu."
Elsewhere in a basement of a building, Isane was working hard on healing both Kensei and Rose.
Back with Rukia, "However, I can't sense the reiatsu of anyone form the Quincy army either. If this is the case, it might be a good idea to wait for Renji to come and attack the enemy's base together."
Suddenly out of no way, a wet creepy hand slow grabbed on to Rukia's arm. Rukai pull away and saw nothing there. "What was... that feeling? Reiastu?" asked Rukia. "What are you? Where are you?"
Then a creepy voice said, "Aha! Are you scared? I feel lonely!" Then appearing behind Rukia a bit away way was Stern Ritter F 'the Fear', Äs Nödt .
Rukia was shocked and asked. "Who are... you?" "Lonely. Lonely. Lonely. I'm Lonely," said Äs Nödt creepy. "Where is my Senbonzakura?"
Rukia was shocked at first, but calm down and said, "I see. You're the one who stole my brother's Bankai Äs Nödt!"
Äs Nödt grabbed his cloak and took it off. "I know who you are. You're Byakuya Kuchiki's young sister Rukia Kuchiki. Where is Byakuya Kuchiki?"
"I have on reason to answer you," said Rukia. "Will He Come Here If I Kill You?" asked Äs Nödt. Rukia look surprise for a moment and then smirked saying, "He Might!" Äs Nödt did his very creepy eyes smile and summon his Reishi Thorns around himself.
However a voice said, "I hope you don't mind allowing me to watch." Rukia and Äs Nödt looked to see off to the side to watch the fight was Skullak's second wife, Nivie Tuma, the Ice.
"Who are you and why are you here Arrancar?" asked Äs Nödt. "I'm Nivie and that all you need to know,' she said. "I here to watch this ice wielders fight. I'm very curious and interesting to see what she could do."
Äs Nödt didn't care and launched on of his throne at Nivie, but she just stopped it with her bare hand without getting piece by it. Then the throne started to freeze up until it was frozen and shattered as Nivie dropped it.
Äs Nödt looked at Nivie on why she was not freaking out and scared. Nivie just stood their completely emotionless and wasn't effect by Äs Nödt's power at all. Äs Nödt didn't seem to care to much and turn this attention back to Rukia.
Meanwhile a distant away to watch this fight was Skullak, Cirucci, and the Stern Ritter that join there side and now they are called the Estrella Caballeros (Star Knights). Berenice, Bambietta, and Cang Du looked good. Berenice was sitting, Bambietta had her hand on her hips and really hope Äs Nödt get killed, since she never like the creep, and Cang Du was calm and had his hand behind his back. BG9 had all his damages on his body heal and calm watch and going to collect data from the battle. Mask was healed too, but his little buddy James was revived too and sat on Mask's shoulder, while Mask had his arm cross.
Back with the fight, Äs Nödt fired his thrones, but Rukia dodge them. However, when the thrones hit the builds, Rukia saw a black substance. "Something is spreading from the spots touched be the light thorns," thought Rukia. "Is that his power of fear?"
Then one throne come out Rukia and she said, "Sode no Shirayuki!" Releasing her shikai and created a wall of ice to stop the throne. Äs Nödt laughed as the black substance when through the ice. "It's useless," said Äs Nödt. "You cannot black fear with ice."
The black substance touch Rukia and she froze in place and dropped her sword. Äs Nödt started to laugh creepy and did a 90 degree turn with the upper half of his body. "You can't move? It can't be helped. That's Fear! Fear just works like that."
"So this is fear?" asked Rukia. "Yes," said Äs Nödt. "Then what is your fear?" asked Rukia.
"What?" asked Äs Nödt. "Are you maybe scared of that your fear might not work on someone," said Rukia.
"Fear doesn't work?" asked Äs Nödt. "That not possible!" "If you really think that's not possible then try piercing me again with those thorns," said Rukia. She grabbed her sword and held it out saying, "Look and Fear. This is the real power of Sode no Shirayuki."
