A/N: Hey guys, a couple of things before you read the chapter!
-I just turned 17 not too long ago! So yay for me! It's honestly weird because I've been writing this story since I was like 12. Hopefully, I'll finish this before senior year starts or at least before my 18th birthday. I'm six chapters from being done with this story. I think I will be finished with it by then haha.
-There're a couple of plot holes here and there, I know. I honestly didn't read the previous chapters before writing the new chapters which is why some of the chapters are everywhere. I know everything seems rushed, but I see it as a learning experience :) Learning from my writing and critique has helped me grow over the years with the story. So, pleeeeease bear with me! My grammar editor doesn't work that well anymore, and I'm trying my best to correct errors. Please drop helpful critiques in the comments!
-This chapter is over 24 pages and super long. There is suggestive material in this along with the mention of bullying and eating disorders. Just thought I would give y'all a heads up! Enjoy!
The Block Estate
Living Room
January, Saturday 23rd
8:55 A.M.
Massie sat perched on the edge of a light brown settee in the living room. She stared out the window, peeking to see if Skye had arrived yet. But of course, for the fiftieth time she had looked, Skye wasn't here yet. The only thing she saw were the yard workers shaping up the bushes and brown leaves blowing in the wind. Massie sighed. She was supposed to be here over an hour ago! Massie thought about texting her, but felt that made her look needy and desperate.
"Massie?" Kendra Block poked her green avocado-honey clad face into the room. "What are you doing up?" she yawned. "You usually don't wake up until the noon."
Massie hooked an almond-shaped nail around the Horchow curtains and peered out. "I'm going somewhere." She replied, letting the curtain fall. Kendra's eyebrows flew up and a fissure appeared in her mask. "With who?" she went into overprotective mother mode. "Is it the Millers' daughter? Aren't you friends?"
Massie gasped. Did her mom even know about all that drama Sienna had caused in her life? She smoothed her brown MJ suede mini she had paired with a black turtleneck and knee length lace up boots. "No, it's actually Skye Hamilton."
"Oh." Kendra frowned. A piece of her mask fell and shattered on the ground. "Why this early?"
Massie rolled her eyes. Kendra and her questions. "I don't know. Maybe she wanted to take me to breakfast," Masie guessed, even though they were on a mission today and had no time for waffles and bacon.
Kendra leaned against the doorframe. "Oh okay," she nodded. "Speaking of breakfast, Tina is making your favorite! Vanilla cinnamon pancakes with maple syrup!" Another part of her mask fell off when she moved her face muscles to smile.
"I already ate."
"Are you sure?" Kendra wrapped her terry cloth robe tighter to her body.
"Yes." Massie speed-nodded, studiously getting impatient with every passing second.
"Well okay, make sure to take one of your thick coats, it's cold out. Also, put some stockings underneath that skirt before you leave." Kendra said. She turned on her heel, disappeared into the kitchen, and announced to Tina she wanted a veggie detox tea before she headed out for yoga.
Massie was about to go back to her room and change back into her silk pajamas to watch One Tree Hill reruns with Bean when she heard the gravel in the driveway crunch. Skye's old blue Honda appeared and let out a huff as she honked the horn.
"Massie," Jarvis called. "I believe your friend, Skye Hamilton, is here."
She hopped off the settee, grabbed her purse, and threw the door open. The bitter cold nipped at her knees and legs but Massie pretended she couldn't feel it as she slid into Skye's car. "Hey!" Skye chirped, giving her a genuine smile. Massie studied her and felt severely overdressed compared to Skye's faded Harvard sweatshirt, 2007 A&F sweatpants, knock off Uggs, and tied up hair. "Um, hey." Massie cleared her throat. She smoothed her skirt under her and crossed her legs to avoid touching the ketchup-stained leather. "I thought you were supposed to be here at 8." She tried to hide her irritation.
Skye pulled out the driveway and onto the tree-lined road. "Nope! I said nine!" she giggled. Massie suddenly recalled the text she received last night when she was tired off her ass. It did say nine, at least she thought so, and her phone had died then. "Anyway, you probably didn't have breakfast, so I got you something!" Skye reached for the cup holder and pulled out a McDonald's cup of oatmeal. "Here." She handed the hot cup over to Massie who was trying not to barf. "Oh, you didn't have to!" Massie murmured. The last time she had McDonalds was on her alpha breakdown week and even then the crappy Big Mac did nothing to console her feelings. She popped the lid and took a bite of oatmeal. Massie didn't want Skye to think she was a snobby rich girl that preferred quinoa with brown rice over oatmeal when she did.
"We're stopping by Sienna's 9:30 Zumba class!" Skye informed Massie. "We have a busy day ahead. Check out her schedule." She titled her head towards the dashboard where a paper laid. Massie snatched it, eager to see what a glimpse in Sienna's weekend life looked like. She scanned the paper up and down.

"Who even has all the time for that?" Skye asked, taking a bite of the glazed Krispy Kreme donut in her hand.
"Apparently, Sienna." Massie responded. She noticed Sienna's schedule was quite similar to hers. Except… Massie would never take Zumba at the country club! It was full of middle class soccer moms who had somehow snagged their way into the class or old ladies that used Avon. Massie swallowed the lump of anger in her throat. Sienna was stealing everything from her! Her popularity, her exes, her words she made up, and now her schedule! She clearly needed to see someone for her attention seeking behavior. Quietly fuming on the inside, Massie tossed the schedule on the dashboard.
Skye took another bite of her donut, flakes falling onto the stained seat, but she didn't seem to care. "Zumba!" she cheered with her mouth full. "Here we come!"
Massie put her oatmeal aside, suddenly feeling queasy. One look at Skye and her trash-filled car made her want to vomit and take a shower. The former alpha had completely let herself go! But Massie knew how it felt to crumble and have everything taken away. She would just have to swallow her pride and get through this.
Ten minutes later, Skye turned into the Westchester Country Club parking lot. She drove by a group of older women dressed in designer sportswear whom gave Skye's car a piercing glare. Massie sunk into her seat, hoping none of them were her mom's friends. She pretended to look for an earring on the ground when Skye stared at her with a questioning look. "What are you doing?" she asked. Assuming it was safe and no socialites were peering inside, Massie shot up, clutching her diamond Tiffany earring. "Found it!" Massie announced, waving the earring in Skye's face. Skye still had the look on her face, but didn't say anything as she pulled into a parking space.
Thank Gawd! They were on the other side of the building where no one could see them. The trees overhead and the neatly trimmed bushes camouflaged the car perfectly. The fancy mansions and their golf courses were half a mile away, so no one would ever know Massie Block was in the car. "Massie," Skye sighed. "Are you embarrassed to be seen with me in my car?"
Massie pretended she didn't hear her and turned the heater on full blast.
Skye turned towards the window, a flicker of hurt flashing across her face. "Um, anyway, Zumba is starting." She pointed out.
Massie faced forward, suddenly noticing they were sitting in front of a tall clear window. Inside, she could see middle class women (and men!) mingling and indulging in fat-free refreshments before class started or finding a place on the floor for their mat. "Ehmacantheyseeus?!" Massie panicked. Although, the rose bushes in front of Skye's car and the dirty windshield camouflaged them, Massie felt raw and exposed.
"No."
Massie sunk into her seat, calming down slowly, but she was still on high alert.
