Situation/Scene: Percy was about to ask Annabeth a very important question. Most likely, they're already at the age of 25 by this time, so it's kind of a futurefic.

Enjoy!

Question

Percy has been wary for the last few hours. He can't decide what's a good approach to ask his fiancé this very important question, or maybe if he should really ask it, considering she might not like the idea. What if her answer will cause a disappointment for him, or worse, what if she got mad at him?

"Percy, you're okay? Seems like you're out of your mind." Annabeth stated frankly, making him drop his earlier thoughts. She's currently sitiing across him, and eating her favorite snacks while doing the blueprints.

"Uhm…. I'm just wandering if… uhmmm…" Percy said, lost for words.

"Spill it out, Seaweed Brain." She's honestly a little irritated. They're already together for many years but he still can't ask her a question without being nervous. Heck, they're already engaged.

Percy let out a sigh, saying quickly, "Will you move in with me?"

This time, Annabeth is totally speechless, not knowing how to respond. Truth be told, she's not expecting for this.

"What?" This is all she can manage this time, still shocked with Percy's question.

"We're getting married soon, anyway." He told her as a matter of fact.

"Not good enough reason." Annabeth smirked, teasing Percy. Now, she has recovered from shock and wanted to see Percy blush from her teasing remarks.

Quite embarrassed for his bluntness, Percy slightly bowed his head, not meeting her eyes.

"I messed up," he confessed. "Let me try this in a different way."

He took Annabeth's face in his hands and lifted his own chin so their gazes met.

"I want you in the morning when your hair's a mess and you're grumpy until you've had your coffee. I want you in the evening so you can tell me about your day while we make dinner together. And I want you at night because I love nothing more than to fall asleep knowing you're closer than my next breath."

His lips lightly brushed hers.

"Will you move in with me?"

Annabeth kissed Percy on the lips, out of happiness and excitement.

After pulling back, much to Percy's disappointment, they continued watching each other's eyes, feeling satisfied.

Honestly, no answers were needed at this point, because really, both of them wanted just exactly the same thing.