Äs Nödt just narrow his eyes. Then a thorn when at Rukia and she held her left hand up and stop it, but three other hit her too.
"Try piercing me again with those thorns?" said Äs Nödt stand back up straight. "Its fun that you can say that when you were running from then until a moment ago."
Then thorns started to freeze on and in Rukia's grip, while Äs Nödt looked at this with a lazy look. The thorns completely frozen and shatter on the roof top as Äs Nödt looked at them.
"You're right," said Rukia. "Although it's true that I become able to use Sode no Shirayuki's real power my body still need time to get accustomed to it. Until then I couldn't afford to be hit be your attacks."
"Do you think freezing it is enough? I told you that fear can't be stopped with ice," said Äs Nödt. "My fear doesn't enter you from an open wound. If it even just touched your skin, it will melt and permeate it. It can't possibly be stopped. All people have things that make them feel safe and things that they fear. When someone enters a place that makes them feel safe and is asked about the reason they always reply that they don't really know. "Yeah That's why fear does not work on me," said Rukia held out her hand showing it was not bleeding and the blood was not dripping on it. "Don't you understand? I am saying the currently, I am not alive." Äs Nödt right eye twitched and was confused more. "What do you mean?"
"Sode no Shirayuki actually doesn't emit frost from its point. It's a Zanpakuto that brings the body of its owner to a temperature below zero," said Rukia. Her goggles froze and broke in half and fell on the roof. Äs Nödt was surprised.
"Anything it touches freezes," said Rukia jumping of the roof. "The sword's body is just an arm to icrease the freezing range."
"Stop saying nonsense," said Äs Nödt. If you freeze your body below zero molecules will stop moving and you won't be able to live. There is no way your can stay alive." Äs Nödt jumped down too, to got after Rukia. Nivie moved forward and sat on the edge of the roof to watch.
"In fact currently I am Dead. I learned to momentarily kill my body be controlling my own reishi," said Rukia. "All the molecules inside this body are currently stopped. Even the fear that permeated my body is blacked on the surface."
"That's not... possible," said Äs Nödt. Then Rukia come past him and slice right throw his left shoulder. "-18 degrees," said Rukia. "Blood freezes and don't flow out of the wound."
Äs Nödt yelled and turned around, but was stop as a earthquake stop him from moving for a moment. "-50 degrees," said Rukia. "The water inside the ground my feet are touching freezes, causing an ice quake."
Äs Nödt had enough and charge in enrage. "-273.15 degrees. Absolute Zero!" said Rukia. "I'm going to be fast. At this temperature, I can only move for four-seconds."
Then Rukia strike and Äs Nödt was completely frozen in place. "Fear. Fear? Is this Fear?"
Above, Nivie watch quite impressed with Rukia's shikai and was about to reach Absolute Zero like she can, but Nivie narrow her eyes she unlike her power, Rukia's powers was like a double edge sward and will have consequences.
Over with Skullak and his group, they watch impressed and some like Berenice, Bambietta, and Mask believe the fight was over and Äs Nödt was dead. However, Skullak, Cang Du, and BG9 narrowed their eyes and optic at this and felt like wasn't over yet.
Back with Rukia, she was rising her temperature, but slowly. "-198 degrees. If I don't do it slowly my body tissue will be damaged. -142 degrees. -116 degrees. -85 degrees. It's a complex power. I have to train more. -67 degrees. -31 degrees. -14 degrees."
Rukia looked to her hand and saw her blood flowing, but her thumb had a cut on it. "Did I go slightly over four-second?"
"Fear." Rukia paused and was surprised as her looked back at Äs Nödt's frozen body. "Fear?" Rukia surprised at want was happening. "Is this Fear?" thought Äs Nödt. "NO! This is not Fear. This is most certainly on not Fear." Then the ice started to shatter and his own mask too.