She watched as the atmosphere tensed and changed when Sienna walked in the room with a bright smile. Her brown hair was piled in a messy bun and her whole entire face glowed like an angel. How anyone could look that good in the morning was beyond Massie.
The women glared at Sienna with envy wishing they could be her and the men stared at her with lust wishing their girlfriends or wives looked like her. Sienna glided to the middle of the room and pretended she wasn't the center of attention. She bent over to unfurl her mat, giving everyone a perfect view of her peach-shaped butt.
Once she had the mat all smooth and rolled out, she writhed around on the floor in weird, contorted poses. She opened her mouth and closed her eyes. Massie didn't have to guess what she was doing thanks in part to all the women's deepening glares and the men's pants slightly bulging out a bit. Massie glowered in anger wanting to smack Sienna so bad.
The instructor, an African-American women with long, auburn hair, bounced inside with a blue mat in her hands. She clapped once, but then twice to get everyone's attention off Sienna. She said a couple of words and led everyone into a series of stretches. Sienna stuck her butt out for most of them, giving the lucky guys behind her something to stare at. Her tight leggings showed off the hideously bright red thong she was wearing.
"She's disgusting!" Massie said. "I can see her thong all the way from here." She spat in not so much of disgust, but jealousy.
Skye took a Krispy Kreme box behind Massie's seat and plucked another glazed donut from the dozen. "You should've saw her outfit last week." She snorted. "Nothing but a sports bra and short shorts."
Massie found that as no surprise coming from Sienna.
Notes of fast-paced music boomed out the walls as everyone moved their bodies in time with the beat. Sienna moved flawlessly with minimal effort. She looked like one of the sexy backup dancers in a Beyoncé video. Massie wished she had that much grace while dancing. The instructor circled around the room watching everyone. She stopped in front of Sienna, eyeing her technique. Instead of messing up, when someone's watching, Sienna kept her whole body on beat. Even her long ponytail swayed to the beat!
The instructor threw her arms up in a fit of happiness. She smiled at Sienna and nodded really fast. Massie could tell she was showering Sienna with compliments. Of course Sienna loved it! She had a smug look on her face.
The instructor clapped and everyone looked around to find partners. Boys tripped over themselves and each other to get to Sienna. At least ten boys were surrounding her. Sienna chose a pale, skinny white guy with blonde hair gelled into spikes. He seemed familiar with her. His body language said 'just-more-than-friends'. "That's Jett Connors. His grandparents own the club…" Skye told Massie. "He's 18. I think he may have a girlfriend but is cheating on her with Sienna."
Just like Cam! The popular soccer sophomore notoriously known for dating his girlfriend Claire Lyons but then cheating on her with Sienna. Apparently Claire had found out last night, leaving angry voicemails about Cam on Massie's phone. Massie could've told her she saw that one coming.
Skye quickly added, "Sienna knows he has a girlfriend but doesn't care. Even if she's in a committed relationship, she'll cheat with another guy."
Maybe Cam was about to get his karma!
Jett slid his hand down to Sienna's butt and pulled her closer to him. Sienna shared a super flirty look with him. She didn't hide anything as she moved her right hand over his boxers. Massie clamped a hand over her mouth and almost vomited her oatmeal. They might as well start doing it right then and there with all the PDA they're exhibiting.
The instructor clapped again and Jett and Sienna split apart like repelling magnets. They faced each other with intense looks while everyone around them scrambled to pick up their belongings and leave.
It was the end of class and Massie was surprised she made it this long watching Sienna mindlessly tease guys.
Jett picked up Sienna's stuff and tucked it under his arm. Sienna swatted him on the arm with a smile creeping on her lips. She stood on her toes to plant a kiss on Jett's lips. (So, she was cheating on Cam!) Jett kissed her back and they started to make out in the room. Everyone was gone but still! Massie couldn't rip her eyes away from them. Sienna quickly broke apart from him and took out her phone. She typed something, closed her phone, and then threw it across the room. She walked back to Jett who picked her up, walked over to a door that led to another room, and carried Sienna inside. The door slammed behind them.
"Ehmawhat?!" Massie screeched, staring at Skye.
Skye didn't even seemed fazed as she took a sip of orange juice. "Hmm, this isn't part of the schedule," she murmured to herself. "But I knew they were going to do it anyway. I guess we wait."
Thirty minutes had passed by when Sienna and Jett stumbled out the closet looking frazzled. Massie picked up her phone to capture potentially blackmailing evidence of Sienna. She snapped a whole bunch of photos of them kissing and touching each other. She would definitely add this to her "Exposing Sienna" album. "Smart idea." Skye praised her and nodded her head in fascination. Sienna wiped something from the corner of her mouth and straightened her clothes. She walked out of the room with Jett holding her bags, looking like a lovesick puppy.
"Interesting…." Massie noted as she went through the pictures she had took.
Skye backed out the parking space and drove to the entrance where Sienna's limo sat next to the curb. She pulled up behind a Jetta to avoid Sienna seeing them. The doors to the lobby pushed open and Sienna stepped outside. Jett was a safe "friendly" distance from her as he escorted her to the limo. Sienna hugged him for just as long as a girl should hug her "guy friend". He opened the door for her and she slid inside.
Jett waved as the limo peeled out the parking lot. He turned on his heel to join a group of guys dressed in polos huddled by the door.
"Now that's done. Time for the mall!"
Skye's Honda lazily idled, and finally after a minute she put the car in drive and slowly followed the limo. "What did you think?" she asked. Massie was still staring at the pictures she took, her eyes studying every detail. Skye repeated her question. "Skank!" Massie hissed between her teeth. Sienna was sleeping with Cam and sleeping with Jett all at the same time. You had to have major stealthy skills to pull that off.
Skye turned on a winding cobblestone street named 'Maple Hill' and weaved in and out between Bentley's and Porsche's. "Ha ha ha…." She laughed and kept her eyes narrowed on the limo three cars away. "Behind my seat, is Sienna's journ—"
Massie dropped her phone in her lap and reached her long arm behind Skye's seat. She plucked the old, coffee-stained pink notebook from the pouch and flipped the book open. The car swerved out the lane as Skye wrestled the notebook out of Massie' hand. "No! Wait! Not yet!" she almost ran into an old lady in a minivan who raised her middle finger. Massie's painted Parka Perfect Essie nails grasped the empty air, trying to get the notebook. "Why?" she whined.
"Because," Skye cut her eyes from the road for a second to glance at Massie. "It heightens the intensity of you not being able to read it." She laughed again, harder this time, sending donut flakes on her mouth flying everywhere.
Massie craned her neck away and avoided the urge to curl her lips up in disgust and make a snide comment. She grabbed the notebook and stared at the cover, wondering what she was going to discover on Sienna today. "Turn to page two-hundred and read it." Skye commanded her. "Oddly enough, Sienna numbered the pages."
Massie didn't waste any time to turn to page two-hundred. The journal entry was scrawled in cursive handwriting with a pink marker. Massie's eyes scanned the page as she glimpsed her name a few times here and there. A small smirk appeared on her cherry red lips and she cleared her throat to read aloud an excerpt of the entry. "'There's this girl named Massie Block that used to go to OCD before she moved to London. I stalked her social medias last night and wow, she's everything I want to be. She's so pretty. I wish I was Massie Block. I want to be Massie Block.'"
