Ten years have passed since Tomoe s death and Kenshin still has not forgiven himself for killing Tomoe s death anniversary approaches Kenshin becomes more and more isolated to himself making everyone worry about him. But is Tomoe really dead? What would happen if she came back? Will Kenshin and Kaoru ever have a chance in love?

Broken

"I want to speak with you Tomoe san"Kaoru told her and her eyes were cold as ice.

"i know Kaoru san and i want to talk to you about Kenshin"Tomoe told Kaoru

"Why did you return Tomoe? Are you happy when you see Kenshin suffer? He had managed to forget you and start a new life with me but then

you just had to appear again and destroy our lives"Kaoru said and tears started to run on her face.

"You know why i came back.i came back for him. Kenshin and i are one and no one can seperate us. Many people had tried to tear us apart in the past and they are dead now"Tomoe said and her eyes were full of pain and hatred.

"I have read your diary Tomoe san and i believe that you are have been lying to yourself the whole time. I think that you still want to take revenge form kenshin and that`s why you want to torture him and see him broken"Kaoru said looking very angry.

"You have no right to judge me Kaoru .You don`t know me or what i am capable to do in order to defend my love for Kenshin. He is the love of my life and i will never leave him neither of you or anyone else will manage to prevent me stay with him"Tomoe said and took a threayening step towards Kaoru. But before she managed to approach her she felt something on her face and fell down. It was Kaoru

who had slapped her so hard that she fell on the ground.

"Kenshin is mine and you must never forget it. We are a couple now Tomoe san didn`t you know? Just before you show up Kenshin promised me that he will always be by my side and protect me as i will protect him from all

his enemies and right now you are the most dangerous enemy i have ever seen"Kaoru told Tomoe and her words were full of hatred and pain towards the young woman.

"Destiny is our enemy kaoru san,not me. You and i are victims of the same love of a man who has made us strong and weak at the same .You say that you are ready to sacrifice everything for him ,but do you know the real meaning

of sacrifice dear kaoru? i dont think so Kaoru are a young girl full of dreams and hopes but what you don`t understand is that this world is full of pain and darkness and only the strong can survive. Sacrifice means that you will let everything

you have for the person you love. I have sacrificed everything for him. I betrayed my family, Akira`s memory, i almost got killed and i killed my own brother for him in order to protect him but what did you do for him kaoru?Tell me what you did for him?"Tomoe screamed and started to cry.

"I...I can`t..."Kaoru said and immediately run away and left Tomoe alone in the room. Tomoe`s words were cruel as a knife and they had hit her deep in her was hadn`t done anything for Kenshin as Tomoe had done from should let him go as Tomoe had told her to do but she couldn`t live without him. Suddenly tears appeared in her face and once again she started to cry. Without knowing Kenshin was watching her from afar and he felt guilty that he was the cause for her pain. He didn`t want to see her suffer but he also didn`t know what to do. Stay with Tomoe who was his wife and the love of his life or choose Kaoru who was always by his side and had endured all his pain and suffering for Tomoe all this time?

"Kaoru i am sorry for hurting you. You were always so happy and now you look so broken. I dont know what i must it would be better if i left from the dojo,i to leave once and for all from here.I am here torn into pieces without knowing where destiny will lead me..."""