"My Only Fear is his Majesty's WRATH! Being Scolded by his Majesty and having my very own Existence taken from me." The ice shattered away around his head and half his hair. His mask was completely destroyed.
"Compared to that, this fight, ISN'T SCARY OR PAINFUL AT ALL!" yelled Äs Nödt. Underneath his former mask, it reveal that he has no lips, leaving his teeth and gums exposed.
Äs Nödt then activates his Vollständig by rolling back his left eye, revealing a Vandenreich emblem on the inside of his eyeball. "Tatarforas! (Fear of God)" Äs Nödt gained a halo in the shape of the Vandenreich emblem, a stream of blood pouring from each of his eyes, and a cloak with a line of stitches running down the middle. His wings are barely visible and resemble circles of barbwire attached to his back. The cloak is very tight-fitting, revealing his gaunt torso. His eyes are completely rolled up, and his forearms are covered in a black substance.
"Fear again!" thought Rukia ready to attack Äs Nödt, but he appeared behind Rukia. She swung her sword, but didn't reach and was a several inch at his face. "It won't reach me," said Äs Nödt.
Rukai noticed this, but strike again, but Äs Nödt step back. "It's useless. It won't work," said Äs Nödt. "Your feet are paralyzed."
"What? Do you mean that my is feeling fear?" asked Rukia. "That's not possible. My body is..." "You're looking at me." Interrupted Äs Nödt as Rukia looking at him in shock.
"The cells on your body have indeed stopped below freezing point. However, your nerves are still working," said Äs Nödt. "Tatarforas penetrates within you from your optic nerve!"
Then a dome with a diamond shaped pattern surround the two. Then in each diamond shape had an eye open up. "See, no matter where you look, you'll see my eyes," said Äs Nödt. "Your nerves cannot escape!"
Rukia the close her eye to now look, but Äs Nödt just yelled at her. "Closing your eyes is Useless. Happy memories will stay in you heart, but bad memories will remain in your heart much longer. Like past fears suddenly appearing in the Dark of the Night fear you have experienced once will become stronger when you close you eyes and echo at the back of you mind!"
In Rukia's mind she was having images of close people she knows, but they had pure black and emotionless eyes. Rukia open her eyes to make them go away. "NOW YOUR HEART WILL BE BURNED TO DEATH BY THE FEAR YOU'VE BEEN AVOIDING SO FAR!" yelled Äs Nödt. As Rukia started screaming out in pure fear.
Then suddenly, Äs Nödt's dome of eyes was cut open. Rukia still freaking out, Äs Nödt looked back and said, "You are Byakuya Kuchiki!" Appearing was none other then Byakuya wearing a hat and cloak with his hilt in his hand.
"Bother!" said Rukia seeming to calm down some. "Byakuya Kuchiki, you came finally," said Äs Nödt pleased. "I have been waiting for you. How are the organs I ripped out of you? I pulled out your stomach completely. I guess it was hard not to be able to eat. Did you lose some weight?"
"Right! He actually came to fight me to lure out my brother," though Rukia. "Stop, Brother! Don't Look Min In The Eyes!" Then the eyes were coming and Äs Nödt said, "It's Too Late!"
The eyes blots come at Byakuya, but the pieces by petals that form into several spikes. This surprised Äs Nödt. "Who is the late one?" asked Byakuya.
"I see, did you already cover all the surroundings with your Senbonzakura Kageyoshi?" asked Äs Nödt. "Indeed you have a nice Bankai. I Really Want It!"
"Bankai?" asked Byakuya. "Look closely. If you had used my Bankai even only once you should know that Senbonzakura Kageyoshi is a Bankai that uses the whole sword as a blade. This is just my shikai, Senbonzakura."
"What...Did...You?" asked Äs Nödt confused. "Thanks to you stealing my Bankai I was able to study Senbonzakura again from its very core," said Byakuya. "Bonds are like pointillistic pictures. You can only see their core when you're far away. I had forgotten that. I must thank you, Äs Nödt."