Massie skimmed the next few sentences, going deeper into Sienna's infatuation with her. She abruptly closed the notebook with a satisfying smirk not reading anymore after the last sentence "God, why I didn't wake up as Massie Block?" Ahb-viously she was right the whole entire time, Sienna was just a carbon copy of her.
"What do you think about that?" Skye asked. She slowed down to make a turn into the packed parking lot of The Westchester.
Massie ran her hands through her blow-dried and straightened ombre hair. "Ah-mazing!" she happily squealed. She didn't even seem to the mind the fact that Sienna was a crazed person trying to copy her every moves. She loved her fans!
"Bring it with you." Skye said and Massie tucked the journal inside her olive-colored Cambridge satchel. "I'll let you have it for a day."
Ahead of them, the limo slowed to a roll and jerked to a stop next to an angel statue spewing imported Norway Artesian water below into a fountain. The driver hopped out the limo and rushed over to the other side. He wrapped a white gloved hand around the handle and held the door open for Sienna. She stepped outside wearing the limited brown Banana Republic trench coat Massie was still on wait list for. Massie could tell Sienna's outfit was the exact replica of the one she wore last week with similar dark wash jeans, tanned ankle boots with tassels, and oversized black sunglasses.
Massie pushed a spoonful of cold oatmeal into her mouth in order to soothe her nerves.
Sienna was a fraud!
Sienna took a sip from her Starbucks paper cup and walked over to a fountain where a certain boy waited for her. Of course it was no other, than the cheater himself, Cam Fisher. He took his hands out of his coat to greet Sienna with a kiss on the cheek and quickly ushered her inside the mall. Was he worried someone would see him with Sienna and notify Claire? The damage was already done.
"I'm going to find a parking spot in the garage." Skye told Massie. "Follow them. I'll find you."
Massie peeled her thighs away from the seat and opened the door. She gracefully exited the car as if she were Doutzen Kroes jetting off to Milan Fashion Week. She breathed in big gulps of fresh, cold air to replenish her lungs and rid the lingering corn chip mixed with cheap vanilla perfume out.
She waited a whole minute before walking into the huge mall. The smell of designer clothes, new Louis Vuitton's', and new perfumes sent adrenaline pumping through Massie's veins. She wanted to eagerly drop the mission and go on a winter shopping spree but TPC's future depended on this. Instead of turning into Sephora, Massie followed the heads of Cam and Sienna.
Sienna looked determined marching in her tanned heels and pointing out stores. Cam looked bored, tapping at something on his phone and nodding along to whatever she said. While keeping her eyes on them, Massie took out her phone and typed a text to The Pretty Committee's group chat.
Currently stalking Sienna w Skye rn.
She threw her phone back into her tote and ran after Sienna.
Sienna was turning into Neiman Marcus. Massie pushed an older woman out of her view and stood next to the display windows. Heavily accessorized and expensive silk clothed the mannequins' that posed in weird angles. Luckily, they perfectly obscured Massie's identity and offered her a glimpse of Sienna browsing the racks. Massie knew she looked crazy with her nose pressed against the glass but she didn't care. She watched as Sienna took a silver sequined mini dress off the rack and pinned it against her body. It was so nawt her style or color!
"What do you think?" Sienna asked loudly over the Britney Spears track playing.
Massie couldn't see Cam's reaction because his back was turned but he must've said something good. Sienna gave him a flirty look and draped the dress over her arm. She browsed the section for more clothes and Cam sat on a purple heel-shaped cushion by the dressing rooms. Massie removed herself from the window and ran into the store. She accidentally knocked over a display of mini perfume bottles and they all shattered to floor. Sienna turned in Massie's direction but Massie dove under a table full of lacy lingerie.
"Ma'am?" a saleswoman with coral lipstick peeked under the table. "Is everything okay?" she blinked at Massie.
"Um…" Massie looked around. She thrusted a handful of turquoise and black thongs into the saleswoman face. "Can you see if these are in an XL? And if so, give them to Sienna Miller when she checks out. The two-faced girl with a trench coat on."
The saleswoman gave Massie a weird glance but took the underwear from Massie and click-clacked into the back. Massie crawled from under the table and stood up. Now, Sienna stood a few feet away at the clearance rack and had at least six articles of clothing on her arm. Her phone was propped between her shoulder and ear as she quietly talked to someone.
Massie ducked under a couple of racks, knocking into old woman who chided her. "What are you doing?" someone hissed. Massie looked up, half expecting the real Sienna to be glaring at her and revealing to Massie that she had been stalking a look alike the whole entire time. Instead, Skye hovered over her looking like she was transported from Salvation Army to the world of luxurious designer clothes. "Trying to listen to Sienna's conversation.." Massie replied. She peeked between a last season Alice + Olivia red dress and a Christian Dior pencil skirt. As if that would help Massie hear what was going on.
She moved closer to Sienna, roughly scratching her knees and clawing her way beneath racks. She could hear her almost perfectly now.
"But the thing is, Idina….."
Massie took her phone out and pressed record.
"I'm not sure if it's worth it. I mean, yeah Cam is good. I mean we did it and he was a great for a first timer." Sienna explained. She accepted a basket from a saleswoman and dumped all her stuff inside. "But Jett was just…amazing! I kind of wish Jett would've dumped his girlfriend and asked me. Or even Landon, I just…" she gripped her phone and changed the subject. "…Cam's just been moping around lately. Like, he actually regrets dumping the lumpy marshmallow Claire."
Massie's knees ached from where she kneeled on two hangers.
"What?" Sienna muttered into the phone. "Are you still hungover?" she asked. "Ugh whatever." She opened her mouth to say something else but paused. "Call you back later, I! Skye Hamilton is here and is coming my way!" she said and slid her phone in her back pocket. She stared at the racks and pretended not to notice Skye marching her way.
"EhmaSkye!" Sienna exclaimed. She finally looked up and squeezed Skye into a half-hearted hug. Once she let go, the girls stood apart staring each other down. Sienna eyed Skye's nasty-looking outfit, curling her lips in disapproval and said, "You've….looked better." Skye folded her arms across her sweatshirt. "Good to see you too." She responded with hostility in her voice. "I haven't seen you since you ruined my life. I had to change schools because of you and no one believed me when I said you were out to get me. I want to get into Yale but I doubt I can now."
Sienna turned and nonchalantly started to browse accessories on a glass case. "That was then, Skye. This is now. I was just maliciously rude during that time." She spoke so calmly.
Skye's bun flopped around her as she shook her head. "Bull-shit." She spat.
Sienna put down a diamond-encrusted bracelet and faced Skye. "So what if I did?" she lowered her voice to a whisper. "You were too popular! I WANTED to be popular! There was no room for you. Yes, I was out to get you! No one saw it because they worshipped me. And that video, I hired Connor and his friends to set everything up!"
The words must've stung Skye. She looked as if she had been slapped.
"As for your Yale situation, it's not my fault! You're a stupid whore and it's not like your mom who by the way I know is a hooker now can afford you a full ride there!"
Skye slapped Sienna across the cheek hardly. "You bitch!" she sneered. A security guard patrolling around the store quickly stepped in and pulled Skye away from Sienna. She was close to landing a punch in Sienna's otherwise flawless face when a Channing Tatum lookalike guard grabbed her left arm. "How dare you insult my mom?!" she shouted and was dragged by her arms out the store.
