This is definitely the longest I've ever not updated, so I am really sorry guys. I really want to thank all of you that sent me reviews about continuing because of how much you like my fanfiction. It really touched me (all of you were guests though for some reason so I couldn't really thank you through messaging). I've just been so swamped with clubs in school and finals that I haven't even had the time to think about it. I have this entire week off though so I will get in maybe even two chapters before the week is over.

This chapter is actually dedicated to someone. Yay! This is dedicated to Hikaru who had a total of seven votes and also features our favorite self doubting exorcist!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I will be on vacation for a good portion of December as well as taking care of projects due for school during the entire first half (in fact I should be reading my book report book right now). The vacation will be away from any internet access so while I may be able to type, I won't be able to submit (and come on, I'm going to the Caribbean. Do I really want to waste valuable time that could be spent enjoying the atmosphere and watching anime on fanfiction. NO!) In a few words: ONE MONTH HIATUS. I will be back by mid January.

Also I have another contest with a different pairing.

"No, no. I look like a sickly bird." The German woman half sobbed this as she let go of her unruly hair causing it to fall over her face. "Hair, you will be tamed!" she then shouted enthusiastically. She grabbed the brush on her bathroom counter and tried, oh how did she try, to rake it through her brown locks only to be met with tangles and pain. Putting down the brush in defeat she reached for the last tool she had at her disposal, a hair tie. She simply fastened her curly hair at the base of her neck, not bothering with her messy bangs. Looking then in the mirror she was at the very least more pleased with this look then the others. Her dark bangs hid her almost non existent eyebrows and sunken in cheeks. She thought for maybe just a second if she pretended it were a different person in the mirror, they could actually be considered pretty, but who was she kidding? She was already twenty-six years old. She didn't have a steady job, her schooling was worthless, and she had never even had a boyfriend. At this rate she was doomed to die a vir-!

Bing!

The text tone on Miranda's phone interrupted her train of thought. Slightly startled, she fumbled for her phone. It had almost slipped though her shaking fingers but she was able to save it from the harsh trip downwards. She glanced at it to see that she had been sent a plane ticket.

"Wait, a plane ticket? But I don't remember… AHHHH!" She shrieked remembering yesterday's events. "B-but! I thought that it was just some crazy dream. I sure am glad that I didn't show up at work today, though. I haven't even packed. I have to hurry!" As the woman scrambled around the house trying to stuff everything that she thought she might need into a medium sized luggage and purse she continued to mutter things to herself about what to pack and how she was such an air head at times.

Things like this were a regular occurrence.

"And now I'm even talking to myself! I really need to break this habit, but I guess it becomes second nature after living alone for so long and…"

Allen was half sitting up in his hospital bed supported by pillows as well as the raised back of the electronic bed when he heard a knock at his door. A grinning ginger head poked through before coming in with a bag of only God knew what.

"Hey Moyashi-chan." The Hitachiin said this with his usual snark but was a bit more quiet. Allen gave him a small glare.

"Both Lavi and Yuu are going to pay for that." He said this a bit clearer than yesterday.

"I can see that your improving. From what I've heard you weren't even half conscious yesterday."

"They're already trying to get me off the medication bit by bit," the white haired boy answered.

"Well, to test you, which twin am I?" the red haired boy's grin steadily grew.

"Hikaru." Allen declared.

"Nope, wrong!"

"You can two can try that as many times as you'd like, your still Hikaru." Hikaru then deflated a bit.

"How can you even tell?" he said with a childish pout.

"You sound a bit different. I'm a musician, remember."

"So is your Uncle and he never seems to be able to tell!"

"He pretends. He can tell even better than I can, actually," Allen said plainly.

"You really sound out of character, you know."

"Excuse me for recovering from heart surgery and being drugged up to my teeth."

"Right. That's actually a part of the reason I'm here. It is my job to assist in cheering you up!"

"Wouldn't that be more of Tamaki's thing to go in first?"

"Yeah, but they're still all arguing outside about who should come in."

Typical.

Hikaru took advantage of Allen's moment of deadpan staring by climbing up on the queen sized bed and opening the bag next to him. In it were a plethora of styling scissors and combs.

"How did you even get those approved. I'm in the ICU," Allen said with an eyebrow raised.

"Kyōya's family owns this hospital remember, and as long as I don't use any sprays, I'm not risking infection or anything."

"I have over nine thousand wires attached to me. Isn't that a bit of a hazard, too?"

"That's why I'm being extra careful and that's also why the Dark Lord didn't mention anything to the staff. You washed your hair yesterday, right?"

"Hey, don't change the subject… Yeah I did. Let me guess, you noticed my hair looked cleaner or something."

"No, your Uncle told me when I asked."

"Do I need to sit up straight for this, because then we'll have a problem."

"Just relax, Kyōya told me how to do this."

"How comforting." Hikaru ignored this statement.

The taller boy unlocked the wheels of the bed rolling it forward just enough for him to fit behind it which wasn't very far. He was mindful of every wire in the process. He then pressed the correct buttons on the remote next to the Moyashi's bed in order to raise it a bit. He added another pillow behind his classmate's back. The final step was to raised the base of the bed upwards. When all of this was finished he was able to expose the back of Allen's head while still keeping the boy comfortably supported by his hospital bed.