Äs Nödt the completely lost it as the stitching down the front of his body to burst open, exposing an immense face of his own likeness. As his body absorbs the numerous eyes created by his Fear ability, this larger version of himself tears its way out of his body and grows to massive proportions.
"Death Is Too Easy! Death Is Too Easy! Death Is Too Easy! Death Is Too Easy! Death Is Too Easy! Death Is Too Easy! Death Is Too Easy!" yelled Äs Nödt. "Death Is Far Too Easy For Someone Like You! I'll throw you into s sea of pain and fear unable to faint or lose your head. You'll spend the rest of remaining of your days in oblivion wishing that I would have killed you!"
"Rukia," said Byakuya getting his sister attention. "While coming here I felt your reiatsu. You have become strong, Rukia." Rukia looked at her brother completely surprised. Remembering that all the time her brother ignore her in the past, she was so happy the her brother acknowledging her strength and she has a bit of tear in her eyes.
"Fear isn't born from nothing," said Byakuya. "Any little anxiety you feel in your heart can eventually become fear. Are you still scared Rukia?" "NO!" shouted Rukia more determine then before and brave.
Then Äs Nödt's transformation finished and grew huge with his ribcage is exposed, and his lower torso consists of a tentacled mass instead of legs. His face is severely deformed, its skin sagging and his eyeballs melting out of their sockets. The tattered remains of Äs Nödt's upper body hang down from his chin.
"It's the end, Byakuya Kuchiki!" said Äs Nödt. "I see, the end," said Byakuya and turn his back to the Stern Ritter. "Sorry, but I won't be the one to defeat you."
"WHAT?" yelled Äs Nödt as he saw Rukia to fight again. "You got to be kidding me!"
"Look closely, Rukia," said Byakuya. "What you see at him in not fear. If you have no fear in your heart what you see reflected on him is his frightened face."
Äs Nödt charged roaring in, but Rukia closed her eyes for a moment and open them and said, "Bankai, Hakka no Togame! (Censure of the White Haze)" Then the whole area reach the temperature of absolute zero in a bright white light that was actually a mist frozen everything all around.
'I still haven't died,' thought a very sad Äs Nödt in a hospital on live report. Every time he breathed it hurt. 'Why so I have to do such a painful thing to live? Living is so uncomfortable. I was told that when I die I'll go to either Heaven or Hell.' Äs Nödt looked to the side table see the Bible. 'I guess breathing isn't painful in Heaven. I guess your body and head don't hurt there. I hope it's true. I guess Hell is a place more painful than this. It it's true its pretty scary. I don't want to go there. No, I'm scared. I'm scared to go to Hell.'
Then the door open and someone walked in. 'Who?" thought Äs Nödt. "It seems that you're one of he survivors. In that case I shall grant you unimaginable power," said Juha Bach.
"Your Majesty! I'm filled with Fear. Will I died? Will I go to Hell? Forgive me, your Majesty. Please don't get anger. I'm scared. I dread the pain that awaits me. I'm scared of being hurt. I'm scared. Scared, Fear, Scared, Fear, Scare Fear! I am very Afraid. I'm scared." Then Äs Nödt thought end as his frozen body started to brake apart and his shattered remain blew away like duct in the wind.
Meanwhile, Rukia stood in her Bankai's true appears. Before she had her Bankai, but like Renji, Sode no Shirayuki only gave her half of her shikai's and Bankai's power. Though after meeting Ichibei, he told Rukia her Bankai's true name.
Rukia's appearance and clothing changed dramatically. She wears a white, ankle-length kimono with lined patterns. The robe has an attached ornate collar, edges, and shoulder design with long, wide sleeves. There are long, flowing ribbons tied at her back that form numerous large loops. She has a small ice flower formation at the center of her chest, and a half crown of ice which extends around the back of her head. Rukia's hair becomes white, and her blade becomes ice.