Sienna didn't even seem shocked by Skye's outburst. For a split second she looked hurt, but she regained herself and rubbed the red handprint that was starting to fade. The Channing Tatum guard doubled back to check on her. "Are you okay, ma'am?" He asked. "Do you want me to call the police?"
Sienna's eyes widened at the word police. She gave the guard a grim smile and said, "No, pressing chargers. I'll be fine. Just please get her out." She stared at down at Skye. She was thrashing around on the floor trying to bring herself out the guards grip.
"Will do!" Channing Tatum boomed and helped the other guard haul Skye out the store.
Cam ran over to Sienna's side. "Are you okay?" he asked, rubbing her shoulders.
Sienna waved her hand. "Yeah. Karma's hit her big time so I'm not worried. Let me check out now." She pretended nothing ever happened, dumped her basket into the hands of the saleswoman from earlier and walked to the register. The saleswoman followed and rung up the first item—a navy Theory cardigan that totaled three hundred dollars.
Massie realized she was still recording and pressed the red button. She started to slip her phone back into her purse when it suddenly flashed brightly in the direction of Sienna. Massie ducked underneath the racks and sat on her phone. Dylan was texting her and wouldn't stop either.
Sienna, Cam, and the saleswoman looked in Massie's direction but they couldn't see her. "Ehmagawd!" Sienna shouted at no one in particular. "Skye Hamilton has a minion in here and is stalking me and taking pictures." She began to walk over and Massie was sure she was done with but Cam placed an arm on her shoulder. "Don't be silly. It's probably something else." He assured her. "Skye Hamilton is a crazy skank."
Sienna paused, thinking this through and swiveled back on her heel. "True," she shrugged, taking out a Black American Express card and giving it to the saleswoman.
The saleswoman took out a white Neiman Marcus bag and stuffed over $5,000 dollars, worth of clothes inside. "Do you want your lingerie?" she asked, propping Sienna's bag on the counter and turning to grab the lacy turquoise thongs.
Sienna tapped on the 'YES' button to signify her purchase. "What lingerie?"
The saleswoman frowned and said. "These." She splayed the suggestive thongs out on the counter. "XL thongs. Some girl with amber eyes and ombre ha—"
Massie stuck her leg from underneath the rack and kicked two mannequins on the ground. They both crashed to the floor, one of their heads popping off. Everyone jumped at the sound. Massie made her move for the exit while everyone was distracted. She ran out the store as if she had just stolen the latest Elie Tahari dress.
"Massie?" someone that sounded like Cam gasped.
Massie didn't even whip her head around as she ran out the entrance. She almost passed Skye who was lounging on a bench reading a Gucci catalog."Massie!" Skye called over the loud cacophony of people talking. Massie skidded to a stop almost knocking into a girl with a Dover Prep blazer on.
"EhmaIthoughtIlostyou." Massie muttered all at once, trying to catch her breath. "Siennawasontomebutyou'reconfrontationwasamazing."
Skye seemed to understand what she was saying and nodded. "I'm lucky, the guards were going to escort me off the premises and have me charged but they let me off the hook. Annnnnd it was worth it." She folded the Gucci catalog and threw it into the trashcan beside her.
Massie sat next to Skye on the bench but no sooner than her butt hit the seat, Sienna and Cam were walking out of Neiman Marcus. Of course, Skye jerked Massie to a standing position and dragged her after them. "Slow down!" Massie's feet slipped around on the floor. She thought they were going to take a break at least.
Sienna looked around suspiciously like Skye was going to come out and ambushed. She stopped a couple of times at the designer stores to peek her head in. She'd pretended to take interest in a display and say something to Cam. He would nod his head in agreement to whatever she said and go back to tapping on his phone.
After five minutes of suspiciously looking and walking around, Sienna turned into Victoria's Secret. Cam followed closely behind trying to not make eye contact with lingerie or the posters of scantily clad VS models. A saleswoman in all black greeted them and said loudly, "Welcome to Victoria's Secret! We're having a buy two, get one 50% off on bras and panties!" She thrusted a pink coupon into the hands of Sienna.
Massie and Skye hovered near the display window, watching Sienna run to a black bedazzled bra on a rack. "What? Can't she afford Agent Provocateur?" Massie questioned, glaring at the back of Sienna's stupid head. "The answer for that," Skye sighed. "Will be saved for another time we meet up." Massie arched an eyebrow in response. Was it possible that Sienna wasn't filthy, dirty rich?
Skye shuffled to the entrance in her beat-up Uggs. "Now let's go!" she whispered loudly to Massie. Massie jogged next to her, her shoulders aching from all the crap she put inside her purse. "Are you sure?' she asked, starting to feel nervous. "What if they see us again?" Skye didn't say anything.
The disgustingly pink shop rained silver glitter when Skye and Massie crossed the threshold. The same saleswoman waited to greet them with pink coupons covered in glitter. Massie waved her the coupon away. "We're just looking." She said to the silver flecks in the girl's hair.
"My name is Angela, let me or any of the other girls know if you need something!" The saleswoman chirped. A fresh batch of glitter rained down on their heads as another customer stepped in. The saleswoman rushed to greet her.
Skye pulled Massie over to a white drawer full of ugly bras. She turned her back, just in case Sienna happened to spun around and see her. "Where is she?" Skye murmured from out the side of her mouth. She picked up a blue tiger print bra and pretended she was considering buying it. Massie saw the back of Sienna's head moving to the dressing rooms. "Dressing room!" she said.
She stood on her toes to see what Sienna was holding. Sienna gave over an array of lingerie to a saleswoman who sifted through numbers on a rack and gave her the number seven. Sienna disappeared into the black and white striped dressing room. "Cam!" she called over her shoulder. "Come over here!" she pointed to a leopard print cushion with pink, black, and white cushions. "Uh, okay.." he blushed, walking over to the cushion and sitting down.
Massie quietly tiptoed across the floor and edged closer to the dressing room. She stood next to a reject rack a few feet away from Cam. "You know? I could've sworn I saw Massie." Cam told Sienna through the door. Massie could tell he felt painfully awkward and was trying to make small talk.
"Did they see you?" Skye sidled up to her.
Massie shook her head.
"And?" Sienna snapped, sounding slightly jealous. "Do you like her or something? You must like Skye Hamilton too." she accused.
Cam picked at a thread on the cushion. "No," he cleared his throat. "But—"
"Well, conversation over." Sienna concluded. She couldn't even stand it when people talked about Massie! "What do you think?" her sultry voice floated out the room and she flung the door open. Cam gawked at Sienna in all her goodness. "G-great." He stuttered out.
Sienna wore a matching burgundy bra and panty set that showed off her boobs and emphasized her body. "Personally," She walked towards a pink mirror in the back and studied herself. "I like it." She bent her body in poses from Zumba, obviously trying way too hard to show Cam he shouldn't worry about Claire. A man sitting outside the dressing room stared blindingly obvious at her. His girlfriend glared at Sienna with enough poison to kill someone and dragged him away.
"It's g-great." Cam said to Sienna's butt.
Massie rolled her eyes, feeling disgusted, amused, and anger all at the same time.
"Just great?" Sienna frowned at Cam's reflection in the mirror. "Would Claire take you to Victoria's Secret to help her pick out ah-mazing lingerie to wear for you?" she spun around to glare at him. Cam, who had no idea what he said wrong, stared at the ground in regret. "No," he sighed. "But she would pick it out without my help so she could surprise me."
