A/N: Hello everyone, first thank you for all your reviews. Next a few questions were asked and I hope to answer them all in this chapter. The question I will answer now. I was asked where Koga was the tribe leader. No it's not the northern mountains. I don't think they ever said in the anime. So I'm not going to really say. If anyone knows then I'll add it for now he's just a tribe leader. So please enjoy and keep reviewing.

Chapter 14

"Koga! Please stop this!" Kagome shouted from inside the hut. But Koga kept attacking InuYasha. Kagome felt so helpless as she watched the fight. 'Why is he doing this?' Kagome asked herself. She knew Koga and InuYasha didn't get along, but this was unusual. "I need to stop thi..."

Her words were cut off by a hand wrapped around her mouth. "So once again I have you in my arms Kagome. I must say it's nice how this is all working out." Shouhei chuckled at his words, knowing he could cause Kagome fear once again. "I must say your friend wasn't very smart bring me here. He thought I'd be killed in no time. Funny how I'm still alive and watching him get what he deserves."

InuYasha was fighting hard against Koga. As they fought Koga cursed InuYasha for hurting Kagome. Saying Kagome deserved to be loved not hurt. InuYasha had no clue why Koga kept saying he hurt Kagome, why would he hurt Kagome his wife and mother of their unborn child. 'This wolf has lost it, he should know I'd never hurt...' His thoughts stopped in his head when he saw Shouhei with Kagome. 'That bastard, how dare he do this. I bet he's the one who told Koga those lies. I should've killed him once I got him here.' Once again InuYasha's anger sparked and his demon surface.

With InuYasha's demon blood running through his veins, his speed was much faster. Now Koga didn't have time to defend himself from the next attack, and went flying back into a tree hard. The force of the hit caused the tree to break in half. For now Koga was out like a light. "Now for you." InuYasha's growled out, looking towards Shouhei.

Shouhei snickered as he held Kagome. He knew InuYasha was coming for him and he was ready this time. "So we meet again monster, and so soon. To bad I wasn't killed like you hoped by another monster." As Shouhei talked, he pulled a knife and was ready to finish what he started. "Now what will you do monster? You can't get to me that fast, you're over there and I'll slice her throat way before you can get to me."

InuYasha growled and made a fists. His long nails pierced his palm. Just like before he kept his mind, as his democratic powers were surfaced. If not he would've attacked. And right now any sudden moves would be the end for Kagome. Not far from the scene was Miroku, Sango had sent him off to see if InuYasha and Kagome wanted to have dinner with them. The loud sound of Koga hitting the tree made him hurry on his was. When he got there he saw a man holding Kagome, but not in a nice way. So he moved into action as the man talked to InuYasha.

"So InuYasha, since I can't watch the wolf kill you. I'll let you watch as I kill Kagome." He brought the knife to Kagome's throat and applied pressure. "Don't worry Kagome I'll make it quick." Shouhei said, with a grin.

Miroku saw Koga and approach him. Koga had just come to and was rubbing the back of his head. "Damn that InuYasha, how dare he hurt Kagome."

Miroku was totally confused by Koga's words. "Koga, what makes you think InuYasha would ever hurt Kagome?" Koga looked up at Miroku and huffed. Miroku looked over towards where Kagome was being held.

"Some guy said InuYasha was beating Kagome, he told me he tried to stop InuYasha and was almost killed by that mangy mutt." Koga said getting to his feet.

"Would it be the same guy that's now holding a knife to Kagome's neck?" Miroku asked, pointing to Shouhei with his staff.

Koga cursed his stupidity. "Damn, how could I let this happen?"

"Well for right now all we can do is find a way to save Kagome, and I think I know how." Miroku said before sneaking back into the wooded area behind InuYasha's hut. He was quiet as a mouse as he went in from behind the hut. To sneak up behind Shouhei and save Kagome.

Shouhei had no clue Miroku was behind him and with his staff ready, Miroku made his move right before Shouhei could cut Kagome's neck. Miroku brought his staff down catching Shouhei around his neck and pulled him back in a choke hold. "Sorry mister, but no body hurts my friends."

Shouhei left go of Kagome and the knife as he struggled to break free from Miroku's hold. Seeing his wife free from harm, InuYasha jumped into action and grabbed Shouhei by his arm ripping him away from Miroku.

Seeing his friends demon form made Miroku go into defense mood and quickly went to Kagome to erect a barrier. However he found InuYasha was gone. He kneeled down beside Kagome and made sure she wasn't hurt. "Kagome, are you okay, what on earth happened here?"

Kagome started to tell Miroku all about Shouhei and the events that took place in her time up to what was happening now. "The only thing I don't get Miroku, is why Koga thinks InuYasha hurt me?"

Miroku placed a hand on Kagome's shoulder and told her that Shouhei had tricked Koga by lying to him. "Don't worry Kagome, Koga knows what really happened now."

Kagome saw Koga in the distance and went to talk to him. "Koga, are you okay? That was a hard hit you took."

Koga nodded and spoke. "Yeah I'm fine Kagome, it's you that was in real danger though. I'm sorry for all I've done. I just keep messing up around here."

Kagome smiled. "It's fine Koga, but let's try to make things better okay. InuYasha is my husband now, so I think you better let the thought of me being your mate go."

Koga nodded that he understood. "You're right Kagome, I better get back to my tribe before InuYasha gets back. See ya Kagaome and good luck with InuYasha." He waved to her and in a tornado of wind he was gone.

Miroku was now standing beside Kagome and looking in the direction InuYasha went. "So I guess we wait for him to return."

"Yeah, I know he'll be back soon. Come I'll make you some tea Miroku." For now they'd drink some tea and wait for InuYasha's return.