Then Rukia's right hand started to brake a bit as she was try to melt. Then Byakuya reappeared and grabbed his sister's hand and said, "Melt slowly Rukia. Slowly!" Rukia completely breathed out and did.
"It is a splendid Bankai," said Byakuya, while Rukia looked to him a but surprised. "However, it's also difficult. The slightest mistake could kill you. It's a dangerous Bankai. Handle it carefully and never be rash."
Byakuya left go of his sister's hand and continue, "Remember that a sword held by someone who is about to die will nenver be able to protect anything." Rukia looked to her brother and his ice on her hair melt and return to black.
Byakuya turn and began to walk away and said, "Let's go, Rukia. Let's protect the Soul Society." Most of the ice the cover Rukia's head melted and said. "Yes, Bother!"
Above watch and wasn't effect by Rukia's Bankai was Nivie. To her the freezing below zero temperature were quite nice and relaxing. She was also very impressed with Rukia's Bankai too, even if it was quite dangerous too. Still her power were far above Rukia's, but Nivie too interested in Rukia and would be a good student to help her out. Nivie stood up and walked away as each step she took frozen anything walk on.
Over with Skullak and his group, he stood and was ready to leave and watch another fight. "I'm surprised," said Bambietta. "That you did try to save Äs Nödt and talk him in join up with us."
Skullak stopped and said, "Why would I? He only want to bring fear to anyone the face him. There wasn't nothing I could have said that would have changed him mind. Beside I sense something big is about to happen. Come I want to see this and maybe finally join in a battle too."
Cirucci and the ex-Stern Ritters looked at Skullak and would try see how power he really is. So the group moved out and wonder who will be in the next fight they would watch them. However, unknown to them, well everyone expect for Skullak, someone was watching them.
From behind a corner of a building watching Skullak and his group was none other then Shaz Domino. He has been keeping an eye out on Skullak after help save Cang Du and BG9. "Skullak Tuma huh," said Shaz. "Got you say your quite different form any enemy his Majesty has faced before. Turn our own Stern Ritters against us to join you. Hmm, I wonder if you can keep it up or not? I look forward to see what you're going to do next."
Vandenreich Encyclopedia
In the Sibern media room, Haschwalth stood again with his pointer. "Good morning all, I'll be talk about more of the Stern Ritter's powers."
The monitor started to show like of two of the Stern Ritter Haschwalth will be talking about.
"First is Stern Ritter S 'the SuperStar' Mask de Masculine. He has incredible brutal strength and become more power for the cheer of a crowd."
The other is Stern Ritter F 'the Fear' Äs Nödt. He has the power of make people experience their great fears until they die. His Vallstanding is called Tatarforas."
Then the clips end and Haschwalth said, "Look like another Stern Ritter has been tricked somehow by that Arrancar King like the other, but at least Äs Nödt's death didn't go in vain and will help his Majesty."
Then Bazz-B came walking it with a cup of coffee. "Ha like any of the five will be missed anyway. Go in insane girl the like to do guys the killing then like a mantas and can't control her emotional at all. Then a guy that almost never talk and it just very annoying to me. A... I don't know what he is a robot or cyborg, but I had it lame this he scream screams about being killed. A brutal that thinks he is the greatest wrestler and wants everyone to cheer of him, but why do we have a Mexican luchador with us if were a German? Anyway last is them most creepy guy the want to make everyone fear everything. Hah none of them deserve to serve his Majesty."
Haschwalth silently looked at Bazz-B and said, "Seem you have something against all the Stern Ritter." Bazz-B shrugged his shoulder and said," Yea most, but you're the only one I really respect Jugo."
Haschwalth nodded and watch Bazz-B leaving. "Anyway got a fight to get back to," said Bazz-B. "Got a Arracnar team to burn up into nothingness."