Sienna stood for a whole minute shooting a vicious glare at him. She finally removed herself from where she stood and padded back into the dressing room. "Fine!" she snapped. "I'll pick out a whole bunch of lingerie and won't ask your opinion on it. I wanted to do you know what tomorrow evening but looks like I'm not!" she marched out in her regular clothes, throwing the bra and panty set at the saleswoman. "You can leave!" she barked at Cam.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to find good lingerie and not waste it on you. Maybe another guy."
Massie and Skye pressed themselves against the wall as Sienna stalked past them. She didn't even notice the set of eyes peeking from beneath the racks. She walked over to a mannequin advertising the newest hot pink bra with built-in support. She looked behind her and acted as if she wanted Cam to chase her and declare his love for her.
Cam didn't.
He stood up from the cushion, looking slightly relieved that it was over and walked out the dressing room. He passed by Massie who could see the screen of his phone. He was trying to text Claire with no luck apparently. Massie craned her neck to see what the texts said but Cam was already walking out the store.
"What now?" Massie turned to Skye.
Skye pointed to Sienna. She was consulting a frizzy redhead with the pink bra wrapped around her arm. "Seriously, it would look good on you." She mused to the redhead. The girl blushed and sheepishly asked, "You think so?" she stared down at her breasts that popped out her shirt. "Yeah!" Sienna reached out to grab another pink bra and accidentally brushed her hand against the girl's right breast. "Oh sorry!" she apologized. The girl giggled nervously and smiled at Sienna who smiled back. They both gazed into each other's eyes that hinted at something suggestive.
Massie whipped around to face Skye. "Is. Sienna. A. Lesbian?" she asked. She had nothing against the gay community but the last person she expected to be gay was Sienna.
Skye just said, "Page 149."
Massie lifted the clasps of her satchel and peered inside for the pink notebook. She fished out the thick notebook and flipped the pages noisily to page 149. "Shhh." Skye whispered. Massie stared at the journal entry on the page, then widened her eyes in surprise. The entry read:
Dear Journal, I think I'm bisexual. I've only kissed one girl but I liked it. I also like kissing boys too. But I feel something strongly for girls. I want to branch out and experiment.
The rest of the page was blank but Massie could NAWT believe she just read that. Sienna, bisexual? That was something she didn't expect. Massie closed the journal, reeling in shock. She knew it was wrong but she took out her phone and pressed record.
"Do you think it's my size?" The redhead bombarded Sienna with questions. She brought Sienna's hands close to her chest and Sienna sheepishly groped them. "Totally," Sienna winked seductively, like it was every day she touched a stranger's chest in Victoria's Secret "It would look better on the floor…" she said in a sarcastic manner but it was clear she wasn't joking.
The redhead raised her eyebrows seductively. "Dressing room?"
"Let's go." Sienna started across the pink floor. "I want to see how this would look on you."
"I'm Nikki, by the way."
"Sienna."
They disappeared in the dressing room together about to do who knows what! They had just met but stood tooo close to each other not to do something. But who knows? Maybe they actually were genuinely helping each other pick out cute bras.
Massie stopped the video feeling disgusted with herself but also happy. She had captured one of Sienna's biggest secrets on camera. What would she do when Massie exposed her at the party? She knew that would be crossing the line and even considered deleting the video later. But Sienna had done way too many terrible things to The Pretty Committee and LBR's. Now, it was her turn to play the little game.
"This video were going to make about her is going to be great." Skye said.
The K in Karma stood for Kicking Sienna's Ass.
And oh, were they going to kick her sorry ass back to Brazil!
Marvils' Manor
Living Room
January, Saturday 23rd
6:50 P.M.
In honor of the season three premiere of The Marvilous Marvils, Merri-Lee had decided to host a watch party to celebrate the highly-anticipated season. A few of her socialite friends mingled at the upstairs bar sipping their martinis ever so haughtily and exchanging gossip about the mysterious blonde in a blue Honda riding around neighborhoods. Jaime and Ryan sat in the lounge with their rich, snobby friends and their tight-lipped smiles waiting for the show to start. And well, for Dylan, she sat on the red sectional couch in the living room with The Pretty Committee who were seemingly quiet while she chided her mom.
"Mo-oo-mmmmm," Dylan whined to her mother, Merri-Lee Marvil. "Would you puh-lease stop taking pictures of everyone and sit down? You're blocking the screen."
Merri-Lee pranced around excitedly in her plum-colored YSL silk slip dress taking pictures of the girls in her living room. "I want to document this for the talk show!" she chirped, almost plowing into the Marvils' French maid Cecilia who was depositing Godiva chocolates in porcelain bowls on the coffee table. "I'll make it a new segment!" she snapped a picture of Dylan stuffing a caramel stuffed-chocolate into her open mouth. "Maybe call it The Marvilous Marvils Watch Party segment."
Dylan rolled her eyes. Her mother was always coming up with new segments for her highly popular talk show. "Yeah, whatever," she said. "Can you bother Jaime and Ryan? They're in the lounge upstairs. You haven't took any pictures of them or even better take some of your friends"
"You're right dear!" Merri-Lee chattered. "I haven't!" she ambled away in her limited edition brown Sigerson Morrison clogs to bother the guests upstairs and leaving Dylan with her friends.
"Ehmasorry!" Dylan apologized. "She's always get excited for the season premieres."
"That's okay." Kristen chuckled from her spot on a white ottoman. She sat near the crackling fireplace, drinking a steaming mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows in it.
Massie walked from the kitchen, carrying two steaming mugs while grinning smugly. "She's just really excited and so am I." she smiled and set down a Harvard mug on a coaster next to Claire who had her face stuffed into a throw pillow. "Me too…" Claire groaned sadly. Massie sat on the edge of the recliner Claire was sitting on, "Cheer up," she rolled her eyes. "We'll find you another guy in no time."
"Whatever." Claire mumbled into the pillow. She lifted her mascara, tear-stained face for a breath of air. "Can we talk about something else?"
"Like how, Dylan was supposedly going to Hawaii this week?" Kristen glared at her mug in jealousy.
"Mom canceled it…" Dylan shrugged. She was a little bit more than pissed when Merri-Lee had canceled their Hawaiian trip for more shooting at their house.
Massie wrapped her hair into a bun and fastened in place with a hair band she found in the seat cushion. "Let's talk my stake out with Skye Hamilton."
"You've already told us already!" Dylan reminded Massie "Twenty times."
Massie crossed her legs and tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Okay, well let's talk about how Kristen is definitely going to ask this guy Jason Ricci out for prom." she giggled.
Kristen poked a floating marshmallow in her mug with her pinky nail. "Yeah right." She passively said. Jason Ricci was some lame guy Kristen made up so Massie wouldn't hook her up with one of the snooty, Boss Hugo wearing Briarwood soccer boys. She would probably have to break down and tell Massie he wasn't real or just scrap up all her allowance and pay a guy to be her date.
Massie opened her glossed lips to rhetorically reply back but just then Merri-Lee's breathy voice floated out the television speakers. "It's on!" Dylan hissed, her charm bracelet loudly banging against the remote as she turned up the volume. The lights dimmed in the living room and a white glare casted over their faces. An opening shot of Dylan, Jaime, and Ryan in matching custom made turquoise dresses and black heels appeared on the screen. Each of the girls twirled around in a spiral of glitter, flashed their winning grins, and said their names. Dylan cringed when she saw herself on screen doing a dance Larry had made her do. "I'm Dylan and I'm the spunkiest of them all." She squealed in closed-teeth and twirled off screen.