"Have you ever actually done this before?"

"Are you always going to act this bitchy? Who do you think did Haruhi's hair?"

"A stylist that you hired."

"Ouch. That hurt." He said this with a hand over his chest. "Anyway, I've cut Kaoru's hair hundreds of times and he's cut mine just as many times." He placed a towel around Allen's shoulders and then raked the comb through Allen's white delicate looking hair. "It really has gotten too long hasn't it. If your going to grow it out, you have to give it some shape. Not all of us can have Yuu's hair." He continued to comb out every last tangle methodically. He then began to trim split ends wherever they appeared. He then came to the in front of Allen and used the back end of the comb to part it to the right exposing clearly his left eye. He then with the hair prepped began to cut where it was needed to bring the vision he had in mind to life. He cut the back of the hair at Allen's mid neck and carefully layered it. He finished off with the bangs leaving two pieces at the front to go over his ears and end at his chin level framing his face. The twin then cut the bangs choppily and finished off with another comb through, a shake of the towel, and a light fluff. He then brought a mirror in front of his customer's face to show off his handiwork.

"I look different. Better, I think." He then gave a soft sincere smile. "Thank you."

With his blind eye exposed and his right eye in danger of being covered with hair Allen had questioned Hikaru's decision. But the twin had explained that with the eye exposed no one would question it, and it would fool everyone into thinking that he could see just as well out of that one as he could the other. It was a sort of reverse psychology.

"No problem. I'm sure Yuu would want to see, but we agreed to let only us hosts visit you today." Allen nodded as Hikaru began to adjust Allen's bed to it's original state.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Miranda rushed out of her apartment and to the taxi that was called over for her with her rolling luggage and oversized purse in hand. "I am sososososososososo sorry, sir." She bowed repeatedly to the driver.

"Just get in, lady. I'm on a schedule today." The German woman nodded as the driver heaved her bag into the back. She sat down in the back seat of the taxicab with her purse on her lap. She fastened her seat belt before the driver began to speed off. She reviewed the items that she had packed in her head for the millionth time that hour. It would be a forty five minute drive to the airport so she allowed herself to lightly dose off.

The next day at around the same time the same orange haired teen came through Allen's door.

"Yo!"

"Good morning," Allen greeted with a smile. He was back to relative normalcy and was sat up a bit higher. His hair still looked nice.

"I heard that you were gonna start walking again sometimes today." Allen nodded in confirmation.

"Yeah, I'm pretty happy too. Sitting here all day doesn't really suit me." Hikaru laughed a bit in agreement, but the white haired boy was able to notice a far off look in his classmate's eyes when he did.

"Is something wrong, Hikaru?" Allen asked with concern.

"Your the one attached to billions of wires, idiot," he said with a "duh" look. His answer was an incredulous look. "I'm afraid that this isn't a problem you could relate with."

"Try me."

The older twin let his sour mood be known. "I don't think you've ever known someone that looks exactly like you but is a different person. Plus, everyone loves you. How could they not?"

"You'd be surprised. Now, why don't you actually tell me what's wrong?" He said this again with a smile that exuded more motherliness than Hikaru had ever seen on a person. He gave in.

"It was just some maid. The young and cheerful type. She's worked over at our house for a week or so. She always talked to Kaoru and I was fine that she didn't really ever talk to me. Yesterday when she made an effort to speak to me she just seemed put off for some reason. Apparently she had thought I would be a lot more like Kaoru and was talking all about it with another maid. It just really pissed me off." He grit his teeth as he spat out the last sentence.

Allen winced with sympathy. "It's just a natural reaction. Expectations are built up about another person and when the truth is found out, well what happens depends on the person, and you don't have to be a twin to know that. I think she was being quite mean by gossiping, though. Now, what was it you were saying about love," Allen's smile then turned a bit mischievous.

Hikaru blushed at the slip up, "N-nothing. You must have imagined it or something."

"I'm pretty sure that I didn't."

"W-well!"

"Is it one of the customers?"

"No!"

"Oh, is it someone I know?"

"U-um."

He laughed a bit, "I bet it's Haruhi." Hikaru then turned completely red. "Wait. I was right?"

"You mean you never caught on? According to everyone else I was obvious. Even Kanda knew!"

"Sorry. I guess I'm a bit slow." He then laughed while scratching his head a bit. A knock was heard at the door and a nurse poked her head in.

"Walker-san will need to go into physical therapy in a minute so you'll need to go, Hitachiin-san," she said. The two nodded.

"Anyway, thanks for listening to me. I'll see you later." He got up and left while Allen waved a goodbye.

As soon as Miranda had gotten her two bags from the taxi it sped off having already been paid by the Black Order in advance. She got from her purse her boarding pass and had after a little bit of looking found the correct check in center. She was able to check in her bag without too many problems. She then went to the security check where she showed them her ID, boarding pass once again, took off her shoes and was able to be at the terminal early. Things were going so well, she was suspicious. After reading a chapter or two of a book that she had picked out at the airport store the call for first class came. Remembering that her ticket was booked as first class she gathered her one carry on and went in line but when asked for her boarding pass she realized that something was missing.