The scene cut and glitter whirled onto the screen and surrounded Merri-Lee who was dressed in a turquoise pantsuit. "I'm Merri-Lee and this is my family!" she beamed at the camera. "The Marvilous Marvils!" She threw her hands up in the air like a circus performer and Dylan, Jaime, and Ryan walked to their mother's side. They all posed for the camera and a shutter effect sounded. A highly airbrushed photo was shown of them with The Marvilous Marvils scrawled across in cursive, turquoise font. The picture faded away and cut to a shot of Westchester, New York with luxurious Range Rovers, designer shops, and tall mansions set to upbeat, poppy music.
When the intro was over, Ryan's flawless face appeared. She was sitting on a wooden stool in front of a hanging diamonds backdrop, looking spectacular pretty with her red hair falling down to her hips and her glistening blue eyes. "I'm so excited for Cole and I's one year anniversary!" Ryan shouted excitedly. "Today I'm going to surprise him with a gift!" the camera showed her outside at Westchester Prep, the school Dylan's sisters attended, wearing a velvet dark blue long-sleeved crop top, black YSL mohair miniskirt, and five-inch platforms. She looked like a hooker with dark red lips and her hair styled in a seductive pompadour. She stood next to a large red box with yellow ribbon tied around it on a black wagon.
"Ugh!" Dylan could hear Ryan screech from the lounge upstairs. "They showed my right side! I told them my best side is the left." She sounded super pissed off, as if she would go to Larry and demand for him to remove and burn every episode somehow. Dylan flicked her nail into the air in annoyance. Of course, Ryan would probably go on one of her infamous food strikes or do something wholly dramatic just because they showed her wrong side.
"Ry, what are you doing?" Onscreen Jaime asked her sister. She shifted from one foot to another, folding her arms, scowling, and clearly playing the 'I'm-So-Not-Happy-For-You-and-Your-Boyfriend' sister role perfectly. "Yeah!" One of Jaime's friend named Claudia chimed in. She mirrored the exact position of Jaime. "It's freezing out here! Can't you do that another time?"
Ryan smiled and without warning whipped off her crop top to reveal a hot pink demi-cup bra. "Nope!" she cackled loudly. She didn't even seem to shiver as snow started to descend from the sky and on her skin. Ryan jumped into the box, "Roll me in!" she snapped to three of her friends who were making sure everything was in place. They were gluing small, black and white photo copies of Cole and Ryan on the front, backs, and sides of the life-sized present. Ryan's friends dropped the glue sticks in their hands and put a matching top on the box. "Here we go!" Ryan's friend, a girl in with stick blonde hair and waterlogged hazel eyes, grunted as she pulled the wagon. The two other girls followed behind bringing up the rear. "This is stupid!" Jaime called.
The camera followed the girl with stick blonde hair into a pair of double doors. Inside, teenagers in red uniform shirts, and blue pleated skirts and pants milled around in the hall waiting for their next period that happened to be lunch. Everyone's gazes quickly shifted from each other to the gold and red present that was being pulled by the blonde, sweating girl. "Who do you think it is?" a girl whispered to her friend who seemed to not hear her as she was so transfixed. The stick blonde girl approached a group of six HARTs in pressed blazers. They were all leaning against their lockers when they saw the giant gift headed their way. A boy with short, close-cropped brown hair and baby blue eyes turned around and Dylan instantly recognized him as Cole.
Well, actually he was an actor Merri-Lee had hired, whose real name was Jared but he went by Cole.
"He's cute." Kristen mused from behind her mug.
"What's going on?" Cole suspiciously asked. He shoved his hands in his pocket and shifted back and forth. As if, he didn't know what dramatic gimmick Ryan had pulled up her sleeve.
Counting ten seconds later, Ryan popped out the box with confetti thrown everywhere. There were audible gasps aloud from the gathering crowd and Cole's mouth dropped open.
The screen went entirely blank and cut to a commercial about constipation and diarrhea.
Dylan turned the television down as Cecilia walked around filling the overflowing bowls with more Godiva chocolates. "What do you guys think so far?" Dylan unwrapped a caramel Godiva and shoved it into her mouth. "I would never go that far to impress a guy," Claire spoke in barely a whisper. "That's so dumb!" she angrily started at the fireplace and its crackling flames. The tinged orange of the fire made the fresh tears that were rolling down her face glisten.
Massie shook her empty mug at Cecilia, silently asking for her to fill it up. "I ah-gree in one way." She gave Cecilia her cup and slid of the recliner. "He has to equally go that far for you. Just giving you roses, will NAWT cut it!" she shuffled across the wooden floor in her moccasins and flopped down on the couch. "Believe me I know." She sighed.
Kristen set her mug down and twisted her locks into a messy bun on her head "When are we going dress shopping?" she asked. The Kweens were all planning to "accidentally" match for the Winter Formal in light blue dresses and Kristen wanted to have the best one. I mean she was alpha! Of course, she had to be the best dressed. As long as Massie, didn't know….
"Tomorrow afternoon." Massie breathed. She closed her eyes and envisioned the dress of her dreams. "The Bella Bella Boutique next to Landon's mom's shop. "
Dylan was in the process of unwrapping her sixth Godiva when she heard what Massie said. On Monday, she went to Bella Bella with The Plastics and bought a dress. "Uh." Dylan swallowed the lump in her throat. "I already bought a dress."
Massie's eyes quickly shifted to her and wandered up and down. She looked like she was trying to see through Dylan's skin and pinpoint the secret she was hiding. "When? You never told me?" Massie arched an eyebrow suspiciously. She still wasn't with The Plastics, was she? "What color is it?" she hissed, firing questions left and right.
Dylan started to feel as if she was transported back to Monday when Sienna was interrogating her. The flames in the fireplace seemed to be mocking her and the heater was on way tooo high. "Silver." She nonchalantly said, forcing herself to look Massie in the eyes. "With light blue undertones."
"I'm supposed to be the only one with a silver dress." Massie whined. "I thought we had established that." She accepted the new mug of fresh hot chocolate Cecilia handed her and took one, long pensive sip.
"I can always take it back." Dylan concurred. She would just have to find an explanation when Sienna asked her why she wasn't wearing the dress she had picked out.
Someone's unfamiliar laugh reverberated off the walls. "Aw, no way, I really wanted to know what your dress looked like, so we could match."
The girls all turned around to see Josh Hotz standing in the Marvil's foyer clutching an Edible Arrangement bouquet in his hands. Josh's jeans dragged on the Persian rug but he looked super cute in an olive green parka, a basic white shirt, and brown cowboy boots. Dylan could smell the spicy notes of his cologne as he drifted closer towards her. "Josh…" she said completely surprised. How did he even know where she lived and why was he bringing her a giant bouquet of fruit?
Josh grinned in the cutest way that made him look like a cute golden retriever. He crossed around the couch and fell to his knees in front of Dylan. "Dylan?" he asked her, thrusting the fruit in her face. "Sorry, I never texted you. I know we were supposed to go on a date today but I thought I should do this instead. Will you go to the dance with me?"
Dylan didn't even like him that much, but he definitely earned major points, for bringing her food. Who cares if it was healthy? She needed to eat more fruit and vegetables anyway. Also, he looked cute and smelled super good. "Yes!" Dylan excitedly screamed, jumping on Josh for a hug.
Out of nowhere, Merri-Lee arrived with a cocktail in one hand and a black camera wedged in the other. "Ow sweeeet!" she slurred, nearly tripping over the couch in her clogs. "I need a picture!" she put her martini into the hands of Cecilia. "Pour me some more!" Merri-Lee demanded in an excited tone. Cecilia shook her head but bustled back into the kitchen. "Now smile, you two!" she turned and put the camera up to her face.
Dylan and Josh stood next to the fireplace with Josh's arm firmly wrapped around her waist.
"Take a picture of us too, Mass." Dylan muttered and posed for a series of pictures with Josh. Merri-Lee leaned over the couch and glanced at the pictures Massie had taken. "Cute!" she grinned, then disappeared with her new drink.
Dylan turned to Josh and squeezed him into a hug, not wanting to let go. "Thank you." She whispered into his ear. "You're welcome." He kissed her on the cheek.
Claire who had wanted to vomit all over the floor when she witnessed the whole thing, snapped, "I can't see what's happening. You guys are in the way!"
Dylan and Josh walked to the couch, hand in hand, where an excited Massie beamed happily. "You guys will definitely be the cutest couple, but not cuter than Landon and I…" she teased and tossed Dylan her phone. Massie had uploaded a photo on Dylan's Instagram of Josh kissing her cheek with the caption "Oh yeah, this guy asked me to The Winter Formal. Isn't he the sweetest?" Dylan laughed and locked her phone.
Onscreen, The Marvilous Marvils had just returned a minute ago where Cole was clutching Ryan in his arms and continuously thanking her for the Luke Bryan tickets she had just given him. "Thank you so much," he beamed, diving in at her for a kiss. "I love you." They had a super long kiss session in the middle of the hall with everyone staring at them. It gave Dylan secondhand embarrassment to watch Ryan push her tongue into his mouth, going all out, as if she wanted everyone to know she was his. Thankfully, after an agonizing, ten seconds, Ryan released herself from the embrace and took Cole's hands into her. Together, they turned, locking their hands into each other's, and walked, no skipped down the hallway into a bright light. Almost like they were starring in some cheesy, romantic film.
Some dude in black cords, shooed everyone away from the hallway, and pushed the gigantic present Ryan had left off-screen.
The camera cut to an exterior frame of The Marvils' Manor with its' trimmed hedges and a statue of a nude Greek goddess in the courtyard. A stamp on the bottom left corner announced the time: 9:19 P.M. Inside the sprawling manor, Ryan and Jaime stood a few, feet apart having a heated argument in the foyer. "Don't lie to me! I saw the screenshot of you guys texting!" Ryan yelled at her sister. The way Larry had set the whole thing up was for Jaime, the supposedly mistaken sister, to "pretend" she was seeing Cole secretly. (This is reality TV, baby! Who would actually date their sister's boyfriend?) Ryan would end up finding out after retrieving Jaime's phone for her and seeing a text from Cole.
Jaime froze and entered into state of shock as the blood drained from her face. Ryan broke down into a fit of despair and rage, taking deep sobs that sounded so fake. Larry needed to spend less money on the wardrobe and get both of Dylan's sister acting lessons with professionals ASAP. "I can't believe you, you….bitch!" Ryan improv slapped Jaime who staggered back more so in real shock instead of hurt.
Dylan's stomach churned when she remembered the part that was coming up next. She was supposed to "nonchalantly" emerge out of the hallway and blurt out, "Cole kissed me!" But instead Dylan had a nervous breakdown after being forced into tight clothes and vomited her guts out in an anxiety episode.
After she had regained her composure, she had left the bathroom and to her surprise the foyer was completely void and empty. She stared at the ferns lining the staircase looking for hidden cameras but didn't find any. After hours of searching for wired cameras Dylan had retreated to her bedroom and went to sleep feeling as if something was up.
She wondered what as the episode continued on.
Merri-Lee rushed from the kitchen to lecture her angry daughters. "You shouldn't do this, girls!" she tried her best to frown with all the Botox in her face. "No boy is worth fighting over! You need to make up." she brought her daughters into a loving embrace. Jaime rubbed her face where a red handprint had formed, "You're right, mom!" she sniffed. Ryan shook her bobble head in agreement. "Yeah!" she wiped the fake tears from her face. "I'm sorry, Jaime."
Jaime tightly hugged her sister. "No, I am! I don't know what came over me." Fake tears were now spilling out the corner of her eyes. "I shouldn't have done this."
"Consider yourself forgiven." Ryan told her.
Merri-Lee looked on with a touched look as Jaime and Ryan hugged. And just like that, Ryan and Jaime's problems were solved! Dylan gritted her teeth in annoyance as it went to commercial break.
"So faaaaake…." Dylan yawned. She checked the time on her phone and realized she still had thirty more minutes of this nonsense.
Ryan suddenly came from the lounge with a sleepy-eyed Cole tagging along behind her. "That's the point Dyl-uhn!" she snapped. "Reality tv!" she went to the kitchen and asked Cecilia for a margarita even though she was nowhere near the legal age. Cole asked her for one too, and disappeared into the hallway bathroom. Kristen's cheeks flushed as she stared at him.
"Margaritas…" Massie perked up. She wasn't even watching The Marvilous Marvils but instead texting Landon to keep awake. A margarita is just what she needed right now. "Seriously?"
"My mom usually doesn't give margaritas to minors." Dylan sighed. "Unless you're seventeen but she's not here now."
Massie raced to kitchen with Kristen right on her heels.
Josh stood up. "I'm just going to get hot chocolate," he laughed when he saw Dylan's questioning his stare. "You want anything?" he turned to Claire. She was angrily jabbing her thumbs into her phone texting Layne a long paragraph about why she hated Cam. She was too busy in thought to even fully acknowledge Josh. She probably wouldn't even talk to him because she would suspect he knew about Sienna and Cam. "Let her be, she's like a ticking time bomb." Dylan grimly noted. "She's been happy and angry all day."
Josh shrugged and headed for the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Kristen sipped the alcohol-free margarita she made Cecilia brew her. She never had alcohol before and was afraid that if she did it would send her off the rails. "It's not a margarita without alcohol, Kris." Massie told her. She stared over the rim of her glass as she drunk. Cole or whatever his real name came out the bathroom looking bored. Ryan told him she was heading back up and he nodded. "Um, hey.." she cheerfully said when Ryan left. Cole looked at her for a second, unsure if Kristen was talking to him but said, "Hey…" with a smug smile.
Massie rolled her eyes at Kristen, but then smiled, Kristen was actually coming out of her shell. "Kristen's flirting with Cole." She announced as she padded back into the living room. "At least, Ryan is not actually dating Jared," Dylan corrected. "And he's single."
"They would make a cute couple!" Massie sealed her approval of Cole.
Josh joined Dylan on the couch again, sticking his mug out in front of him, so he wouldn't spill anything on the expensive rug or couch. He pressed his leg against hers and Dylan didn't even bother to move hers away. She liked the feeling of Josh right next to her.