"W-where is it?!" she begin panicking and stepped out of line. Back at her seat in the terminal she rummaged through her large purse at least three times before standing up abruptly and running down to every place she had been in the airport.

"Oh, Miranda. This might be your biggest blunder yet!" she said to herself in German.

It wasn't in the Starbucks and wasn't near the terminal entrance.

"Those tickets cost a fortune and it was first class. You can't pay for something like that yourself."

She went to the bookstore but didn't find it in there. She also didn't notice the employee at the desk calling, "Miss! Miss!"

"What if I lose another job before it even would be number one hundred too like in the dream. And now I'm talking to myself again!" She let out a final wail as she walked defeatedly to her seat at the terminal once again. A man that seemed familiar had walked to her and grabbed her shoulder.

"Lady, you left your ticket at the counter." He placed it in her hand. When she blinked blankly with wide eyes he added, "I was the man who rang your books through at the store. I've been trying to find fifteen minutes now."

"Thank you so much, sir!" She was on her knees almost crying in front of him and he looked rather uncomfortable.

"It's not problem." She was about to get in the no longer existent line to get to the plane that was due to take off soon when another smaller hand grabbed her shoulder once more.

"Miss, you forgot your bag when you ran in a second time." Miranda was basically sobbing at this point and the two employees had to guide her to a flight attendant in order to assist the distressed woman to her seat.

The plane scheduled for an eleven hour flight nonstop to London began.

What else could possibly go wrong?

"Everything," she said to herself.

Allen creased his brow in worry. He hadn't walked in a while so he was a bit nervous. What if it ended up hurting? What if a stitch popped? He knew that wouldn't tickle. Scenarios kept on going through his head. His uncle seeing this smiled reassuringly.

"It'll be fine, Allen. Just put one foot in front of the other. And I'll be right here to catch you if you fall." He said that last part with a wink. Allen nodded. With a gulp he began to stand up. One hand was grasping his the IV stand and was held steady by a doctor. The other was held by Neah. Kanda was standing over were Allen was supposed to walk to with a disinterested look on his face. The way he glanced back at the smaller teen every few seconds proved that he felt much differently then he looked.

He had found his legs surprisingly unsteady for it only being a little more than twenty four hours ago when he had used them. He was then reminded of stories of people who had spent weeks on bed rest or months in a coma and couldn't even understand how they could begin to move if he was having so much trouble after only a day. The first three steps were shaky and both of his hands had their respective items in a death grip, but he got used to it. By the time he was half way to his boyfriend they were more there for comfort then support. He was still slower then he would have liked, but he had to take one step at a time. When a thought suddenly passed through his head his eyebrows became creased with determination. He took another step and kept on walking.

Just as Mana had said.

"When we land it will be twelve at noon so I suggest that you all get a bit of sleep before we land to help with the time change. Meals will be served at one o'clock and five o'clock Tokyo time. Enjoy your flight."

After the initial flight introductions Miranda began to sag into her comfortable seat. She had turned off her phone as she was supposed to and was ready to just plain relax. Maybe if she slept the whole time nothing could go wrong? Maybe that would even get rid of the dark circles?

"Who am I kidding. As if I'll actually be able to sleep," she moped.

"Don't be so down, I'm sure everything will be fine," a voice said next to her.

"Ugh, and now there are voices in my head, great."

"I'm not in your head, Miranda." She turned then to the seat next to her and shrieked in surprise. "Sorry for startling you. I should have introduced myself earlier. My name is Noise Marie." The large man held out his hand to the woman.

"Oh, nice to meet you. Um, do you happen to work with the Black Order?" she asked.

"Yes I do. I assume you know a bit of who I am. We've met there already, haven't we?"

"Yeah, we did at the ark mission." He nodded. "Are you still, erm. I don't know how to put this…"

"Yes, I'm blind here too. Speaking of that you should meet my dog before we go much further into this. His name happens to be Allen too."

"That's a bit unfortunate," she said feeling a bit bad for the Allen back in Japan.

"From what Kanda's told me, not really. I heard that the Allen in that place was named after his foster father's dog. My dog actually likes Allen a lot and Allen likes playing with him, so it's possible that he's like us." Miranda smiled at the thought.

The two new-old friends talked for what could have been hours or minutes but when Miranda fell asleep against Marie's arm he only smiled.

Yes this chapter is a bit shorter then I had planned but it's just how it turned out. I hope that you enjoyed it just as much as I had. The next chapter will be all about Miranda and her arrival at the order. The chapter after that will be wrapping up Allen's recovery and introducing a new DGM character. Then it's going to be Christmas in England and will stop about there.

I had a few of you ask if Allen's hairstyle is the same as the one from the manga as of late, and I hope that the description answered your question. If it didn't, yes it it that hairstyle.

If you didn't see it earlier PLEASE READ!

What do you ship?