A commercial ended on television and The Marvils' Manor once again appeared on the screen. The stamp read: 10:45 A.M. Saturday. "After Jaime and I made up, we realized something." Ryan sat on the wooden stool against the backdrop talking. This time her fiery, red locks were tied up into small buns. "We think Dylan is actually trying to get with Cole now.."
Dylan anxiously picked a piece of fruit from the Edible Arrangements wondering where this was going on.
The screen flashed black for a second and Jaime appeared next to her sister on another wooden stool. "Exhibit A." Jaime and Ryan said in unison.
A camera they had set up was secretly etched into a corner of Dylan's room. A grainy shot widened on the screen as Dylan recognized herself on her four-corner bed. She had just woken up that day and everything about her was a mess. Dylan's hair was piled into a messy bun on her head and crust fell out the corners of her eyes and mouth. She looked like a muffin on the screen wearing a light pink tank top that made her stomach ooze over her shorts.
She was on her phone reading a text from Ryan. Aloud, she sarcastically said, "Oh yeah Ryan I like Cole, of course. Actually, I'm having a secret thing with him."
Dylan grinded her fruit into the tiniest pieces, wondering why they had deliberately set her up like that.
"Exhibit B." Ryan and Jaime narrated together.
It was a bright, Sunday morning and Dylan was on the Marvils' tennis court hitting tennis balls, but failing to get them over the net. She grunted in frustration and was about to quick when Cole jogged over to her. He was supposed to help Ryan pick out a dress for a Sunday brunch but couldn't help but notice Dylan struggling. There, he taught her how to properly serve a ball. Cole's tanned arms slid expertly around hers and his upper body was leaning close to hers. "Thanks, Cole!" Dylan heartedly laughed as she hit her first ball over the net. He faced her, biting his lips nervously and blurted out, "Anytime!"
"Exhibit C! The last one!"
This time Dylan and Cole sat in a dimly lit Japanese restaurant eating sushi together. Their table was next to the camera giving everyone a chance to hear what they were saying. "I just feel fat!" Dylan said to Cole. She dipped her sushi in wasabi and popped some into her mouth. "You're not!" Cole wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Don't listen to what the bullies say to you." He laced his hands with her and quietly said, "I love you." Dylan smiled with wasabi all in her teeth, "I love you too." She smirked.
That was six months ago! How did they even manage to get footage of me back then! Have they been spying on me the whole time?! Dylan wanted to yell at all the clueless people who were watching this right now.
The camera returned to Ryan and Jaime who had little smirks that signified they took pleasure in making Dylan look like a homewrecker. "So yeah, that's why we think Dylan has been dating Cole this whole entire time!" Ryan shook her head in disbelief. "We thought they were just fooling around as friends when we first saw it."
"But…" Jaime widened her eyes at the camera and leaned in. "I think she's goes to him to comfort her insecurity. I heard her vomiting before. Maybe she's a bulimic."
Dylan froze as one of her secrets was revealed on national television. How could her own sister do this to her? She could feel everyone giving her sympathetic stares. Dylan's mouth went dry and the tears were suddenly on their way. She lied to herself over and over again saying this would be the first and last time she would do this.
Ding! Dylan looked down at her phone.
The truth is out fat bitch! We all know you vomit your guts out! Don't think none of us can hear you after lunch is over in the fourth stall! I can't believe your own sister ratted you out. They don't like you on TV or in real life. And from the looks of it, no one on Twitter or Facebook does either. Josh won't ever like you now once he finds out you're fooling with Cole and is actually a fat bitch! –XOXO
Dylan couldn't keep the everything was okay act up anymore. She jumped up from the couch and made a beeline for her room. She could barely see through the hot tears clouding her vision as she passed Cole and Kristen in the kitchen and ran up the stairs. "Dylan!" Merri-Lee called from the lounge. Dylan said nothing and rushed to her bathroom, slamming the door behind her.
"I can't take it anymore." She collapsed on the toilet and sobbed into her hands.
Maybe it's not worth it. Maybe I should take some pills that would make me sleep forever.
She reached for the cabinet and took out a bottle of pills, staring at the label. Before she could even think about opening them, Josh busted through the door. He saw what she was doing and wrestled the pills out her hands. "Dylan! What are you doing?" he grasped the bottle with tight fingers.
"I-I d-don't know." She let him take the pills from her and dabbed at her eyes with a Puffs tissue. "I can't do it anymore, Josh!" she screamed feeling a heavy pit in her chest.
Josh pulled her into his arms and they sat on the edge of the tub together. "Yes, you can. Your sisters are bitches. They shouldn't have done this to you. I'm here for you…" he slowly calmed her down.
When the tears had stop flowing, she looked up. Josh's mouth connected to hers and he kissed her lightly. Dylan was taken aback and started at him in disbelief. "Oh sorry.." Josh apologized, blushing. Dylan pulled him back to her and kissed him like this was the last time she would ever see him. She let go of the tension in her body and wrapped her arms around his neck. He tugged her closer to him. They made out for a couple of minutes before Josh released himself for air.
"You're not actually with Cole or anything?" he asked.
Dylan swallowed. To this day, she tried not to think or talk about the way Cole had made her feel at one time. "No." she lied.
Josh stood up abruptly, knocking over a couple of perfume bottles. "I love you but I need to go." He rearranged the bottles neatly in a line.
Dylan felt a little deflated. Josh was the only one cheering her up and all she wanted was to kiss him all night.
A banging on the door accompanied by Massie's voice startled them both.
"Yeah, you should.." she laughed, looking at herself in the mirror, trying to clean herself up.
He opened the door and nodded. "Massie." He uttered to the brunette before walking out.
Massie's mouth fell open. "Were you guys playing hide the zuchinni?" she questioned Dylan.
A/N: WOW! I'm almost as shocked as Massie. I never saw that one coming! UM WRONG! Of course I did. Who didn't? Bad girls always have something to hide and Massie just happened to uncover it. But would she really stoop low and out Sienna? I hope not because that's cruel for even Massie Block. She has a whole crop of new information to go along with this! Sienna wanting to be Massie, Sienna cheating on Cam with an early 2000's Justin Timberlake, and Sienna admitting to Skye she set her up. Does this girl make her secrets so blatantly obvious? Massie should distinguish the secrets real from fake! And she'd better have the information to back it up. The Winter Formal and Sienna's afterparty is approaching . Also, on a side note, why was Sienna shopping at Victoria's Secret? Not that she can't but you would think she would try an upscale store for her needs. Is Sienna actually a FRAUD? Is Massie close to figuring out?
Let's start with the happy news! Dylan has (possibly!) found her dream guy. Josh Hotz. He asked her to the Winter Formal but how do we know this isn't some cruel ploy? Does he actually love her or the fame? Will Alicia show up, crash the dance, and leave with Josh? Or even better! Will Cole show up? Apparently, something was brewing between them last year and it must've been serious if Dylan could lie to Josh about it. There's nothing like opening a new relationship up with lies! Now onto the bad news :( A secret Dylan's been keeping for months has been leaked by no other than Jaime Marvil. A sister betraying her own sister for more publicity! This family is in desperate need of Dr. Phil's help. My heart goes out to the redhead. Will Dylan come out to the public with her secret or will she endure the humiliation Monday? Who knows? Jaime better keep her eyes open ;)
Alicia, Kristen, and possibly Claire POVs next time :)
